Old Drawings And New Drawings of the characters(Unfinished)

The title says unfinished because neither drawings are colored.

The oldest drawing of Ashaya, it is at least a year or two old...maybe more...maybe even three or four...it also had some old characters from another two different stories. The story behind all three of them, is they are kind of the same person but in different universes, like different incarnations of the same person. I think this actually was like my first version or the first inspiration, of the concept of Violet of EarthSea(who travels to different worlds and in each she is a different version of herself) wow. That is amazing..

Fog was an owl character I created around the time I had read Guardians of Ga'hoole (so at least four or five years ago), and Violet (full name Violet Foge) is almost like, or similar to, and based off of an Animagus from Harry Potter, so she is a wizard or a mage that can shapeshift into a wolf form. (Though I don't think their backstories might be relevant to this book itself). And the fox, Ashaya in this drawing is a bit different, one my drawing skills back then weren't as good; two, Ashaya is shown with a tear in her ear though in this book she hasn't been described with that detail. I believe that I might have originally planned an event to happen which causes her to have a tear in the ear...maybe it hasn't happened to the character yet, or I had completely scraped the idea..

And here is the most recent drawing, it is of Ashaya, Kiara, Feri, and Alisha(in that order, Ashaya to the far left, Kiara in the center, Feri next to her, and Alisha is the fox that is slightly smaller, but with more a bushier, and more fluffy tail compared to the others.)

And like the other drawing this one isn't colored. But sometime I shall color it. This drawing I have been working on sense a I actually started writing this book.. A little before October 2018... Actually maybe even before May 30th 2018, sense one of my first comments was from that date..

I like this one better, because of the details, and how it is drawn. In the first drawing I had done, Ashaya's body is drawn really squished, but in this one she is better proportioned and it shows how I have improved as an artist. Though I have to admit, I think I drew Kiara and Alisha the best, Alisha is full of character, her open mouth in a smile shows how joyful she can be, and her bushy tail helps her stand out amongst the others. And I like the power in Kiara's look, and how she stares majestically right at the viewer, as if she is looking into your soul.

But back to Ashaya, I am concerned about how I have developed her as a character, to me there is almost an uncertainty about her (when I read my writing), like either I am unsure how she is, or that she is hiding her character... What do you readers think about her? If you have read the story so far, I would like to know how I could improve. Feedback can always be good.

Sorry about the long rant, I needed to have a discussion about the art and about my book, it just helps me.

Well those are the pictures of the characters, and soon or later, at some point I will update this chapter with the more recent photos. But for now these are the drawings.

Thank you for reading I hope you have a great day.
