"↸𝙹 ||𝙹⚍ ᓭᒷᒷ ᔑリ||ℸ ̣ ⍑╎リ⊣ ↸𝙹∴リ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ∷ᒷ?" Leslie inquired as she watched Peyton look down into a gap in the floor. They were deep under the Main HQ, trying to figure out what had caused all the lights to go off.

"⋮⚍ᓭℸ ̣  ᓵ𝙹ᒲ!¡ꖎᒷℸ ̣ ᒷ ↸ᔑ∷ꖌリᒷᓭᓭ", Peyton answered and tried to make our the system down below him.

Leslie glanced at the lever behind her. She was standing in front of it on purpose, because she knew what the lever was for.

"↸𝙹 ||𝙹⚍ ℸ ̣ ⍑╎リꖌ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ∷ᒷ ᓵ𝙹⚍ꖎ↸ ʖᒷ ᓭ𝙹ᒲᒷℸ ̣ ⍑╎リ⊣ ↸ᒷᒷ!¡ᒷ∷?" She asked, tapping her black nails together. Her hidden eyes kept drifting around, like she was paranoid that someone would come to them.

"╎ ᓵ𝙹⚍ꖎ↸ ℸ ̣ ∷|| ℸ ̣ 𝙹 ꖎ𝙹𝙹ꖌ", Peyton hummed and peeked deeper into the gap. He was now over halfway down to the kilometers deep gap.

Whose idea had to be to build the gap? No one knew, it was so old. But sadly there were a lot of important wires down there and the only way to access them was by peeking down.

"ᓭℸ ̣ ╎ꖎꖎ リ𝙹ℸ ̣ ⍑╎リ⊣?" Leslie asked, taking a step closer. Tears began burning her hidden eyes as she approached her older brother.

"╎ ↸𝙹リ'ℸ ̣  ꖌリ𝙹∴ ╎⎓ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ᓭ𝙹ꖎ⚍ℸ ̣ ╎𝙹リ ᒷ⍊ᒷリ ╎ᓭ ⍑ᒷ∷ᒷ ╎⎓ ╎'ᒲ ʖᒷ╎リ⊣ ⍑𝙹リᒷᓭℸ", Peyton admitted with a sigh and began staring to pull himself up, but Leslie was faster.

Her hands hit Peyton on the back, pushing him head-first into the gap as he yelled her name out loud. The gap long, but also slim. There was no space to open wings, so Peyton knew he would die. There was no way up anymore, but even when his skull broke as he hit the ground, his trust for Leslie didn't die along with him. Even when he knew that the hands that had pushed him down had been hers.

     Leslie watched in shock as Peyton fell, she screamed and began running away from the basement, almost falling on the stairs. She had to get out, she couldn't take the guilt of staying there. She had to save herself and come up with a lie so she could take the guilt from her shoulders. She needed everyone to believe it had been an accident.

She bursted through the doors to the office that was pitch black through there being no power. The only lights in the room were the purple fires that sat on Sherenidy's, Xelqua's and Tatton's hands.

Her fearful face was highlighted by the purple fires, just like everyone else's. The eyes of the people in the room moved to her with curiosity.

"ꖎᒷᓭꖎ╎ᒷ? What's going on?" Sherenidy asked, frowning at her fearful expression. It gave everyone a bad feeling.

"╎... ╎ ᓵ𝙹⚍ꖎ↸リ'ℸ ̣  ↸𝙹 ᔑリ||ℸ ̣ ⍑╎リ⊣... ⍑-⍑ᒷ.. !¡ᒷ||ℸ ̣ 𝙹リ... ⍑ᒷ... ⍑ᒷ... ⎓ᒷꖎꖎ..." Leslie sobbed, making everyone in the room froze.

"What do you mean?" Xelqua asked in shock. A part of him said it had been a bad idea to ask about it.

"⍑ᒷ ᓭᔑ∴ ᓭ𝙹ᒲᒷℸ ̣ ⍑╎リ⊣ ╎リ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ⊣ᔑ!¡... ʖ⚍ℸ ̣  ⍑ᒷ ⎓ᒷꖎꖎ..." Leslie whispered as tears rolled down on her place cheeks.

Everyone froze. Upton and Blake looked at each other with fearful expressions. Sherenidy, Xelqua and Tatton shared shocked glances under their masks.

Sherenidy hesitatedly stood up, "Could you bring us there?" She asked since she was the highest ranked from the six of them.

"⎓-⎓𝙹ꖎꖎ𝙹∴ ᒲᒷ.." Leslie whispered, taking a shaky breath in. Then she began leading the five others towards the place where Peyton had fallen to his death hole.

     Jaylee spun around and tilted her head to her right. This small movement immediately caught the attention of Alden, Edita, Kasen and Lyndon. They all were looking at her with concerned faces. They had a feeling whatever she was going to say next wasn't going to be good.

The atmosphere of the dark room suddenly turns creepy and the temperature drops down below 0°C. The breaths they all the come out as smoke looking steam.

Jaylee's white eyes glow in the darkness and for a second everyone can see the ghosts that follow her like her own shadow. They whisper words to her ears, telling her lies that are the truths. The Cursed Ones.

"What the fuck does that mean?" Edita whispered to the closest person to her, who she couldn't see in the darkness, but knew that next to her was Lyndon.

"I'm not sure if I want to know", Lyndon whispered hesitatedly. Everyone else stayed quiet as Jaylee listened to the whispers of The Cursed Ones.

Her mysterious tone made everyone's spines shiver.

"Who is she talking about?" Kasen quietly asked from Alden, knowing there was no use to disturb Jaylee since she wasn't completely there with them.

"I don't know, but I have a bad feeling that we're about to find out really soon", Alden answered quietly.

"ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ℸ ̣ ∷⚍ℸ ̣ ⍑ ⍑ᔑᓭ ʖᒷᒷリ ᓭ!¡𝙹ꖌᒷリ", Jaylee finally whispered and her eyes stopped glowing. She looked at her siblings in the room before saying in English, "We'll find out soon."

"Has someone died?" Alden asked immediately. He knew pretty well how to understand the messages The Cursed Ones let Jaylee say, but obviously he didn't understand them as well as Jaylee.

Jaylee pressed her finger on her lips. "You'll find out soon", She whispered and turned to look towards the door.

Edita and Lyndon glanced at each other before turning to follow Jaylee's glare towards the wooden door that stood still in the darkness. Kasen and Alden followed soon after.

          It didn't take long for the door to fly open and slam to the wall with a huge bang sound. "That's gonna leave a mark", Kasen whispered to Alden, who just sighed.

Sherenidy, Xelqua, Tatton, Blake, Upton and Leslie stepped into the room. They all looked sad and it was clear that someone had died.

"Who was it? Who did we lose tonight?" Alden asked, turning his hidden eyes to his 3rd in command, who immediately answered to him. "!¡ᒷ||ℸ ̣ 𝙹リ. We lost
!¡ᒷ||ℸ ̣ 𝙹リ", Sherenidy said, lowering her head to show respect to their dead sibling.

"How did it happen?" Alden asked, his eyes turning to Leslie. He had a feeling Leslie knew more about the situation than Sherenidy did.

"We have to inform everyone about what has happened", Edita whispered, looking at Alden, who nodded. He knew she was right.

     Grian sat on the floor of his shipwreck base. He was holding his head with both of his hands. There was something wrong with his brain and he didn't know what it was.

     A blade clashing against his. Someone lays injured on the ground next to a familiar person. His eyes try to meet his enemy's, but it isn't possess. He can't remember what did his enemy look like. He can't hear a single word that falls from her mouth, but he knows they haven't done everything wrong. He really just wants to know who they are and what's going on, but he can't. His memory of the event doesn't exist. There's only an empty void at the place of the memories.

  
    He pressed his hands over his ears, feeling that he was finally snapping for real. There was something he was supposed to know, but he didn't. He wanted to know, he needed to know, but it wasn't possible. He would never learn about what had been taken from him.

There was something dark hiding in the history, or maybe even the future. He didn't know what it was, but it scared him. Someone was playing tricks on them.

(It's 31.10. and that's my birthday! I'm now 16, damn I feel old :D)

(It's also Shen's birthday and I'll explain her role now. Shen is an oc of mine from an unwritten Aphmau AU. She has been my oc years before I started this fanfiction. In the original version she had the most appearances of the ocs, because she was the easiest one to write since I already knew her personality. But now I'm sharing her role with the others since I've learnt to write them too.)

(I bought a pumpkin coloured marker just for her hair-)

(In 2018 Shen was 15. I gave her my age to begin with, but as the series started from 2018, she grows to be older.)

(5 facts about her:

1. Since Shen was my oc in an Aphmau AU, she has gotten a few things from me: height, using all pronounces, birthday, her Finnish skills and maybe small bits of my personality, but not much tho. Her family issues are not from me :D

2. She's The Council's 3rd in command and started as the 5th in command. She was Zenith's student and her student is Xelqua.

3. She was first of The Council's member to be revealed to have siblings. She has an older sister, Zanax. (Also my oc from the same Aphmau AU.)

4. She's the youngest of The Council, but still she's the only one, who has gotten arrested. She would have spend her whole life in a Watcher prison underground if Zenith hadn't needed her to get a revenge on his sister.

5. She is probably the most chaotic member of The Council, but still somehow can be responsible.)

(Since its my birthday too, do I also have to give 5 facts about myself? :D)

(Alright, I'll do it:

1. As I've said I'm 16 and from Finland. Nowadays I go by the name Shado everywhere online. Smiling_Paradox is my username, but Shado the nickname.

2. My hobbies are writing, reading, playing games, dancing and shooting with an air gun.

3. I love K-pop and my favourite group is Dreamcather. I also like Blackpink, Rania and many other girl groups, old and new ones.

4. My parents are divorced so I live in two houses. I have a younger brother and my mom has two dogs and we just bought a gecko, who'll move to our house in less than two weeks.

5. I'm 146cm tall and it's probably pretty hard to believe that I'm 16-)
