Ashaangi SS Entwined

Part II | B |

Sivaangi felt lightheaded when she groaned and tried to open her eyes. Scrunching her eyes, she tried to ease the throbbing pain by blinking rapidly. Yawning, she looked at the strange ceiling above and instead of panicking right away, she tried to recollect where she is.

Slowly the last day's incidents flashed before her eyes making Sivaangi's eyes go wide. The way she escaped from her wedding, the way she got kidnapped, how she met Ashwin...wait, Ashwin! Where's Ashwin?

Lost in her thoughts, Sivaangi tried to sit up but looked down when she felt something weighing her down. She saw a man's head lying on her chest making her jerk for a moment but she quickly realized by his features that it was Ashwin.

Calming her racing heart, Sivaangi took her time to look down at Ashwin who's sprawled all over her, his head resting on her chest, his hand over her bare stomach and his leg over hers making her heart race again while a blush crept on her cheeks.

Sivaangi couldn't believe that she saw Ashwin last night. When he held her from falling, her fear vanished because she knew he would save her and protect her. After years, she saw him up close. She hugged him for first time. Everything felt surreal to her.

Although it has been years since Sivaangi proposed Ashwin and years since he left, her feelings for him remained unchanged. Sivaangi's love for Ashwin was one among few biggest reasons why she didn't want to get married to her uncle's choice and ran away from her wedding. It was the same reason why she was to leave to Coimbatore along with Sakthi before she got kidnapped.

Yes, Sivaangi was on her way to meet Ashwin. Even though she wasn't in contact with him all these years, she was in contact with Rakshan and Pugazh who have helped her love during college time. She would talk to either Rakshan or Pugazh once in two or three months. She knows they are involved in hacking and stuffs. So, they'll contact her on their own and she would ask about Ashwin and his wellbeing through them.

Sivaangi decided that she would present herself in front of Ashwin only when she's of marriage age and asked her brothers not to say anything about her to him till then. A month ago, the last time she and Rakshan spoke, she told Rakshan about her uncle making a move and forcing her to get married. He gave her an address and go there only if she feels she have to run away and stay safe until they call and come to pick her.

Fate has played its game and Sivaangi did met Ashwin but not in a way Sivaangi planned but in the way the universe has conspired and brought them together. What her uncle's state would be, who kidnapped her, what happened in-between everything slipped from her mind. The only thought filled in her mind was one guy and that guy is all over her, sleeping like a baby.

'Ivaru yenna ipdi paduthrukaru?' Sivaangi wondered to herself, fighting the urge to wove her fingers into his locks, 'Chennai la yenna panitu irukaru? Pugazh anna ivaru Mumbai la work panraru nu dhana sonaru'

Sivaangi's mind were then filled with Ashwin's thoughts. How would he react when he wakes up? Would he be happy to see her after all these years? Will the way he looks at her change? Would he push her away like before or would he keep her with him forever?

Sivaangi blush smiled when Ashwin stirred in his sleep and snuggled more into her. She couldn't help but take it as the universe's way of answering her that he would be there for her. She gasped when she felt his cold fingers grazing her bare stomach and his hair brushing against her neck result of his stirring.

Gulping, Sivaangi looked down again trying to compose her racing heart. As she looked down, she noticed what she's wearing. She wasn't in her saree anymore but in her in-skirt and a t-shirt. She looked around and found her saree sprawled over the floor.

Knowing Ashwin and his character, Sivaangi just shrugged, told herself he would have changed her dress for a reason and gentle laced her fingers with his soft locks. She hasn't seen his face yet and she badly wanted to see him now. The patience she had for all these years worn thin. So, she slowly held his head and tried to sat up.

Gently pushing his hand off her bare stomach, with a blush still intact on her face, Sivaangi carefully placed Ashwin next to her on the bed, her eyes stuck on his face as she softly caressed his hair before she sat up, adjusted her t-shirt and stretched her sore limbs.

Sivaangi looked around the room taking in her surroundings. The last thing she remember was getting out of the cupboard and falling into Ashwin's arms before she succumbed to darkness. She had no clue what happened between then and now but all she could think is of how he didn't leave her behind but took her with him. He must have recognized her. That very thought brought a big smile on her face.

Feeling parched and slightly dizzy, Sivaangi looked around and found a water bottle on the floor next to bed. She reached for the bottle and that's when she saw bruised marks on her hands.

"Andha anna ku arivey illa! Ipdiya tight ah katti poduvanga. Cheh!" Sivaangi grumbled under her breath.

Sivaangi took the water bottle and had water. Once quenching her thirst, she wiped her lips and placed the bottle down before looking at Ashwin. Making sure that he's sleeping soundly, she blew on the tresses falling over his face.

Dipping one elbow on the bed and placing her hand on her palm, Sivaangi laid beside Ashwin. With adoration, admiration and love twinkling in her black orbs, she stared at her man and softly traced his beard with her index finger.

"Thoongura paiyan mela advantage edukuratha nenachalum parava illa" Sivaangi muttered as she stared at Ashwin before leaning down towards him and did what she wanted to do for years - kissed his bearded cheek; his beard pricked her lips.

"Kuthunaalum nala dhan iruku" Sivaangi mumbled as she gazed at Ashwin with a dreamy smile, her face inches apart from his.

"Irukum la"

Startled, Sivaangi moved away with wide eyes and gasped softly, her lips forming a small O. Ashwin lazily opened his eyes and stared at her as he placed both hands behind his head.

"Ash...Ashwin" Sivaangi stammered under Ashwin's intense gaze.

"Yenna di panitu irundha?" Ashwin asked his morning deep voice making Sivaangi's heart flip a beat.

On missing warmth, Ashwin woke up when Sivaangi moved him from her. As he was tired, he tried to catch up on his sleep without waking up but this girl's presence and antics was too overpowering for him to sleep that he was about to wake up but paused when he felt her caressing his locks.

When she kissed him, he was taken aback. They just met last night after years. He knew she had feelings for him when he first met her but didn't expect her to feel the same after all these years. So, when she kissed him, it came as a shocker for him. But for reasons unknown to himself, a part of him was happy that he still holds the same place in her heart.

"Ah dha bha dha" Sivaangi swallowed her words on not knowing what to say and averted her gaze from Ashwin who's staring at her. He couldn't help but tease her. Her presence overpowered his senses that he decided just to go with the flow.

"Yenna panitu irundha nu keta vai la type adichutu iruka" Ashwin commented amused, his eyes lingered on her mouth for a moment before meeting her eyes.

"Athu...athu... haan, ongaluku yenna nyabagam iruka Ashwineyy?" Sivaangi asked diverting the topic.

Ashwin eyed at Sivaangi from top to bottom and bottom to top before meeting her eyes and tilt his head slightly.

"Huh?"

"Nyabagam iruku" Ashwin said as he sat up.

Sivaangi's lips curled into a big smile on hearing this.

"Enaku theriyum neenga yenna marandhruka matinga nu, Ashwineyy!" Sivaangi said sitting properly and excitedly added, "Yean na namma wavelength, telepathy apdi"

Ashwin shook his head at Sivaangi who went on to talk about how she always knew he would remember her and identify her even after years. She didn't even give a chance for him to open his mouth. He rolled his eyes at her and decided to shut her up.

"Yethuku di ena kiss pana?" Ashwin asked with an eyebrow raised making Sivaangi go mum and give her signature thirutu muli for getting caught while he hid his smile on seeing her averting her gaze.

Sivaangi quickly composed herself on noticing Ashwin staring at her, expecting her to speak up, a teasing smile playing on his lips which, sadly he couldn't hide. She thought for a moment as she trained her eyes at him before she made up her mind.

"Love panra paiyana yethuku kiss panuvanga?" Sivaangi asked calmly with a smile and an eyebrow raised taking Ashwin aback. He had a hint that she still has feelings for him but listening her expressing it to his face made him tongue-tied for a moment.

"Inum nee idha vidalaya?" Ashwin sighed and averted his gaze from Sivaangi.

"Enoda words ah neenga lite ah edukurathuku naan inum neenga nenakira mathiri chinna ponnu kedayathu. Rendu degree mudichuten. Enaku 25 vayasu aguthu! I know what I feel and I'm sure of who's in my heart!" Sivaangi said in a serious tone.

Ashwin kept mum.

"Ashwin! Naan solr-"

"Nethu evlo periya sambavam nadandhuchu, athu yenna achu, yenna nadandhuchu, inga epdi vandhom ipdi ethachum kekurala nu paru!" Ashwin muttered loud enough for Sivaangi to hear.

"Aiyo, ama la. Ena kidnap panitanga Ashwineyy!" Sivaangi's face fell as she recalled yesterday's events as she looked at him. Ashwin noticed her change of expression and heaved a sigh.

"Kaapathi kuptu vandha entayeh kidnap panitanga nu solra" Ashwin rolled his eyes at Sivaangi and then muttered to himself in low voice, "Makku"

"Nethu night nadu rood la yenna panitu irundha? Kalyanam pidikala na mothalayeh stop panirukalam la, yethuku ipdi oduna?" Ashwin asked, his eyes fixed on her.

"Naan andha kalyanam ku samadham eh solala, Ashwin. Force pani arrange pananga. Manasula ongala vachutu inoruthara epdi kalyanam panika mudiyum? Athunala dhan anga irundhu oodunen" Sivaangi said, looked straight into Ashwin's eyes and added, "Onga kitta varalam nu"

Ashwin averted his eyes and massaged his forehead. He scratched his head and looked at her. Before he could say something, she started speaking again.

"Naan ennoda chithapa aalunga ta irundhu thapichu vandha apo dhan ena oru gumbal kadathitanga. Naan potrundha jewels kaaga dhan irukum nu nenakuren" Sivaangi said wondering the possibilities.

"Yenna nadandhuchu nu naan solren" Ashwin said putting an end to her misery and narrated whatever that happened.

Sivaangi listened patiently to Ashwin's words but her face showed a myriad of reactions. When he finished, she frowned at him for a moment before she closed her mouth. He rolled his eyes when she opened her mouth again but scrunched her eyebrows and closed her mouth.

Just when Ashwin was about to speak, Sivaangi's frown appear back before her eyes went wide with sparkle of delight and a wide smile appeared on her lips.

"Ashwineyy!!"

Ashwin got startled when Sivaangi yelled his name all a sudden.

"Yean di kathura?! Inga dhana iruken" Ashwin made a face but Sivaangi couldn't care less.

"Nee sonathu elam unmaiya Ashwineyy?" Sivaangi asked, trying to keep her excitement on hold but couldn't and kept smiling and grinning as she held his arm.

"Ethuku ipo kiruki mathiri sirikura? Unma dhan" Ashwin said puzzled with the way Sivaangi's reacting and gentle removed her hold from his arm.

'Namma sonna vishayathula mandai kolaragirucho' Ashwin wondered to himself.

"Aiyo! Enala nambavey mudiyalayeh" Sivaangi was shaking with happiness, moving her hands here and there alarming Ashwin who dodged her arm from hitting his face.

"Aii!" Ashwin tried to hold Sivaangi but she was flapping her hands as she smiled, her body shaking with happiness.

Couple of minutes later, Ashwin mentally facepalmed himself on watching Sivaangi still going on with flapping her arms and smiling. Her arm even smacked against his head making him huff. He by then realized that she won't stop anytime soon.

So, Ashwin moved quickly and grabbed Sivaangi's arms. Before she could react, he pinned her on the bed with his body and held her hands above her head. She was sure taken aback but a smile still stayed on her lips as her black orbs stared into his brown ones while her heart did a summersault before racing at high speed, his body on hers making it hard for her to think.

'Enga ipo siri papom' Ashwin thought to himself as he smirked mentally on seeing a tongue-tied Sivaangi. He waited for couple of seconds before mentally heaving a sigh.

"Yethuku di ipdi sirikura?" Ashwin asked in a deep voice making Sivaangi's heart flutter but her reason for happiness crossed her mind making her smile.

"Varthai la adaka mudiyatha sandhosam. Athan sirikuren" Sivaangi beamed at Ashwin forgetting their position.

"Apdi yenna sandhosam?" Ashwin asked releasing her hands from his hold and supported himself above her.

"Namma kalyanam dhan, Ashwineyy. Namaku dhan rendu naal la kalyanam la" Sivaangi said beaming at Ashwin as she garlanded her arms around his neck.

"Edhey???!!!" Ashwin's eyes went wide as he looked at Sivaangi.

"Ama, Ashwineyy. Nee dhan soniyeh unoda master namaku rendu naal la kalyanam pani vaika poraru nu. Unnoda wife ah, unn kuda life full ah... itha vida enaku vera yenna venum? Vegama kalyanam panikalam, Ashwineyy" Sivaangi said caressing Ashwin's cheek.

"EDHEYY!!"

Ashwin mentally facepalmed himself as he groaned and collapsed near Sivaangi on the bed while she, puzzled, half smiled at him with scrunched eyebrows as she sat up.

"Yenna achu Ashwineyy?" Sivaangi poked Ashwin's arm as she cluelessly stared at him.

Groaning, Ashwin dipped his elbow on the pillow, perched his head on his palm and looked at Sivaangi who blinked innocently at him.

"Adiyehh, naan kalyanam panika pora ponnu nu poi soli kuptu vandhen nu sonen. Namma nejama kalyanam lam panikala" Ashwin clarified.

Sivaangi thought for a moment before fixing her gaze at Ashwin.

"Athellam enaku theriyathu. Neenga dhana kalyanam panika porom soninga, aprm yenna? Enaku athu dhan ketuchu"

"Athu anga irundhu thapikurathukaga sonen. Ithaya ip-" Ashwin tried to clarify but Sivaangi cut him in middle.

"Huh athellam mudiyathu. Nee dhana kalyanam nu sonna" Sivaangi shook her head and added, "Kalyana vayasu vara apo unn munna vandhu keka sonna aana nee yeh kalyanam panna porom solita. Ithuku mela yenna?"

Ashwin started at Sivaangi for a brief moment before burying his face into the pillow and groaned while she stared at him with a pout.

"Aii Ashwineyy, endhrii" Sivaangi kept poking at Ashwin's arm annoying him.

"Koncha neram summa iren di" Ashwin looked up, snapped at Sivaangi and again buried his face into the pillow.

"Aiyo, enaku pasikuthu, Ashwin. Naan saptu rendu naal kitta aga poguthu. Please endhrii, pasikuthu" Sivaangi said and her stomach grumbled.

Hearing that, Ashwin turned his face from the pillow and looked at Sivaangi from sideways. On seeing her pout and holding her stomach, he heaved a sigh and sat up.

"Yethuku sapdala?" Ashwin asked fixing his eyes on Sivaangi.

"Enoda chithapa ku enoda inheritance mela dhan kannu. Avar avaroda oorla iruka thangachi paiyan ah kattika sonaru apo dhan enoda sothu elam avaruku kedaikum nu. Mudiyathu nu sonen. Athunala adachu vachu force pani kalyanam ready pananga. Enaku suthama pidikala. Naan ongala thedi varanum nu plan potrundhen. Ena yethachum panitanga na? Athukaga naan sapdavey ila, evlo pasichalum vendam, anga irundhu thapikanum nu dhan irundhuchu"

Ashwin's face changed when he heard Sivaangi's words, his jaw clenched.

"Pasikuthu Ashwin" Sivaangi said tugging his arm.

Ashwin heaved a sigh and looked at Sivaangi. He wordlessly stood up and walked inside the kitchen. He remember noticing few Maggie packets in the cupboard. Taking a double pack, he quickly prepared noodles, transferred it to a plate and brought to Sivaangi who was still at the bed.

"Po, poe hand wash panitu va" Ashwin said placing the plate on bed and sat down.

Sivaangi's mouth watered on seeing noodles, the aroma of food making her stomach grumble in hunger. She quickly refreshed herself, washed her hands, came back, sat by Ashwin and devoured the noodles. She finished it in no time and looked at Ashwin with a wide smile.

"Super ah irundhuchu. Romba naal kalichu sapadu la yethuvum kalandhu irukumoh ilayo nu endha bayamum ilama nimmadhi ah inaiku dhan sapten. Thank you Ashwineyy" Sivaangi said and stood up leaving behind a disturbed Ashwin.
