A Day Awaits
TO SAY THAT JACK WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO DISAGREED WITH THE NEW PROCLAMATION WOULD BE A LIE. All throughout the halls of Auradon, students would whisper back to each other about the new arrivals. Some would be meek replys, as if by even mentioning the name would cause all hell to freeze over.
Jack was pulled thin, as his inner circle of friends were split on separate sides of the spectrum when it came to it. Ben, Poppy, the daughter of Rapunzel, Abigail, somewhat, and Genieve were all for the idea. Audrey, Harrison and Deliphina, and Eddie were against it. Heck, Jack couldn't even mention the name around Deliphina without her glaring in to the distance.
Trying to keep good spirits for Ben and taking the weight off his shoulders, as he was busy getting everything squared away for the villain kids, Jack took up the opportunity to go around Auradon and see how everyone was adjusting to the news. Though Jack didn't see the point in doing so, as it was obvious, he didn't question it.
"You know," Jack began as he glanced around at all the students in the library. "you don't have to help. Though I compliment your strategy, I know how you feel about all this."
Audrey shook her head, not looking Jack in the eye as she scribbled away at her notepad. "I have no idea what you're talking about."
"Right. So your arrangements for new bed sheets in the girls and boys available dorm rooms, as well the Fairy Godmother's plan for the marching band. Audrey, I know all this was you."
The olive skinned girl didn't reply immediately, just stared at a nearby bookshelf. Then with an annoyed huff she said. "Still doesn't mean that I want them here. They're trouble I just know it." She let out a breath of air through her nose. "But Bennyboo believes that we should give them a chance. So I've decided to at least help ease the pressure off his shoulders."
Jack smiled and pressed his shoulder in to her side. "How nice of you. I'll pretend that I know nothing about this."
"Good choice."

Miles away from Auradon, across the ocean stood a gloomy fortress that could see chills through anyone's heart. The tall, ghastly grey stoned mountain was carved out, allowing a rundown town to slither it's way through. From the kingdom of Auradon, the residents would sneer at the tiny island, believing that all those who lived there got was they deserved. Underneath the thundering storm clouds, never being graced by the sight of sun thanks to the barrier, shabby houses and apartments huddled together in tight spaces, nearly falling apart.
The streets were littered with trash and occasionally, if someone were to listen closely, could hear the cracks forming in the concrete. Thousands of people roamed the streets, wearing the usual get up of the Isle-stolen, mismatch, hanging by a thread, stitched pieces of cloth. For the Isle, clothing like this was considered a privilege.
The Isle homed to all the storybook villains as you can guess had social classes that determined how they lived amongst each other on the Isle. The most notorious villains being Maleficent and Queen Narcissa. The two women were well known villains and had a spell of authority that reigned over the Isle. Just a step below them on the latter were there associates/allies-The Evil Queen, Jafar, Mother Gothel, and Cruella de Vile.
There children only teens, created names for themselves under their parents wing. Causing havoc around the Isle whenever they got the chance, and since school was out it meant almost everyday.
A purple haired girl stood before a brick wall, splattered in shades of green as she spray painted over it. Her mother's silhouette casting a green flame that she could only wish she still possessed. Turning around the girl displayed 'LONG LIVE EVIL' as she marched down the steps, a wicked grin on her face. When Mal, the daughter of Maleficent was near, trouble was sure to arise.
"They say I'm trouble. They say I'm bad. They say I'm evil, that makes me glad."
Jay, the son of Jafar, crouched down from his perch on top of the roof shed. A handsome smirk pulled on his face as he wrapped his body around a latter, sliding down easily.
"A dirty no good, down to the bone. Your worst nightmare, can't take me home."
The adopted son of Mother Gothel, Oliver, chuckled hysterically as he slid down the street on a skateboard he snatched from a kid, snorting as he saw the kid trying to chase after him. Shaking his head, he jumped off the skateboard and kicked it back over to the kid.
"They call me reckless, call me a fiend. But they don't get, I'm just being me."
A blue haired beauty, daughter of The Evil Queen, Evie strutted down the tables of a dining party, nearly breaking the dainty dishware with her heels.
"So I got some mischief, in my blood. Can you blame me? I never got no love."
A messy white haired boy jumped out of an open window from the shelter. His freckled face made him easily recognizable as Carlos, the son of Cruella de Vile. Jumping on to the street, he swiped an apple mid air from kid taking a quick bite before throwing it back.
"They think I'm callous. A low life hood. I feel so useless, misunderstood!"
Mal and Evie met up in the alleyway, strutting down the pavement without a care for anyone nearby. Oliver and Jay flipped off the rooftops, and slid down the shed before racing to meet up with the girls and Carlos, who raced around the corner.
"Mirror, mirror, on the wall. Who's the baddest of them all? Welcome to my wicked world. Wicked world!"
The VK's slammed against a gate widely, creating a noise so loud that the residents nearby were awaken from their sleep.
"I'm rotten to the core(core), rotten to the core. I'm rotten to the core(core), who could ask for more. I'm nothing like the kid, like the kid next door."
Shoving the gate open, they all raced inside the laundry mat, yanking dried towels off the line rack and throwing them to the ground, Mal shoved a guy holding a pillow case causing him to dunk his head in the water.
Running through the underground tunnels they jumped out in to the market place, Mal shook a can of spray paint and drew an 'M' for her name on a nearby drape.
"Call me a schemer. Call me a freak. How can you say that? I'm just, unique."
Jay rolled off of a curtain rack, on to a table were to men were chatting. Picking their teapot, he made sure to wipe off the smug before hurring off, pot still in hand.
"What me a traitor? Ain't got your back? I don't need know friends. What's up with that?"
Oliver flipped off the Slop Shop rooftop, swing on a post post beside a woman who walked out with cup of coffee. Taking it from her, he took sip of the muddy, dark liquid before shaking his head at her, tossing it in the trash.
"So I'm an outcast, a trouble maker. You want to outsmart me? Don't even try."
Evie pushed her way through curtains of scarves, twirling them around her fingers. When she noticed one of the workers not looking, she pulled him by the scarf around his neck to gain his attention.
"So I'm a misfit. So I'm a flirt. I broke your heart, I made you hurt."
Carlos jumped up on to a piece of wood, kicking a basket of apples from a woman's hands before dropping a basket on her head. Dogging her advances and landing on a moving cart of hay.
"The past is past. Forgive, forget. Truth is, you ain't seen nothin' yet!"
Evie and Mal stood on top of the balcony, watching as Oliver pulling Jay along, as the long haired boy swung from the metal beam. The group hurried outside in to the town square, snickering as people either hid in fear or joined in.
"Mirror, mirror, on the wall. Who's the baddest of them all? Welcome to my wicked world. Wicked world. I'm rotten to the core(core). Rotten to the core(core). I'm rotten to the core(core), who could ask for more. I'm nothing like the kid, like the kid next door. I'm rotten to the, I'm rotten to the core!"
