The eery silence that filled the room was actually very suffocating.

You regretted ever rushing out of the children's ward and coming down here to be in this much trouble.

Finally looking up from the wooden floor at the two sitting on either side you, you realised that they had very similar expressions and postures.

Both Yoongi and Jungkook were annoyed while looking away from each other with their arms crossed.

Across from you was the patiently waiting Chief of surgery who leaned back in his chair with his arms also crossed.

And there you sat in the middle of it all.

"Care to explain what happened?" Yoongi was quick to speak up soon after.

"Certainly. This mindless idiot thought I was harassing a colleague when I was in the middle of having a conversation-"

"A conversation? You were forcing her to stay when she wanted to be far from you. Which, may I add, is a criminal offence" Jungkook intercepted after whipping his head round.

"I have the right to stop my juniors from doing something dangerous which was what I was doing" Yoongi retorted.

"Rich coming from the person who was a danger to her"

"Right. You two are getting nowhere with this. Doctor L/N, can you please tell me what actually happened?" Namjoon silenced the two and redirected the focus on to you. Gulping nervously, you didn't want to say anything at all and just wanted to leave reality.

"...err, I actually had a bug on me and Doctor Min was helping me take it off. Officer Jeon must have misunderstood and thought he was harming me so it was nobody's fault" you rushed out. The others looked at you with blank expressions, blinking in confusion at your random outburst.

Shaking off the shock, Namjoon cleared his throat before speaking once again.

"Ah, is that so. Let's not disturb the patients next time, shall we?" Yoongi and Jungkook were in a pool of confusion as they stared at you.

"Yep! I'll make sure to not get any more bugs on me!" Standing up abruptly, you grabbed both of the males beside you and proceeded to drag them out while Namjoon watched in amusement.

"You guys don't need to thank me for saving your asses there" you flipped your hair sassily before crossing your arms coolly in front of them.

"Thank you? I should make you go on scrub duty!" Yoongi lunged at you but thankfully you were able to dodge in the nick of time.

"Did the Chief of surgery just call you... Doctor L/N?" Simultaneously, you and Yoongi froze where you stood and widened your eyes in realisation.

"Err, he... did?"

"Yeah, you're also wearing the doctor's uniform" Jungkook squinted his eyes at you, suspicious of the strange occurrences.

"...she was actually transferred to the children's ward! And I remember walking past with Chief Kim to see her playing dress up! Yes! That's why" Yoongi came in to clutch as he saved you with a smooth lie.

"Oh... but that doesn't explain Chief Kim calling her a Doctor" the officer continued on while crossing his arms doubtfully.

"Err, maybe he wanted to keep the emersion going? Look, that doesn't matter right now anyway since I need to talk to you... about last night" and poof. A blushing Jungkook has appeared.

Looks like you successfully redirected his thoughts to something else.

Doctor Min raised a brow in interest.

"Last night? What happened last night?" Suddenly, his work phone beeped, signalling that a patient of his was in need of help.

"Damn it! Those twins are fighting again!" And he zoomed off just like that.

Which was both a good and bad thing.

Good because you won't need to explain about what happened at the restaurant with a certain someone and bad because now you were left alone with said someone.

Turning around, you saw Jungkook scratching the back of his neck nervously while averting his eyes shyly.

"...shall we get something to eat?" Sigh.

"...yeah, might as well"

You two found your way to the hospital's cafeteria for patients and visitors.

While it was bustling with chatter and noise, your table was not.

You were getting a sense of deja vu from last night.

"So... what did you want to talk about?" Jungkook pressed, anticipated to find out.
