Missons Fail #1
AS THE NIGHT FOLLOWED, Oliver left his room and headed down the corridor of the boy's dorm to find Jay's and Carlos's room. He was very fortunate enough to have a room to himself, so he didn't have to worry about noisy roommates. Arriving at the oak wood door he didn't bother to knock as he pushed it open, stepping inside and nearly wincing at the harsh sound of music blasting from the television as Carlos jumped widely, swinging his legs so that his screen automated self could whoop-ass.
Jay stood over his bed, staring down seriously at all the random objects littering his bed that Oliver definitely knew he stole. Which, he can't criticize him seeing as the gold plated watch circling his wrist said something.
"Cool stuff." Oliver complimented, dropping himself down on the nearby swivel chair and swung himself around.
Jay gave a grunt in reply. "I could say the same for that watch on your wrist. Where'd you get it?"
"Off of Prince Charming himself." Oliver boasted, but he wasn't technically wrong considering he did steal it off Chad Charming. Hearing the door open he sent a nod in regard to the girls as they walked over, Evie skipping over and falling on to the bed beside him.
"Olly, please persuade Issa to let me design something for her." She pouted, fluttering her eyelashes at him. "I use you as a model all the time. And you look absolutely wonderful."
Oliver snorted, rolling the chair over so he can lift up his legs and curl his toes under the blue-haired sweethearts' thigh. "Well, I can't deny the fact that I am good looking. However, getting Issa to something against her will is nearly impossible."
"She is as stubborn as a mule," Evie commented, shooting Issa an innocent smile when the girl gave them a glare in reply. Issa walked over and flicked strands of Evie's hair over her eyes, causing her to squeak about ruining her perfectly styled curls before pressing her weight on top of Oliver's shins.
The green-eyed boy gave her an irritated look, pushing his knees into her lower back. "Issa, think you can move butt off of me? I'm not a chair?"
"Really?" Issa asked, looking down at him in surprise. "No wonder it's so boney."
Oliver let out a snort before sliding his leg from under her and digging his toes into her side. Issa gave a short yelp before smacking his ankle, narrowing her eyes at him.
Mal walked over to Jay. "Jay. What are you doing?" She asked, staring at the various stolen items.
"It's called stealing." He answered.
"Okay, what's the point?"
"Well, Mal, it's like buying whatever I want," he explained, pulling out a laptop that resided in his pants. "Except it's free."
Mal rolled her eyes, picking up a wallet and waving it around in Jay's face. "Okay, you could do that," she said while throwing the wallet over her shoulder, much to Jay's displeasure. "Or you could leave all this stuff here and leave it when we take over the world."
"You sound just like your mom," Evie praised, pausing from where she was applying and an extra layer of blush to Issa's cheeks.
Mal pressed a hand over her heart, basking in the compliment. "Thanks."
Issa pressed herself into Oliver's side, curling her fingers into the end of his sweater. "You'll never believe what happened to me earlier. I met Robert."
"Robert." Oliver narrowed his eyes, the cogs in his head turning as he tried to remember where he had heard that name from. "Wait, as in your brother, Robert?"
"Yep."
"What did he want? Was it the usual 'villains shouldn't be here at all, and they deserve to rot on the Isle?'" He mimicked the basic sayings of the few people on Auradon that he had met so far. Like they all got it, they understood that they would not be well received by the Auradon population but that did not mean that they wanted to be reminded of it.
Issa let out a puff of air, pressing her chin into her palm. "No, he...it was really weird. He was super nice. Which is, really weird."
"Yeah. Totally. Meet anyone else?"
"Not in particular. However, tomorrow may be a different story. My godly side of the family may be a small issue in the plan, and I'm not sure about Ginerva, Robert's daughter. And you may have to worry about a certain daughter of Rapunzel."
Oliver shifted awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck in the process. Issa peered up at him, staring into his eyes.
"What's wrong? And don't try lying to me, you always scratch your neck when your lying."
"I do not."
"You do too, it's a surprise you were to get away with so much on the Isle but this is me we're talking about." Issa leaned closer and narrowed her eyes demandingly. "Now tell me."
As Oliver opened his mouth, Mal snapped in frustration that no one seemed to be following the plan. "Guys! Do I have to remind you what we're all here for?"
"Fairy godmother...blah, blah, blah... a magic wand...blah, blah." Jay waved his hand sarcastically, turning from the game that he was previously playing to face Mal, but it was only partially as he was still trying to keep an eye on the game at the same time.
Issa held back a snort as she noticed the blue vein about to jump out from Mal's forehead in response to not being heard.
"This is our one chance to prove ourselves to our parents!" The room went quiet, minus the background sounds coming from the game. The group of teens stared up at the purple-haired ring leader. "To prove that we are evil and vicious and ruthless and cruel. Yeah?" She asked, earning mummers in response. "Evie, mirror."
The daughter of the Evil Queen moved over to the circular table and placed her magic mirror in front of her. Everyone else rose to their feet and moved to stand behind her, peering over her shoulder as the mirror flashed whenever Evie ordered it so.
"Magic mirror, not so close," Evie whispered as the image of the Earth faded to a continent. "Closer." Then a city. "Closer."
"Stop," Jay said quickly as the mirror showed the sign outside a building; The Museum of Cultural History.
"It's in the museum. Do we know where that is?"
Carlos grabbed the laptop on the table and began typing in the name of the building. "Two point three miles from here." He said, turning the screen so they could see. Mal grinned with a wicked gleam in her eyes before racing towards the door, sticking her head out to make sure the coast was clear before signaling for the others to follow.
As the others followed after her, Oliver slowed to a halt and turned back to the room with an unimpressed expression as he saw Carlos still entrapped by the game. The white-haired boy was completely unaware of his friend standing behind him until he cleared his throat. "Carlos."
"Coming!" Grabbing his leather jacket, Carlos paused the game before hurrying out of the room and running alongside Oliver.

It wasn't a very long before they reached the outer steps of the museum, however, none of the teens were expected to be so out of it during the walk as they all started to sway from being burnt out. Man was it the long run.
"Check your mirror," Mal instructed Evie.
Evie looked at her in alert. "Is my mascara smudged?"
Issa peered closer, studying her friend's makeup before pulling back and shaking her head. "No. But while you're at it, you can find us the wand."
Evie lifted the mirror, glancing back and forth before nodding in affirmation. "This way." Evie leads them to the front doors of the museum, where the group hid behind the wall as the security guard from inside turned in their direction. When deemed safe, they moved back into position.
"That's it?" Jay snorted, pointing to the wooden spinning wheel that rested beside the guard whose attention was on the monitors. "That's your mother's spinning wheel?"
Soon Carlos joined in. "It's kind of dorky."
Mal shot them a glare, her eyes twitching at the fact that they were her mother had valued so dearly, one of the greatest things she had ever created. "It's magic. It doesn't have to look scary." Mal picked up her spellbook and began to read out one of the spells. "Magic spindle, do not linger. Make my victim prick a finger."
They all watched, waiting for the spell to kick in. However, sadly, the security guard remained in his normal state, only fueling Carlos's and Jay's laughter.
Oliver looked down at Issa. "You wanna give it a try?" He raised an eyebrow in surprise when he saw the girl raising her hands in the air, her eyes glowing a crimson red as she stared at the guard as his back faced her.
"Body, mind, and bone, I call to you," Issa uttered, tilting her head to the side. "Make my victim go into a sleep-like trance, make him stay, never stray, as sleep is where he shall stay."
The guard from inside let out an abrupt sigh, his neck snapping back in surprise, but the magic fell over him quickly and he slowly rested his head over the control panel and his snores were the only sound in the room.
"Wow," Carlos whispered in awe, eyes wide.
Issa smiled proudly, sending a wink in Mal's direction who rolled her eyes in response, shaking her head impressed. "You do have to teach me that." She pushed against the doors handle, only to remain stumped as it remained locked.
"I got this," Jay said smugly, stepping backward. Mal flipped through her spellbook until she found a spell to unlock the door. With one wave of her finger, the door went flying open, taking Jay with it as he went flying past the entrance.
Oliver snickered as he stood at Jay's side, looking down at him. "Nice going man."
Jay groaned as he pushed himself up, dusting himself off as to regain whatever dignity he lost. "It was nothing."
