Chapter Forty Nine Pt | B |

It has been three days since they went to movie. Sakthi was to leave to Coimbatore last evening. Saradha tagged along as Pollachi is nearby. Sivaangi asked Saradha to stay for few more days but she kindly refused and left with Sakthi.

Sivaangi was at kitchen when Ashwin came home with his mobile pressed on his ear. He straight away went to their room. She kept the cucumbers she sliced aside before walking to their room. Softly opening the room door, she peaked inside.

"Master, enaku yenamoh idhu seri varum nu thonala!" Ashwin sighed deeply as he paced around the room.

'Yenna achu ivaruku?' Sivaangi thought to herself as she saw Ashwin.

"Ipo yedhuku andha Ramakrishna enayum Sivaangi ah um paathe aganum nu Santosh ta sollanum? Santosh sollran avaru thirindhutaru nu aana enaku Sivaangi vishayam la risk yedhuka istam illa"

Ashwin sighed on hearing what Master said from the other side.

"Sivaangi ku avara paaka istam irukum nu enaku thonala, Master"

Ashwin listened to Master patiently for a couple of minutes and sighed deeply.

"Seri, na Sivaangi ta yenna nu ketutu ongaluku sollren" Ashwin hangs up the call.

"Ashwinn"

Ashwin turned to look at Sivaangi.

"Yean tension ah irukinga?" Sivaangi asked stepping towards Ashwin, "Master ta ya pesitu irundhinga?"

"Inga vaa" Ashwin held Sivaangi's hand and they sat down on the bed, "Sivaangi"

"Master yenna sonnaru?" Sivaangi asked and on seeing Ashwin trying to put his words together, she continued, "Chithapa paka vara sonnadhu dhana"

Ashwin looked at Sivaangi, surprised. Understanding his gaze, she continued, "Room ula vara apovey ketaen neenga pesunadha. Avaru paka vara sonaru la, enaku okay. Poetu varalam"

Ashwin sighed.

"Sivaangi, unaku unn Chithapa va pakurad-"

"Enaku kettadhu senjadhu avaru. Thappu pannadhu avaru. Avarey pakanum nu kupdura apo, thappu seiyadha na yedhuku thayanganum? Avara paathutu vandha indha moththa prachana kum oru mudivu na avara poe pathutu varadhula enaku prachana ila, Ashwinn" Sivaangi held Ashwin's hand and continued, "Enaku onga kuda vaazhanum, sandhosama, yarukum yethukum bayapadama"

Ashwin placed his hand on Sivaangi's cheek, his thumb stroking her cheek softl, "Nalla yosichu dhana solra?"

"Ama" Sivaangi smiled, placing her hand on top of Ashwin's that's resting on her cheek, "Yepo poganum sollunga, poetu varalam"

Ashwin looped his arm around Sivaangi's neck, pulling her in his embrace. She smiled and snuggled more into his warmth, burying her senses with his presence.

Sivaangi rubbed her palms together under the table, trying to maintain her cool demeanor. She was sitting beside Ashwin who was on her right and Darshan on her left while Baba Baskar sat on the right of Ashwin. Next to Darshan, Parthiv, Sandy and Sanjay were seated. They were waiting for Ramakrishna, sitting on a conference room at SK Groups.

Santosh walked along with his PA Dharan, his friend Gautham followed by Ramakrishna and Sakunthala. Sivaangi looked down toying with her fingers while Ashwin looked at her. He grabbed her hand in his making her look up at him. He blinked his eyes in assurance making her nod slightly and sigh.

None spoke anything as Santosh, Ramakrishna and rest sat on the other side. Ramakrishna stood up and folded his hands. Santosh eyed Dharan to leave which he obliged. Sivaangi firmly held Ashwin's hand as she looked down but paid attention to the exchange between Baba Baskar and Ramakrishna.

The first thing which Sivaangi noticed is how low and soft Ramakrishna's tone has reduced from before to now. The authority with which he speaks before was nowhere found in his tone. Ashwin caressed Sivaangi's palm with his thumb, calming her.

"Namma yellarukum yenna nadandhuchu nu theriyum. Suthi valachu solla onum illa. Na pannadhu thappu dhan. Padhavi, soththu mela aasai pattu na Sivaangi ah kastam paduthiten romba" Ramakrishna said in a regretful tone.

"Aana avala kollanum, ava vazhkai ah alikanum nu enaku yennam irundhadhu illa" Ramakrishna looked at Ashwin, "Ashwin ku katti vacha soththu easy ah eludhi vangiralam nu nenachen. Aana adhukaga matum illa, avanuku Sivaangi ah katti vacha nalla pathupan num theriyum. Andha nambikai la dhan avaluku pidikadha kalyanam naalum panni vachuralam nu nenachen"

Ramakrishna sighed,

"Na panna thappa nyayam paduthala. Athuku mannipu iruka nu theriyala. Kudumbatha vitu thaniya jail la iruka apo dhan senja oru oru thappum kannuku munna vandhutu pochu..."

Ramakrishna's voice quivered,

Ramakrishna went on to blabber about how much he regrets his actions and then looked at Ashwin.

"Enaya nalla dhan yosichu maati vitruka" Ramakrishna chucked dryly.

Sivaangi looked at Ashwin surprised while he stared at Ramakrishna with a blank face.

"Unn Mama ena nambi dhan unna yum unn Amma ah um vitutu ponan. Unn Amma na enaku romba istam, enoda sondha thangachi mathiri dhan paasam vachen. Ava andha aal ooda odi ponadhum enn Prakash odanju ponadha paathu enaku ava mela irundha paasam poeruchu"

Ramakrishna sighed, "Yenna irundhalum ongala avan ena nambi vitutu ponan. Maasam maasam thavaraama unn Amma ku kaasu anupuven aana paasam kaati pathukama poeten..."

"Sivaangi" Ramakrishna looked at Sivaangi who composed herself before looking up at him, her face devoid of emotions. He couldn't hold her gaze and averted his eyes, gulping hard.

Gathering courage, Ramakrishna looked at Sivaangi again, "Unta mannippu keka kuda enala unn kanna paaka mudiyala ma...Appa va irundhu pathrukanum...Aana..."

Sakunthala stood up, "Enayum manichuru, Sivaangi. Una na mogathuku nera yedhuvum sonadhu illa. Nee ketadha senjuruken aana paasam kaatama poeten... Unaku pidikadhu nu therinjum neraya vishayathula unna force panni, adachu vachu, merati lam kastam paduthiruken...Manichuru ma"

Sivaangi stared at both Ramakrishna and Sakunthala who looked at her in tears. She stood up making Ramakrishna pause in middle, Ashwin's hand still holding hers as she looked at them.

"Enoda Appa Amma ponadhum andha veetla thanimai la thavicha apo neenga rendu per um vandhinga. Apovey adhu enn veedu illa, namma veedu nu manasuku pattuchu. Andha yennathula dhan na valandhen" Sivaangi said looking at Ramakrishna, "Aana ipo andha veetukum enakum yendha samandhamum illa. Enn purushan kuda irundhaley enaku podhum"

"Siv-"

"Company la equal shares and CEO position Santosh ku kuduthadhu avanoda qualification ku" Sivaangi said looking between Santosh and Ramakrishna, "Meedhi iruka enoda inheritance ah Darshan anna enaku, Santosh ku aprm Shalini ku equal ah divide pani Will ready panitaru. Na sign um paniten"

"Sivaangi!"

"Na inum pesi mudikala, Santosh" Sivaangi said sternly looking at Santosh and then looked at Ramakrishna, "Yaaru yaaru ku yenna yenna seranumoh, adhu sendhu dhan aaganum. Neenga venam nu sonna lam adha othuka mudiyathu!"

Sivaangi looked at Sakunthala who lowered her eyes with tears, understanding Sivaangi's words. Did Sakunthala thought Sivaangi won't know what she speaks behind Sivaangi's back?

Sivaangi looked at Ramakrishna as she continued,

"Enala ongala mannika mudiyuma nu lam theriyadhu. Enaku nu nerandhirama kudumbam, uravu nu ipo dhan sandhosama vaazha aarambikuren. Atha kedukura mathiri yedhuvum pannama irundhale podhum. Enn pakkam varadhinga, ena vaazha vidunga..."

Sivaangi folded her hands in front of Ramakrishna and Sakunthala before walking out from there. Ramakrishna asked for Ashwin's forgiveness and said that he would give Prakash's company to Ashwin which Ashwin of course declined. When all left, Santosh looked at his defeated father shedding tears. After years, he felt as if he got his old father back.

That night when Ashwin came to their room, he saw Sivaangi sprawled on their bed, her eyes closed and airpods on. Ever since they came back from meeting Ramakrishna, she sticked to his side, asking him if she did right. He spent his late afternoon and evening assuring her that she did what was right and that everything's over.

"Sivaangi" Ashwin shook Sivaangi's shoulder. She opened her eyes and took one airpods off her ear as she smiled at him.

"Paatu kekuriya?"

"Ama" Ashwin brushed his nose with Sivaangi's making her smile widely.

Sivaangi pecked Ashwin's cheek before nuzzling her nose into the crook of his neck while he tightened his hold around her.

"Na onnu kekava?" Sivaangi asked tracing her lips on his earlobe.

"Yenna di?" Ashwin asked in his deep base voice, his fingers caressing her waist under her t-shirt.

"Adhuu..." Sivaangi trailed her words.

"Adhuu?" Ashwin repeated her words, his fingers drawing lazy patterns on her skin.

"Adhu...namma..."

"Namma?"

"Namma...kasa musa panlam ah?" Sivaangi asked softly against his ear making him laugh.

"Idha keka dhan ipdi iluthiya?" Ashwin laughed making Sivaangi look up at him with a pout.

"Enta yenna di koocham unaku" Ashwin's deep base voice sent shivers down Sivaangi's spine as she bit her lower lips and the next minute, he placed her on the bed before hovering over her.

Ashwin was about to sat up but Sivaangi pulled him back.

"Eee" Sivaangi gave a sheepish smile before fisting Ashwin's t-shirt and pulling him closer.
