Ashaangi SS Entwined

Part III | A |

One of master's men knocked the door and informed Ashwin that Sandy has called them out and soon, Baba Baskar Master himself would come visit them. Once raid issue gets sorted then they all can go their own way.

Just as that guy left, Sivaangi who was lying beneath the sheet sat up and Ashwin filled her in.

"Master inga varuvara apo?" Sivaangi asked in a voice that's filled with slight fear yet amusement and curiosity.

"Ama"

"Super, Ashwinn. Nammaluku help panathuku avaruku thanks solanum" Sivaangi said enthusiastically making Ashwin roll his eyes at her.

"Unna kadathi adachu vacha gumbal um irukum. Avanungalukum sethu thanks solu" Ashwin scoffed and that was enough for Sivaangi to get on her feet and move towards Ashwin.

"Ena vitutu poera matinga dhana?" Sivaangi asked as she wounded her arms around Ashwin's bicep while he looked down at her.

Ashwin didn't reply Sivaangi's question. Rather, he said,

"Dress ah maathitu va, inneram saree dry agirukum"

A smile touched Sivaangi's lips as she nodded her head and picked her saree from the ground. Ashwin went inside the washroom. So, she quickly draped the saree as best as she could.

"Ashwineyy" Sivaangi knocked the washroom door with her shoulder as her hands were busy holding the saree at place.

"Ena?" Sivaangi heard a faint reply from behind.

"Saree ah kalatuninga, seri. Safety pins lam enga?" Sivaangi asked as she slightly leaned against the washroom door.

Couple of seconds later, the washroom door opened with Ashwin pulling his t-shirt over him.

"Saree ah naan dhan kalatunen nu oru oru thadava um stress panrathu avasiyama?" Ashwin rolled his eyes at Sivaangi making her giggle.

"Seri, seri, takkunu eduthu kudunga, Ashwineyy" Sivaangi said walking towards the bed.

Once Ashwin gave the safety pins, Sivaangi started to secured her saree with pin. Within couple of minutes, she was nearly done and adjusting her pleats.

"Veliya ponathum yaarayum paka kudathu. Anavasiyama pesa kudathu. Unta pesuna matum pathil solu. Naan oru flow la pesuren. Atha catch paniko" Ashwin instructed Sivaangi but she was too busy fixing her saree pleats.

"Aii, unta dhana solren, kandukama saree ah-"

"Aiyoo, neenga sonathu lam ketuchu, Ashwineyy. Paru, nee saree kalutuna naala-"

"Inum oruka naan saree ah kalatunen nu sona aprm naaney uruvi potruven pathuko!" Ashwin said rolling his eyes at Sivaangi making her giggle.

"Seri, seri. Solala" Sivaangi bit back her smile as she stared at Ashwin and added, "Idha pidinga"

Sivaangi took her pallu on the shoulder that's covering her front and extended it towards Ashwin who glared at her. She noticed it and quickly added,

"Ashwineyy, ena moraikatha!" Sivaangi whined and added, "Pin pana dhan olunga nickum, athan eduthen"

"Athuku nu ipdi ya di nippa?" Ashwin scoffed.

"Naan epdi ninnalum onga kannu enn kanna dhana pakuthu, aprm yenna?" Sivaangi said with a shrug and shaking his head, Ashwin held the saree pleat for her and stared at the wall behind her while she arranged the pleats and pinned it.

"Inum vera yethachum vela vachurukiya?" Ashwin scoffed.

"Ipothiku idhu pothum. Balance ah namma aprm pathukalam, Ashwineyy" Sivaangi gave a suggestive wink.

"Nee thirundha mata di" Ashwin rolled his eyes at Sivaangi who giggled.

"Ada po, Ashwineyy. Athellam oru a-"

Before Sivaangi could say anything, a knock interrupted them. Both became alert and Ashwin went towards the door, opened it and spoke to the person on the other side. He closed the door and told her that they need to go out now.

Sivaangi hid herself behind Ashwin as soon as the shutter after the door was lifted.

"Bayapadaama va" Ashwin whispered on sensing that Sivaangi's tensed.

Sivaangi didn't reply. Rather she clutched Ashwin's t-shirt and moved along with him still hiding herself behind him.

"Avanga ena katti potu adachu vachurundhanga. Yepdi bayapadaama iruka?" Sivaangi whispered to Ashwin as she pressed herself to his back.

"Athan unn kuda naan iruken la. Aprm yenna?"

That did calm down Sivaangi for a moment and she peaked from Ashwin's back to take a look at people outside the shutter. She saw Sandy and recognized him right away. Her hold on Ashwin tightened as she hid herself behind him.

"Ashwineyy, ena kadathuna anna lam irukanga paru" Sivaangi whispered to Ashwin.

"Kadathunavan anna va? Vita elarayum annan aakiruva polaruku" Ashwin scoffed and added, "Bayapadatha, Master irukaru, unn nonnan unna onnum pana matan"

"Master irukara?" Sivaangi's ears perked at the mention of Baba Basker and asked, "Enga irukaru?"

"Atho, anga early 40s la rendu per nikkuranga la, avangala la-"

Sivaangi didn't pay any heed to rest of Ashwin's words as she marched forward towards the guys in their 40s.

"Aii, nillu!" Ashwin whispered yelled worried but Sivaangi kept walking ahead.

Baba Baskar looked at the girl who walked towards him, his eyebrows scrunched in confusion before he recognized her.

"Neenga dhan Baba Baskar ah?" Sivaangi asked standing few meters away from him, her voice filled with innocence, hesitation curiosity and a tinge of fear that amused Baba Baskar, his lips curved into a small genuine smile.

"Naan dhan da ma" Baba Baskar couldn't help but say gently and the next moment he was engulfed in a hug by Sivaangi making everyone including Master and Ashwin to gasp.

"Thank you so much, Pa!" Sivaangi squealed as she broke apart and looked straight at Baba Baskar with a smile that moved his heart then and there.

"Ivaroda seranum nu enaku pala varsha aasai, kanavu. Enoda chithapa ta kaati kudukama enga rendu perayum sethu vachathuku romba thanks Pa" Sivaangi continued.

While everyone trained their eyes on Baba Baskar waiting for his reaction, he looked at Sivaangi with a small gasp before a fond smile grew on his lips. Her lips mirrored the same smile as Master patted her head fondly.

"Parava ila irukatum da ma" Master said and looked at Ashwin, "Nalla ponna dhan da AK pidichuruka"

"Avaru enga pidicharu, naan dhan gettiya pidichu vachuruken ivlo varushama" Sivaangi said in a flow and kept mum with a pout when Ashwin threw a glare at her gesturing her to keep quiet.

"Avala enn da moraikura?" Master shook his head at Ashwin before looking at Sivaangi, "Avan apdi dhan, sidu moonji, kandukatha. Nee solu, unnoda peru yenna ma?"

"Sivaangi Pa" Sivaangi replied with a wide smile and added, "Aprm ivaru sidu moonji lam ila Pa. Koncham tension aavaru aana athu pasamaana tension, avlo dhan"

"Athu seri. Madam avana vittu kuduka matingalo" Baba Baskar chuckled and noticed Sivaangi's appearance, "Enn ma kathula kaila ethuvum podama iruka? Kalyanam aga pora ponnu, ithellam podama irundha epdi?"

"Atha enn kekuringa, Pa. Idho, indha anna aprm indha anna aprm indha anna, ivangalam dhan enoda jewels la lam eduthutanga" Sivaangi said mockingly glaring at Sandy and co.

"Dei, indha ponnu ta edutha jewels ah lam return panunga. Andha paiyan amma treatment ku naan Bala va kuduka solren" Baba Baskar told Sandy and then turned to Bala, "Maganey, indha ponnu-"

"Indha ponnu, ila. Sivaangi nu kupdunga" Sivaangi interrupted making Baba Baskar smile while Ashwin quickly walked towards Sivaangi.

"Seri, Sivaangi seriya?" Baba Baskar asked making Sivaangi nod before he turned towards Bala, "Sivaangi ku enna jewels venumoh, atha ketu namma jeweler ta soli seiya solu. Kalyanathukula elam ready ah irukanum"

"Master, ithellam yethuku? Onum thevai ila" Ashwin said as he wrapped his arm around Sivaangi making her look up at him.

"Athu epdi mudiyum? Naan dhan onga rendu per kum kalyanam pani vaikuren nu soliruken la" Master deadpanned and added, "Indha rowdy kumbal la thadapudala pana mudiyathu naalum indha ponna...Sivaangi ah ponna nenachu naan jewels poda kudatha yenna?"

"Athuku ila, Master..." Ashwin trailed his words, not knowing what to say. He came up with a lie of getting married to save themselves from the situation but with Master involved, Ashwin wasn't sure if they could get out of it.

"Ithellam enaku vendam, Pa. Ennoda amma ooda jewels ah matum enaku return pana podhum" Sivaangi said.

"Yenna neenga rendu per um, enn pechu ku maruvarthai pesite irukinga?" Baba Baskar said in a stern voice that made them mum, "AK enn kuda va"

Ashwin asked Sivaangi to stay put by Bala's side and went along with Baba Baskar while Sivaangi made small conversations with Bala. That's when Sandy and co walked towards her.

"Aii, yenna nee, engalayeh potu kudukuriya?" Raju asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Neenga epdi venum naalum vachukalam" Sivaangi scoffed that looked like a kitten getting angry that Raju, Bala and Mano laughed while Sandy stared at her intently and then narrowed his gaze.

"Idho paru, athu-" Mano started but Sivaangi cut him in middle.

"Neenga motha inga parunga!" Sivaangi said extending her both arms and added, "Enn kai full ah epdi valichuthu theriyuma! Enn neyy ipdi pana?"

The guys were taken aback when Sivaangi mentioned Mano as brother. Even Sandy who was staring away looked at her.

"Annan ah?" Mano asked bewildered.

"Ama, neenga patu ipdi katti vachutinga, enaku evlo valichutu theiryuma. Ini lam ipdi panadha neyy" Sivaangi said and turned towards Bala, "Anney, enaku cool drinks kudikanum pola craving ah iruku. Vaangi tharinga la neyy?"

The guys were amused and surprised with the way Sivaangi conversed with them that they couldn't help but talk to her. Sandy, who was silent throughout broke his silence.

"Sorry, athu oru uyir samandha patta vishayam. Avasiyam naala dhan unna kadathi jewels eduthu adachu vaikura mathiri agiruchu" Sandy genuinely apologized.

Sivaangi blinked at Sandy twice before nodding at him with a small smile.

"Ini apdi panadhinga anna. Bayama irundhuchu" Sivaangi said and turned to Mano asking him about the police raid.

Sandy was amused by Sivaangi's words.

'Indha sidu moonji AK ku ipdi oru ponna! Ivala nala pathukita seri dhan' Sandy thought shaking his head and silently listened to what Sivaangi and rest of guys speaking and laughing about.

When Master and Ashwin came back, Ashwin's jaws were clenched and he looked disturbed. Master was saying something continuously to him and he kept nodding as they walked towards everyone. Ashwin noticed the guys around Sivaangi and quickly wrapped his arm around her and pulled her to himself.

"Dei Bala, andha box ah ivanga rendu per kum kaami" Baba Baskar said.

"Seri, Chithappa" Bala said and took out a small jewel box from his bag.

Bala opened the box showing it to Ashwin and Sivaangi. Their breath hitched as they saw mangalyam pendant inside the box. They looked at each other before looking at the box again and then at Baba Baskar.

"Yepdi, nalla iruku la? Naaney select panathu. Raid prachana mudinchathum chinnatha kalyanam vachukalam" Baba Baskar said and Ashwin swallowed, his eyes stuck on the mangalyam while Baba Baskar's words before minutes continued ringing in his mind.

Ashwin and Sivaangi have discussed the situation, teased and laughed about it but seeing the mangalyam pendant, it was as if the heat of current situation actually dawned to them. With thudding heart, they looked at each other.

Reason why it takes time for me to update consistently. So, I have decided to at least try give regular updates by breaking it.
