The whole day in work was absolute hell.

The brothers became more clingy and overprotective to you,which annoyed and irritated you.

The two ignored each other's presence if not needed,or sometimes you would hear them throwing insults at each other,or catch them throw dirty looks at each other.And that made you feel bad,thinking the ONCE UNBREAKABLE twins were now rivals.ALL BECAUSE OF YOU.

When it was dismissal time,they offered(more like FORCED)you a ride home,which you turned down.

Now it was only you in your kitchen in the house,drinking(favorite drink).This always help you calm down and think properly.

And a fragment of memory came crashing down on you.

"...See you at 6 o'clock here tomorrow.I'll be waiting."

"Oh my kamisama!Noooo"you glanced at your(favorite color)wall clock and saw that it was 5:52.

"Damn I almost forgot"you cussed under your breath and went upstairs to your room,changing into sports wear and preparing the things you need to bring for the training.

I always get late!Ugh

You rushed to the court and saw Subaru dribbling a ball.Then aimed it to the ring.

"S-Subaru-kun!"you panted.

He turned his head to you and mustered to smile a small one.

"Hi,(L/n)-San."

You put your small sling bag down the nearby bench and went beside him.

"I'M SORRY I FORGOT TO ATTEND YESTERDAY!I'M SO,SO SORRY!"you bowed a million times,making him feel bad.

"Uh,n-no.I actually forgot too.I should also say sorry."

You smiled and nodded before putting on your serious face.

"So~First thing's first:HOW'D YOU DRIBBLE A BALL?"

"What?You mean...you watch basketball but..."

"Ahh...e-eh"you shyly scratched your head.

For him,your action was quite cute making him blush.Of course,being the oblivious girl you are you didn't notice.

"Let's get s-started,then."he picked up a basketball ball and threw it at your direction suddenly,which caught you off guard.

The ball hit you square on the face,hard.

You heard buzzing in your ears,and your vision started to blur as you fell on your butt.

"Oww..."you rubbed your nose which was bright red,and you felt liquid running down from it.Blood.

"(Y/n)?(L/n)-san are you okay!?"Subaru rushed to you and knelt beside you,a worried frown etched on his face.

You squeezed your eyes shut as you raised your head and pinched your nose.

"It's okay,it's fine."you breathed.

"I'm sorry for suddenly throwing the ball!It was uncalled for,and I just stupidly thought you would immediately catch--"

"No,I'm fine.Really."you cut him off with a forced smile on your face--for the sake of his conscience.

He looked skeptical,though he helped you stand up on your feet.

"Arigatou(thank you)."you said.

He immediately withdrew his hand from yours before you could even notice it.

"It's nothing."

"Okay.I think I'm ready."you said,dusting your shirt.

"Not until you put ice on the bruise."And he shuffled to the bench and pulled out a jug from his bag.

He was acting like an old,protective brother.

He went back to you,and gave you the jug.

"It may not be much,but the water's cold so it can help.But only for 5 minutes,okay?"he grabbed both your shoulders and forced you to look at him.

You giggled,which made him blush.

"Rest assured,captain!"you did a little salute which he found cute.

After two hours of practicing for real,you already know the basics and how to perform them,but you couldn't say you were already an expert at it.

You were now guarding the ring,with Subaru positioned at your front,dribbling the ball.

You also adjusted your position and stared back at him intensely,keeping up with his serious face.

Sweat trickled down your forehead,and the cold wind ruffled a panting Subaru's hair.

He made a step and you immediately reacted.

"Subaru?"

Both of you froze after hearing a voice.

Who the hell rudely interrupted our basketball game!?(Yep you were enjoying)

You two whipped your heads to the speaker,and saw a familiar man.

"(L/n)-san?"the orangey-blonde haired twin stared at you,shocked.

"Natsume-senpai?"

Subaru glared at the ground and turned his back from Natsume and you.

"Natsume-senpai?You know Subaru?And you remembered me!"you grinned.

He grunted."Yeah.I still do.And Subaru's my brother."

"What!?"you widened your eyes in bewilderment.It doesn't look like it!

"Tsk."you heard Subaru say.

"How come you know each other?"

You blushed as you bit your lip.

"Long story short I needed help to learn my favorite sport"

You really felt bad,lying.But you have to--not like the dare and your pride mattered but your friend,Maggie!She's cracked up and all,but she's your only {best}friend{forever}//the ones indented are assumed by Maggie//!!!You wouldn't want to lose her.

"Are you kids here to practice basketball?"he asked,eyeing your attire and your tired state.

"Mmm."you nodded.

"Obviously."Subaru said as he rushed to the ring and aimed the ball.

"Hey!That's cheating!"you puffed your cheeks in annoyance.

Subaru looked at you over his shoulder and smirked.

"You should've guarded it well.You're too distracted."

He's sooo becoming rude.

"Then let me help you."Natsume said out of the blue.

"Eh?"you tilted your head to the side,confused.

Natsume sighed as he removed his blazer and tied it around his waist.Then removed his tie.

This made you blush.

"I'll be helping you learn basketball,since I was Subaru's couch."

Oh.

"Was.Before."Subaru growled as he pulled you to him.

How did the dare ended up like this?

Let's just say Subaru hesitantly agreed to Natsume joining after you pestered him enough,but the practice was pretty intense,and you could taste the awkward atmosphere.Hyperbole.

Which made your muscles ache,so the males offered you a drive home(of course,using Natsu's car).
