Chapter Three
''That was you!'' Shocked and embarrassed, he scuffled his paws on the ground. ''Asher, i offered you a good deal, and so far you have been nothing but a liar, why would anyone want to join you?" She confronted him. Filled with guilt and embarrassment, he fetched the gem for her. And this time he went to dig it up, he spotted a shiny, tempting beetle on the ground, not daring to catch it for fear it might be her...
Asher returned the crimson gem to her, and in exchange she gave him a Wish Weed. ''I'm sorry Toni.''
His apology was sincere, as guilt was gnawing away at him. ''I still like you Asher, it's been forever since i've seen a Boltcat.''...
Asher then departed from her, and wished on the sacred weed;
I Asher the Boltcat, whose name literally means survivor,
I wish to become a Wizard,
I wish to gain magick,
And lastly, i wish for Beltros to die.
And after he said these sacred requests, he then ate the flower, which tasted like sunshine and happiness.
Asher walked back into the forest; being wary of the undead that constantly roamed Desmount. At this time of night rain was dripping from the skies. Asher crouched down into a nearby bush, listening to all the frightful sounds of the forest.
Asher lay as still as a statue, listening intently to all the sounds, perhaps worse than ghouls are Ultra-terrestrials. (Blue aliens, with gamma ray blasters that could disintegrate a human with one shot) Luckily though their blasters were hardly used... During the day the world was thunderous, with lighting all over the sky, and at night it was silent with several stars- but no matter what time of day it was, these creatures always prowled about. And as Asher layed down, thinking of Toni, and savoring her flowery scent, the peaceful darkness of sleep overtook him.
The next morning he awoke to the rumble of his stomach. As he is searching for prey, a familiar scent lingers in the ground; one that reminds him of Boltkittenhood. The scent absorbs in all his scent-glands until he finally remembers what it was. Deaser!...
''Hello?!'' Asher meowed, knowing his half-brother is nearby. ''Asher?'' Deaser emerged from within the bushes, his robotic voice the same as when he was a Boltkitten. ''What are you doing so far from the pack?" He exclaimed, looking at the Boltcat
''I belong to a witch now.''
''I'm so glad to see you Asher, I need help-'' Deaser explained an evil Necromancer was troubling him. Asher, happy to help, followed Deaser.
...''Here is the cave.'' Deaser led Asher to an encapsulated dark abyss that looked very much like the Caveling's lair. ''He's in here, and his name is Neo.'' ... ''We got this.'' Asher assured him. And once the two Boltcat's stepped inside, it was too late...
''There he is.'' Deaser's voice was trembling, he got in a battle ready position, while Asher just charged straight for the Necromancer.
And there Neo stood, his hair was as red as fire itself, and he drew magick from the shadowy darkness. ''Two Boltcats.'' The Necromancer taunted. From the power of his staff he hurled a mass of shadowy darkness at Asher, which temporarily knocked him off ground. The difference between a sorcerer and a necromancer, was that a necromancer could rely on the help of Phantoms. Deaser was quick to attack, for fear Neo would get help from the Shadowrealm. ''Grrrrrrrr.'' Asher sounded his battle cry, clawing at Neo's shoulder. ''Off me!'' The Necromancer shouted. He casted all his shadowy magick on the ground, and grabbed Deaser by the scruff, with all his force Neo threw him up against the cave well.
Weak and unable to move, he lay still. ''Finish him Asher.'' Deaser pleaded.
Asher felt a pang in his heart, but he hurled himself at the Necromancer. ''Keep him in the light, he can teleport in the shadows.'' Deaser yelled. Asher was viciously biting and clawing at Neo, the Necromancer fell dead. What used to be Neo, turned into shadows.
