Ashaangi TS The Family Affair Pt 1

Important note: I'm keeping "The Equation Between Us" TS on hold until I'm mentally ready to write it. With my present state of mind, I don't think I can write it and even if I do, I won't be able to do justice to it. Hope you understand. Also, I won't be writing present reality fics for now, not until my mind's clear.

Disclaimer: This story is a piece of fiction based on author's imagination and has nothing to do with the actual life of Ashwinkumar and Sivaangi Krishnakumar. Again, this is just a fan fiction.

Ashaangi TS The Family Affair

Part I

"Baby...ammu...nillu ma. Nee nenakura mathiri onum ila" Ashwin said as he hurriedly put on his t-shirt while chasing his girl who stormed out of his room.

"Ashwin irunga po-" Sivaangi who was also there, held Ashwin's arm trying to hold him back but he shrugged her off.

"Don't try to come between me and her nu na una ethane thadava soliruke, Sivaangi! Unaku sona puriytha!" Ashwin snapped as he hurriedly grabbed his pants.

"Ammu, nillu ammu. Let me explain!" Ashwin yelled as he walked and hurriedly wore his pants.

"Ashwinn na solratha konc-" Sivaangi tried to talk only to get cut off in mid by Ashwin.

"Sivaangi, please. Let me handle this on my own. You stay out of this! Nee pana vara pothum. Indha prachana ya na handle panikuren!" Ashwin said, his eyes frantically looking for his girl.

Sivaangi's face reflected how hurt she was by Ashwin's words. But his eyes were frantically looking for his girl that he didn't notice any of that. He groaned when he realized he wore his pants' back side to the front and removed it in a hurry to wear it again.

"Ashwin, I do have a say in this! It concerns not just her but me as well!" Sivaangi said making Ashwin turn at her.

"Sivaangi, koncha neram amaithiya irukiya? Let me handle her first!" Ashwin said sternly wearing his pants and groaned again when he wore it wrongly again.

"Ithu vera!" Ashwin huffed as he removed his pants and threw it away.

Ashwin was in his boxer shorts and he took a towel lying on the couch to wrap it around his waist. By seeing the open main door, he figured that his girl went out. He didn't think twice to just walk outside with a towel wrapped around his bottom.

Sivaangi bit back her tears as she wordlessly threw a track pant at Ashwin as he walked towards the main door. He shot a look at Sivaangi, muttered a thank you and wore his pants before running outside his house. He checked both the directions and saw his girl walking at the distance on his right.

Ashwin rushed in that direction.

"Ammu, nillu ammu" Ashwin called out as he followed her.

The girl's steps didn't falter. Rather she increased her walking pace making Ashwin run behind her.

"Ma, nillu ma" Ashwin grabbed her hand making her turn towards him with tear-stricken face making him wince.

"Baby ma, yean ma ipdi panra? Motha veetuku va ma. Anga poe ethunalum pesikalam" Ashwin said pulling the girl's hand but she tried to shrug him off making him tighten his grip.

"Ena vidunga. Na anga vara maten!"

Thankfully Ashwin's house was at an isolated area and there wasn't much of houses and people around. He tried to reason with her to come back home with him. But when she didn't and held her ground of not wanting to come back, Ashwin lost his cool.

"Ashvaa!" Ashwin snapped but then reduced his tone right away on seeing the way she flinched and added in a soft tone, "Ma, ethuva irundhalum namma veetuku poe pesikalam. Appa sona kepa dhana?"

Ashwin studied his teenage daughter's face as he waited for her answer. He finished his late-night shoot and came home only around 3 in night. He dozed off of tiredness wanting to catch up on some well-rested sleep.

But Ashwin had to wake up to his wife and daughter fighting noise. He tried to work things between them but things got out of hand when he made a statement that she thought he made against her and right now, he's standing in the middle of the road trying to convince his daughter to come back home.

"I don't want to talk to her, Pa! Na varala. Ena force panathinga" Ashvaa stood her ground after a moment of silence.

"Ashvaa, she's your mother. Come home. Let's talk it out. You know Sivaangi means well nu. Plea-"

"She slapped me in front of my friends, Appa! Enaku avanga ta pesa vendam!" Ashvaa snapped.

"This is not the right place for this conversation, Ashvaa!" Ashwin said rubbing his temple and fixed his eyes on his first born, "Just look at me. Look at my eyes. I was continuously shooting this whole week. I came home hours before and I'm worn out, Ashvaa. So, please. Just come back with me. Veetuku ula varla na parava ila. Let's sit in the garden and talk"

Ashvaa lifted her eyes to meet her father. His red tired eyes, his dull face...Indeed, he looked worn out. A pang of guilt hit her as she toyed with the red thread on her right wrist. Wiping back her tears, she looked at her father once and nodded her head at him.

Ashwin mentally heaved a sigh and extended his hand towards Ashvaa who placed her hand inside her fathers'. The duo walked silently to their home hand in hand. Ashwin opened the main iron gate and Ashvaa stepped in.

Just as Ashwin closed the big iron main gate, he spotted his daughter walking towards the house garden that's backside of the mansion. Running his finger through his hair in frustration, he walked towards the garden. He's thankful that Sivash is at Coimbatore with his grandparents for vacation as he's sure all his energy would be spent in handling Ashvaa and Sivaangi.

Ashvaa was already seated on the swing in the middle of green grasses when Ashwin stepped into garden area. He walked towards the swing and wordlessly sat by her side. None said a word as they sat facing the mansion in front of them until Ashvaa broke the silence.

"Yenna nadandhuchu nu keka matingala Pa?" Ashvaa who's much calmer than before asked as she turned and looked up at her father.

"I don't know what happened but I hate what I saw so far, Ashvaa" Ashwin said in a distasteful tone making Ashvaa furrow her eyebrows.

"But I told you she slapped me Appa! In front of my friends! You know how embarrassing that was?!" Ashvaa frowned.

"And what did you do that made your mother, who has never raised her hand at you ever since you were born to do that?" Ashwin said as he fixed his stern eyes on his daughter.

"I...She...I just...Athu na..." Ashvaa trailed her words taken aback by Ashwin's stern gaze.

"Ammu, more than a father, I'm your friend. I know you treat me as one. Don't hold back or hesitate with me" Ashwin assured his eyes softened as he placed his hand on top of hers.

"Appa...athu vandhu you know I have a huge crush on Arjun right..." Ashvaa said in a hesitating tone.

"Yaaru? Last annual day function la kaatu vaasi vesham potu aadunaaney, avana?" Ashwin asked making Ashvaa groan.

"Appa!" Ashva said smacking Ashwin's arm who let out a small chuckle.

"Seri, seri. Nee yenna nu sollu ma" Ashwin said putting on a serious face.

"Shalini nu oru ponnu, Pa. Ava en class dhan. Pakka lite ah chubby ah koncham short ah keiya meiya nu pesite irupa. Na mostly enoda friends kuda iruka naala avlo ah yarutayum pesa maten la. So, indha ponnu ta yum pesunathu ila" Ashvaa said while Ashwin listened.

"Seri, andha ponnukum nadandhadhukum yenna ma sambandham?"

"Appa athu...andha Shalini ku Arjun mela crush iruku nu ava avaloda friends ta soli iruka. Avanga elarum avalayum Arjun ah um sethu vachu pesunanga! Enala athu thaanga mudiyala! I mean he's my crush and I know he has a crush on me too! Enaku ava panathu suthama pidikala!"

"Ashvaa this is no-" Ashwin was about to advice but then stopped himself and asked her to continue on what happened.

"Enoda friend andha Shalini ooda friend kita I have a crush on him nu soliyum Shalini Arjun ah dhan crush nu solitu irundha. Nethu na enoda friends ooda after classes Amma ku wait panitu iruka apo she and her friends came that way. My friends told her and her friends thevai ilama crush nu solitu iruka vendam nu. Aprm naanum sonen avala Arjun pathi ipdi pesa vendam nu. Aana she and her friends spoke a lot. Kovathula I don't know what came over me. I scolded her. Apo amma anga vandhutanga. She didn't even let me explain anything. She just slapped me in front of everyone and took me from there!"

Ashwin studied his daughter's face. He can understand that she looked hurt and angry. But Ashwin knows Sivaangi would never rise her hands at their daughter unless something big happened.

"Nee apdi yenna ma sona andha ponna?"

"Appa, she looks like a dwarf in front of Arjun. Athu matum ila ava voice kekavey irritating ah irukum. Ava Arjun ku set eh aga mata. Summa keiya meiya nu elartayum poe pesuva. Avala pasangaley ithuku neraya thadava kalachurukanga. Aana iva suma suma Arjun ta poe pesa try pana. Athan na ava ta sonen ipdi kullama chubby ah keiya meiya nu kichu voice la pesuna endha paiyan um thirumbi paka matan. Stay away from Arjun, avanuku una pidikathu. I have a crush on him and I'm sure he feels the same way about me nu sonen."

When Ashvaa finished, Ashwin mentally facepalmed himself as he clenched his jaws on hearing his daughter's words. Did she really body shammed a person, made fun of a person in front of people and thought it wasn't a big deal? Now everything made sense to him!

~ * ~

Hey guys, hope you all are doing good. I know its short. Hope you enjoyed reading the story. Like I said, I'm putting The Equation Between Us on hold. With everything that happened, I know we all know the reality but that plot is very much based on what Sivaangi feels and after getting a statement like that, I couldn't get into the character's skin to write the story right away. I ended up looking at the screenshot whenever I try to type the chapter. Need some time.

I was supposed to update earlier but I fell sick right after I posted Part II of the TS. I was at hospital for a whole day and got IV for 3 consecutive days and I'm fine now.

So, how's the story? Any word on that?

Thank you for reading.

Nan ~
