DeadWings flew off. Raker followed her. "Why are you flying away?!" Raker yelled after her. "Don't you see?! I am the granddaughter of Darkstalker. My blood is treasure! I'm worth more than gold! Scarlet wants me, she's hiring assassins and dragons after me! And she might kill you in the doing!" DeadWings roared. Raker saw blood and tears coming from her eyes. Raker was hurt and upset. Whoever touches you will pay. I will rip their heads off and feed it to the crocodiles. Raker thought in anger. DeadWings flew back down and landed on a branch near Raker. Raker noticed she was completely still like a statue. NorthLight looked quite confused. Raker signaled for NorthLight to stay there while she went over to talk to DeadWings. She sat by DeadWings and whispered. "We will find Scarlet, and defeat her, even if it kills me. She is trying to lead us in a trap. Plus, I need to retrieve....." Raker trailed off as she looked down in sorrow. "We need to find Ash..." Raker said in a much lower voice. "All three of us will find her." Just as Raker was finished talking, DeadWings began to speak, but was cut off by a vicious roar of anger. Raker whipped around to see a yellow-golden-orange dragon landing in the middle of the village and destroying hits. Raker realized he was a Skywing and was much bigger then the rainwings. Once she saw the skywing's blind eye and scar across his face, she immediately knew it was Ash. "Ash!" She yelled with happiness. Ash turned to her with a snarl as he was holding a Rainwing by the throat. The Rainwing gasped and choked for air. Ash easily threw them off the edge of the village to their death. Raker's jaw dropped in shock. He walked over to her, smoke rising from his mouth and nostrils. His eyes were full of anger. She saw the chain with the black diamond at the end. His eyes were all black. They were never like that before, they were usually a bright and shiny silver. She knew that they were black from the diamond hanging from the chain that looked like he broke out of a prison. He grabbed Raker by the throat with brute force and stood on his hind legs. He lifted her up on the air. She couldn't breathe at all, he squeezed her throat. She tried to speak, but couldn't. She gasped for air and clawed at his arm. She sunk her claws in his scales, blood came streaming down, but it was like as if he couldn't feel pain at all. Soon Raker saw a dark figure slam into Ash's side, knocking him to the ground, making him drop Raker. There was a bundle of black and golden scales fighting on the ground. Raker saw how much smaller the black figure was compared to Ash and realized it was DeadWings. Raker just realized how much smaller she was compared to him. She sank her claws in his underbelly in anger. "DeadWings no!" She roared. She yelled at DeadWings for her and Ash's own good. Someone would end up dead if she didn't help. Raker quickly pushed DeadWings off of Ash and climbed on him and pinned him down. He flipped her over and was now on top of her. He took his talons and held them in the air, aiming at Raker's throat for the death blow. Right as his talons pieced through the would underneath Raker, she moved her head just in time. She would have been dead if she didn't move. She raked at his wings. He roared and quickly got off of her. She signaled for DeadWings and NorthLight to fly away with her while Ash was to busy roaring in pain. They all quickly flew off through the treetops and out into open air.

They flew far away by now. Tears welled in Raker's eyes and she landed on the ground. The others flew ahead of her at Raker's sudden landing. They turned around and landed next to Raker, who was sobbing to hard to notice them. She looked at her talons to see the blood of Ash. Then she covered her eyes with them and continued her sobbing. She felt the wing of DeadWings wrap around her to comfort her. DeadWings looked at NorthLight who was confused, NorthLight acted like she didn't notice and turned around. "I can't believe that he tried to kill me...." Raker trailed off in chokes. "I should- tell you the whole, story between me and him." Raker said. DeadWings nodded.
