Suddenly the paws of a familiar dragon grabbed Moira and swooped down to drop her by Astrid who had just slammed the back of her sword into the face of one of Mora's men as she continued to fight.

The dragon that dropped Moira spun and let out four Night Fury blasts as fast as lightning over the battlefield, one of them smiting a soldier that was headed for one of their men locked into another brawl, another going through the body of a dragon that had Hadvar pinned to the ground, another smiting the earth under an assassin and blowing his legs off, and the last one smashing against the side of the enormous dragon's head when it was about to fire a sonic blast but instead roared and backed up just as Toothless zoomed by in wicked speed, practically unseen by everyone.

Hiccup had his helmet on as he stuck close to Toothless's body, pulling out Inferno when they flew under a dragon that tried to tackle them mid flight, burning a slice through its belly and spilling its innards into the air. The both of them were still flying at an incredible speed as Toothless charged up a blast that he shot into a hoard of Terrors that were headed for them, the shockwave electrocuting their bodies and frying them up in the energy explosion before Toothless ducked and went back towards the ground, dodging the body of a Goregutter that flew by before gliding across the ground and blowing apart a dragon that was about to blast fire on the women and children that were crowding into the keep.

Uriah ducked from Toothless and ran to slide under the body of an enemy dragon that was threatening them, lodging his axe into the side of the beast's neck, drenching his weapon in its blood and giving them enough time to finish the kill before he leapt back to his feet and turned to see Ikatere spray a soldier in the face with his superheated water behind him, fighting by his side.

Cailean landed then and David looked panicked as he fell off the body of the beast. "Where's Moira?!" he demanded.

"She's there! Go inside! Hurry!" he replied as he saw her fighting with Astrid.

He didn't want to turn his back on his sister but he did as Uriah commanded, an authoritative tone to his voice.

"Come on!" Uriah then said to Ika and hurried with him to continue helping the others.

Astrid lodged her weapon into the chest of a soldier and kicked him forward, nearly getting a spear through her when it shot into the ground by her leg. She was covered with dirt and blood as she grit her teeth and didn't stop fighting.

[MELODY]

Moira was fighting besides her trying to concentrate as she dodged an attempt from a soldier trying to get her throat. She kicked him in his chest before using her dirk to attempt slicing his throat but was blocked and pushed back making her almost bump into Astrid but she stopped herself.

[GEM]

Astrid was whacked in the face hard from the man she was fighting and fell to the ground. But before he could deliver a final blow, Stormfly hit him so hard with her tail that his body went flying into the rubble and breaking his spine.

Astrid got back to her feet but ducked to avoid a dragon that tried to snatch her like an owl catching a mouse, able to slice off the left side of the dragon's tail fin as it came by.

Stormfly pounced on another soldier and blasted him in the face with her forceful fire breath, Astrid ducking from the swing of one's sword before she pulled her own and locked blades with him.

[MELODY]

Before Moira could regain her balance fully as she had to dodge the man's dagger. It made her trip and fall as she quickly rolled over when he came down at her. She used this to kick his feet from under him making him fall down. She pinned him down slicing his throat before he could do anything else.

[GEM]

Moira's eyes then widened and she darted to the left before a dragon's fire trail it was spraying down on them could light her ablaze, Astrid doing the same to dodge it.

But Astrid had to get back into the fight immediately when more men were surrounding them both. She blocked a downward strike and then one from the left, ducking around the attacker with a spin as she jammed her sword into his back before being kicked by another soldier and she fell down, doing a roll and landing on one knee.

She roared and sprung forward, ducking to avoid the slice of one's axe before she charged at another and slammed her blade against his once, then again, moving left to dodge the stab attack he attempted as they continued to fight.

Moira's dirk locked with a soldier's shortsword and she yanked it back, ducking before he could decapitate her with his next swing but she caught the strike he tried after that, taking calculated steps back as she did. But seizing the opportunity after she had deflected his blade far enough, she did a roll on the ground and sliced his leg as she went by, causing him to stumble before he turned to try and swing his sword for her once more. But she was able to duck and stab him in the ribs before kicking him over just in time to be attacked by another that threw down his axe on her. She caught it with her weapon but nearly had to kneel to not buckle under the weight as he pressed down on her.

As this was happening, Moira realized how surrounded she and Astrid were, there being enemies all around them with no friendly in sight. When this made her worried she lost her balance and fell over but before the man could finish her, Astrid's sword stabbed through his chest and she shoved the body backwards as Moira got up, both of them overwhelmed and likely looking upon their end.

But she wasn't going down without a fight.

She grit her teeth and gripped her dirk harder before facing the army around them.

Just then a sudden burst of darkness exploded near their feet and forced both girls to fall back as Moira caught herself on her hands and knees, Astrid grabbing her arm.

But they were surrounded by complete darkness in every direction, the strange pitch black smoke making her cough as she felt death at her doorstep.

Her eyes were wide as they danced around the black void but then as it got clearer, she could see the soldiers in black still running to end her life.

Only before they could get to her, the first one she saw suddenly grabbed his throat when blood sprayed from it and he fell to his knees before his face hit the dirt.

Astrid stumbled back and looked behind her when a throwing blade was sticking out of an enemy's eye, the soldier falling back as her eyes glanced to the one at his right that was suddenly silenced with a large blade that stuck through his stomach from behind, being yanked out by a dark figure that moved like a ghost in the night.

Moira watched another warrior's head be lopped off by this nearly invisible killer before his body joined the others and one by one, every killer dropped dead with missing limbs or mortal wounds. The last one had a spear that he was about to plunge through her chest but a huge black dragon bit down on the man and flung him into the air as it swallowed him like a meal, the dragon's hundreds of teeth dripping with blood and lack of eyes frightening to her.

Moira stumbled and looked to her left as the smoke was clearing, seeing the figure that had saved them standing there before he faced them; a tall stranger in black armor, cloak, and hood, with a mask over his nose and mouth, eyes a piercing ice blue.

Arne ducked to avoid the explosive shot of a dragon, running and tackling a dark soldier as the dragon that was chasing him flew by and missed him by a hair. He got an elbow to the face, however, from the warrior he had on the ground and he fell to his back. But as the soldier stood over him to kill him, a curved blade was jammed into the side of his neck and yanked out violently to let the body fall, revealing a female warrior in black with stark white hair pulled into a braid. He recognized her immediately but was so shocked he didn't know what to say.

[MELODY]

A grin appeared on Melody's face when she saw how shocked he was to see her. But she had no time to help him up as she noticed another warrior coming up behind her with a sword. She quickly turned around to block his strike with both her sickles.

[GEM]

The warrior pulled his weapon back and spun before he tried to stab her in the gut instead.

[MELODY]

Melody blocked his strike with both weapons again as she turned them so that she got his blade stuck between hers before kicking him hard against his belly while pulling onto the sword to get it out off his grasp.

[GEM]

She had to duck immediately from the snake-like mouth of a Zippleback attempting to bite her head off while the soldier got up from the ground to try and attack her with a dagger he pulled from his belt.

[MELODY]

She used one of her blades to block his and twisted it to get it out off his hand. She quickly swirled around then with the other going for his throat.

[GEM]

He choked on her blade and she whirled around to slice open the throat of a Speedstinger that was running by to attack Arne, lava from Hookfang burning the Zippleback that was fighting her as he shot by.

Mortifer flew low and rolled to grab an unsuspecting assassin off the wall like a bird catching fish, crushing his body in his teeth as Runa leapt off his back and did a combat roll onto the wall that surrounded Berk's village, standing up to face Mora's men that were there finishing off the Vikings at their posts. She dodged left when the first arrow flew by her waist and twirled her dagger when she was charged down by the closest soldier. She spun to dodge his first blow with speed and jammed her blade into his shoulder, slinging her body around him and over to bring him to his back at the same time as it flung her forward.

Rolling forward again, she slashed the second man's knees and caused him to buckle under his own weight and she dodged his body, slicing his throat open when he did and she threw her dagger forward through the air as it pierced the chest of the archer that was trying to get a shot on her. As his body fell onto the carcass of a Berkian dragon in front of him, she looked to her right to see the massive monster that was the dragon she had seen skulking around Citadel for so long but looking at it now it was like a nightmare, its huge head high in the sky with the lightning cracking behind it, causing a haunting look to its multiple glowing eyes.

That's when it was smote with a shockwave of purple and blue energy that she guarded her face from, stumbling from the wind that caught her.

Toothless flew by in lightning speed with his rider securely on his back, heading around to finish off more of Mora's army.

"Take her!" Uriah told Ikatere who did as he asked and picked up the injured woman in his arms before flying to the keep.

Uriah twirled his axes when he was being charged down by three soldiers. He met them head on and threw his axe to let it bury into the chest of the middle opponent before he ducked and slid to trip the one on the right, standing to lock blades with the left one as Uriah blocked his strike and spun around his backside suddenly to let the other's blade slice his friend instead. Uriah kicked the sliced one's body into the other attacker to make them stumble before he flung his axe into the man's back, charging to pluck the other from the chest of the first and slice off the head of the last man standing.

He didn't stop as he ran and leapt to catch the horns of a dragon flying too low, nearly pulling his arms from their sockets when he did but he jammed his axe into the side of the dragon's head as its rider grabbed his sword and tried to kill Uriah. But the flight of the dragon was jerked and Uriah had to let go before the dragon crashed violently against the side of a house and then the ground as splinters of wood shot into the air.

The Irishman wiped the blood from his mouth and stood up as he saw more men in fights with other Vikings, running to intervene. 

When Kahu locked blades with one of Mora's soldiers, a spear was suddenly thrown into the side of the attacker's head and a Zippleback's gas was shot into the face of the dragon at his backside. Ruffnut slid and sliced off the leg of one of the men as Tuff jumped onto the dragon to take it down.

[MELODY]

Kahu looked surprised when that happened letting the body of the man drop as he glanced over at the twins before he went to fight the next warrior coming his way.

[GEM]

This soldier ran and attempted to go for Kahu's legs with skill, reminding the man that these weren't your average thugs.

[MELODY]

He blocked the soldier's strike with one side of his spear as he hit the man's face with the other making him stumble back as he put the spear between his legs making him trip and fall back before Kahu attempted to stab the man in his chest.

[GEM]

Before he could, he had to turn to avoid being stabbed in the back by another soldier.

[MELODY]

Kahu quickly blocked his attack trying to finish him off before the other one had a chance to kill him.

[GEM]

As he was brawling with this soldier the one that was on the ground got up but before he could do anything to Kahu, Tuffnut's body was flung into the soldier's because of the dragon that had thrown him off, making them both tumble against the ground just as Kahu sliced open the throat of the man he was fighting. He turned when the dragon breathed in, its throat lighting up orange. But Ruffnut's halberd was chucked into the mouth of the dragon, its blue eyes going black as the orange light also died and it collapsed.

[MELODY]

Kahu sighed relieved when that happened glancing up at Ruffnut and Tuffnut before he pulled the halberd out of the dragon's mouth making sure it was dead before he turned around to hand it back to her.

[GEM]

She took it but then heard a "Look out!" from her brother before a shot from Toothless smote the soldier that Tuffnut was fighting, blowing the man's head clean off as the body fell to the ground with a charred throat.

But past that body, Kahu saw Yrsa surrounded by soldiers. She jammed an arrow into the eye of a soldier and kicked him back before his body was plucked from the battleground by a passing dragon. But she ducked to avoid the swing of a mace from behind her and whirled around to smack the man in the face with her bow, knocking him down. She was then grabbed by a soldier around the arms as she struggled.

[MELODY]

Kahu narrowed his eyes seeing that as he quickly ran her way. He threw his spear aiming it carefully not wanting to hit her. It went straight through the soldier's temples through his head.

[GEM]

Yrsa heard that and felt his body fly off her and against the ground from the pressure of the hit. She widened her eyes but couldn't hesitate as the man with the mace was back and she dodged the swing, the spiked weapon hitting the ground and she spun and kicked the soldier in the face, forcing his grip from the handle. She then pulled her sword and bent back to avoid his fist when he attempted to hit her face and she slashed him across the abdomen with her toothed blade and had to duck when a dragon came by and it's tail nearly hit her face.

[MELODY]

As soon as Kahu reached her he pulled his spear out of the corpse before he blocked another soldier coming at them. He was determined on not losing anyone else again. Even how much Ysra annoyed him or got under his skin he didn't want to lose her. It was something he had realized in these past few days but not said out loud. She was right when she said they only had each other now.

[GEM]

After blocking his opponent's strike with a horizontal position he whipped his spear up to slash the man across the face before Yrsa stabbed the attacker in the backside.

Kahu turned to fight another as Yrsa dodged to avoid the swing of an axe that buried into the shoulder of the warrior she had her weapon still in. She jammed the end of her pummel against the soldier's head to make him stagger before she locked weapons with him in a fast and skillful brawl.

Kahu was behind her as he hooked his spear around the neck of a soldier and slammed his head to Kahu's knee. Yrsa slid and knocked the man over before finishing him, the one that she was fighting with vulnerable as Kahu whirled his weapon around to stick the serrated edge of his spear tip into his neck and force him to the ground with the man's strength.

The two of them faced down a huge Eruptodon that landed before them, crushing one of their own beasts with its sheer weight. It roared and began to spit lava at their men.

Yrsa and Kahu exchanged a glance but charged for it anyway.

Hiccup landed Toothless near Melody when she was fending off several soldiers and their dragons, doing a barrel roll before he shoved one of the men back into a dragon's lava breath path, melting him alive as Toothless let out a blast that shot through one of the soldiers and his comrade behind him before he leapt and tackled a dragon that came to brawl, clawing and biting viciously at it.

Hiccup pulled out Inferno and threw it through the air, the fiery blade sticking into the mouth hole of one of the dark soldiers that was running up to fight Melody. He ducked from the swing of another opponent and jammed his knife into the side of his armor right where there was a vulnerable open spot between the plates.

Toothless finally pinned the dragon he was fighting down with his mouth propped open by Toothless's claws and shot a beam of white through his mouth that obliterated his throat and chest, frying him like an egg.

[MELODY]

Melody's eyes widened when she saw Inferno flying into the man's mouth. It was really a horrible sight but she had no time to think about it as one of the dragons came at her as she dodged it by jumping out of the way but quickly turned around to face the dragon again.

[GEM]

The beast breathed in as electricity sparked around its form, eyes empty and bloodthirsty.

[MELODY]

The first thing she noticed was its eyes. There was no emotion in them whatsoever indicating that it was obviously controlled. When she noticed it charged a shot she dodged it again not wanting to hurt the beast but knew she probably had to.

[GEM]

The lighting strike split the ground at her feet when she lurched away, nearly frying her legs as she felt her boots warm. But Toothless began rapid firing at the monster to burn holes in its scales, the black beast roaring back at him before Toothless had to dodge another lightning beam from its mouth that nearly blinded Melody. Toothless lunged and bit into the dragon's shoulder then, tearing flesh with no mercy.

Melody had to duck before she was slashed by a soldier's sword and she whipped around to lock blades with the man, practicing what she had learned as she blocked and advanced with fast movements.

Hiccup was hit in the leg and knocked to his back by one of the soldiers but when he opened his eyes a dagger was sticking out of the side of his head. A small frame flipped over the attacker's body to let an arrow pierce the corpse instead of her. The young Runa rolled and sliced the legs of another soldier before she dodged the downward blow of another's sword. She lopped off his hand and Melody finished the kill by kicking his body in the pathway of Toothless's shot that blew a hole through him and the one with the cut leg on the ground.

When a three headed dragon landed before them and practically broke their ears with its roar, Gobber was there after throwing an axe at its shoulder, the dragon screeching and facing him as he said, "Give it your best you mutated bastard!"

But Cailean rammed against its body before it could do anything else, roaring and fighting with it as one of its heads bit down on the huge dragon's left horn.

Suddenly one of the heads was sliced off as a figure in black slid under it and flung a blade through the air that stabbed through the eye of a soldier that had his blade locked with Melody's.

Muiredach then slid and tripped another that was running for Hiccup, the soldier tumbling against the ground. But as he got up, Runa tackled him and slit his throat while Muiredach continued to run and he sliced off the arm of the man that was fighting Melody suddenly. He grabbed the body before it could drop and used it as a shield before a spear could impale Melody as it was thrown from afar.

He kicked the skewered body away and tossed Inferno back to Hiccup as the lad was using someone else's sword.

Hiccup caught it just in time to ignite the blade through the chest of the man that had him grappled, elbowing his body off him when he did before he ran and remounted Toothless to take to the skies again.

[MELODY]

Melody was breathed heavily as she glanced up seeing the Night Fury with his rider take to the sky again. A small smile appeared on her face as he did. But she had no time to be distracted as soldiers just kept coming for them. When one of them attempted to get her while she was distracted suddenly an arrow went into the man's eye killing him instantly. As Melody glanced briefly over her shoulder she saw a woman with familiar red hair. It was Moira who had taken arrows and a bow from one of the soldiers she had fought not having her own. As they made eye contact both of them smiled briefly before they had to get their concentration back to the fight.

[GEM]

That's when a dragon fell near them, almost hitting Moira as it crashed and skid on he dirt with a familiar dagger in its neck.

Faelan tumbled off the beast as it used what life it still had in it to try and blast him with fire but he had dodged it, Gobber having to drop to the ground as well but the fire charred the soldier that was sparring with the one armed Viking.

Uriah leaped onto the back of the dragon and grabbed the handle of the knife, letting the blade tear more of its flesh before he pulled it free when the beast finally fell limply onto the ground.

He tossed it back to his friend and pulled the spear from the corpse of the man that Muiredach used as a shield. He threw it into the body of a soldier that was headed for Moira, the weapon piercing through the torso of the man and causing him to spit blood as he fell dead.

[MELODY]

As she got her balance back after almost getting hit by that dragon Moira glanced over at Uriah when that happened before firing an arrow at the soldier heading for him hitting him in his arm he was holding an sword in ready to kill Uriah. She then fired a second arrow into the soldier's head. Her nose had meanwhile stopped bleeding but she was covered in blood from it and blood from others and dragons.

[GEM]

Uriah ducked when a dragon nearly snapped him in its jaws but was chased off by Ikatere. He slid to miss the tackle of one of Mora's men who instead tumbled and got up only to be sliced in the throat by Runa who came by in a flash. Uriah stood up to throw his axe forward. It buried into the back of a soldier that was locked in a fight with Gobber, the Viking able to hit the warrior in the head to make him drop to the ground after that and turned just in time to smash his hammer against the face of another trying to catch him from behind.

Moira shot an arrow into the mouth of a dragon that was on its way to fire ice down on Gobber, whirling around to then stick her dirk into the thigh of a soldier who attempted to slice her in the back. She kicked his body back but before she could turn to face another, a blade was stuck through the man's mouth from behind and yanked back out as Muiredach dashed by before he leapt atop the body of the dead dragon to let him lop off a dragon's wing that was flying down to blast them with fire. The dragon crashed into another one of Mora's and Muiredach stood from his position on one knee, whipping to his left to lock blades with a dark soldier. Faelan slid by him and stuck his dagger into the leg of an approaching assailant, causing him to cry out before Muiredach swung and decapitated him.

[GEM]

He then turned and kicked the side of a soldier's knee that had his sword locked with Melody's, causing a nasty crack sound and allowed Melody to break her weapon free and slice open his throat before they switched places and fought in sync right when a large dragon landed.

Uriah came by and threw a shield at the dragon's head before it could get its fire breath off but that's when the beast was smote with a familiar shot of blue and purple that rippled through the air.

Toothless shot through the air past them, taking back around to prepare to fire more shots on the enemies that scattered over their skies. But just as he did this he saw the biggest dragon that was snaked up the cliffside breathe in and his eyes widened before the sudden shot of pressure knocked him clear out of the sky in a huge shockwave.

The whole group below was flung off the ground along with the enemies, splintering the wood from the turret tower in all directions as they tumbled back against the ground violently.

[GEM]

Hiccup felt his body be whipped over and over with heavy branches until his body hit the dirt under the trees painfully, feeling his arm take the pressure when he landed. Toothless had knocked down a pine nearby himself, his scales scraping and body nearly mangled from the manner in which he crashed.

The group's ears were ringing and bodies were in pain from clashing, Uriah hitting a rock when he flew back as he felt pain shooting through his torso. One of his ribs was broken for sure.

Muiredach cringed and pulled a large splinter from his side, his eyes looking around until they landed on Melody.

[MELODY]

Melody was laying a bit further from him having gotten multiple small splinters in her leg. With pain showing on her face she tried to sit up to get the splinters out of her leg.

Moira had hit her head when she got knocked back. After passing out for a moment she groaned opening her eyes slowly again. She put her hand on the back of her head as she sat up again. When she pulled her hand back she saw it was covered in blood.

[GEM]

Shadow was cast on Berk. Moira watched a Viking fall as he was burned to death by dragonfire but she couldn't move to save him. Her attention was turned forward again as the ringing stuck in her ears and her world seemed to move in slow motion.

Through the smoke and glowing orange embers that drifted down like snow, they saw a figure emerge from the carnage. The first sight was the gold glint off the curved Egyptian blades in either hand... and then the pale mask upon his face. His frame began to become more clear when they could see the outline of his hood and cloak that caught the wind.

He was walking slowly towards them all, his presence something unmatched by any other, as the monstrous dragon climbed over the rubble behind him to look down upon the Berkians, the strike of lighting behind it making a loud booming thunder to anyone that could still hear...

[MELODY]

Moira's eyes widened when her eyes fell on Mora. As her head was pounding badly as she tried to get back on her feet in which she failed.

Meanwhile melody tried to get the splinters out and her wounds bounded. That's when she felt a very familiar feeling. She glanced up to see if she could see Lyre when her eyes fell on the masked figure walking towards them. The confusion could be read on her face as she watched him come closer. But judging by the reaction she saw by the others this was not good, not good at all.

[GEM]

Mel hadn't realized that Muiredach was right beside her. "You need to get out of here," he was saying as she could barely hear him, his eyes wide with worry as his hand rested on her thigh where the wound was.

Gobber was closest to the blast as his ears were now bleeding. And he cringed but picked up his hammer; the one attached to his arm as he glared at Mora. He was the first to get back on his feet and charged down the masked menace.

As Vikings were converging towards him, Mora ducked easily from Gobber's wide swing and came back with his blade to slice the man's head clean off before facing another Berkian that charged at him. He blocked the first attack with one khopesh while using the other to slash open the Viking's stomach before kicking him back.

[MELODY]

Melody tried her best to make out what he was saying as she glanced up at him. When she realized what he was saying she shook her head. "N-..No..I am not leaving.." she said but found it difficult to argue seeing the worry on his face. But she didn't want to leave and lose anyone again.

"N-No..!" Moira called out when she saw Gobber getting killed like that. She felt panic, grief and anger taking over her body as she tried to get up again. That's when her mind went to Uriah. She had to find him. She wasn't going to lose him, no matter what. She forced herself onto her feet finally as she nearly passed out again.

[GEM]

Two dragons landed near Moira suddenly as the Berkian rider was crushed under the weight of his beast, the rider of the enemy dragon chucking a spear into a Viking as his dragon bit into the flesh of the one under it.

Mora threw a warrior over his shoulder and stabbed another before saying, "Kill that one! He's a problem every time!"

Moira saw where he was pointing and spotted Uriah ducking from a dragon that was trying to snatch him as he rolled and sliced its jaw.

[MELODY]

She fell back onto the ground because of the impact next to her as she glanced over at Mora when she heard him shout and her eyes widened when she saw Uriah. "N-no..!" She pushed herself to get onto her feet again as quickly as she could grabbing an axe that was near her on the ground as she started running his way.

[GEM]

Muiredach had his face mask down when he was talking to Melody but he had to get up when a soldier had run over to try and cut him down. He grabbed the man's arm and kneed him in the gut before taking the weapon from his hand and smashing his skull in with the pummel. He then threw the sword as hard as he could as it stuck through the neck of the soldier that was trying to kill Melody with an arrow that never left the bowstring. That's when a dragon landed before them and roared. He merely extended his blades from his bracers before charging it straight down without fear.

[MELODY]

As everything around her felt out of control and she saw Muiredach trying to protect her she tried to get up even with her injured leg having no time to bound it. She flinched in pain but tried to ignore it as concern and anxiety had the upper hand as she watched him fight the dragon. But she was shaken out of her thoughts as she had to dodge a spear from behind. She quickly turned as she grabbed one of her blades of the ground not knowing where the other was as she blocked the man's next attempt on her life.

Snotlout let Hookfang fire down lava on some of Mora's men when they were caught out, burning their bodies into a black crisp instantly. He then bent forward as he saw Tempus Mora taking out the Berkians ahead and sped up his dragon.

Mora ducked and sliced the body of another Viking warrior through the abdomen, forcing the body into two halves before he caught the axe of another with both his blades in an X formation. He yanked them apart and broke the axe's blade off its handle before throwing his leg up and kicking the man hard in the skull to knock him over. He spun left and deflected the sword of another with his offhand before jamming his mainhand khopesh through the face of the warrior, turning to fire a dart from his crossbow attached to his bracer that pierced through the eye of Hookfang that was flying down to end his life. The dragon tumbled across the ground instead, launching Snotlout off the saddle and against the dirt violently.

The young lad cringed and cursed when he saw the state of his dragon but had to throw himself to his feet to avoid being cut down.

Uriah was running and skid to throw his body behind an unsuspecting soldier, the shot that left the mouth of the Gronkle that was pursuing him hitting the enemy's body and not Uriah's. He had to do a forward roll before he was sliced by a sword from one of Mora's men who met him head on. He missed the blade by an inch and spun around to jam his axe into the side of the attacker's leg. He then had to immediately put his axes back up to block an arrow that was headed for his throat, the metal tip bouncing off his axe blade. This archer was taken out by Ika who was still loyally fighting with his rider, the dragon swooping down the pluck the man from his place and drop him onto a burning house to his death.

Uriah smashed his axe handle against the man whose leg he injured before he threw one of his hatchets ahead to let it stick into the chest of another soldier running his way. He ducked from the swing of a hammer and jammed his axe blade into the left cheek of the attacker but that's when an arrow pierced Uriah's left shoulder and he grit his teeth when he felt the sting of the arrow tip in his flesh.

Moira was able to throw her dirk into the back of the archer that did this as she ran for Uriah, her path intercepted by a dragon that flew by and nearly grabbed her, the beast turning and landing to spit fire at her instead.

[MELODY]

She had to duck for the dragon as she slid down before quickly turning around on her feet facing the dragon as she dodged the shot. She then used the axe she picked up to fight the beast wanting to finish this as fast as she could as she wanted to get to Uriah. She managed to jam the axe into the dragon's head as hard as she could. She pulled it out quickly and hard. She barely felt her own injuries as her focus laid somewhere else.

The dragon screeched in pain as its blood slung into the air behind her blade. Cailean was suddenly behind her as the dragon rammed a soldier, knocking him out of her view.

But she had to turn when another was charging her down from the left.

[MELODY]

The look in her eyes said everything now, pure desperation and fury. It was a side of herself she had no experienced yet. While being covered in blood she held onto the axe tightly making her knuckles go white. She swung the axe around while bending down slicing through his abdomen before pushing him over as she got back up and went on her way to get to Uriah.

Hiccup had to get up as he heard the battle raging on, blood dripping from his head off the tip of his nose. His left arm was completely useless as sharp pain shot through his body whenever he tried to move it. So he winced as he used his right hand to get his aching body back to its feet.

Toothless found him at last and his expression had shifted into one of concern for his rider, checking to make sure he was alright but the Night Fury was also injured, his right side bleeding badly and his wing on that side not in its best shape either.

"Come on," Hiccup said breathlessly. "We can't let them die. We have to fight." He grabbed onto the saddle as he attempted to mount him again, struggling and seeing double now. "Come on. Get us closer!"

Toothless obeyed, knowing neither of them would make it out of this alive but they would do all they could for Berk.
