Part Two

Ashwin was driving around their college area leisurely, spending time with Sivaangi, singing along with the song playing on the radio. Since AKAC is away from the crowded city, the road wasn't crowded as expected.

Sivaangi has a gifted voice. Although people used to make fun of her voice, no one can deny that it's a magic when she sings. Whenever Ashwin feels low or that he couldn't sleep at night, he would either make Sivaangi sing or listens to her pre-recorded songs.

Sivaangi turned off the radio and sang "Munbe va" on Ashwin's request and he was lost in her voice as he tapped his fingers on the steering wheel, admiration oozing out of his eyes for his girl. In between Sivaangi's singing, Ashwin made a "kolriyeh di" action to Sivaangi making her laugh.

Just as Sivaangi finished singing the song,

"Aduthu Kanna veesi paduriya, Sivaangi ma?" Ashwin asked as he threw a glance at Sivaangi before fixing his gaze on the road, a smile of admiration dancing on his lips.

"Inoru song ah?" Sivaangi asked with a cute pout.

"Enakaga pada matiya?" Ashwin asked in a deep tone as he fixed his eyes on Sivaangi.

'Damn him and his base voice!' Sivaangi thought to herself.

"Padanum ah?" Sivaangi melted as Ashwin gave her a lopsided smile before nodding at her and fixing his eyes on the rood.

And there goes another round of singing. Sivaangi wrapped her hand around Ashwin's arm and placed her head against Ashwin's shoulder as she sang, making sure not to disturb him from driving.

Once Sivaangi's done with the song, Ashwin leaned down on the side and placed a kiss on Sivaangi's hairline, making her smile in content. Sivaangi looked up at Ashwin, leaned up and placed a kiss on his cheek, earning a glee smile in return.

"Song epdi?" Sivaangi asked with a wide smile.

"As always, super Sivaangi ma" Ashwin said gesturing a 'super' with his fingers making her grin at him.

"Seri inum oru-" Ashwin started but was cut in middle by Sivaangi.

"Podhum, podhum. Date nu solitu vandhadhula irundhu inga verum concert ah dhan poetu iruku" Sivaangi quickly said making Ashwin chuckle.

"Seri ma, Seri ma calm down" Ashwin said laughing at Sivaangi who glared at him before breaking into a laugh.

"Ama, ena Ashwinnn, namma college area ah vey round adichutu irukinga?" Sivaangi asked as she tugged his shirt "Apdi enga porom?"

"Athu surprise Sivaangi ma"

"Parava ila solunga Ashwineyy" Sivaangi whined trying to get Ashwin speak up about the surprise "Ongaluku theriyum la enaku ipdi ethachum sona mind la athu matum dhan oodum nu"

Ashwin received his driver's text saying that everything's ready as per their plan and asked him to reach the destination. Ashwin replied that he'll be there shortly and changed the pace of driving. Sivaangi noticed the change in pace and decided to try her luck.

"Ashwinn, ipo achum solunga. Namma enga porom?"

"Athan surprise nu sonen la, Sivaangi ma. Konjam wait panu"

"Fine" Sivaangi agreed her defeat as she pursed her arms together and pouted.

"Ena madam ku kovam ah?" Ashwin asked biting back his smile.

"Ila Ashwin sir, na wait panitu iruke" Sivaangi said turning her face away making Ashwin smile.

"Seri, seri, kovam padatha Sivaangi ma. Rendu ice cream sethu vangi tharen indha month"

Ashwin doesn't allow Sivaangi to have more than three Ice creams a month for two reasons. First reason is she sings and the second one is she has sinusitis. Sivaangi was about to smile and turn to look at him but stopped as an idea entered her mind. She gave it a thought before putting her negotiating skills into practice.

"10 Ice creams extra ah vangi tharanum indha month" Sivaangi said putting on a stern face.

"10 ah?" Ashwin rolled his eyes at Sivaangi "Unaku extra rendu nu sonathey perusu"

"Seri oru 8 kuda okay dhan" Sivaangi said on hearing his reply.

"Vaipu ila"

"Seri, oru 6?"

"Nee rendu renda korachalum ila na ila dhan" Ashwin said making Sivaangi pout.

"Seri sona extra renda achum vangi thanga"

"Nee ivlo vai pesuna la, ipo athuvum kedayathu" Ashwin said coolly ignoring Sivaangi's surprised gasp.

"Hein?" Sivaangi was taken aback "Apo verum moonu dhan ah?"

"Correct uh" Ashwin said giving a wide smile to Sivaangi.

"Ada po Ashwineyy. Ithellam bongu"

Ashwin laughed out. Their banter continued on Ice creams for a few more minutes before Ashwin decided to put a smile on his doll's face.

"Seri ithellam vidu, unaku pidicha Blueberry pie bake pani tharen, okay ah?"

On the mention of Blueberry pie, Sivaangi's face lighted up as a big smile broke on her lips. She turned to Ashwin and nodded her head with a bright smile making Ashwin laugh.

Soon they fell into comfortable conversation. While Sivaangi went on talking, Ashwin listened for the most part and spoke when needed.

"Ama, neenga en ena summa Sivaangi ma, Sivaangi ma nu kuptutu irukinga? Avan avan girlfriend ah baby, darling, dear, chelamma, kannamma, etc. nu kupduran. Neengalum dhan irukinga ley. Thera matinga Ashwineyy, theravey matinga"

Sivaangi faked a disappointed look which Ashwin see through completely. He bit back his smile and played along.

"So, you want me to call you with endearments, Baby?" Ashwin said in a teasing tone.

Sivaangi felt weird when Ashwin called her baby. She scrunched her nose and made a face.

"Baby ah? No! Vera ethachum naladha yosinga Ashwineyy" Sivaangi said turning on her seat and facing Ashwin.

"Apo darling ok va?" Ashwin asked as he threw a glance at Sivaangi before focussing on the road ahead.

"Ada ena pa aalu neenga? Suthama taste eh ila ongaluku Ashwineyy" Sivaangi declared, facing straight and then turn towards Ashwin and started her lecture "Lakshmikanthan sir ta irundhu koncham achum kathukonga. Avar onga amma va 'Ammani' nu kupduvaru. Aana neenga? Huh! Koncham aachum creative ah yosinga"

"Na appa ta irundhu kathukanum ah?" Ashwin laughed out "By the way, na unaku already nalla name ah yosichu vachuten"

"Aiyada neenga la? Nambiten pa"

"Nejama dhan. Nambu ma"

"Edhu neenga la? Romantic ah oru quote enakaga eludhunga nu sonathuku 'My financial market (heart) has collapsed. Please invest in my market and we'll overcome the bankruptcy together' nu eludhi kudutha aalu dhaney neenga"

"En di ena ipdi damage panra?" Ashwin said making Sivaangi laugh at his cuteness.

Sivaangi looked at Ashwin curiously while he drove the car into a private property called Agasthya Gardens. Sivaangi looked around while Ashwin spoke with the guard.

'Agasthya Gardens ah?' Sivaangi thought to herself as she read "Agasthya Gardens" engraved in the wall of the property.

"Ithu ena place?"

"You'll know soon. As of now, close your eyes" Ashwin instructed while driving inside the property.

"En Ashwineyy?"

"Surprise Sivaangi ma. Come on, Kanna moodu"

Sivaangi nodded and closed her eyes with a curious smile. Her smile widens when waves sound hit her ears.

'Aiii, beach ah?' Sivaangi thought to herself as she clasped her hands together in excitement.

"Seri ipo solunga, ena name athu?" Sivaangi asked composing herself.

Ashwin looked at Sivaangi who looked super cute to him at that moment. He stopped the car where he wanted to, unbuckled his seatbelt and leaned over to Sivaangi's side.

"Aii ena panringa Ashwinn?"

Sivaangi sensed Ashwin's breath fanning over her face. Ashwin nuzzled his nose against Sivaangi's ears before grazing his lips on her ear shell making her heart quicken.

"Ena nu solava, Sivaangi ma?" Ashwin said in a deep voice while Sivaangi felt goosebumps hearing his voice. His base voice is one of her major weakness and she just nodded her head weakly.

"Solu di, solava venam ah?"

"Haan...solunga Ash..winn" Sivaangi managed to say.

Ashwin's proximity always affects Sivaangi and he enjoys the affect he has on her.

"Kiruki" Ashwin said while placing a soft kiss against Sivaangi's cheek.

Sivaangi opened her eyes as she scoffed at what Ashwin called her and turned to glare at him. Before she could say anything, Ashwin turned Sivaangi's face to look front by grabbing her chin.

Sivaangi tried to turn to his direction but looked straight when she caught the scene in front of her. Sivaangi's eyes sparkled in excitement as she turned towards Ashwin with a big smile and hugged him.

"Thank you Ashwineyy" Sivaangi said giving him a long kiss on Ashwin's cheek while he chuckled at her reaction.

It was a drive-in theatre with big screen and beach backdrop. The new Rohit Saraf movie which Sivaangi wanted to watch was about to start. Few cars are already lined up in front of them. Sivaangi was thrilled. It is the first movie she's going to watch with Ashwin and it is of her favourite actor. What more does she need?

"Ipo sandhosama?" Ashwin asked, looking at Sivaangi who stared back at him with smiling eyes.

"Rombaveyy" Sivaangi replied, charging herself into Ashwin's arms while he held her and smiled seeing her happy "I love you, Ashwineyy"

"I love you, Kulukulu" Ashwin said while placing a kiss on her head and hugged her back before moving away.

"Neenga ipo ena enanu kuptinga?" Sivaangi asked surprised.

"Kulukulu nu kupten. Nee dhan ena name nu ketute irundhiyeh. Epdi iruku?" Ashwin asked giving a lopsided smile.

"Kulukulu ah? Kekavey nala irukey Ashwineyy" Sivaangi said giving an impressed smile at Ashwin and asked with a teasing smile "Ama, athenna Kulukulu?"

"Nee ena pakura apo, nee enta pesura apo, nee ena pathu sirikura apo, nee ena kalaikura apo, nee padura apo, nee ena kolandha mathiri care panra apo, enaku apdiyeh ula irundhu oru feeling varum. Stress, problems, kastam, elam marandhu na apdiyeh relax agiruve. Unala matum dhan enaku indha feeling ah kuduka mudiyum. Andha feeling ku enaku name therla aana orey Kulukulu nu irukum. Athan Kulukulu, enoda Kulukulu"

Sivaangi stared at the man in front of her, his eyes holding unconditional love and endless admiration for her. Sivaangi leaned in and cupped Ashwin's face between her hands and placed a kiss against his forehead.

Sivaangi let her lips linger there for a moment before she slightly pulled back and met Ashwin's eyes shining with content. She locked their foreheads together and let their noses brush against each other before pulling away from Ashwin.

"Theritinga Ashwiney" Sivaangi said slightly blushing while Ashwin tugged her strands behind her ear and caressed her cheek with his thumb.

"Va Sivaangi ma, car bonnet la okaralam. Movie start aga pothu" Ashwin said while Sivaangi nodded in excitement.

They both got down from the car. The beach breeze put a smile on their face as they relaxed and wounded their hands together. Sivaangi looked the whole place in admiration while Ashwin had his eyes fixed on his girl, admiring her.

Ashwin knows that Sivaangi loves beaches. She had mentioned it few times, asking him to take her and he knew this place would be perfect for their first date. Ashwin could have arranged for a private screening but he wanted her to know that he has no problem to go out in public with her, of course with caution.

Ashwin held Sivaangi by her waist, picked her and placed her on the car bonnet. He asked her to wait for few minutes and came back with popcorn and her favourite pizza for them.

Ashwin then climbed on his own and placed himself comfortably next to Sivaangi. He wrapped his one arm around Sivaangi while she snuggled into his embrace as she placed her head on his chest.

For Ashwin and Sivaangi, nothing could be better than this for their first date.
