First things first, Happy 25 years to the Pokemon Anime!!! Art above is by me to commemorate!!!

Also, I struggled to write this so I know it's not at the same standard as everything else I write.

Also also, I watched the two new episodes today so I implemented one small thing from it :)

"Goh! C'mon! If you don't hurry up, we'll be late and I promised them I'd be on time!" Ash yelled, "Plus, we're already late!"

"Where are we even meeting them at?" Goh questioned as he chased Ash through the city.

"Dahara Tower!" Ash shared.

"Why?" Goh questioned.

"Y'know how I told you that they said they created a second prison bottle?" Ash asked in return.

"Yeah? What does that have to do with anything?" Goh questioned as they arrived.

"Hoopa! Meray! Beraz!" Ash called out, seeing them.

"Ashkan! Pikan!" Hoopa exclaimed before spying Goh, "Is this Ashkan's new friend?"

Ash nodded as Goh stepped forward to introduce himself, "I'm Goh. I'm a research fellow at Cerise Laboratory alongside Ash."

While Goh and Hoopa squabbled over Hoopa calling Goh Gohkan, Meray and Beraz spoke to Ash.

"You're a research fellow now?" Meray questioned, "What happened to you competing in leagues?"

"I won the league in Alola!" Ash smiled, Pikachu giving a "Pika!" in confirmation.

"Congrats." Beraz replied, holding out the spare Prison Bottle, "Hoopa wants us to entrust this to you. Are you fine keeping it?"

"Yeah. I'll take good care of it." Ash nodded, looking serious as Beraz handed the bottle over.

Ash then moved to put it into a secret compartment, where other legendary items may or may not also be, in his backpack as Meray spoke, "It has about half of Hoopa's shadow, as Hoopa's shadow split into two."

"Hoopa's shadow?" Goh inquired, seemingly giving up the squabble.

"Shadow makes Hoopa strong!" Hoopa shared, "Ashkan helped Hoopa make up with shadow!"

"When Hoopa and its shadow combine, Hoopa changes form. I think Professor Sycamore called it Hoopa Unbound..?" Ash added. Pikachu nodded as confirmation.

Goh hastily searched for it in the Rotom Phone, nodding once he had pulled it up.

"Hoopa, the Djinn Pokemon. A Psychic and Dark-type. In its true form, it possesses a huge amount of power. Legends of its avarice tell how it once carried off an entire castle to gain the treasure hidden within."

"You have that much power?" Goh questioned the mythical.

Hoopa made a face at Goh.

"They do." Meray spoke.

"When they're combined with the shadow. Otherwise, they're a bit weaker." Beraz added.

"It's really awesome!" Ash exclaimed.

Hoopa then moved to talk to Ash, leaving Goh to gather more information from Meray and Beraz.

"Weren't we supposed to arrive at the wetlands today?" Goh questioned suddenly, turning to Ash.

"I forgot!" Ash spoke, "While normally it would be pretty much impossible to make it from here to the Wetlands today, I think someone-" Ash and Pikachu glanced at Hoopa, "Has other plans."

"Hoopa can take you there!" Hoopa exclaimed, "Ale Hoopa Ring!"

With that, Hoopa used one of its rings to form a portal between the Wetlands and Dahara City. Goh gazed at it in amazement as Ash and Pikachu went through it with no hesitation.

Popping his head back through, Ash spoke, "Thanks Hoopa!!! Bye, everyone!!!"

With that, he grabbed Goh and dragged him through.

"W-Wha-" Goh exclaimed, looking out at the Wetlands.

"Cool, right?" Ash asked.

"Uh... yeah!" Goh smiled.

"Anyways, let's get going! We don't want to keep them waiting!"

With that, Ash started running towards the building, Goh, albeit a bit confused, following. Once reaching the building, Ash hadn't even bothered to knock (it was a bad habit, he'll admit), before opening the door. Keanan, who had been reading the newspaper, looked up. His facial expression hadn't been necessarily angry or aggressive, yet had still softened upon seeing Ash. Goh peeked in from behind Ash.

"Oh, hello Ash, Pikachu." Keanan spoke, "I wasn't expecting you to come so early."

"We weren't planning on it either, but we... had some help. Anyways, meet Goh! Goh, meet Keanan! He's the guy I told you watches over the wetlands!" Ash pushed Goh to the front of him.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Goh." Keanan spoke.

"It's nice to meet you as well." Was Goh's response.

"You don't mind if we head out and visit Goodra now, right?" Ash asked, clearly wanting to visit his Kalosian Dragon that still resides in the region.

"Go on ahead." Was Keanan's only response before Ash dragged Goh back out of the building, forgetting to shut the door on the way, and out to the hill he knew Goodra tended to stay on.

Keanan simply sighed as he got up to shut the door.

"Goodra!" Ash exclaimed, running up to the Dragon-type as Pikachu hopped off of his shoulder, landing on Goodra's.

Goodra embraced Ash in a hug as Goh watched from the side. Once Goodra released Ash, Ash introduced the two.

"Goodra, this is Goh. He's a friend who works as a research fellow with me. And Goh, this is Goodra. Goodra was one of the Pokemon I caught in Kalos, though it lives here." Ash introduced.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Goodra."

"DraGoo!" Goodra exclaimed in reply.

"Goodra wanna meet all of me 'n Pikachu's new friends???" Ash asked the dragon-type.

"Dra!" The pseudo-legendary nodded.

"Alright, everyone, come on out!!!"

Before Ash could even start to introduce Goodra, Dragonite had already tackled it, and by extension, Pikachu, into a hug. Dracovish, on the other hand, had taken to biting Ash's head. Goodra, being the friendly Pokemon it was, hugged Dragonite back. After Dragonite let Goodra go, Ash's Pokemon, apart from Dracovish, introduced themselves to Goodra. Sirfetch'd seemed to introduce Dracovish.

"You said Goodra was the first Dragon-Type you've fully evolved, right?" Goh questioned.

"Yeah! Though, I did catch Gible before Goodra, so Goodra wasn't my first Dragon-Type." Ash smiled before yelling out to Goodra, "Hey, Goodra, you mind helping Dracovish out? We've got a bit of an issue with a new move and I think you'd be able to help!"

Goodra gave a "Dra!" in reply as Pikachu hopped off of Goodra and led Ash's other Pokemon to meet some of the Wetland Pokemon.

Dracovish put Ash down and attempted to use the move in question. Goh went off separately, going to leave the Wetlands so he could catch more Pokemon. As its mouth opened, a bunch of Dragon-type energy stuff showed up but didn't do anything. It just kind of pooled.

"While it looks like Dragon Pulse, it'd be kind of strange if it was because Dracovish used to know Water Gun." Ash told the pure Dragon-type, "I wouldn't be surprised if it was, though."

Goodra nodded before walking over to the water dragon-type. Goodra turned towards the sky and released a Dragon Pulse of its own, having Dracovish attempt to copy it. After a few rounds of that, with no luck, Ash remembered something.

"Hey, Goodra, doesn't Dragon Pulse start as like a sphere shape?" After getting a response in the affirmative, Ash continued, "Maybe we should figure out a way to work on that first?"

Goodra instructed Dracovish to try using the move with its mouth closed, in order to shape it. After a few tries, Dracovish had successfully got it to form a sphere.

"You're doing great!" Ash cheered.

In response, Dracovish nibbled at Ash's head, only letting go after a couple of minutes. Next, Goodra had Dracovish slowly open its mouth while using Dragon Pulse while opening its mouth. This lasted until Dracovish's mouth was about halfway open, when Dracovish lost control of the Dragon Pulse and it crashed into the nearby cave, making some rocks fall. They repeated this process over and over, with Dracovish making a little bit of progress each time. Eventually, Dracovish was able to control a full Dragon Pulse.

Ash's stomach growled, causing both dragons to sweatdrop.

"Time for lunch!!!" He called out to his Pokemon.

...And here comes Dragonite to hug the muffins out of everyone.

With Ash's other Pokemon following the orange dragon, Ash set out many bowls of Pokemon food, including some for the wild Pokemon, he got out his sandwich and ate it. As they ate, Ash and his Pokemon talked about how Goodra's been, if Goodra's seen Greninja lately, and battles.

Following lunch, Sirfetch'd opted to stay back and cheer on Dracovish. Goodra had Dracovish retest the full Dragon Pulse, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. After it was proved to not be a fluke, Ash had Goodra use Ice Beam to make targets, just to make sure that the Dragon Pulses were accurate.

The first target, a miss.

The second target, a miss.

The third target, a miss.

Dracovish was about to attempt the fourth target when all of the Wetland Pokemon, Goodra, Pikachu, Dragonite, Gengar, Sirfetch'd, and Lucario all cried out.

"Team Rocket!!!" Ash exclaimed, seeing their balloon after turning around, Dracovish copying him.

"Prepare for trouble!"

"And make it double!"

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all people within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

"Jessie!"

"And James!"

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"

"Meowth, that's right!"

"Wobbuffet!"

Meowth looked over the side of the balloon and saw Dracovish standing next to Ash.

"I think we missed the twerp's Dracovish..."

"Whatever, just use another net!" Jessie replied.

"But we already used all of the nets..." James spoke.

"Dracovish, Dragon Pulse!" Ash called out as the TRio bickered.

The line between Team Rocket's balloon and the nets, a hit.

All of the non-TRio Pokemon cheered.

"Dragon Pulse again!"

The Meowth balloon, a hit.

"We're blasting off again!!!"

"You did it Dracovish!!!" Ash cheered, the other Pokemon joining in.

Dracovish bit Ash's head again, making everyone laugh. After retesting Dracovish's new move on the ice beam targets, which were all hit, Ash, Goodra, and Dracovish joined everyone else hanging out, at least until the later hours, when Goh finally returned.

"Shouldn't we get going?" Goh questioned Ash.

"Where are we heading next again?" Ash questioned as Pikachu, who was back on his shoulder, huddled slightly closer.

Ash had far from forgotten. They were headed back to Lumiose City. He wasn't sure how he even handled it the first time. Sure, he's been having nightmares every night since they went back, but he somehow managed while in the city. Still, when Goh had answered, "Lumiose City, remember?" he subconsciously took a step back as all of the Pokemon, and particularly Goodra, who had been with him during the event, huddled closer.

"Uh... right. Bye, everyone!" Ash spoke, hugging Goodra while his Pokemon said their goodbyes. He then returned his team before running off with Goh, Pikachu doing his usual and hitching a ride on Ash's shoulder.

"Hi, Goodra. It's good seeing you."

"Hey, Greninja! You too!"

"Ash was just here earlier, correct?"

"Yeah, are you trying to find him?"

"Yeah, did he say where he was going next? I can't just chase him with the bond constantly, or I won't catch up to him."

"Uh... yeah... Lumiose City..."

The ninja frog's eyes widened, "...Thanks. I'll be off now, goodbye."

"Bye!!! Good luck!!!"

Greninja smiled as he left the dragon-type.

also, there are a lot of people that only really remember Hoopa saying Ale Hoopa Ring, something I don't remember at all, which I think is interesting.

I wouldn't be surprised if you just guessed that mine was Hoopa & The Clash of Ages, but my favorite is actually Volcanion & The Mechanical Marvel. Hoopa & The Clash of Ages is a close second though.
