Red and blue flashing lights echoed off of the smooth brick building. There were large bold letters on the front of the building that read "DUKE'S BANK". "We've got them surrounded. There's no escape this time." One of the officers muttered to another. Pistols were aimed at every entrance. "Come out and put your hands where I can see them!" The Cheif Officer spoke into a megaphone. Everything was silent for a little bit until a small black orb rolled out of the bank. An officer bent down to examine it before...
BOOM!
The bank exploded, rubble flying everywhere. Golden flames flared angrily at the sky. The police stood back, out of reach of the destruction. They were so focused on the building that they didn't even notice the hooded figures emerge from it, running. The three people fleeing each wore a hoodie. One wore black and red, another wore a light blue, and the last wore a gray hoodie.
The group came to a stop well ways away in an abandoned junkyard. Immedietly the light blue one howled with laughter. "You should have seen their faces!" He exclaimed. The black and red hooded one pulled down his hood, revealing pale skin and deep brown hair. He pushed up the glasses on his face, looking at his friend, unamused. The gray hood person started snickering. "Zak, Vincent, what is so funny?" Black-And-Red guy asked. "Did you not see it? Th-The- HAHA! Officers--" Zak couldn't help laughing. "The reactions on their faces! It was- Heh- Hilarious!" He exclaimed. Zak sunk to his knees, the laughing fit everlasting. Vincent was giggling at how funny Zak thought it was.Vincent looked over at the other male, while he was met with a small frown. Laughter fizzed in the background from Zak.
"Darryl! Help meee!" Zak giggled, his laughing fit fading. Zak reached up towards Darryl, the black- and - red guy. "No, you muffin!" Darryl took a step backwards.
Zak finally got himself together and stood up. "Okay, I'm fine now." He grinned widely. Vincent shook his head, a small smile on his face, before turning around and climbing a tire-tower. The tires held his weight as he went into a small opening at the top. Darryl just stared at Zak. "What are you lookin' at?" Zak snapped playfully. "You, you muffin." Darryl simply responded. "And if I'm non-existent and all in your head?" Zak made an attempt of a straight face. "Then... You were just in my head." Darryl shrugged. Zak faked a hurt expression. "You don't care about me?" He asked. "Well no, I never said that!" Darryl rolled his eyes. "But- But-" Zak began to fake pout. He glanced over Darryl's shoulder at the moon. Pointing, he said, "Hey, it's almost sunrise. I should get home." Darryl followed Zak's gaze, nodding. "You're right, for once, let's get going." Darryl earned a glare from Zak as he said that.
Zak and Darryl went to their cars, leaving Vincent in his tire-tower den. The roar and hum of both cars sounded, along with some screeching. Darryl was in his black truck, while Zak was in his blue truck. They left, one by one, heading home as the sun rose.
