The G-team's base plan had been finished and Grian was spending all his free time building the base with the materials his teammates had gotten him. Currently all they had was an area underground.
Team S.T.A.R. had chosen their location too. Between the two teams was a huge white flag to mark the ceasefire. They all needed time to make their bases before the war could actually broke out.
They would have a meeting with both of the teams soon and then the war would go on a small break for Christmas that was soon knocking on the door.
Grian emptied another shulker box of white concrete to the chest. He wanted to go with the same style colour pallete as his own base was.
"You're not using your left hand that much", Xavier suddenly pointe out, making him jump. At the same time Stress hopped down to the base through the bubble-elevator.
"Did I scare you?" she chuckled in an apologizing tone. "I didn't mean to!" she added.
"It's not a problem", Grian chuckled, relieved that Stress thought it had been her, who had scared him. He did need her being any suspicious about Xavier. "I wasn't expecting anyone to come down here", he spoke.
"I'm just here to ask you what blocks we'll be needing. I finished what I had planned with my base and now I don't have anything else planned, so I decided to come help you", she explained with a smile on her lips.
"There's actually a lot of things we need. They're all listed on these chests. You can decide whatever you want to go collect and then bring them to the chest", Grian told her, gesturing towards the chests in the wall behind his back. The movement with his left hand sent a weird pain through his body, but he tried not to flinch as he didn't want to look suspicious in front of anyone.
"Alright! I get it! If there's something else you need now, just send me a message and I'll go get it for you!" she said before waving and jumping to the bubble-elevator to go get the materials.
Grian turned away from the elevator and looked at his hand. It felt a bit weird and a bit of blood was soaking through the red sweater. It wasn't normal, but also nothing uncommon. Fighting with Error caused a lot of injuries and this was probably just one of them.
He didn't pay much attention to it, just took some bandage and wrapped it around the arm to stop the bleeding. If it didn't go away, he would have to go see Haylie, Yenny or Topaz. But he didn't want to go bother the nurses without an actually good reason. A little bleeding wasn't anything bad in his opinion.
"I vote for you to go to the medical center. There's something off about that bleeding", Xavier said, sharing his own opinion about the situation. Grian shook his head. 'I won't go yet. The situation isn't that bad. They're already busy with other injured people. I'm not going there if it isn't that dangerous.'
"That wound is caused by a glitched creature. They can create wounds that lead to permadeath. It can look innocent, but be something deadly", Xavier reminded. Grian sighed, but still protested, 'I don't think it's anything that bad. I'm not going to the medical center yet. That's the final.'
"Don't blame me if you die. I tried to warn you", Xavier said. Grian rolled his eyes. 'I won't die to it, trust me!'
"Say that again on your deathbed", Xavier hummed. 'We'll see about that then', Grian answered and turned around to pick up a white concrete block, only to see that it had turned crimson red.
He looked down and saw that the wound was soaking through the sweater again and blood was draining down to the white concrete underneath him.
'I'm still not going to the medical center', he said to Xavier before the Fallen could start complaining about it again. 'I just need to put the bandage tighter.'
"Don't invite me to your funeral. Those are always too boring", Xavier stated. 'For the 100th time: I'm not dying!'
"Yet."
'Yet.'

Grian made his way towards the Nether Portal. He needed to go grab something from home. He stepped into the purple portal.
When the scenery changed, he almost screamed when he saw an enderman in front of him. He spun around in shock as he noticed that he was in the End.
"What the Hell?" he exclaimed, noticing that there was also Nether in the realm. On the other side of the portal was the End and on the other side was the Nether.
He pulled out his communicator and made his way to the group chat to complain to his siblings that he needed help.

Grian sighed and stepped back to the Overworld. He didn't mind flying, that wasn't the problem, but using the Nether was just way more quicker.
He took off and let the cold wind brush against his skin. He was headed towards the Christmas District to go see what people had done there.

"We have put up a giant white flag to symbolise that there's a ceasefire right now. No more pranks, no more fighting. Because we need to sort something out before we get in this mess again", Grian started. The G-team was standing behind him, expect for Joe who for some reason was on the other side of the flag with the other team.
"So, on this side we got the G-team." Grian looked at my team before drifting his eyes back to the enemies. "Wait! Joe! Wrong side bro. Come here!" he said as he noticed the man standing on the wrong side.
"What're you called?" the strawberry blonde asked the enemies after everyone was back on their own sides.
"We don't exactly have a name yet", Xisuma answer for the team. "We need more time to think", Doc added.
"At least it looks like you have already started your base", Grian mentioned, nodding behind the nameless enemy team.
"We need a few more days to build a bigger flag", Grian said after they had settled on a few obvious rules. One including one of Grian's favourite things: tnt.
"The ceasefire is going to last until the new year, so we all have enough time to build up our headquarters", he continued while people laughed at his previous joke.
As the rules were said, it started thundering. Everyone turned to look at the sky as the raindrops started hitting the ground, turning everything wet.
Doc raised his trident. Everyone immediately backed away from him as he shot the trident towards the sheep that was next to the flag. It died with one shot and the next victim was Cleo who got hit by the trident and lightning.
"What did I just say? Ceasefire! Ceasefire!" Grian exclaimed as the trident landed back to Doc's grip.
People backed up to their own sides. Joe managed to land a few hits on Doc with a stick and someone from them answered by shooting a couple of arrows towards the G-team.
"Go build your base!" Grian continued, stepping back from the flag.
And by that the meeting was over. Grian headed back to his own base.
On the white concrete floor was more crimson red blood that soaked through his wet sweater. His arm didn't hurt, but the bleeding didn't seem to stop either.
He took off his sweater and looked at the bandage. The blood seemed to have soaked through the bandage a long time ago, but hadn't stained the sweater until a while ago.
"You have to go see Haylie", Xavier said with no hesitation. Grian shook his head. 'The medical center is full of patients. The wound doesn't hurt at all. I can handle it by myself.'
"What're you doing?" a familiar voice interrupted his thoughts, making him jump and spin around to see someone who he never thought he would see standing in Hermitcraft.
"I'm bandaging a wound I got from the last fight", Grian answered and turned his hand for the visitor to see.
"Does it hurt?" the visitor asked and took the bandage from his hands to wrap it around the arm. "It looks kinda bad", he continued and turned to look at the younger male. He's light purple wings were visible behind him, making him look majestic, as he was supposed to.
"It doesn't hurt at all. Kinda surprising, but good, I guess", Grian shrugged as he let the Main Leader wrap the bandage around the wound. "What're you even doing here?" he asked.
"I came to check up on you. I haven't been here before, so I also wanted to see what kind of base have you build", Alden hummed as he finished wrapping the bandage.
"Did you hear anything from Zloy or Pixlriffs? Do you know if they've finished fixing the glitch?" Grian asked as he put his sweater back on.
"I didn't see them by the barrier. I'm assuming that they're still working on fixing the glitch. I'll go check it out once I leave", Alden answered. He turned to have a look around the futuristic base Grian had built.
"This looks impressive", he had to admit. "Not the Watcher style I'm used to seeing Watchers build", he added.
"I've grown tired of those same End towers. They don't fit this server, they don't fit anywhere I go", Grian groaned. He absolutely hated the Watcher towers he had been forced to build during his time in the Watchers Academy.
"I don't like them either. They are too similar, too empty, too boring. The Watchers have a bad taste when it comes to building towers", Alden sighed. "That's also the reason why I don't like visiting smaller cities in the End. Those are almost always just full of those bad looking towers", he continued as he let his eyes examine every bit of the building that Grian had made.
"I prefer building something more unique. That's what I was taught as a child", Grian hummed. He still remembered everything his mother had taught him as a small child. He tried not to think about her a lot. Those memories broke his heart.
"You should build something to the Main World one day", Alden suggested. "There's a few places that could use a new building."
"I'll think about it", Grian nodded. He wasn't sure if he would have time to do so, but it sounded kinda tempting.
"Is there something in your mind?" Alden asked, tilting his head. "I haven't spoken to you in a while and I want to be sure that everything is alright. The war is tiring after all."
"I'm alright. Don't worry about me. Our siblings are always ready to help me when I need it", Grian smiled.
Alden gave him a smile and ruffled his hair. "You're doing an amazing job with everything. I'm proud of you and so are everyone else."

(It's Christmas tomorrow! I will probably make a Christmas special if I can write it in one day. But if I can't, I'll post it on the 25th.)
(Also, I noticed that the episode where this chapter's meeting happened was posted on 23.12. :D Last year I was a bit out of sync with the original time line. Now the only mistake I made was the beginning of the chapter actually happened after the end, but that doesn't matter.)
(It's also the last birthday of the year! And it's Lupin's! I think I could do the same next year, but just try to make a redraw of everyone.)
((I finally drew Van and Winslow yesterday and added it to the chapter :D))
(I finally tried to use different shades when colouring the skin and I really like how it turned out.)
(Lupin is 17 now (2018))
(5 facts:
1. She's the only one from The Council whose zodiac sign is capricorn.
2. She and Lyndon are in charge of The Council self-defence course for players. They're also both the ones where the eyes turn to when it comes to planning attacks
3. She has three middle names and her full name is Jessica Lupin Willow Beth Sharpe.
4. The others like to tease her by calling her Jessica. Her nickname is also Jess even in public. She's kinda glad that she gets teased with her real name instead of a name like 'child'.
((I'm going to just point out that the teasing isn't about her name. She just has the best reaction when people call her by it. That's why she's the victim of getting called by first name.))
5. She's a character who didn't even exist in the original book, but was added to the rewrite.)
