"That is a huge problem, you need to get out of here now, it may not be able to possess you now, but once your captured is another thing entirely, or rather once you dead since that seems like their goal." Voltanuc's voice echoed in my head and I mentally nodded before quickly turning around and drawing on his power.

Moving as fast as lightning, the scenery flew by me and I headed north to the battle tower, not even I could take down 2 legendaries and one opponent of unknown strength enhanced by the Darkness.

I made it to the battle tower near-instantaneously and zipped up to the top looking at the sight in the distance. Eternatus had turned toward the tower and started flying towards me with the two legendaries as an advance guard. Then I noticed something as she advanced, she left everything a frozen wasteland behind her, everything behind her was wrecked and toppled over in addition to frozen over as well.

"Ah, it seems we've figured out what Empress Altair has, the Empress of Ice and Psychic. It's sad to see my little sister like this"

"Little Sister? I thought you beings didn't really understand such concepts?"

"We didn't, but we thought it best to learn and then apply what we learned, and so, by the way, we treated each other and such, we decided that some of us were siblings to each other. In any case, shouldn't you be focusing on dealing with her?"

"You say that, but how am I supposed to deal with this? I don't have anything that counters Ice nor Psychic powers. Especially with those two pokemon and the monster, if only I hadn't recovered just yesterday." I muttered to myself and tried to think of ways I could beat the team of 4 before laughing at my pitiful self, all my plans had essentially backfired at me.

The Champion and Former Champion were incapacitated due to me, and even if the Champion had woken up, both he and his friend were probably encased in Ice or dead. I didn't want to kill the legendaries either, as they would be invaluable assets in fighting the Darkness to some extent.

"Voltanuc, could you regain control of your sister if I were to assassinate Altair?"

"I could but without any vessel to put her in, she would most likely be recaptured or disappear altogether from lack of a temporary energy source." 

"Tch, what a problem, a vessel eh?  Can it be a pokemon?"

"It would be most preferably a human, but a pokemon of sufficient power and of at least the same type would also be enough temporarily, though, I can't guarantee the wellbeing of Princess."

"So you saw right through me huh, at this rate the entire Galar region will become a dead wasteland. Wait... That's it! This is really risky but might be our only shot. I am going to summon you and Dynamax you!" 

"You're going to what!?! Do you know how crazy that is? "

"I know the risk but we have to try."

I lept down from the tower and went inside the tower, rushing to the stairs and dashing down them into the basement. 

After forcibly opening the door I rushed into the reactor room, where the largest wishing star in Galar history lay, pulsing with Dynamax Power.

"Go! Voltanuc!"I yelled before manifesting Voltanuc and sending him straight into contact with the star.

"Get me outside before I wreck the place."

Upon hearing that, I jumped up and grabbed him by the arm before speeding straight outside and tossing him in the path of Eternatus.

Not soon after his figure grew and grew and grew, to be bigger than the battle tower. A storm brewed overhead with thunder sounding and lightning striking everywhere. Zacian and Zamazenta charged with Behemoth Sword and Bash respectively before getting swatted away like flies and thrown into the frozen and wrecked buildings.

"Voltanuc! Use Judgement Bolt!" I called out to him and he let out something resembling a yes before letting out a roar that shook the earth and a vortex formed in the clouds above Eternatus. The being, obviously feeling threatened, charged, and shot a purple beam straight at Voltanuc. Both attacks hit simultaneously, with Eternatus being engulfed in a beam of yellow and the purple beam it shot reflecting and bending around Voltanuc.

"Tch, looks like Altair utilized her power to block some of the attack, if this goes on then Galar will be doomed. Scratch that, 90% of Galar is already a frozen destroyed wasteland" I whispered to myself as I clenched my fists. 

"Condensed Sniper, aim for Altair" I mentally ordered as I kept an eye on Eternatus

Voltanuc raised a finger at Altair and a split second later, a thin yellow beam shot out and hit her, or at least it almost made direct contact if not for her shielding.

As the smoke cleared, the faint purple glow of a barrier dispersed as well, however since the attack caused an explosion, Eternatus was unable to shield itself and now gently crashed into the frozen rubble below.

"Voltanuc, shrink back down!" I called out and not soon after, Voltanuc had shrunk back to his normal size.

"Let's get ready to engage, she has already made her intentions clear," I said and Voltanuc nodded before we looked back to Altair and she summoned a giant array of ice shards and launched them at us. Voltanuc and I both put up shields to block and I summoned a submachine gun with paralysis bullets before spraying straight at her.

She used her Psychic power to stop them before they could reach her but in the split second her mind was occupied with doing that, Voltanuc had dashed straight in from of her and was bringing down a Velocity Blade on her arm. It also would've hit, if not for the pillar of ice that shot out of the ground and encased the sword and brought Voltanuc into the air.

Seeing that, Ash shot even more while advancing with his shield towards Altair, the bullets would paralyze her if they hit but that wasn't his objective, he knew that on his own, he wouldn't be able to do much so he left it up to Voltanuc to do damage while he simply was a distraction that she couldn't get rid of.

Altair looked slightly annoyed and condensed a bunch of ice into a single giant spear and launched it at Ash, propelling it with her powers, Ash didn't have time to think of a counter and it made a hard impact on his shield, blowing him several meters backward with the sheer force.

Voltanuc had broken free and seeing this, Ash summoned his whips and sent them all at Altair each one coming from a different angle, and while Voltanuc dropped on onto her with Void Cutter.

Void Cutter was special in the sense that the damage wasn't physical, but mental, it made the target experience sudden death which made the body shut down for a second and lose all concentration.

So Void Cutter hit and after that Voltanuc fused back with Ash as Ash dashed straight up to Altair and used Crackling Shadow, and dual element move meant to kill, but could be used to disable. Altair however, showed faster recovery and reflexes and brought up a counter using Frost Force which blew both of them back again.

I summoned the sword Thunder Armament and used Thunder Hunter, which sent three black wolves made of electricity that began an assault of Altair, while I also decided to close the gap with Thunderclap while changing my weapon to a Guandao. The blade of the Guandao was 2 feet long, half a foot thick, and was pitch black, crackling with electricity. It was mounted atop a 5 ft black pole with red engravings on it and also had a pointed black counterweight for striking using the opposite side. 

I charged in with a thrust and she parried me with a blade made of frost, I stepped back a bit and let the dogs close in before attacking in tandem, with a series of slashes and thrusts, slowly forcing her back, I could tell something was off as an invisible force made me miss yet another attack. She was using her power to supplement her lack of sword skill and using ice to keep the hounds at bay but seeing as they were made of lightning, they moved at such speeds as well and were soon able to land a hit on her. 

The gnawed into her a bit and she made the first display of emotion I had seen from her, which was a face contorted in pain and the electricity from the bite shocked her, I charged in again with more slashes this time enhancing my body with the power to strike at fast as lightning. 

She was being pushed back farther and farther with each slash and thrust I made, it looks like she couldn't keep up with my movement, but I was moving at about 1/3 the speed of light. I dug the Guandao into the ground before pivoting and delivering a Tiger Feint Kick, shattering her weapon while I picked up mine and slashed at her, sending her flying back into the rubble of a building.

"Time to end this." I flatly stated before separating me and Voltanuc and ordering him to use the D.R.A.G System.

8 black spikes shot out from Voltanuc's back and floated in the air for a second before flying at Altair, who was just getting up, Voltanuc also jumped forward and the 8 spikes shot 8 black beams at Altair who tried to block, keyword being tried because they went straight through her barrier like a hot knife through butter, hitting her in 8 different places and effectively K.O'ing her.

The D.R.A.G System spikes were made of hardened darkness, giving them a crystal-like appearance and they were controlled by a thin electric thread attached to Voltanuc's Guandao, which meant her had to keep moving to use it but it meant the Voltanuc itself could also attack while controlling them.  In terms of how they worked, each one was a Railgun which fired very condensed, potent, and hardened electricity. They were super thin, explosive, and powerful, making them the perfect barrier piercing weapon.

Ash collapsed a few moments later, falling to a knee and trying to stead his breathing.

"Damn, that last one was really my limit on manifesting you, huh, speaking of which, how did I even know what moves to call out?" 

"Oh, I just provided you with some of my moveset, on a side note, what should we do with Altair, in fact, we need to get out of here ASAP, authorities from all over the world should be coming soon." Voltanuc chided and I thought of my options, I couldn't just get up and run now per se, and Altair couldn't just be let go...

I slowly got up and caught Eternatus, Zacian, and Zamazenta in ultra balls, I was able to do so because they were knocked out and their poke balls were destroyed while the owners were dead. After catching them I made my way to Altair, who was still knocked out and looked her over, she had received some wounds that would prevent her ability to move her arms and legs for a few days but otherwise, she would live.

I debated for a second with Voltanuc, but being in debt to him anyway, I agreed with his request to take her with me, under the condition that until we freed her of the Darkness, she would be essentially kept unconscious. After securing her in some aura handcuffs, I hoisted her over my shoulder and headed back toward the battle tower to find some shelter and rest, the relief efforts probably wouldn't question identities and such in this crisis so I should be fine.

As I approached the battle tower I was struck with dizziness and completely gained from exhaustion right outside the doors when I heard a girl shout something.
