Epilouge
So, it's me.
I kinda abandoned this journal. So much so that it's been fifteen years since I've written. Yep. Fifteen years. I'm a horrible person, I know.
Anyway, remember that night that I was seventeen and had to go out and kill all those supernatural creatures? Well, as you can tell, I'm not dead. And not being dead is a good thing. Now, you might be be wondering where everyone is at in life. Or maybe you aren't. Either way, I'm going to tell you.
Phil Lester went back to England after we all graduated. I haven't heard much about him but he published a book and is working on a sequel to it. Also, that book being made into a movie. I'm happy for him.
Nate Smith and Morgan Want (Morgan Smith technically) dated through high school and college and got married when they were both twenty-five. They now have a son and he is adorable. But he doesn't beat my son. (More on that in a bit).
Matthew Patrick ended up graduating Valedictorian of our class. He went to Harvard and got a Master's degree in computer science. He also developed the first ever flying car that it currently being reproduced and will go on sale two years from now.
Mark Fischbach ended up dying a week after the events of the blood moon occurred. His mom died along with him. He was happy because a note was found in his trumpet case. "I will die in a car accident today. Know that I've lived and loved my life. Please don't miss me. I'm in a better place."
It's really hard not to miss him sometimes. He was awesome.
Hunter Hughes, my own brother. I haven't talked to him since he moved out of the house after he graduated college. But I haven't heard good things about him. Apparently he's battling an alcohol addiction. I really wish I could talk to him but, as I said before, I lost contact with him.
Dan Howell. I can tell you all about him. I married him. I was one of the lucky people that got to marry their high school sweetheart. We got married when we were twenty-six and adopted our son Damon when we were twenty-seven. We adopted Damon when he was twelve. He recently turned seventeen and he's on the road to being Valedictorian of his class and he's a wonderful musician. He gets that from his dad. Dan is absolutely amazing at playing piano.

A knock on my door disrupted me from my writing. I closed my old journal and told whoever was knocking to come in. Damon came in.
"Hi sweetie." I said to him.
"Hi Mom." He said, running a hand through his now-black hair. It used to be brown but we allowed him to dye it. "Listen, I'm about to tell you something completely crazy."
"Can't be any crazier than the things that your father has told me." I said, laughing. "Now, what's up?"
"Because of the blood moon, six people are now supernatural creatures." He said. "And now everyone's relying on me to kill them all."
"That's how Everton works." I said, smiling.
"Wait," he said, starting to piece together what I was implying. "You mean-"
"I did it once." I said. "That's the day your father said that he had a crush on me. I actually saved him. He was a werewolf."
"Cool!" Damon said. "I could never imagine Dad as a werewolf!"
I chuckled and said, "Would you mind us tagging along or are we not cool enough for that?"
"Nah, you guys can come." Damon said. "I'll go grab the supplies."
"I'll go grab Dad." I said.

"Dan!" I said, running down the stairs.
"What?" He demanded, darting up from the couch. "What's wrong?"
I laughed and wrapped my arms around him. "Nothing."
"Then why the hell did you come running down the stairs like that?" He asked.
"Because the blood moon prophecy is happening all over again." I said. "And you know what that means..."
"We get to relive that night all over again!" He said. "I'm surprised Damon is actually letting us go with him."
"He's different from other kids." I said. "We took him in. Other kids have lived with their parents since the day they were born."
"Well, not all of them."
"You know what I mean."
He laughed and we kissed. We didn't get to kiss for very long before Damon came down the stairs.
"Can you guys stop making out so that we can go?" He teased.
"I'll remember that when you have a girl over." Dan teased back, still keeping his arms around me.
"Fine. I'm sorry." He said, keeping a smile on his face. "Can we go now?"
*****
I never thought that I would get to relive that night. All's that's missing is Hunter and the teasing remarks he made to me before I set out the first time. Ah well. This will have to do.
Well, Damon's nagging me to stop writing so I'll end it here. Hopefully it won't take me another fifteen years to write another entry.
