Two

I wasn't liying about leaving... but I do know that I'll have to stay with these people for a while before I am prepared and ready to leave. All I need to do is hide who I really am, which shouldn't be too hard considering they all think I'm dead.

Instead of running off and having sex or doing something incredibly stupid like most of the people I'm with I decide to go for a small wander. Quickly giving Bellamy a glare of disapproval his way.

While on my little stroll I over hear two people having a conversation.

Should I say something or just spy on them in the background?

"Why so serious princess? It's not like we died in a fiery explosion." Chuckles a pretty decent looking guy with brown hair that almost reaches his shoulders and a matching pair of brown eyes.

The blonde girl scoffs. "Try telling that to the two guys who tried to follow you out of their seats." She must be talking about the two guys who died.

The pretty boy looks down in shame before regaining his confidence. "You don't like being called princess, do you, Princess?" His voice is a little quieter than before but his tone is still a teasing one.

The blonde girl fiddles with a map in her hand and sighs loudly, she's clearly annoyed about something. "You see that peak over there?" She says pointing towards a large mountain far off in the distance.

"Yeah." Responds the guy.

"Mount Weather. There’s a radiation-soaked forest between us and our next meal. They dropped us on the wrong damn mountain."

All three of us set our gazes at the mountain.

Shit...

Before the two turn around and find me I decide to leave quietly and make my way back to camp.

Out of my own initiative while an argument is taking place I build myself a small tent out of some of the parachute used to slow out decent to earth and whatever logs, sticks and wires I can find.

I may have been locked up for years and some might think that'll either make someone go insane or let lose when they've been set free. But my whole life has been built around survival. More so than anyone else in the Ark.

Once I've completed the finishing touches to my makeshift tent I decide to join the rest of the 97 and listen to whatever is going on.

"We're on the ground. That not good enough for you?" Says Bellamy, clearly annoyed with the boy infront of him.

"We need to get to Mount Weather. You heard my father's message. That has to be out first priority." Replies the boy with nearly shaving black hair. He's built strong and his eyes hold many secrets, but I can already tell he his weak.

Wait... did he say "my father"? Is he the chancellors son?

Just as I am about to ask for a confirmation of the conclusion I've come to I stop myself. It would seem odd if I didn't know who the Chancellors son was and what he looks like. I let the argument continue on without my input.

"Screw you and your father. What, you think you're in charger here, you and your little princess?" Spits a rather pretty girl with long black hair and green eyes. I can see a similarity between this girl and Bellamy... which confuses me because no one has a sibbling. Unless they kept her hidden and got caught. I remember hearing a guard talk about that once. A girl that was found was hidding under the families floor.

"Do you think we care who’s in charge? We need to get to Mount Weather not because the Chancellor said so, but because the longer we wait, the hungrier we’ll get and the harder this’ll be. How long do you think we’ll last without those supplies? We’re looking at a twenty-mile trek, okay? So if we want to get there before dark, we need to leave now."  She's smart... but she also looks like she might lead us, and one way or another I always find a way to get into trouble with people who lead. I still don't know this girls name.

This idea doesn't seem to fit well with Bellamy though. So instead of agreeing like any smart and sane person would he instead makes things worse for the Chancellors son and the blonde girl by arguing.

"I got a better idea. You two go, find it for us. Let the privileged do the hard work for a change."

I can understand where Bellamy is coming from. If I lived in society long enough and was apart of the working class I guess I too would be making statements like this. However, I wasn't. I was thrown out of society at the first chance the council got. Therfore I have no prejudice views on anyone or anything. Also I don't blame the council for the choices they made, if I knew what they knew I would've done the same thing to myself.

Bellamys claim of making the 'privileged' do the hard work causes the crowd of delinquents to all get riled up. They all agree with Bellamy. "Yeah!"

"You're not listening. We all need to go." Pleads The Chancellors son. Not in a pathetic way, but as if he were pleading for them to be saved. Something he must be used to doing, pleading for others lives. Being the son of the Chancellor is far from being privileged... or so I would think.

"Look at this, everybody... the Chancellor of earth." Mocks a boy with his eyes to far apart, making him look slightly odd.

I can already sense a fight about to begin. My eyes scan around the area, trying to find the best vantage point to step in if I need to without having someone tearing me away.

"Think that's funny. Uh!" The Chancellors son gets knocked down to his feet. His leg appears to be injured.

"Wells..." says the blonde girl quietly, more to herself.

Wells -The Chancellors son- gets back onto his feet, getting ready for a fight.

Just as the odd looking boy gets ready to take another swing at Wells I decide to do something incredibly stupid and something I might possibly regret later, but right now all I care about is stopping this fight.

I jump infront of Wells just as the boys fist glides through the air smoothly and what would of hit Wells in the upper chest hits me in the face.
