(The Clown in Love)

It was the biggest auditorium in the city.The colourful lights and balloons welcomed the audience into the circus.The arrived audience enjoyed every performance that was performed by the acrobats,, trained animals, trapeze acts, musicians, hoopers, tightrope walkers and other artists.

A man in six feet entered the auditorium from the screens behind.The audience clapped their hands when the funny background music played for his entry.

He was wearing a multi colour curly hair wig and a yellow cap on his head.He was wearing a multi colour bishop sleeved full loose fit costume.It has purple colour on the frills on the neck and his sleeves.Right half of the dress was red and the left half was yellow and two purple buttons in the middle line.He was wearing a red and yellow shoes which was very big to his already big feet.

His face was makeovered with white paint and while his lips and around his eyes had painted in red colour.His beautiful eyes held more pain but the smile on his lips hid it successfully.

His hands which was covered with white gloves had three balls.He threw the balls up in the air and started juggling.

(Juggling-to keep three or more objects such as balls in the air at the same time by throwing them one at a time and catching them quickly.)

Everyone laughed when he missed the match and the balls fell on his head.But when the time passed with the clown's other stunts there was pure silence and no laughs were heard.

'Clowns lam ippo munna maari illala?'

'Ippolam clowns out of fashion aayitaanga..'

'Sirippe vara maatikudhu'

'Uggggh bore!'

'Enaku andha clown ah paathale bayam ah iruku'

They all sighed when they found the clown bored and the comments they made were loud enough.But still the clown maintained the big smiling face while his eyes filled with tears.

'Bore uhhhh..',a guy in the front row threw a paper ball on the clown's face.He picked the paper ball in his hands and left the stage when his time was over.

'Ippolam clowns ah yaarume enjoy panradhilla...I think we are wasting time..',one of the circus organizer said.
'Paapom...Adutha show ku paathu pannikalam..', another one said which was heard by Britto.

A lone tear escaped his eyes as he was wiping his make up.His eyes were blood shot and the soft eyes turned dark when his eyes met his own reflection in the mirror.

'Vandhadhuku 1000 ruva dhandam..oru clown,naalu animals thavira onnum illa Inga..Naa sonna padathukaavadhu poirukalam..',the same guy who throw the paper on him said to his girlfriend.
'Vidu..',she sighed.

'Seri nee poo naa washroom use pannitu varen', he said and she nodded leaving him.

The guy walked towards the washroom but all the while he felt someone following him.He looked around but no one was there.As it was late night he could found no one.

He used the washroom and came out to wash his hands.He was washing his hands while he felt someone breath on him.He turned back and found no one was there.He sighed and again he was about to close the flowing pipe again he felt a breath on his shoulder.He turned back and found no one again but his breath hitched when his eyes fell on the mirror.

'Hello',he saw Britto standing behind him and the next minute the guy's head got hit by the iron rod.

He opened his eyes and found he was there in some dark place.His hands and legs were tied and his mouth was tied.He saw Britto was there sitting with a sharp knife neat him.

'Shhh..Semma sharp..',he sighed and turned towards the guy.
'Hello my dear friend...You find clowns boring?',he asked with a evil smirk on his face and the guy nodded horizontally in fear.

Britto's laugh echoed around the place and the next minute his deep brown eyes turned scary!
'Clowns can be horror too!'

The next minute the knife in Britto's hand was stabbed on his neck!

'Pleaseeee!!Mr.Assistant commisioner sir Please naan poitu varene!!!',
'Unna po venaamnu sollala,class ah cut pannitu pogaadha nu dha solren..',he said making the opposite person sigh.

'Please please please please please please please...',the opposite person whined.
'Seri bathrama poitu vaa..',he gave in and he felt her smiling in the call.
'Thank youuuuu...Byee officer..',she gave a kiss in the call and declined the call and he chuckled looking at the phone.

'Sir,May I come in',he heard someone and kept his phone and called him in.

'Sir!',the man saluted him.
'Sollunga Pradeep?Enna vishayam?',he asked.
'Sir,again oru missing case..Idhu indha maasathoda 3rd missing case sir..But as usual endha clue um illa..',Pradeep said.

'Idhu enna concept ne kandupudika mudiyalaye Pradeep..Endha particular order um illa,verum kadathal ah illa kola um ah nu therila..Adhu yepdi kadathuravan oru clue kooda va vittutu poga maatan?',he sighed.

'Ashwin sir,Enakennamo idhu verum missing case nu mattum thonala..There is some one behind everything..Morning namma troop poi anga visaarichurukaanga sir but no clue..',Pradeep said.

'Oruthar num nammalala confirm panna mudiyaadhu Pradeep..Visaaricha dha unmai theriyum..(sighs)Serii ippo yenga kaanama poirukaanga?',Ashwin asked.

'Sir,AG circus!'

'Sivaangi why are you so excited?Inga vandhadhuku oru nalla movie oh, illa engeyavadhu shopping kooda poirukalam.. What is so fond about Circus and clowns nu enaku suthama purila..',Preetha sighed.

'Hey unakke theriyum I love circus!And clowns they are something special di..Manasula evlo kavalai irundhaalum mathavangala sirika vekkiradhu its not easy theriyuma..Nee paaru unaku kandippa pudikum...',Sivaangi said leaning on her chair comfortably while Preetha sighed.

And it was the turn of Britto to enter the stage.When the background music played none of them clapped except Sivaangi.

Britto came there in his small cycle which made Sivaangi laugh so hard.She enjoyed every act of him and her clap was the loudest among the crowd which caught everyone 's attention and Britto's too.

His eyes fell on the petite figure who was clapping her hands like a fan girl.He could see her eyes sparkling every moment and her lips remained curved.Her face was more angelic and innocent yet very beautiful.

His turn was over and Britto was sent back to his room.He was constantly thinking about her.He smiled after a long.In his past thirty years he has literally forgot the true meaning of smile, even though he always smile as a clown but after years he smiled as a human.

He removed his cap and wig and thats when he heard a door knock.
'Yaara irukum..',he thought and opened the door and gasped when he saw the same girl standing there with her beautiful smile.

'Hii Britto..Naan iniku vandha one of the audience..And your performance was too good!Romba rasichen..',she appreciated when his heart skipped a beat.

Her eyes met the beautiful deep set eyes of him.All the while Sivaangi deeply analysed him.Even though he was constantly smiling,she never saw his smile reaching his eyes but for a second when she said those words his smiled reached his eyes which gave Sivaangi an enormous joy.

On the other hand Britto was in cloud nine.No one has ever appreciated him like this in thirty years and in this twenty years of his clown life.

'You're so talented!Loved your show..', Sivaangi forwarded her hand and Britto saw her and her hand.
'Hmm kai kudunga..',she said and he held her hand.The moment he held her hand,he felt a current pass all over his body.She withdrew her hand and he smiled.

'Apro..',before she could finish her mobile rang and it was from Preetha.
'Excuse me..',she picked the call.
'Idho di..Vandhute iruken nee wait pannu...two minutes ',she declined the call.
'Seri nga enaku time aachu..Varen..Byee..',Sivaangi moved bidding bye to him while Britto was looking at her disappearing figure.

If he had the power of freezing moments he would have froze the moment with her.

Britto smiled which exposed his dimple, rubbing his nape.
'Britto!Unna organizers koopdraanga..',someone said and Britto nodded and left from there without removing his make up.

'Sir,idhaan andha circus',Pradeep said.
'Serii,Yethana naala nadandhutu iruku idhu?',Ashwin asked.
'It was actually running for the past twenty years sir..Nethu complaint pannavanga inga dha last ah vandhutu,washroom ponavaru thirumba varalanu sonnaaanga.. We've searched there but we could not find anything sir.',Pradeep said.

'Washroom?Seri first namma andha organizers ah meet panlam..',Ashwin said and they saw the organizers were discussing something with Britto.

Britto's eyes met Ashwin and Pradeep who were wearing masks and coolers.
'Ashwin Kumar and Pradeep sai from the police department..',Pradeep said and the organizers stood up.
'Sollunga sir edhavadhu problem ah?',one of the organiser asked.

'Nethu unga circus ku vandha oruthar missing..Adhaan visaarikalamnu vandhurukom..Please co operate with us',Pradeep said.
'Seri Britto,nee po',Soon Britto left from there.His heart twisted in panick for a second but he successfully hid it.He sighed in relief as he knew that no one could find the guy's whereabouts and left from there.

Soon Ashwin and Pradeep removed the mask.
'Sir adhaan kaalaila vandhu visaaricheengale..',the organiser asked.
'Yes, edhavadhu clue engaluku may be kedaikalam nu dhan we are here..',Pradeep said.

'Andha washroom ah naan paakanum',Ashwin said and they all moved to the washroom.

They visited the washroom but they could not find any clue.
'Enna sir idhu?',Pradeep sighed.
'Pradeep oru vishayam gavanicheengala?Inga oru chemical scent smell ungaluku varala?',Ashwin said.

'Aama sir,Andha kidnapper or killer avanga vaasanaiya namma team dogs recognise panna koodadhu nu use pannirukaanga,right?',Pradeep asked.
'Exactly,Enaku ennamo idhu neenga sonna maadhiri ore aala irukumo nu oru chinna doubt varudhu..',Ashwin said.

'Reason sir?',Pradeep asked.

'Lets see Pradeep,evlo naal namma kannula irundhu thappikiraanganu paapom..CCTV ellaam check panningala?',Ashwin asked.

'Illa sir,Almost two months ku melaya avanga cctv damage aayiruku,so footages edhuvum illa..',Pradeep said.

Britto was lying on his bed and looking at the ceiling.He was constantly smiling thinking about the girl who has appreciated him for the first time.

Britto was suffering from insomania for a very long time but thinking about her he slowly fell asleep after a very long time.

'Paati,Ippo vali irukaa?',Sivaangi asked the old lady who was sitting on the bed.
'Adhellam illa da ma..Maharasi un kai pattu ellaam parandhu pochu..',she said patting her cheek.

'Romba thanks ma,evlovo physiotherapists ah consult pannom, but endha positive results um illa..',the old lady's son said.

'Sivu,Next patient vandhurukaangalam doctor unna kooptaanga',Preetha informed and Sivaangi nodded.

'Sivaangi can you take care of the next patient as well?Unna tired aakanumnu naan sollala,unaku practice aagum and for sure you can handle a clinic idhuku aprom...',the senior doctor said.

Sivaangi looked at the x-rays and the patients details.
'Britto?Yengeyo keta peru maadhiri iruke..',Sivaangi thought and when her eyes fell on him,she gasped in shock.

'Neenga..',Sivaangi frowned.
'Namma circus la paathom...',Britto managed to say pushing away the butterflies that he felt around.
'Yeahh...Hmmm..',she nodded and Britto didn't fail to notice the shock in her face.

'Ennaachu?',he asked.
'Haa haa..Nothing vaanga..',Sivaangi took him in.

'Enga pain iruku?', Sivaangi asked.
'Inga..', Britto pointed his heart.
'Haan?',she asked.
'Inga..',he touched his shoulder and she nodded.

'Naa thodren,enga exact ah valikudhu nu sollunga..',Sivaangi touched his shoulder which made Britto's heartbeat increase in a second.
'Ingeya?',Sivaangi asked and he nodded without looking at her.

'Seriii.. Yepdi poi vizhundheenga...?', Sivaangi asked.
'Adhu..Stunt.. Practice..',he gulped.
'Chill ah irunga,relax!Yen ivlo tension?Ena paatha bayama irukaa enna?',Sivaangi asked and he quickly nodded a no which made Sivaangi chuckle.

'Seri shirt kalattunga..',she said and his eyes literally popped out from his eyelids.
'Illa illa.. Ipdiye pannunga..',he said.
'Apdiye ellaam panna mudiyaadhu nga..Wait naane kalaturen..',she said and started removing his shirt buttons while his gaze was fixed on her.

He was looking at her too close.Her focusing beautiful eyes, pointing nose, soft lips and the hair strands that was resting on her forehead.Her lavender scent has sent a shiver to his spine.

'Avlodhan..Idhuku poi..',she chuckled and started applying the balm.
'Aama onnu kekata?', Sivaangi asked.
'Kelunga..',he replied.
'Britto ndradhu unga unmaiyana pera?',she asked and he nodded horizontally.

'Adhu circus la vecha peru..',he replied.
'Appo unga unmaiyana name?', she asked.
'Adhu...',Sivaangi saw him hesitating.
'Cool cool,ungaluku comfortable ah illana solla venaam.. Actually Britto name is cute..',she said and his heart fluttered.

'Shh..',he hissed and Sivaangi slowed down.
'Sorry sorry..Neenga edhavadhu pesunga apoo pain theriyaadhu..', Sivaangi said.
'Enna pesuradhu?',he asked.
'Yedhavadhu..Ungala pathi,unga family,friends,school,college life andha maadhiri..',Sivaangi said and Britto smirked sadly.

'Apdilam yaarum illa..Enoda pathu vayasu la irundhu naan circus la dhan iruken..Friends family ellaa illa..',he said and Sivaangi felt bad for him.
'Friend illaya?Yaaru sonnaa?',Sivaangi asked and he looked at her.

'Inime naan unga friend!Okay ah?',she asked and he remained silent.
'Yen ennalam friend ah yethuka maatingala hmm?',Sivaangi asked.
'Apdi illa..Aana neenga doctor..Naa oru saadharna circus la vela seira clown..',he said and she nodded horizontally.

'Mansuku adhellam thevaiyae illa nga..and en profession ah vida unga profession endha vidhathulayu koranjadhu illa..', Sivaangi smiled and Britto smiled back.
'Appo friends?',she forwarded her hand.

He looked at the kind soul infront of him.It was a new feel he ever felt.He shooked his hand with her.
'Im Sivaangi, Physiotherapist and Britto oda friend!',she said and he chuckled.

'Seri appo time aachu naan kelamburen..',he said looking at everywhere but not her.
'Serii, konjam rest eduthutu practice pannunga..',Sivaangi said and he nodded.
'Seri..Aprom Paapom..',Britto moved from there and Sivaangi was looking at his disappearing figure.

'Enna Sivu yedho yosichutu iruka?', Preetha asked.
'Illa di, just thinking about God's creations..'.

'Yenga di iruka?',Ashwin sighed.
'Two minutes Ashwin ey..Pakkathula vandhute..',Sivaangi said.
'Aama...Unaku late ah varadhe eppa paaru pozhappa pochu..',he rolled his eyes.
'Vandhute vandhute...', Sivaangi declined the call and he sighed at the waves.

Suddenly two arms wrapped his waist and he knew who's touch it is.
'Sivaangi maa..',he pulled her hand and made her stand infront of him.
'Ashwin eyy!!Missed you so much..',she said.
'Naanum dhan ma..',he said and tugged the hair strands behind her earlobe.

'Vaa konjam ukkaarlam..', they both settled on the beach sand and Sivaangi leaned on his shoulder.
'Ennaachu?',he asked.
'Onnum illa,summa konja neram ipdiye irukken..',she said and his lips curved.
'Serii..',he rested his head on her head.

'One week aachu unna paathu,unkooda time spent panni..',he said.
'Velai velai nu sutheetu irundha apdi dhan..Lover nu oruthi irukaandra nyabagam irundha dhana..',she mumbled sighing.
'Maa..You know about my job..Naan enna pannatum?',he asked and she nodded.

'Naa enna fm radio va keta apola paada?',she asked making him chuckle.
'Ennoda personal fm!!',he said making her blush.

'Yedhavadhu ipdi pesiye kovuthuru..',Sivaangi said and he chuckled.

She entwined her fingers with him.He smiled and they sung together.

But Ashwin's phone call ruined their moment.

'Iru ma one minute..',he picked the call.
'Sollunga Pradeep'
'Sir andha missing case pathi visaarika IG vandhurukaanga..Neenga konjam vara mudiyuma?',Pradeep asked.
'Seri,naa oru twenty minutes la anga irupen..',Ashwin declined the call and gave her apologetic look.

'Maa.. Phone call.. Office uh..'he smiled sheepishly and she got up huffing and pushing him.
'Ponga ponga..Velaiye katteetu azhunga..',she pouted her lips.
'Beach la irukom Sivaangi,dont make it hard for me..',he sighed making her blush inwardly but she still maintained the straight face.

'Ungala yaaru control panna sonnaa?', she asked.
'Adhukunu ingeye naa unna kiss pannata?',he asked.
'Pannunga..',she said.
'Hmmm Yedhuku naalike news la varum,Nadu beach la Assistant commisioner Ashwin Kumar oru pennai muthamittaar nu news la podava?',he asked.

'Adhu unga paadu..',she turned her face aside and Ashwin held her chin and made him face her,'Enna paaru ma'
'I equally miss you,aana velai irukku..',he said.
'Appo kalyanam pannikalam seekram..',she said.
'Madam first padichu mudinga.. Periya physiotherapist aagunga..Aprom panlam..',he pulled her nose.

'Po Ashwin ey..Naan kalyanam pannitu venaa padikava?',she asked and he chuckled.
'Un career ku distractions iruka venaam ma..Innoru six months dhana.. We'll wait..',he said and she nodded.

'Serii appo naan kelambata?',he asked.
'Hmmm..',she nodded sadly.
'Sivaangi ma..Please siri..',he said and she smiled a little at him.
'Seri varen..',he patted her head and left.

'Aiyayoo..Avarta Britto va pathi solla marandhutome..Seri sollikalam..',she sighed at his disappearing figure and left from there.

'Mam!',Ashwin saluted the IG.
'Yes Ashwin, case endha level la iruku?',she asked.

'Mam 3 missing case,adhula engaluku endha clue um perusa kedaikala mam...Aana common ah oru vishayam iruku chemical scent..Kandippa gloves, socks use panraanga finger prints padiyaama iruka,Moonu edamume aalunga nadamaadra edam dha so particular ah namma yaaraiyume point out panna mudiyaadhu..It can be a gang or a solo man or woman.Thedite irukom mam..',he said.

'Thedite irukeengala? Yeppo kandupudipeenga?',IG asked.
'As soon as possible mam.. Yedhavadhu oru chinna clue kedachuta kooda vitra maaten..', Ashwin said.
'Seekram!',IG said and Ashwim moved from there saluting her.

Britto was there, eating alone in the near by restaurant.His eyes roamed through the family and friends who were eating together and a sigh left his lips.He always yearned for love, family,friends but he wasn't lucky enough for all these.

He finished eating and was walking to wash his hands but he accidentally dashed on someone.
'Sorry..',he said but the guy pushed him by Britto's chest.
'Ennaa?Vandhu idichutu sorry sollita ellaa seri aayidum ah?',the guy asked.

'Adhaan sorry solren la..Thallunga..',Britto was about to move but the guy blocked his way.
'Deii..Nee andha comali paiyan dhana?Pakkathu circus la?',he laughed when everyone's attention was at them.

'Oru circus comali ku enna da avlo thimiru?Vandhu idichutu sorry aam sorry peh..',the guy moved from there and Britto's eyes got darkened.

'Sir oru vaaram dha aagirukku adhukulla oru missing case again..',Pradeep sighed frustratedly.
'Idhu avaroda mechanic shed ah?',Ashwin asked.

'Aama sir,Pakkathula irukura hotel poi saptutu,thirumba vandhu kadaila vela seira pasangala veetuku poga sollirukaru..Aana avaru night veetuku pogala...'Pradeep said and Ashwin looked around the place.

'Enakennamo andha circus la dhan yedho seri illanu thonudhu..Miss aanadhellame oru twenty kilometres kulla dhan...And centre point andha circus...',Ashwin said.

'Circus laya?Namma dha anga visaarichome sir..',Pradeep said.
'Hmm..',Ashwin nodded and he received a call from Sivaangi.
'Sollu ma',he picked the call.
'Ashwin ey,Free ah?',she asked.

'Illa ma,konjam investigation process la iruken, Anything important?',Ashwin asked.
'Illa pa,Naa aniku ponela AG Circus..Anga polamnu nenache adhaan una koopten,seri naa poikire..',Sivaangi said.

'Angeya?Anga yedhuku?',Ashwin asked.
'Sollave marandhute ma,anga enaku oru pudhu friend kedachurukaan.. Adhaan meet panna poren',she said.
'Serii,Paathu po..',Ashwin bidded bye to her and declined the call.

'Ellaam seekrame theriya varum..'

Sivaangi hopped like a bunny inside the circus.
'Hii Brittoo!!!',Sivaangi came into his room to find Britto sitting silently.He saw her and smiled.
'Enna pa show ku ready aagala?',Sivaangi asked.
'Illa.. Enaku...Show illa iniku..', Britto said with a little smile.

She decided to lift his mood and so her eyes roamed around the room so that she could find any point to make him cheer.
Her eyes fell on his books and her lips curved upside down in amusement.
'Nee ivlo books padipiya?',Sivaangi asked taking on of the book.
'Paah Organic chemistry...Enna ellaam ore chemistry book ah iruku...',she said.

'Enaku chemistry pudikum..',he said and she nodded.
'Seriii.. Engeyavadhu veliya polaama?', Sivaangi asked.
'Ippova?',Britto asked.

'Aama ippodhan...', she said.
'Illa.. Management..',he said and she sighed.
'Ada vaa paa...',Sivaangi pulled him and walked out.

'Idhulaya?!',Britto asked and she shrugged sitting on her two wheeler.
He gulped and looked at her.
'Kavalaiye venaam!Naa nalla vandi otuven!Bayapadaama ukkaaru..',she said and he sat behind her.

'Polaama?', Sivaangi asked and he nodded with a hum.
All the while Sivaangi was talking he was listening to all her rantings.He was sitting with a comfortable distance and his hands were on the back of the scooter.

But when she applied a sudden break,his hands held her shoulder.
'Paathu..',he said.
'Illa illa..Adhu vandi mela dha fault uh..',she said making him chuckle.He was about to take his hands but his heart didn't allow him.She took scooter and he gripped her shoulder for the balance.

'Beach polaama?Enaku anga poga romba pudikum..',Britto said and Sivaangi smiled.
'Hmmm ketiye vaaya thorandhu ippovaachu,polaam..', Sivaangi took him to the beach and they started walking.

'Heyyyyy anga paaru Ice cream uhh..Vaa vaa...',she held his arm and took him near the ice cream vendor.
'Anna enaku oru chocobar, unaku?',she asked Britto.
'Enakum..',he said.
'Anna appo rendu kuduthurunga..',

They both received their ice creams and sat on the sand.They finished eating their icecreams soon and was talking randomly.

'Heyy oru selfie eduppoma?',Sivaangi asked and he nodded.He took her mobile out and turned on the selfie camera.
'Pakkathula va..',Sivaangi pulled him closer holding his arm and Britto smiled with a tint of blush.She captured the picture and saw him looking at her.

Britto could not tell how much happy he's now.He felt all the words has disappeared for him to speak.He felt content.He felt loved.Someone was asking him choice like what he wants,someone has taken him to the place where he wants.Without his knowledge he started falling for Sivaangi.

'Oii!',his trance broke when Sivaangi snapped at him.

She took her earphones out and plugged in her mobile.

They swayed their head for the music,they laughed,they talked more.After spending sometime Sivaangi dropped him at the circus.

Sivaangi reached home and her phone rang..She ran into her room with the phone not listening to her mom's shoutings.

'Naanu ippodhan..Ashwin ey naan sonnenla enaku friend kedaachanu avana mattu nee meet panna semma shock aayiduva theriyuma!Aana avan romba paavam Ashwin ey..',she said.

'Paavam ah?',he asked.
'Aama neraya sonnaan.. Iniku naanga beach ponom,ice cream saptom..Aana avanuku yaarume illanu romba feel pannaan..Namma rendu perum avanuku yeppavume irukanum..Seriya?',Sivaangi asked and Ashwin smiled at her loving nature.
'Serii ma yeppavume irupom..',he said.

'Aana avan romba padips pola Ashwin ey..Neraya books vechurukaan,adhuvum ellaam chemistry books..Namakum chemistry kum dhaa aagadhe adhaan naan perusa paakala adha..', Sivaangi said and the word "Chemistry" caught Ashwin's attention.

'Chemistry ah?',he asked.

'Nerla vandhu sollatuma?',he asked.
'Nerla vandhaa nee sollitaa irupa?',she asked making him chuckle.

'Romba..',he said.
'Naanum..',she said.
'Seri saptiya?',Ashwin asked.
'Illa Ashwin ey,Nee saptiya?',she asked.

'Ahnn..Olunga poi sapdu naanum poi sapdren..Night koopdava?',Sivaangi asked.
'Serii..',he said.
'Serii Ashwin ey..Tata un mamiyar romba nerama enna kooptutu irukaanga..Vekkiren..',Sivaangi declined the call and he chuckled.

'Chemistry?Am I putting Sivaangi into risk?Avaluku yedhum aachuna..',Ashwin's mind was clouded with many thoughts.

Days passed and Britto was in madly in love with Sivaangi.He loved everything about her.They hung out many times and Sivaangi visited him regularly.The inner demon in him was long lost due to her presence.

They spent more time while Ashwin and Sivaangi was growing more in love.Ashwin didn't feel well whenever she talks about Britto,he felt an unease.He knew about Sivaangi and definitely it wasn't possesiveness but he felt a sense of danger.

Now Sivaangi has came to meet Britto as usual.They spent sometime and it was Sivaangi's turn to leave.
'Naaliku en birthday Britto!',Sivaangi said.

He pushed all his thoughts away and decided to propose her.He soon slept and the morning dawned very soon then usual to him.After finishing all his shows,he started getting ready to meet Sivaangi.He took the shirt that Sivaangi has bought for him recently and worn it with a happy smile on his face.He was very happy, excited.

It was a cream colour shirt paired with ivory colour pants.He tucked in his shirt and combed his hair and beard neatly.He took the chocolates and the bouquet and went to the same beach where they usually meet.

He saw and stunned when he saw Sivaangi was wearing a pink soft material saree with a matching blouse.She was looking like the epitome of beauty.She has left hair free and her earring was dancing according to the breeze's beat.She left her neck empty and her saree's pallu was left in one fleet.

She turned towards him and waved at him.Her kohled doe eyes,her red button nose and her pink glossy lips took all his breath away.
He walked towards her with a smile and handovered the bouquet to her.
'Happy Birthday Sivaangi..',he said.
'Thank youuu...',she received the bouquet.

'Ashwin ey yenga pa iruka?',she asked.
'Pinnaadi paarunga madam..',he said and she turned back to see Ashwin walking towards her.
'ASHWINEYYYY!!!',she squealed in happiness and ran towards him.She literally jumped on him,by hugging his neck and he hugged her by her waist which made Britto's face shrink.

The way he hugged her and his palms that rightfully holding her bare waist, Britto's breath got faster in anger.

'Happy Birthday my personal fm..',he pulled her nose.
'Thank you Ashwin eyy..',she pulled back.

'Vaa vaa..Unna oru aaluta introduce panre...',Sivaangi pulled Ashwin towards and Britto and they both were standing in utter shock.

It was like both of them were looking at their reflection.Height,their facial features everything was the same.

'Britto,ivara pathi unta sonnadhe illala..Ivaru dha Ashwin, Assistant commissioner!Ennoda fiancee ',Sivaangi said holding his arm and Britto's smile dropped.He felt like someone was tearing his heart into pieces.Tears were threatening to fall from his eyes but he managed not to break infront of her and smiled.

'Hello..',Ashwin forwarded his hand and Britto shook his hand with him.
'Enakku show...Show ku...Time aachu...Ponum...',he said.
'Ponuma?Namma ellaru veliya polaamnu nenache...',she sighed.

'Seri paathu po..',Sivaangi said and Britto left from there without turning back.

He made her wear a cute little gold chain which had a dollar 'AS'

'Heyy enakaa?',she asked and he nodded.

Britto's eyes were continuously shedding tears when he witnessed everything from distance.He threw the chocolates and bouquet in the dustbin and walked away from there with a broken heart.

The moment he reached the room he pushed everything down.He started breaking everything in his room crying loudly.Her face crossed his infront of him and punched the wall hard.He can't accept the fact that she wasn't his's.

He pulled back and wiped his tears.

Sivaangi went little late to the circus next day.But soon she frowned when she found Ashwin's car.

She saw the morning show has started and Britto was there.She looked at the audience but Ashwin wasnt there.She dialed Ashwin.

'Ashwin ey,yenga iruka?', she asked.

'Ohh..Serii..Summa dha kete..',she said.
'Seri ma konjam velaiya iruke,vechurava?',he asked and she declined the call bidding bye to him.

Ashwin was in Britto's room.He saw the room was in a mess.Things scattered around the floor and he checked the books too.His eyes fell on a test tube with some chemical in a test tube holder.He took it in his hands and Ashwin immediately recognised the smell.

He took another test tube and took some sample from it and safely packed it.
'Inga enna panra?',he heard Sivaangi's voice.

'Britto room la enna panra?', Sivaangi asked.
'Maa..Adhu naan detail ah solren..Ippo enkooda vaa..',Ashwin took her from there and Britto saw from the stage, Ashwin and Sivaangi leaving from the circus.

'Vandiya niruthu!',she said and he continued to drive.

'Can you stop the car? Car ah niruthuriya illa naa veliya kudhiduchuruven Ashwin..',she said and he stopped the car.
'En pinnadi varaadha..',Sivaangi got down from the car which made Ashwin sigh.

He came out from the car and saw Sivaangi disappearing from his sight.
'Sir!',Pradeep reached there in his car.
'Vaanga Pradeep,indha sample ah test ku kudunga.. Evlo ku evlo seekram namaku result varudho namma avlo nerungitom andha person ah!'

Ashwin dialed her continuously and she wasn't picking up his call.
'Romba kochikitaalata iruku..',he sighed and looked at the clock.It was already past seven at the evening.

He suddenly received a call.
'Hello?',he picked the call.
'Sir naan lab assistant pesuren sir..',a female voice came from there.
'Sollunga..',he replied.

'Sir neenga kudutha chemical ah test pannom sir..Idhellam market la engeyum available ah irukura scent illa..Chemical components ah mix panni uruvaakirukaanga..Nalla chemical knowledge irundha mattum dha sir idhu possible..',the lab assistant said.

'Sure ah?Veliya market la engeyume kedaikaadha?',Ashwin asked.
'Sure sir!Engeyum kedaika vaaipilla...',she said and Ashwin hummed and he received a call from Sivaangi's mother in second line.

'Ill call you back..',Ashwin picked the second line.
'Maa.. Sollunga ma..',Ashwin answered.
'Ashwin?Sivaangi unga kooda irukaala pa?',she asked.
'Yen ma ennaachu?',Ashwin asked panicking.

'Illa pa,romba late aayiduchu..Avala innum kaanom,Call um edukala adhaan keten',she said.
'Ahn..Adhu..Ava hospital la dha ma iruka,enkitta sonnaa avaluku edho class irukaam,Naane kondu vandhu avala drop pannidren ma..',Ashwin said.

'Apdiya..Seri pa paathu vaanga..',Sivaangi's mother declined the call.

Ashwin was sure now that Britto was the person behind all the missing cases.He panicked more when he heard Sivaangi wasn't home.
He dialed Preetha.

'Ashwin, sollunga',she answered.
'Ahn..Preetha,Sivaangi unga kooda irukaala?',Ashwin asked.
'Illaye Ashwin,Ava naan hospital la irundhu kelambumbodhe kelambeetale,Naan ipoo veetuku vandhuten..Any problem Ashwin?',she asked.

'Illa illa..Ava en call edukalaya adhaan keten..Veetla dhan irupaa naan veetuku call pannikuren..',Ashwin said.
'Hmm seri..',she declined the call.

'Sivaangi yenga di pona?',he drove to the circus and saw still her scooter was standing there.
'Scooter inga dha iruku..Ulla dha irupaa..',Ashwin ran inside but she could not find Sivaangi and Britto as well.

He saw one of the circus guy.
'Hmm excuse me?Uhh Britto illa?',Ashwin asked.

'Aama sir thaniya dha ponaan...',he said and moved.

He visited their every usual place but he could not find Sivaangi anywhere.Finally he was in the beach and staring at the waves with teary eyes!!

Sivaangi opened her eyes slowly due to the sudden light flashing on her.She tried to get up but found her legs and hands were tied up.Her eyes widened when she saw Britto sitting infront of her.

'Britto?',she mumbled.

She frowned and he spoke further.

Sivaangi's heart thudded in fear when she saw his bloodshot eyes.

'Appo andha missing case ku pinnadi irundhadhellam neeya?',she asked trembling and he nodded.

'Britto..Naan unna apdi paakala..Naan Ashwin ah dhan love panren..',she said and he stood up infront of her.

'Mudiyaadhu Britto..Love ah force panna mudiyaadhu..Force panni vara vekka numnu nee nenacha..Adhu nelaikaadhu Britto purinjuko...',she said and he screamed loudly and Sivaangi shut her eyes.

'Nallavana?',he looked like a beast in anger in Sivaangi's eyes.He looked horror.

'Pradeep... Location therinjudha?',Ashwin asked.
'Sir device got connected! Location theditu irukaanga..',Pradeep said and Ashwin was in panick.His love was there in the demon's hands.

'Sir,Neenga tracker device ah yepdi madam kitta kudutheenga?',Pradeep asked.

'Illa.. Unkooda naan munnaadi yepdi irundheno apdidha irupen Britto...',she said and they heard someone breaking the door.

Ashwin entered inside with the troop into the godown.It was all dark inside.
'Poi check pannunga..',Ashwin said and they all nodded.
Everyone went inside in each direction.Ashwin walked straight, holding his gun.

'Welcome!Welcome!!!',he heard a voice.
'Britto!I know thats you!',he said and a laughing sound echoed around the hall.
'Paravallaiye..Kandupudichuteengale Assistant commissioner sir!!Smart!',he clenched his fist in anger hearing him.

'Olunga mariyaadhaiya Sivaangi ya vitru..',Ashwin shouted and again he heard a laughing sound.

'Yaaru da ivan?Vidradhuka thookitu vandhuruken?Unaala mudinja nee avala inga irundhu kootitu po!!',he jumped from on where infront of Ashwin's eyes.He was in his clown costume and having a evil smirk on his face.

'Unna ava yevlo nambuna? Yepdi da unaku manasu varudhu?',Ashwin asked.
'Manasatchi,mannangatti lam unna maadhiri manushangaluku dhan..Enna maadhiri mirugathuku illa..Sivaangi!Ava ennoda Sivaa!Avala enkitta irundhu parikanumnu nenaikura yaarayu naa uyiroda vida maaten!!', Britto took the iron rod and Ashwin shot him but soon he bent down, escaping from the bullet.

'Porumai porumai!',Britto who didn't get up kicked his legs and Ashwin fell down losing his balance and the gun fell down away from his hand.
He stood on Ashwin's ankles which made Ashwin yelp in pain.
'Good bye!',Britto was about to hit him by with the rod but Ashwin was quick enough to grab it and punched his stomach.Britto lost his balance and moved back.

'Paravallaye pa!',Britto rubbed his stomach and Ashwin stood up and kicked his chest and Britto fell down.
'Guards!',Ashwin called them but none of them was coming.
'Yaarum vara maatanga Ashwin!This godown is constructed in a maze structure..Ellaru oru oru edathula maatirupaanga..',he laughed and Ashwin punched his face and blood oozed out from his lips.

'Sivaangi enga irukaa nu mariyadhai ya sollidu..',Ashwin grabbed his collars.
'Yepdi yepdi?Enkitta irundhu nee avala pirichudiviya?Ava ennoda Siva!',he said Britto grabbed Ashwin's collars and they both rolled on the floor.

Britto went on his top and held his neck, pressing Ashwin on the wall.
'Ava ennoda Siva!',he said.
'Dont you dare say that!',Ashwin said receiving a punch on the stomach from Britto.

'Unaala dhana ava enna yethuka maatikira??Unna mudichuta en Sivaangi enake kedachuruva..Naanum avalum happy ah irupom..Vittu kudunga Ashwin sir..',Britto said and presssed Ashwin's neck and he started choking.

'Ava..Happ..irukk..maata..',Ashwin managed to say and his hold loosened.
Suddenly a bullet pierced Britto's chest from the back.Blood oozed out from his back and Ashwin was shocked when he saw Sivaangi holding the gun.

Britto turned and threw a smile at her before she shot his chest twice.He didnt protest nor escape.He stood there still with a wide smile and tears were filled in his eyes.
He fell down and Ashwin held him.
'Nee..Avala..Nalla paathupiya?',he asked Ashwin and he nodded. Sivaangi came running to him the next minute.

'Unkitta onnu soll..',he choked blood and Sivaangi was continuously crying.
'En peru..',he whispered something on her ears and smiled,the next minute his soul left his body.

Ashwin hugged Sivaangi and she was crying louder and louder.
'Naa..venumnu pannala....Avan un kalutha pudichadhum enaku..Enna panradhunu therila....',she cried in his embrace.
'Naa jail ku poren Ashwin..',she said and he nodded horizontally.

'Illa ma...Idhu encounter avlodhan..Nee sudala...',he said.
'Illa..naan avana konnuten...',she said crying.
'Avan romba nallavan..Aana love ah epdi kaaturadhunu therila avanuku...',she said.

'Indha cruel world la irundhu nee avanuku vidudhala dhan ma kuduthuruka..',he kissed her head and her eyes fell on the lifeless body of Britto.

Love cannot be forced!We can admire the butterfly that was happily flying but you can't catch it and keep it with yourself.Exactly love is that.We can enjoy it when it was around and we can't force it to stay.

Britto understood that when he heard the words from Ashwin.All that matters to him was her happiness and when he came to know that she can't be happy with him,he decided to go away from her life.And he did.
