A/N Amber thinks about things that has been happening to her lately which caused her to get depress. Can they cheer her up? I don't own pokemon.

The next day the gang was quiet, quiet breakfast and a quiet lunch. Ruby insisted on calling Amber her 'mommy' and Amber was getting used to be called that it brings a smile to her face to see Ruby happy. Ash and Serena are not in speaking terms just yet, he demands that Serena is to apologized to Amber for everything, but every time he brings it up Serena just walks away.

Amber knew for a fact Serena is never going to apologized. Amber and Ruby played together throughout the day with Charizard and pikachu and Ash. Ruby wanted to fly, so Ash decided for them to fly on Charizard's back, while Pikachu flies side by side with charizard with Amber in case they were to fall Amber can quickly catch them. Night time arrived early, and Ruby went to sleep earlier than usual on Amber's bed.

Ash and Amber were outside the balcony at the pokemon center. They were looking up at the moon in silence until Amber broke the silence.
"Ash I have been thinking throughout the day. I think its best I go home ......permanently." Amber said looking away from the moon and Ash.
"What, why?" Ash asked surprised by Amber's decision.
"You know why Ash. Its better this way, for I don't have to be burden to you and your family. Besides I got learn everything that I wanted from the human world, but my place doesn't belong with humans, Serena made it clear. Just like how Pika-two always says " What ever we do or where ever we go, we don't belong" I finally understood what he meant and I finally know what my Father been trying to tell but I was stubborn. I guess everyone learns the hard way." Amber said with a sad smile.

"What are you going to do about Ruby, I mean she sees you as a mother and calls you mommy. Are you really just gonna leave like that, you're gonna break her hurt." Ash said upset
"She'll understand someday or I can erase her memory or all of yours?" Amber said
"No, I want my memories to stay, I won't ever forget you Amber and I don't want Ruby to forget about you either." Ash said sadly.

"I....I wish everything could have ended differently." Ash said in thought
"What do you mean?" Amber questioned
"I....nothing, never mind." Ash said sadly 'I think it's best if I leave the past in the past' Ash thought
"Come on, we should get some sleep its gonna be a big day tomorrow" Amber said "Goodnight Ash" Amber said smiling
"Goodnight Amber" Ash said before getting into bed as well.

Ash's Thought POV
I honestly don't want Amber to leave and she said its permanent. I feel like everything is my fault, if only I waited for Amber to return. What am I gonna do without her, I'm going to be stuck with Serena because of Ruby and what if  Ruby wants to leave with Amber, I'm gonna miss them both. Ash thought sadly, he knew none of his questions are going to be answered so Ash decided to go to bed and sleep on the sad thought.
