A man who is still beloved by many, a man who still wows the crowd the second he steps into the ring. That man is Jeff Hardy, the night he won the Battle Royal, to guarantee himself a shot at the Intercontinental championship. He was sitting in the locker room icing a shoulder that was currently giving him problems. His current wife, Beth, called from their Cameron home to see if he was okay, he assured her everything was fine, and concluded the conversation by saying that he will arrive in Cameron in the next couple of days. He couldn't wait to see his wife nor his two daughters, Ruby and Nera.

As the pain from his shoulder brought him back to reality, there was a knock at the door. "Come in!" Jeff stated and not too long afterwards, the oldest Hardy brother appeared from behind the door. "Hey, what's up man?" He slowly stood to hug his brother.

"Nothing much, but I noticed after the Battle Royal, your shoulder was giving you a bit of problems. Are you alright?"

"Yeah Matt, don't worry, I'll be fine, nothing I can't deal with." Jeff reassured Matt and he nodded.

"Okay, I'm about to head out, Queen Rebecca, King Maxel, and Lord Wolfgang are waiting."

"Alright, I'm going to hang here for a bit. Be careful." Jeff said as he plopped back down on the bench in the locker room.

"You too." Matt smiled before heading out. Jeff grabbed his phone and noticed notifications from his social media accounts. He began to scroll down his news feed and a name appeared on his screen, Trish Stratus. He was not currently following her, because of the past the two shared, during their early years in the company, but something in his mind was telling to check her page to see what the blonde has been up to.

As her page loaded, a photo stood out to him, there was a picture of Trish posing proudly with her baby bump. He clicked on the photo and glanced over it, before going back and scrolling through more of her photos. He glanced at the woman that was once his, but because the two were so different their relationship failed. After a few minutes, he decided it was best to put down his phone, but now he couldn't get her off his mind.

//Flashback// Jeff's POV

The year was 2000, Matt, Test, Albert, Lita, and I were called to one of Vince's boardrooms to discuss what the future held for us within the company. Vince being himself walked into the room with his head held high and his awkward strut. Once he was seated, he smiled at the superstars in the room, "So I assume you guys want to know what storyline the six of you will be involved in. After speaking to the creative team, I decided, you three will be teamed up together to create Team Xtreme, and you two will be teamed up as T & A." The guy stated, everyone glanced at one another. I looked at the look on Lita's face and she seemed to be quite confused.

"Mr. McMahon? You said the storyline involves six people, there are only five in this room, excluding you." The red head stated, I nodded because she had a point.

"Ah, well that's exactly who I was about to introduce. Lady and gentlemen, meet WWF's newest diva. Trish Stratus!!" He said as he walked towards the door and opened it.

Everyone glanced towards the doorway, and I was absolutely stunned. The woman known as Trish Stratus, is impeccably gorgeous. She walked in the room shyly but waved to everyone before Vince invited her to take a seat. The next few words before the meeting was adjourned, were actually somewhat nonexistent, I was only focusing on her. What seemed like eternity, my glaze was finally broken from her, the moment I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see my brother signaling it was time for us to leave. I stood up and glanced at her one last time before leaving. At that moment I decided that one day she will be mine.

I tried to shake those thoughts, because I love the life I live now, but now I'm thinking about how life could have been if she stayed as mine.
