Chapter Fifty 

Part B

Recap: Sivaangi broke down asking the boys not to involve in illegal hacking anymore.

Sivaangi beamed widely and clapped her hands in happiness as Saradha lighted the lamp. She felt the hold on her waist tighten and look up at a smiling Ashwin, his eyes filled with love and warmth.

"Yellam okay dhana?" Ashwin asked in his soft base voice making Sivaangi smile wider and nod her head. Why won't she be okay when her husband and brothers are taking a proper start to their career. The office looks amazing and she was excited for them. He smiled back at her and blinked his eyes before looking front.

Right after Sivaangi broke down that day Ashwin felt helpless and guilty yes, but he also felt ashamed. He knew that whatever business they were into, its illegal and dangerous. He knows that he and his friends have family to look after. It shouldn't have taken Sivaangi to voice out this! They should have thought about this!

Ashwin still remembers that day how Sivaangi trembled and cried in his embrace as he wordlessly took her to their room. He remembers how she refused to let him go, crying softly in his embrace as they sat on their bed.

When Ashwin reflected on Sivaangi's words, he couldn't get himself to think what and how much he and his friends are putting their loved ones through. When he and his friends started doing this, they started it out of passion and for the thrill they got. He won't deny that they didn't enjoy getting an income out of it.

From that time to now, it was never in Ashwin and his friend's plan to make it their full-time profession. The more projects they got, the more it consumed them to go on further. They never cared about the risk that came along.

Rakshan was married to the love of his life Saranya. They were happy at first but then their relationship strained because she wanted him to stop, which he never told his friends and kept on involving in hacking much to her disappointment.

They were happy, yes but then more problem arose as Saranya's family (who doesn't know about his hacking profession), who weren't happy with Rakshan took it as a chance and created lot of misunderstandings resulting in too many fights.

The couple didn't want to give up on each other but they needed space. So, when Saranya got scholarship to do her Masters at Canada, they decided to give themselves time and she left to Canada.

Even after Ashwin and his friends asked Rakshan not to be a part of this whole thing, Rakshan refused. He doesn't directly work on hacking projects anymore but then he manages everything.

As for Sarath, he was engaged to Keerthi for over a year now. It was an arranged marriage and she's working at Dubai. Her contract will be ending in less than six months and once she's back, Sarath will be married. Keerthi has no idea about his hacking profession and if she does and wants to leave then that would be the second friend to live away from their wife.

As for Sanjana and Benzi, they know what the boys do. They accepted them with all their baggage but it would be selfish to take their fears for granted just because they don't voice out their fears and concerns.

That day Ashwin let Sivaangi cry. He had no words to comfort her at that moment, not at least he speaks with his friends first. She moved away from him after some time and without any words, she crawled to her side of bed and covered herself in blanket making his heart sink. He laid next to her and back hugged her but she didn't say anything to him at all.

When Ashwin came out of their room, he found his friends in the living room. They all looked tensed yet determined.

"Vitralam"

Ashwin, Sanjay, Rakshan, Pugazh and Sarath looked at each other as they said the same thing at the same time. The friends sat down together and each of them expressed why they should stop and what they can do further.

"We've to come out clean from this. Iruka ella assignments um mudichu we have to lose connection and contact with all clients. All our data have to be erased. We'll let this sneaky illegal business for once and all. We'll work on that and then we'll think about what's next" There was a determination in Sanjay's eyes as he said which moved others. He sighed and added, "Let's make our life safer for our loved ones"

And so, they worked on that. The next day Sivaangi masked her feelings with a smile and tried to be normal which hurt Ashwin and her brothers more. They kept low about the whole thing and it took them two weeks to wind up the whole thing.

Ashwin still remember how Sivaangi's face changed when he told her that he and his friends let go of illegal hacking. He told her about how they decided to end it for good.

Sivaangi was actually more down for the two weeks as she thought they are continue working despite whatever she told making her guilty but when she heard what Ashwin said, she hugged him and broke down in his arms.

Sivaangi repeatedly kept saying sorry to Ashwin, for taking what he loved doing away from him even more guilty. He regretted not doing it before she had to voice it out. With the boys' decision their women were happy.

Rakshan and Saranya made up through online. She promised to come back to him once her course ends. Sanjana flew to Chennai in happiness to meet Sanjay. Pugazh and Benzi decided to tie knot soon. And Sivaangi, she just twirled around carefree as if this whole thing was something that weighed her down before.

The boys were of mixed feelings on seeing their women's happiness. They couldn't help but question themselves whether they were causing pain to the very women they love to death by involving in illegal business and putting everyone's life on line. They were happy that they decided to come out.

Ashwin watched as two older guys stepped forward and turned around facing the staffs in front of them.

"Namma companies two different names la operate aanalum we are branches of the same tree. Rendu companies la um work panra heads and senior staffs irukinga inga. Naanum enn friend um ongata mukiyamaana vishayangala address pananum nu dhan ongala inga gather aaga sonnom" The first guy said.

"You guys have worked so hard in taking our company forward under our guidance. We believe we have steered our ship towards success. Now it's time for us to let the rightful people to take the wheel" The second guy said.

"So, my friend and I, we would like to pass both the companies to its rightful owners" The first guy said and pointed to his left, "Idho"

Ashwin, Rakshan, Sanjay, Pugazh and Sarath stepped forward and walked to the older guys.

"Ivanga dhan namma company oda founders. Enga kita kudutha responsibilities ah naanga thirumba kudukura time idhu" The second guy said and looked at the boys, "Welcome back, boys. They are yours", the second guy waved his hand at the employees.

Ashwin and his friends together founded two companies namely 'AS Technologies & Solutions' and 'AK Software & Tech' which they ran through its CEOs Dhamodaran and Venkatesh all these years. It was purely legal business and its white money with all the taxes paid properly.

The boys thought this could be the key for them to start over. As soon as they were sure about it, they approached Dhamodaran and Venkatesh. The heads were happy to handover the responsibilities back to the boys and promised to help them run the company.

Within a month they made all necessary arrangements and today's the day Dhamodaran and Venkatesh are stepping down. The event went well. The girls and Saradha looked around the office while the boys addressed the employes before gathering at the conference room and discussing over the company details.

That night when Sivaangi walked inside her room followed by her husband, she was pulled into a back hug making a tired smile bloom on her lips. Ashwin wrapped his arm around his wife's collar bone before pulling her close,

"Happy ah?"

Placing her hand above Ashwin's, while still being in his embrace, Sivaangi turned facing him. With her fist crushing his shirt, she stood on her toes and pecked his jaw before smiling through her eyes,

"Varthai la express panna mudiyatha alavuku" Sivaangi said softly wounding her arms around Ashwin's neck and then looked into his eyes, "Aana ongata onnu kekanum"

"Kelu" Ashwin said holding Sivaangi firmly against him, his arms wounded around her waist, lifting her to his level.

"Neenga happy ah irukingala? With all you had to give up, that part of happiness in your lif-"

"Hey" Ashwin cupped Sivaangi's cheek as he looked down her eyes, "You and me, this part of my life, that's my happiness, Sivaangi. I don't regret anything I did in my past life. Na pannadhu thappu dhan aana adhula oru vagayaana sandhosam, oru kick kedachuthu aana adha vida periya sandhosam naa, nee, namma vaazha pora indha life, idhuku munadi nothing stands. I'm happy, purinchudha?"

Overwhelmed, Sivaangi nodded her head and hugged Ashwin, resting her head against his chest. He tightened his hold around her trying to bury her within himself as he nuzzled into the crook of her neck and placed a wet kiss on her nape.

Placing Sivaangi on her feet, Ashwin caressed her hair with a smile before walking to his closet to get his night clothes. He walked inside the washroom while she removed her saree and arranged the bed.

Once Ashwin came out, Sivaangi went to have a soothing bath. After a refreshing bath, she came out and saw Ashwin applying painkiller cream on his legs.

"Kaal valikudha?"

"Hmmm, moonu naal ah alanchute irundhadhu" Ashwin said pressing his legs, "Nalaiku office kelambanum. Na breakfast senju vachutu poren"

"Hmmm" Sivaangi crawled on the bed and instead of going to her side, she moved towards Ashwin's leg, sat there and pressed his leg making him jerk his leg back.

"Hey! Yenna panra?"

"Psch! Valikudhu nu soningala Ashwineyy" Sivaangi shrugged.

"Adhuku?"

"Adhuku na? Adhuku dha kaal amuka pore"

"Athellam onum vendam Sivaangi" Ashwin said and about to withdraw his legs back but Sivaangi placed her hand on his legs stopping him.

"Shoo! Na onga kaal ah amukuna yenna ipo? Pesama irunga" Sivaangi said placing one of his legs on her lap pressing him, "Enaku mudhugu pidichuruku idupu pidichuruku nu sonna apo amuki viduringa la, apo na onga kaal amukuna yenna?"

Ashwin stared at his wife for a couple of seconds before he sighed and then placed his other leg also on her lap, "Apo seri, nalla amuki vidu"

Sivaangi stared at Ashwin with disbelief before shaking her head and pressing his legs with utmost concentration. He chuckled at her facial reactions as she pressed his legs to her best, huffing and groaning.

"Amukunadhu podhum madam. Paduka vaanga"

"Ada irunga amuk-"

"Ada vaa di" Ashwin said grabbing Sivaangi's arm and pulled her to him, "Kai lam paaru pink agiruchu" saying that he was about to touch her hand but she stopped him.

"Ada iruu Ashwineyy! Kai la marundhu iruku. Eriyum. Na poe hand wash panitu varen" Sivaangi wriggled herself out of Ashwin's hold and walked away. He sighed and shook his head before lying down.

"Vandhutenn" Sivaangi announced as she back hugged Ashwin pulling him to lay flat. He laid facing her and she wasted no time in burying herself in his embrace.

"Eii, thoongu di" Ashwin said with a soft chuckle on feeling Sivaangi's kisses on his chest mole. In response she sucked on his chest mole while her hand roamed on his body going south making him groan and that lead to a passionate night.

Couple of months passed with the boys getting accustomed to the office. Dhamodaran and Venkatesh were great help to them, guiding them in each step. Pugazh and Benzy's marriage preparation were also going on.

Sivaangi joined an online course for coding to develop her knowledge and skills. Sanjay would give her little projects to work on. On seeing Sivaangi learn online the boys got an idea to work on a start-up plan to open a platform for online course where they can offer courses on coding, data science, hacking, etc.

Master and his men still had a good relationship with them. Master was generous enough to continue let his men stay in the opposite apartment. He also made sure he visited Sivaangi at least once a week.

Ashwin and Sivaangi go to meet Saradha once a month. They tried convincing her to come stay with them but Saradha refused but promised to come stays with them once Sivaangi gets pregnant. They didn't force her after that. In short, they had their moments now and then but life was going well.

Sivaangi sighed and placed her hands on her hips as she looked at the dresses she has lined on her bed. Ashwin promised to take her on a night drive and she was clueless on what to wear.

"Hmmm" Placing her index finger on her chin, Sivaangi eyed the clothes, "Idhula yedhu pota avaruku vasadhiya irukum?"

Her mobile rang breaking Sivaangi from her thoughts. Her lips curl into a smile on seeing Ashwin's name flash on the screen.

"Ashwineyy! Yenna panringa? Yepo varuvinga? Office la irundhu kelambitingala?" Sivaangi asked with her excited smile but soon it turned into a frown when Ashwin said he would reach within ten minutes and asked her to be ready by then.

Confirming Ashwin that she's already ready Sivaangi hung up the call before running around the room. Grabbing her towel, she took the quickest bath of her life. Putting on a random top and pant, she hurriedly did her hair and face.

By the time Sivaangi was combing her hair Ashwin walked inside their room. She gave a sheepish smile to him while he shook his head at her before grabbing a towel.

"Enaku theriyum di nee kannadi munna dhan ninnutu irupa nu" Ashwin said before going for a bath making her pout.

When Ashwin came out after a bath, Sivaangi was applying kajal. He stood behind her and combed his hair. After they left their apartment, he drove them towards bessy beach, got them food in street food stalls and then drove to the private beach area.

Sitting on the sand under a huge light post, they had their dinner speaking about their day and various topics.

"Enga ponum madam ku?" Ashwin asked putting on the seatbelt.

Sivaangi thought for a while and said, "Enga thonudho ponga aana adhuku first enaku ice cream venum Ashwineyy"

Doing whatever Sivaangi wants or ask for comes naturally to Ashwin. He had a tiring day at office but all his tiredness flew away when he came back home to his wife. To see her standing in front of the mirror, getting ready for him, to think there's a soul who's constantly thinking about him and living for him has always overwhelmed him. He'll do anything and go to any extent to keep that smile intact on her lips.

Taking a bite of her kulfi, Sivaangi placed the kulfi stick near Ashwin's lips who had a bite.

"Office join panradha pathi one month kalichu yosichu solren nu sonna" Ashwin said sparing a quick glance at Sivaangi before looking back at the road, "One month achu. Yenna decide paniruka, Sivaangi?"

"Hmmm, adhukula one month agirucha" Sivaangi took another bite of her kulfi.

"Ama. Nee seri nu sonna pudhusa oru project start aga pogudhu. You can join in that one. Unoda skills useful ah irukum"

"Hmmm" Sivaangi placed her hand on top of Ashwin's that's rested on the gear stick, "Ashwineyy?"

"Yenna achu?" Ashwin asked sensing Sivaangi's tone.

"Na onga thol mela saanjukatuma?" Sivaangi said placing the empty kulfi stick on the dashboard.

Ashwin looked at his wife once as he slowed down the car and parked it on road side.

"Inga vaa" Ashwin said removing his seat belt and Sivaangi quickly moved herself and laid her face against his chest. Instinctively his hand moved to her hair, caressing it softly, "Yenna di achu?"

When Sivaangi didn't say anything for few seconds, Ashwin sighed and grabbed her waist pulling her into his lap. Cupping her cheek, he made her look at him and kissed her forehead before looking at her.

Ashwin sighed and hugged Sivaangi to himself when she didn't say anything. He caressed her hair softly as they sat listening to each other's heartbeat.

"Ashwin" Sivaangi looked up placing her chin on Ashwin's chest.

"Hmmm" Ashwin stared at Sivaangi as his fingers played with her hair.

"Morning pill edukura apo onnu dha irundhuchu...potuten" Sivaangi averted her gaze, "Vaangalam nu order poda mobile eduthe... aana...aana..."

Ashwin's lips curl into a half smile on sensing what Sivaangi's hesitating about. The amount of joy bubbling inside him has no bounds. Earlier when they get intimate, they didn't care about protection but looking at how things were at that time he convinced Sivaangi to get on pills to be safe.

Sivaangi wasn't thrilled about that but understanding their situation she gave in. Their life has been a rollercoaster that they didn't talk about baby in a long time. But that doesn't mean it wasn't in Ashwin's mind. He just wanted Sivaangi to be ready for it, given it was her who would be carrying the child. To know that she's on the same mindset thrilled him.

"Psch! Enta hesitate aaga kudathu nu ethana thadava soliruke" Ashwin said slipping his hand inside her top and pinched her bare waist making Sivaangi squeal.

"Ashwineyy!"

"Yenna Ashwineyy, vaaya thorandhu yenna pesanumoh pesu, enta yean di unaku thayakkam?"

"Arrgh! Seri, seri, odanae moraikadhinga" Sivaangi patted Ashwin's cheek and pulled his cheek before looking into his eyes, "Enaku iniyum pills eduka vendam. Endha protection um vendam. Office um join panna vendam. Enaku andha responsibility vida vera oru responsibility dha venum"

With his eyes mirroring the happy glint in Sivaangi's eyes, Ashwin asked softly, "Yenna responsibility venum enoda pondatti ku?"

"Hmmm" Sivaangi pecked Ashwin's lips before cradling his cheek between her palms, "Onga baby ku Amma, adhu dha enaku venum. Our very own bundle of joy. I know I have lost my parents early and you hadn't had a great example of a father but I know we will be good parents. I think I'm ready for this, I think we are ready for this, Ashwin. We can plan for baby now, right?"

A smile bloomed on Ashwin's lips as he leans forward and kissed Sivaangi's forehead before nodding his head. Overjoyed, she beamed widely before crashing her lips on his as they kissed passionately. As soon as they break out of their kiss, she cried out in joy screaming they are going to have a baby soon.

Ashwin had a smile on his face throughout the night as he drove his overjoyed wife home. She kept on talking about baby as she changed into her night wear while he made the bed. He was tired after a long day but she was bouncing on her feet in excitement that he had to pull her to bed. That night with a serene smile Ashwin slept on his wife's chest listening to her while dreaming of a family; their family.
