Hey guys, hope you all are doing good. I hope you enjoyed reading the last chapter. Your response was amazing. Hope you all enjoyed the twist. Really glad that I could pull off surprising more than handful people with the twist.

Chapter Forty Five

Ashwin saw Sivaangi's eyes go wide in shock, her mouth forming a perfect O as she stared at him and his mother. He knew there are lot of ways to break this news to his wife but he didn't want to beat around the bush.

Sighing, Ashwin got up and stood by Sivaangi before encircling his arm on her shoulder. Placing his finger under her chin, he made her look at him. She frowned at him without blinking her eyes.

"Ashwinn..." Sivaangi trailed her words opening and closing her mouth, not knowing how to react or what to say.

"Sivaangi, ena paru. Thegachu poe nikkura nu theriyudhu. Ithana naal oru kaaranama dhan yedhuvum sollala, aana inaiku solren" Ashwin said staring at Sivaangi and pointing at Saradha, he said, "Ithan enoda amma, Saradha"

Did Sivaangi heard it right? Ashwin is indeed Saradha aunty's son?! But how is that possible?!

"Unoda Chithapa Ramakrishna ooda best friend Prakash ooda thangachi dhan naan" Saradha said standing up as well, "Meedhi avan solluvan da"

Taking hold of Sivaangi's hand, Saradha made Sivaangi to sit down on the couch. Sivaangi looked up at Saradha with a frown. Smiling, Saradha caressed Sivaangi's hair softly before turning to Ashwin, "Achu, nee Sivaangi ku ellam sollu. Na avaluku sapda yethachum panni kondu varen"

Ashwin nodded at his mother before sitting next to Sivaangi while Saradha left to kitchen, giving them the privacy to talk. It isn't her place to tell Sivaangi but Ashwin's.

"Yen-yenna solringa? Yaaru Prakash? Enaku puriyala" Sivaangi said holding Ashwin's hands, "Chithapa jail la irukaru nu solranga, yenna nadakudhu?"

"Adh-"

Various thoughts were running in Sivaangi's mind. She and Ashwin were related? He is Saradha aunty's son. That means? Damn! The wedding she ran away from was with Ashwin at the first place? Sivaangi frown grew deep as realization hit her. With her eyes wide as a saucer, Sivaangi turned to Ashwin and smacked his arm making him hiss loudly.

"Ada paavi manusha!! Onga kuda kalyanam venam nu dhan na odi vandhen ah?!!" Sivaangi shrieked.

"Ahh!" Ashwin rubbed where Sivaangi smacked him.

"Aiyayo, Aiyayo, Aiyayo!!" Sivaangi buried her face in her palms, repeating herself.

"Aiyayo solladha, nalladhu ila" Ashwin said but averted his gaze when Sivaangi glared at him.

Ashwin winced when Sivaangi repeatedly smacked his arm making him yell 'Amma' Saradha came out hearing Ashwin's yell with tensed face but relaxed watching Sivaangi beat him. She shook her head with a smile and went back to kitchen.

"Nee kalyanam pidikala nu dhana odi vandha. Adhuku na yenna di panuven!"

"Ithana maasama neenga enta idha pathi solavey ila! Yepdi neenga sollama irukalam!" Sivaangi huffed smacking Ashwin, "Na evlo bayandhu poe, plan panni anaiku thapichu vandhu stunt lam pani akapor pattu ongala kalyanam panen! Kadaisila ipdiya! Aiyoohhh!"

"Ila, Sivaan-"

"Veetla irundhu thapichu egiri kudichu vandhu, kidnap agi, arrgghh...Yendha kalyanam vendam nu nenachu odi vandhen oh athey paiyana kalyanam panni ithana maasam kudumbam nadathitu irundhruken eh!! Aiyoo!" Sivaangi whined.

"Heyy! Nee ena kattikanum nu dhana di oodi vandha! Aprm yenna?!" Ashwin scoffed.

"Pesathinga!!"

"Ath-"

"Sollunga, ongaluku yepo irundhu theriyum namma kalyanam pannika vendiyathu nu?!"

Ashwin thought for a moment reading Sivaangi's face before he sighed.

"Unna paatha anaike theriyum" Ashwin said holding Sivaangi's hand stopping her from smacking him. Damn, this woman sure looks small but her smacks sure do hurt!

"Paatha anaika!! Apo adutha naal namaku kalyanam nu theriyum la ongaluku!" Sivaangi snapped trying to tug her hand out of Ashwin's hold, "Idhula pidikadha kalyanam ku yedhuku seri sonna, enta irundhu poedu nu pechu vera!"

"Sivaangi, adh-"

"Yarachum adutha naal kalyanam vachutu nadu rathiri la rowdy raid nu ooru suthuvanga la?! Kalyanam munadi naal kaalai la yeh vandhruka vendam?!"

"Hein?" Ashwin looked at Sivaangi, puzzled by her words.

"Huh. Enn annanungaluku theriyuma ithellam?" Sivaangi asked with a glare.

"Ipo koncha naal munna dhan sonnen" Ashwin said truthfully.

"Yenna sonanga!" Sivaangi deadpanned, still glaring at Ashwin.

"Idhuku paruthi moota godown la yeh irundhrukalam nu sonnanunga" Ashwin blurted out and then gulped before looking at Sivaangi. He smiled nervously and was rewarded with a smack on his chest.

"Hawww!" Sivaangi angrily scrunched her face.

"Sivaangi!"

"Ponga, ponga. Yenta pesathinga!" Sivaangi folded her hands and turned her face.

"Psch! Sivaangi!"

"Thodadhinga!" Sivaangi pushed Ashwin's arm but he grabbed her hand pulling her in his embrace.
"Kovama marachuten nu?" Ashwin asked making Sivaangi look up at him.

"Ila" Sivaangi glared at Ashwin, "Marachutinga nu kovam ila. Adhu vera department. Yedhuku neenga kalyanathuku modha naal varala?! Vandhrundhinga na, ongala pathrundha na odiyeh poeruka maten la!"

Ashwin looked at his wife amused. Is she for real? Out of all things she chose to get mad for this? But she looked super cute to him with her angry pout and flaring face. A smile bloomed on his lips as he placed his palm on her cheek making her look at him.

"Odi pola naalum nee enaku pondatti ah kedachurupa aana just oru responsibility ah matum dhan irundhrupa. But nee odi pona naala dhana ipo paaru enaku na love panra enoda pondatti ah kedachuruka" Ashwin said softly caressing Sivaangi's cheek, his gaze holding hers.

"Yenna irun...wait, wait, ipo neenga yenna soninga?" Sivaangi looked at Ashwin with wide eyes. She forgot everything else with his words.

"Yenna sonnen?" Ashwin asked with a knowing smile.

"Ashwinn..." Sivaangi's voice soften as her eyes slightly moistened. Did her husband whom she loved for seven years told her that he loves her?

"Yean acharyama pakura? Na varthai la sonadhu ila dhan aana enoda presence la, enoda touch la enoda kannu la yean nee iruka apo enoda oru oru asaivulayum unaku enoda love kandipa therinchurukumey" Ashwin said stroking Sivaangi's cheek.

"Theriyum dhan" Sivaangi said, tears slipping out of her eyes, "Aana modha thadava ipo dhana kekuren. Adhan ulla irundhu feelings lam burst agudhu"

"Enaku indha grand decoration, yosichu plan panni solanum nu lam theriyadhu, Sivaangi. Enaku theriyum na unna love panren nu. Yosichu vachu solanum nu thonala, thaana ulla irundhu vai la vara apo sollanum nu nenachen. Solliten"

Sivaangi didn't say anything. Rather she snuggled into Ashwin's embrace resting her head over his chest, listening to his heart beat.

"Unaku yean college la pathu enaya pidikanum? Elu varusham kalichu unakum enakum enn kalyanam nichayam aganum? Nee thapichu odi vandhu enn kai la enn vilanum? Namma yean kalyanam aganum? Yenna nadandhalum yean namma seranum?" Ashwin said stroking Sivaangi's hair,

"Nee yepovum solava la, kadavul setting, kadavul setting nu. Adhu dhan di idhu. We were destined to be together, adhu naala dhan in one way or another, universe has always brought us together"

"I love you Ashwin" Sivaangi mumbled against Ashwin, tightening her hold around him.

Ashwin leaned down to Sivaangi's ears. Gently kissing her earlobe, he whispered into her ear, "I love you Sivaangi"

Sivaangi looked up from Ashwin's embrace and kissed his cheek. He smiled at her and caressed her arm before saying, "Ela prachanayum complete ah seri paniduven, Sivaangi. Aprm enn pondatti yendha kavalaiyum ilama, unn istathuku, sandhosama irukalam"

"Aiyo! Namma yenna nadandhuchu nu pesitu irundhom la! Sorry, sorry." Sivaangi frowned and pulled back from Ashwin's embrace, "Onnu vidama elathayum sollunga Ashwinn! Enaku onumey puriyala"

Ashwin nodded and started to narrate how he's related to Sivaangi's uncle. Ashwin's uncle Prakash and Sivaangi's uncle Ramakrishna were very close friends right from their childhood. They were inseparable. Saradha is Prakash's own sister whom he loved very much.

When Saradha was nineteen, their parents passed away in an accident. Prakash became very protective of Saradha. Ramakrishna saw and loved Saradha as his own sister too. Prakash took care of their father's business. Everything went well until Saradha fell in love with Rajavelu, Ashwin's father.

Both Prakash and Ramakrishna were against their love. Rajavelu didn't truly loved Saradha. His eyes were on her wealth. He managed to convince her to run away with him and get married. Prakash was heartbroken while Ramakrishna was angry.

When they found Saradha, she was already married to Rajavelu. So, Prakash left her to live her life on her terms. At the beginning Saradha's marriage life was good but soon it was filled with abuse. Rajavelu would drink and abuse Saradha. He forced her to get monetary help from Prakash.

Realizing Rajavelu's true face Saradha refused to get help from Prakash which resulted in he beating her. He would get drunk, roam with other women and do illegal works, making her suffer. Even after Ashwin born, it didn't change.

Prakash was disheartened after his sister left. He didn't focus much on business and his health took a hit too. Ramakrishna was pissed off at Saradha on seeing Prakash's state. Before he too loved and pampered Saradha but he grew bitter after seeing Prakash's state.

Ashwin grew up watching his father abusing and humiliating his mother. He hated his father and was looking for a way out for him and his mother. His father made his mother involve in an illegal activity without her knowledge. She was jailed because of it.

Learning this Prakash and Ramakrishna rushed to get Saradha. They knew only months later and so, she already spent few months at jail, suffering at the hands of her jail mates. Prakash urged Saradha to come along but keeping in mind that her husband would ruin Prakash's peace, she refused.

Once Rajavelu beat Ashwin so badly that he had to be hospitalized. Saradha finally had enough and threw her mangalsutra on Rajavelu's face. Prakash and Ramakrishna came hearing about Ashwin at hospital.

Saradha refused to go with them when they asked her to but they finally convinced her and took her along. Knowing he can't milk out money from them, Rajavelu left with another woman and never came back.

Saradha and Ashwin stayed at Prakash's place. Ramakrishna spoke with Saradha for name's sake, still pissed at her for Prakash's state. Prakash never got married. His business kept declining and even though Ramakrishna offered money, he declined. Prakash cared for Ashwin but Ashwin always kept distance from his uncle. He didn't want to take advantage of his uncle's wealth and wanted to be someone who could support his mother financially. That's how he grew up.

When Prakash's business kept declining, he requested Ramakrishna to take over his business and pay him money sufficient to clear off his debts and savings for his sister and her son. Ramakrishna would have helped with the money but Prakash was tired. He had heart complications and so, didn't want to continue business.

Saradha worked at Ramakrishna's office and supported her son's studies. Tragedy struck them when Prakash passed away due to heart attack. Ramakrishna was heartbroken. He took Saradha's responsibility and supported her and Ashwin financially for his best friend's sake. He did consider Saradha as his sister but stopped voicing it out.

Shakunthala, Ramakrishna's wife wasn't okay with this but Ramakrishna paid no heed because for him Prakash comes first. Ashwin is like the perfect roll model which irked Santosh, Ramakrishna's son for he believes Ashwin is his competition, even though they have five years age gap. That's how they grew up. But Ramakrishna's daughter Shalini loved Ashwin like a brother and fond of him.

Ramakrishna became a different person after Prakash's death. Whenever he goes off track, it was Prakash who dragged him straight but with Prakash gone, Ramakrishna started to go behind money and power. It changed him as a person.

After Ashwin joined college at Coimbatore, he asked Saradha to take on a job at Pollachi Textile factory s he wanted his mother nearby. That was the time Ramakrishna's periappa son Krishnakumar and his wife died in an accident.

So, with Ramakrishna shifting to take care of that, Saradha settled at Pollachi and Ashwin at Coimbatore. Ramakrishna would send money to Saradha every month even though she refuses. He says he sends it for Prakash and not her, without leaving a chance for her to refuse.

Ashwin learned hacking, coding for software, etc., out of his interest. He, along with his friends' gang, after college started doing little assignments and from there provide security software for firms. They gradually grew and opened two companies but it was managed by Damodaran and Venkatesh while they focus on assignment and security software development.

Saradha vaguely had an idea about what Ashwin does, not completely. She pestered him to get married but he kept dodging her. When Ramakrishna asked her for Ashwin's hand in marriage to Sivaangi, she told him that she'll ask Ashwin but Ramakrishna was firm that he wanted Ashwin to marry Sivaangi.

When Saradha told this to Ashwin on the day before marriage (because Ramakrishna only told her about all these two days before marriage date), he straightaway refused but Saradha emotionally blackmailed him and asked him to come to Ramakrishna's place first.

Saradha remember meeting Sivaangi when Sivaangi was younger. She and Ashwin has even played with the younger Sivaangi but Ashwin doesn't have any recollection. She asked him to come and sent Sivaangi's pic.

Ashwin was pissed off when Viraj issue happened, just before he had to leave for Ramakrishna's place. He didn't see the pic and was busy making things better between Master's men and his friends. That's where he met Sivaangi.

Seeing Sivaangi after years, Ashwin couldn't recognize her right away. Only after looking into her information, he realized Sivaangi is not just the person he saw at college but also Ramakrishna's niece.

Through Saradha, Ashwin learnt the happenings at Ramakrishna's place. After hearing Sivaangi's side, he didn't have heart to send her back to Ramakrishna. He knew Ramakrishna is a changed person now and sending Sivaangi back isn't a safe option for her.

When Master pestered them to get married, Ashwin gave it a thought. He believed that Sivaangi came into his life for a reason; like she's destined to be with him. He liked her and she loved him. That's why he proposed marriage to her. He only told his mother few things including his marriage with Sivaangi, keeping her in dark that he was involved in Ramakrishna's arrest.

After a month of their marriage, when issues kept coming, Ashwin confessed everything to Master who was pissed off at first but understood Ashwin's side and agreed to help him. They managed to send Ramakrishna to jail and tried ways to mend things for Sivaangi to be free again.

When Santosh came, Ashwin hesitated to move against him but then he didn't want to put Sivaangi in danger and made sure to keep Sivaangi safe from Santosh's radar. All that crumbled because of Anthony's right hand and now, Santosh's after Sivaangi.

"Indha prachana naala dhan nee pakathula iruka vendam nu na unna Benzy veetuku anupunen" Ashwin sighed.

Sivaangi was bewildered learning all these.

"Saradha athai romba kastam pattutanga. Avangala nalla pathukanum" Sivaangi said looking at Ashwin. He smiled at how aunty has changed to Athai.

"Hmmm, pathukalam" Ashwin squeezed Sivaangi's palm in assurance.

"Seri, ena anga anupitu inga yenna achu? Shakunthala Chithi ah kanom. Santosh yenna aanan?"

"Adhu...na unta oru vishayam sol-illa kekanum" Ashwin's face turned serious as his thumb caressed Sivaangi's knuckles, "Seiviya?"

"Yenna dhu, Ashwin?" Sivaangi asked with a smile which dropped when Ashwin said,

"Nee unnoda Appa company la major shares Santosh ku eludhi kudukanum"
