Three

Previously: I jump infront of Wells just as the boys fist glides through the air smoothly and what would of hit Wells in the upper chest hits me in the face.

My body moves to the right as it processes being hit. Pain surging throughout my whole face but mainly my right cheekbone. However I refuse to fall to the ground, I stumble a little, then big strong hands steady me from behind. I crane my neck around to see that it is Wells who is steading me.

"Thanks." I mumble while setting my gaze upon the odd boy again.

"You got in my way bitch..." shouts the boy.

"Shut it wide eyes. I wouldn't mess with me if I were you, and also I wouldn't mess with Wells either. You even try to hurt him and you'll have me to answer to. And trust me, you don't want that!" My face already brusing and venom dripping from my speech I stare down the boy who punched me in the face.

My vision is starting to get a little bit blurry but I fight back the light headness. It's been a while since I've actually been in a fist fight. The last one being a year ago, since then I had decided to not get physical with anyone... unfortunately that means my body isn't used to taking hits.

Wells keeps his hands hovering over my waist, clearly sensing my unsteadyness. My gaze meets Bellamys as he shakes his head, unimpressed with how I've acted.

"Stay out of fights that aren't yours pipsqueak and then you won't get hurt." Says Bellamy while walking towards me. The crowd has dissipated as everyone has gone back to doing their own thing.

"Shutup..." I mumble, falling backwards into Wells chest, who steadys me once again onto my own two feet.

Bellamy looks at the two of us and laughs at me being unable to take a hit. "I've gotta ask Pip, why would no one want to mess with you, what have you done to get you here on earth?" Questions Bellamy with a mocking tone. His stupid slicked back hair is annoying me.

"None of your business." I spit back, mustering up whatever strength I have left in me at the moment. I hate how weak I have become.

"I'll find out what you've done, one way or another." I can feel the threat in his words and watch as his back walks away from me.

I turn to Wells. "I think I might need to lay down for a little bit." My words come out breathy and even my laugh sounds empty. Wells nods his head, glad he's got an ally amongst thoes who hate him.

I awake from my little nap on a makeshift hammock and the blonde girl sitting down, looking at me.

"Why did you jump infront of Wells when Murphy was going to punch him? I agree that we shouldn't fight, but I have to ask, why?"

She's straight to the point.

Murphy must be the guy with the wide eyes...

"It's like you said, fighting is wrong. Besides I don't think that just because of his father's position he should be mocked and beaten for doing what is right for the group."

The girl nods her head in agreement.

"Just so you know, I would've jumped infront of you if it was you they were taking a swing at..." I add, letting the girl know I'm not gender biast as to who I help.

"Good to know..." smiles the girl. "I'm Clark Griffens."

Abby Griffens daughter...

Even with knowing what she knew about me, Abby was nice enough to me. Although the only one in the council who I trust and was nice to me is Kane.... I think he knows the truth as to what really happened that day, he just couldn't do anything about it. He fought against me being floated at seven years of age. He's the reason as to why I'm alive now. I've only met the man once, but I think he's always had his eye out for me.

The pretty boy with almost shoulder length hair walks up to Clark and I.

"So Mount Weather. When do we leave?"  He says adressing his speech to Clark. I can already sense a spark between them.

"Right now. We'll be back tomorrow with food." Clark stands as she speaks, turning around to face the pretty boy.

"How are you two going to carry food for 100?" Asks Wells as he joins the conversastion. Obviously he can't go on the quest because of his leg.

"98." I correct. "Two of us died during the landing." I remind them.

"Four of us can go..." says pretty boy as he grabs a cute looking boy with shaggy brown hair and goggles, and an Asian boy.

"Can we go now?" Asks pretty boy... I really need to know his name. He seemed to have noticed me staring at him though and decides to introduce himself to me. "I'm Finn by the way..."

"Jade."

We shake hands and the conversation continues.

"Sounds like a party, make it five." The pretty girl with long black hair and green eyes makes her way towards us with a half skip, making her claim of joining the four on the trip to Mount Weather.

"Hey, what the hell are you doing Octavia." Says Bellamy as he grabs Octavias arm. I make a mental note to remember her name.

"Going for walk." Responds Octavia as if there's nothing wrong with it. Which so far there doesn't seem to be, however I'm not so trusting of the ground just yet.

The group of five then head off into the forest, leaving Wells, Bellamy and I together.

Bellamy and Wells exchange unhappy glances at eacother before Bellamy leaves us two.

"I'd like to thank you for jumping infront of me back there. I could've taken the hit,  but it's comforting to know at least one person here doesn't hate me." His voice matching his kind brown eyes.

"It's alright." I say sitting up on the makeshift hammock, wobbling slightly to the unsteadyness of the hanging bed.

"If you ever need help with anything just give me a holla and I'll come." I add, smiling at Wells. He smiles back.

"Anyway, I better rest up my leg. Mind if I use that tent of yours? It might be better if people don't see me at the moment." Wells voice is low, possibly he's having second thoughts about coming here... or maybe it's just that his leg hurts and he's tired.

Once Wells left Murphy makes his way towards me. Towering over my sitting form as he looks down at me. His eyes slant slightly as his eyebrows knit together lowly.
