"Hey ash..what ya been doing since last time I met you?" Said misty
"I've been traveling all the regions and then came here to see...um...Serena.."

Misty went silent and clenched her fist with anger, while Serena was blushing and jumping with joy.

"That reminds me...ummm Serena I want to give you something..."
"Pika?" ( ash are you alright?)
"Serena I want to give you this.."
Ash gave Serena a letter and Serena was confused.
"Can you give me that back tomorrow?"
"Sure ash!"

That night Serena got in her bed with bonni and read the letter it said:
To Serena...
Ever since I met you..you were my best friend and you always made me smile.
I finally realise what that was now...it was that I like you and want you to like me. So...will you go out with me?
