The next morning, Raker showed the others her egg. But she was afraid it might be a dud. After all the flying and fighting and stress, she didn't even know. But just in case, she brought the egg with her when they continued flying. They needed to find out about this nightwing that wanted the Seawing egg. They flew for what seemed like hours. Sadness still took over Raker's body just to remember that she would never see Ash again. She kept to the back of all the dragons. She didn't want to be seen with tears in her eyes. She tried to cover her face by looking down. "Glow, where did you give this nightwing the egg?" NorthLight asked as she flew up next to Glow. "Umm, let me think. I'm pretty sure we met at a cave near the ocean." Glow replied. "Okay, then that's where we should head so we can get rid of this problem, and then get Scarlet." NorthLight said changing her direction to the ocean. Soon they were all heading to the ocean.

Once they saw the ocean's beach in the distance, Raker saw two dragons flying in the same direction. One was black, and the other was icy-blue. She knew it was an Icewing and a Nightwing. But why were they going to the ocean? She sped up her pace. The dragons must've heard their wing beats and they turned around. The Icewing looked angry. Raker noticed the Nightwing had silver teardrops in the corners of her eyes just like Raker. She tilted her head in confusion at the dragon. The Icewigg snarled and roared at the others, not noticing Raker. He lunged at NorthLight. He shouldn't have picked a fight with her. They tussled in the air. Two dragons colliding. There were roars and hisses of anger. Raker flew and slammed her body in the side of the Icewing. The Icewing lost his balance and twirled in the air until he caught his balance again. He looked shocked from the blow. He shook his head and snarled at Raker. "Winter no!" The Nightwing hollered. Winter then looked more closely at Raker. His eyes widened immediately. She felt wings quickly wrap around her tightly. She thought the Nightwing was attacking her, but then she realized she was hugging her. They all flew to the ground and landed with a thump. She felt the cold scales of the Icewing and the warm scales of the Nightwing wrap around her. The name Winter sounded familiar. "Raker! Oh my moons! It's been so long!" They hugged her so tightly she thought she was going to drop her egg. "Who are you?" Raker asked backing away out of their grasp. "It's me your mother MoonWatcher! And this is your father Winter!" She yelled with such happiness. Raker wanted to fall to the ground. Was this happiness engulfing over her sadness? Her limbs felt like jello. A smile slowly stretched across her face. Tears of joy welled in her eyes. She felt the gazes of her friends watching her. "We thought you were dead! What have you been doing all these years!" Winter now spoke. Then Moon noticed the egg she was holding. "And what is this?" She asked. "U-umm.... It's, you know, its m-my.. Egg." She stuttered with nervousness. Moon's eyes widened even more and so did Winter's. "Oh, my three moon! Raker! You have moved on so much without us and on your own! Congratulations!" She yelled and Winter smiled even wider with joy. "Where's the father? Is he with yall now?" Moon asked. All the friends exchanged sad glances. Raker looked down with tears of sadness rolling down her face. "What's wrong Raker?" She asked looking at her with concern. "The father.... Is d-dead.." She said with tears. Winter and Moon's faces turned to 'sorry for asking' faces. "Oh.." Moon trailed off. "Who was the father?" She asked with caution. "I mean-what tribe, was he from?" She asked again. Raker hesitated. She could tell her friends felt bad for her. She sighed and answered, "He was a great Skywing. He was disabled and could only breathe smoke, but it was deadly smoke. He was kind and generous, until Scarlet put a chain around his neck that had an animus touched black diamond at the end. It changed him to a monster. But he did help me escape Scarlet's arena. Anyways, he tried to kill me twice, and my friends. I broke the necklace and.... He didn't, make it." She sighed with sadness. "It all happened yesterday in Scarlet's throne room." Glow pitched in so Raker didn't have to finish. "I'm so sorry Raker..." Moon told her with sadness in her voice. "But we have to finish our mission. We have to find Scarlet, kill her, and then we are trying to find this Nightwing that has one of Queen Coral's eggs." Raker mentioned. "Oh, about that, we were actually heading to her palace to help her find it. They said since we saved Pyrrhia, we would be good at helping her." She told them. "We need to find out who took it." Winter said in a deep voice. They all looked at Glow nervously. "Umm, maybe I took it?" She tried not to sound SO suspicious. Winter and Moon immediately looked at her.
