The class was taking another field trip to Akala island. This time they were exploring Konikoni City and the surrounding area. Currently, they were in Digglet's Tunnel.

They were currently deciding which way to go. It was a four way path. That's when some of the rock fell into the cave. The group was split up. Mallow and Lana ended up on the path on the right. Kukui and Sophocles ended up on the path that leads back where they came from while Kiawe, Lillie, and Ash were straight forward from the path they had been on. Rotom was with Ash.

"We'll go and get some help!" Kukui called, "But try to get out."

"Alright!" Ash says, "Let's go guys!"

"Pika!" {Yeah!} Pikachu agrees.

"Right." Lillie says.

The group of three start walking through the path with Rotom floating behind.

"C'mon Lana, let's get going." Mallow says, starting to walk the path.

"Right." Lana replies, following Mallow.

"Let's go." Kukui says.

"Yeah." Sophocles replies.

"Which way should we go?" Lillie asks.

"I'm not sure." Kiawe replys.

Suddenly, Ash saw an injured Riolu crying within the path to the left.

"Aura." He accidentally whispered, since he hasn't used it for a while, but only loud enough that Pikachu could hear.

"Pika?" {Really?} Pikachu asks in wonder.

"Yeah, it's a Riolu." Ash replies.

"If I'm not back in five minutes, come find me." Ash says to the group before running into the tunnel on the left.

"Ash, you can't just do that." Rotom says, but Ash was too far in to hear.

He was soon in front of the Riolu. The Riolu looked up. You could tell it was scared.

"It's okay. I won't hurt you. There's nothing to be afraid of. I just want to help." Ash says, attempting to atleast gain enough trust from it to help its injury.

"Pika Pikapi, pika!" {Trust Ash, please!} Pikachu says, wanting Riolu to trust his trainer.

"How do I know I can trust you? What if you just abandon me like my last trainer!!!" Riolu says through aura, out of fear.

"I never said I would catch you. I just want to help your injury." Ash replied.

Riolu tried to stand up, but failed due to the injury on its leg.

"Fine..." The Riolu said through aura.

Ash took out a super potion and bandage.

"This will sting for a moment." Ash says.

Ash squats down then sprays the super potion on the injured spot. He then started wrapping the leg.

"You know, you're lucky that Brock taught me how to do this while in Sinnoh." Ash said.

Riolu stared into the raven-haired boy's brown eyes. They were filled with determination and compassion.

"I'm sorry for not trusting you sooner. I see that you wouldn't do anything like my last trainer." Riolu says through aura.

"No worries." Ash replies right after finishing up wrapping Riolu's leg.

"Thank you." Riolu said, once again through aura.

"Riolu, I'm Ash, and this is my partner Pikachu." Ash says to it as he stands up.

"Ash!!" Kiawe called.

"There he is!" Lillie said.

Riolu hid behind Ash's leg as the two approached, followed by Rotomdex.

"Riolu, it's okay. They're friends, not enemies." Ash tells the Riolu.

"That's Lillie." Ash says, pointing to the white dressed girl, before pointing to Kiawe and saying "That's Kiawe." He then pointed to Rotom. "And this is Rotomdex, or Rotom for short."

"You met a Riolu without us?!?!" Kiawe asks.

"Sorry, I was just checking if the exit was here. I found this Riolu hurt and crying." Ash said, the lie working pretty well.

However, Kiawe wasn't buying it. Kiawe was letting it slide.

"It looks like you picked right then." Lillie said.

"Right, let's get going." Ash says.

The group walks out of the cave, into the surrounding forest. They keep going.

(A/N:This part may be really bad because I was stuck on it. Also don't ask about the Golbat thing)

Lana and Mallow were out of the cave. Currently, they were wondering. That's when Lana saw a ninja frog pokemon sitting on a rock. It was sitting with its back towards them. However, you could still tell that it was lost.

"Mallow, do you see the Greninja too?" Lana asked.

"Yeah, it looks lost." Mallow replied.

"I'm going to go help it." Lana replied and started running towards it.

"Me too!" Mallow says, following Lana.

Greninja turned around upon hearing footsteps. He figured that it wasn't who he was looking for, but wanted to check. He was about to start looking for him again anyway. He saw two girls, one with short blue hair and blue eyes and the other with long green hair and green eyes.

"Gren ninja ninj?" {What do you want?} Greninja asked.

"We want to help you." Lana replied.

"Ninja greninja ninja greninja ninj." (This is something I need to do on my own.} Greninja said, but then stood up.

"Greninja, ninja ja ninj? Greninja." {Actually, could you battle me? It might help.} Greninja asked.

"Alright. Popplio, come on out!" Lana said, throwing her pokeball up.

Popplio and the other pokemon were in their pokeballs, with the exception of Pikachu of course, incase they had a run-in with any Golbat.

Mallow let Steenee out to watch the battle.

"Bubble beam!" Lana called.

Popplio quickly shot many bubbles from its nose. However, Greninja quickly dodged. Greninja's foot and 'hand' started glowing blue as it ran in. The move hit Popplio, forming scratches.

"Are you okay, Popplio?" Lana asks her partner.

"Pop!" {Yup!} It replies.

"Alright, then use Aqua Jet!" The bluenette called.

Popplio surrounded itself with water before launching itself towards Greninja. Greninja stood there, knowing that the attack wouldn't cause much damage.

"Ninja Gren-ninja ninja ninj." {I'm sorry for trying this so soon.} Greninja says before putting one 'hand', in a fist, over his chest and raising the other above his head.

Suddenly, Ash gets a familiar feeling in his head.

"No... It's Greninja..." Ash mumbled, however Pikachu understood, while Riolu got the memo through aura.

Ash quickly gets into the same pose as Greninja before yelling "LET'Z GO!!"

Kiawe and Lillie look back, confused, as Ash was behind them. Ash scans the area Greninja is in before laying eyes on Lana, Popplio, Mallow, and Steenee.

'Greninja, it's been a while.'

'Yeah.'

'Alright, don't launch anymore attacks. They're my friends. I'm coming that way.'

'Great!'

'I'll talk to you later. Bye.'

'Alright, bye.'

"Hey, Lana and Mallow are this way." Ash says, pointing northeast.

"How can you be so sure?" Kiawe asks.

"Well, I'll tell you when we find them." Ash says.

"Let's trust Ash on this one." Lillie says.

"Fine, you win." Kiawe says as the group starts walking in that direction.

A veil of water surrounds Greninja. The veil is sucked into Greninja's back, forming a giant water shuriken. The pattern on his chest changed to a pattern that looked like it would be on a jacket. It starts with a circle split, but ends on a triangle. The middle spike like thing on its head turned red while the two on the side turned black. Off of the side two, more points appeared, looking similar to Ash's hair. Inside this, a bolt like figure, looking similar to the marks on Ash's face, is red. Greninja's eyelids turn black.

"It's amazing!" Lana says.

"I've seen this form somewhere before. I just can't remember where." Mallow says.

"Yeah, me too." Lana replies.

Ash and Greninja facepalmed, as Ash was listening through Greninja.

Suddenly Team Rocket jumped out of a bush.

"Pre- Ninja greninja!" {Not you jerks again!} Greninja says, interrupting their motto.

"You DID NOT Just interrupt the motto!" James says.

"Meowth, translate!" Jessie says.

"He said Not you jerks again!" Meowth said, as anger fumed from the three.

'Water shuriken, quick!'

Greninja grabs the water shuriken from its back and throws it at the trio, Ash doing these actions from where he's at.

"We're off with a new blast!" The trio yells as Bewear grabs them.

"Meowth said that you said Not you jerks again, but why would it be again?" Mallow asks.

"Gren, ninjaninj-" {So, my trainer-} Greninja started, but was cut off by fainting and reverting forms.

Mallow and Lana looked at each other, nodded, and dragged Greninja to the same rock from before. They sat him up and waited.

Pikachu jumped onto Kiawe as Ash fainted and fell to the ground.

"Riolu!" {Ash! No!} Riolu called.

"Pikapi Pika!" {Ash fainted!} Pikachu said.

The two kids looked behind them to see a fainted Ash. They dragged him to the nearest tree and sat him up.

A/N:This part is published before the rest because I need something in this book and I don't want anyone to wait any longer! All other stories will have all the parts published at once

Also the Riolu part wasn't planned, just something I added along the way : )
