Ch 5
A/N: Hey everyone! Hope you guys liked the last chapter. This chapter is a light one, but the next one is totally opposite. An important point in this story takes place in the next chapter, so stay tuned for that. Read the A/N at the end to find out when the next chapter will be out. On with the chapter!
"We also want to join the Order, Draco." Theo told his best friend. "And you are going to help us with that."
When Draco stayed as still as a statue for over five minutes, the other two wizards exchanged a look and then shifted their focus back on to their best friend.
"Do you think that you manage to shock our dear dragon with your announcement, Theo?" The Italian wizard asked him.
"I thought that nobody and nothing would have been able to achieve that thing, you know?" He told him. "But it seems like I have accomplished the impossible."
"Yeah and you can throw a party about it later on if you want." Blaise rolled his eyes at him. "But right now, we need Draco to stop being a statue so that he would be able to help us."
"Hang on, I have an idea." Theo told him and then shifted a little bit on the couch and leaned sideways so that it appeared as if he was looking at someone who was standing out of the bedroom.
Not that it mattered anyways, because the bedroom door was closed.
"Oh look, who has come to grace our precious dragon with her presence, Blaise." Theo said loudly, and nudged his friend in his ribs.
"This is not going to work." Blaise shook his head. "Draco will realise that no one can enter his room, let alone Granger."
"Oh my dear friend." Theo smirked at him. "You underestimate the power of love, that too of Draco's love for Granger."
He once again turned towards the door and shouted, "Hey Granger!"
As if he wanted to prove Theo right, Draco snapped out of his trance and stood up. He immediately began looking around and asked, "Where is Granger?"
Apparently the fact that the door was closed, and was warded against intruders, specially the ones whom Draco had not added to the list, and the fact that the Malfoy Heir had himself done the deed, had not yet registered in his mind.
Or even the fact that there was no way that Hermione would have been able to enter the Malfoy Manor, let alone his room on her own.
But well, just as Draco started turning towards the door, he suddenly paused and turned towards his best friends.
"Why the heck would Granger be here, idiots?" He asked the other two wizards, who were laughing while sitting on the couch and high fiving each other. "She has no reason to be here, understand?"
"Hey, don't call me an idiot, dear dragon." Blaise warned him, but with a look which clearly stated that he was enjoying this. "It wasn't me who said a statement that sent you into a shock mode and then came up with an idiotic plan. I even told Theo that his plan won't work."
"How nice of you to do that, Blaise." Draco sneered at him.
"But hey, the plan did work, didn't it?" Theo interjected. "You should give some credit to my great thinking skills, Blaise. I know how to make things work. And as for you, Draco, Granger definitely has a reason to be here. And the reason is the love you have for her."
"Love? I think you might be delusional, Nott, but I definitely don't have a percent of love for Granger. I hate her so much-"
"I didn't know that love was spelled as hate in your dictionary, dear dragon." Theo rolled his eyes at his best friend. "Do learn to spell things right, okay? I am sure Granger won't appreciate it if you keep spelling things wrong. Honestly, spelling love as hate? Only you, Draco, only you."
"Shut up, Nott." The blond wizard glared at him as he crossed his arms in front of him. "Granger can go to hell for all I care-"
"So you do care." Blaise nodded to himself. "I knew it, of course. But you only took, what, seven years to recognise that. Anyone could have told you in your first year only that you were head over heels for Granger. But of course, the great Draco Malfoy just had to be the most oblivious idiot ever-"
"I will let you know that I am actually the Brightest Wizard of Our Age, okay?" Draco puffed his chest out as he said that.
"Does anyone even call you with that title?" Blaise and Theo frowned at him.
"Okay weren't we talking about you two wanting to be Order members?" Draco asked, quickly changing the topic.
"Nice try in changing the topic, dear dragon-"
"What will it take for you both to call me by my given name?" The Slytherin Prince shook his head at them. "Draco is such a nice, powerful name and you two have to call me dragon-"
"Do you think he knows that Draco stands for dragon in Latin?" Blaise whispered to Theo.
"Do you think I am a fool?" Draco, who had heard what his best friend had whispered, asked.
"Of course." The other two wizards immediately nodded their heads to that.
"Good luck convincing the Order to accept you two on your own then." Draco rolled his eyes and as an attempt to end the conversation, sat down on his bed and accioed a book towards him.
Only for it to be taken away by Theo.
"Draco please." Theo pleaded and took his hand in his as he sat down beside his best friend on the bed. "Please help us, we can't live this life anymore, we want to help you guys as well."
The Malfoy Heir looked at him for a moment and then pulled his hand away. "Realised my value now, did you? And fine, no need to do too much drama.
"Oh you are the best, dear dragon!" Blaise and Theo exclaimed as the two of them engulfed Draco in a big hug.
"Get off me!" The blond wizard snarled and pulled out of their embrace. "I don't like hugs-"
"Unless they are from your parents and Granger, yes we know-"
"Do you want me to help you or not?" Draco crossed his arms in front of him and narrowed his eyes at them. "I can always say no."
"Then we will complain about you to Narcissa." Theo told him.
"You wouldn't dare." His glare intensified. "But fine, go and tell her. I am the one who meets with Kingsley, not her. So only I can get the message to them."
"I will take revenge once we have become Order members." Theo grumbled. "Lead the way then, Draco, we shouldn't waste any time in meeting Dunderhead Potter and Company."
"Wait a second, Blaise." Draco stopped his best friend by putting his hand on his shoulder just as the Italian wizard tried to walk past him. "Are you sure you want to come to Grimmauld Place?"
"And why won't I be sure, oh dear dragon?" He asked with furrowed eyebrows.
Ignoring his comment, the blond wizard said, "You do know who will be there with the Order right?"
"Potter, Weasley family, McGonagall-"
"A certain witch you once fancied-"
"The only which I fancy is Pansy, who is not coming with us to the Order-"
"I meant Weaslette." Draco finished. "You had feelings for her, Blaise. Are you sure you want to see her and Potter together?"
"You just said that I had feelings for her, Draco." Blaise sighed. "I don't anymore. The witch I am now with is Pansy, and I love her very much. So no, I don't think seeing her with her boyfriend would affect me."
"Plus, if it ever did," Theo began, "Just remember that Potter is a prat and we can get free entertainment by watching Red hex him day and night."
"Oh that's right." Draco smirked. "Red is the nickname Blaise came up with, isn't it?"
"You two are the worst." Blaise grumbled and quickly opened the door and left the room.
"Why are you so eager to see Red, Blaise?" The Malfoy Heir snickered as he followed his best friend out of his room. "At least wait for your best friend."
Theo, who was now the only person left in the room, frowned. "Did they realise that 'fancy' rhymes with Pansy?"
Outside the room, the blond Slytherin thought of the way they could go to Grimmauld Place undetected by Voldemort or any other Death Eaters.
Draco could only guess how the Order would react when he showed up with two more Death Eaters on their doorstep.
-------
"So spill the tea." Ginny instantly commanded as she dragged Hermione inside her room, locked the door, charmed it with a few spells so that no one else would be able to hear their talks, and made Hermione sit down on the bed.
"Why would you want to spill the tea?" Hermione, who knew what her best friend had actually meant, asked. "If you wanted to do that, you should have gone to the kitchen, instead of coming here."
"Hermione," Ginny warned her, "You know perfectly what I meant by that. So do not try to play innocent."
"I actually don't know what you are talking about-"
"Hermione Jean Granger." The redheaded witch glared at her best friend as she sat down opposite her on the bed. "You will do the girl talk about boys with me right now, or so help me, I will go this instant to the living room and shout at the top of my lungs that you are in love with Draco Lucius Malfoy."
"You will do no such thing!" The Brightest Witch of Her Age gasped.
"I am a woman of my word, Granger-"
"Since when do you call me Granger-"
"If the love your life, as known as Draco 'oh I am so awesome and everyone has a crush on me' Malfoy, can call you Granger, then why can't I?" The youngest Weasley frowned at her. "This is so unfair, you know? I will complain about this to everyone. In fact, Kingsley is here as well right now, so I will just go and tell him about this."
"Done with your drama?" The muggle born witch rolled her eyes. "I swear you are as bad as Malfoy when it comes to being a drama queen. 'It's killed me! It's killed me!' Such a whiny idiot he is. And you are just like him. I don't know why you two aren't best friends cum siblings yet."
"We would have been best friends goal but you see, there is this little problem of him hating everything and everyone associated with the name Weasley." Ginny shrugged. "And he practically hates every Gryffindor, except you, I guess, so I don't see us becoming best friends. But of course, since you are like my sister, we will learn to tolerate each other since he will be my brother in law-"
"Woah woah, hold on for a second." The brunette witch's eyes widened. "The heck are you talking about? Malfoy has hated me since first year and still does, and what is this about him becoming your brother in law?"
"Honestly, who in their right mind gave you the title of the Brightest Witch of Her Age?" She rolled her eyes. "You are as dense and oblivious as Harry when it comes to the matters of heart. How can Malfoy hate the girl he is love with since first year? And now, if you don't spill the tea, then I will go and tell him that you are in love with him."
"But I am not in love with Malfoy, Ginny!" Hermione exclaimed.
"Who cares?" She shrugged. "He doesn't know that, and that's all that matters. Besides, you are just lying to yourself. Malfoy is pretty handsome, and talented. And I heard that he is a brilliant kisser. Even Fleur told me the same. And if those rumours are true, then I suppose-"
"GINNY!" Hermione yelled, her face turning red. "Harry, your boyfriend, won't appreciate you talking like that."
"Just because Harry doesn't like it, doesn't mean I can't appreciate Malfoy's good looks." Ginny answered.
"You shouldn't talk about Malfoy like that." The brunette witch's cheeks were still red.
"You are talking as if you have been in a secret relationship with Malfoy all these years and have kissed plenty of times."
At that, Hermione's face turned even redder, if that was even possible.
And Ginny's eyes widened with suspicion.
"Don't tell me that's true!" The younger witch exclaimed. "Oh my Godric, Hermione! You and Malfoy? When did that happen? Tell me everything now!"
"Shut your mouth!" Hermione put her hands on a jumping up and down Ginny. "You got it totally wrong. I have never been in a relationship with Malfoy, nor do I want to be."
"Then why did you blush earlier?"
"Something had happened at the Yule Ball." She muttered.
Before Ginny could say anything, Hermione said, "It was nothing really. We were stuck under a Mistletoe when he found me at the stairs and well we just kissed and then went back to our dorms separately."
"How was the kiss? Is he a good kisser? Is the rumours-"
"I am not answering any of that."
"Guess I will have to just ask Malfoy then." Ginny sighed.
"You would do no such thing- hang on," She narrowed her eyes at her friend, "When you say that even Fleur told you the same, what do you mean by that?"
"Look, no need to get jealous-"
"Why would I be jealous-"
"Malfoy really loves you and only you, Hermione-"
"Sod off, Ginny, you don't know that at all. We are enemies-"
"But Fleur and Malfoy had gone to a party of a mutual friend when he went to France just before the Quidditch Cup." Ginny explained it to her. "And well they kissed when they played spin the bottle at the party and that's that."
"Really?" Hermione's eyes widened. "You are telling me a fourteen year old Malfoy was described as a brilliant kisser by Fleur?"
"Oh yes." She nodded. "She told me those exact words."
"And when did you have this talk with her exactly?"
"Yesterday." Ginny answered. "We were getting bored and started talking about crushes and all, and who looked very good at the Yule Ball and then Malfoy just came up in our conversation."
"Whatever. I think we should go back down-"
"So eager to see Malfoy, are we?" Ginny smirked at her best friend.
"Shut up." The Brightest Witch of Her Age cut her off. "I just think that we need to be present in the meeting."
"Oh lighten up, Hermione." She said. "Everyone's being tense right now, we should have some fun conversations to lighten the mood."
But still, Ginny accompanied Hermione as she opened the door and went down the stairs.
But before they could enter, the redheaded witch stopped Hermione and said, "Whether or not you are in love with Malfoy, I think you should make it clear to my brother that you don't like him in that way anymore."
"How do you even know about that-"
"Because I know the way you look at Malfoy." Ginny winked at her and then entered the room.
Leaving behind a shocked Hermione who was absolutely sure that she did not look at Draco in any way which made Ginny so sure that she was in love with the blond wizard.
-------
A few hours later.....
After the Order meeting, in which Kingsley decided that just like the Malfoys had been given a chance, Blaise and Theo would be given a chance as well to prove themselves useful to the Order of the Phoenix.
After all, the more supporters they had, the better.
Specially those which were in the army of the Dark Lord, so that they could get some inside information.
Kingsley had told Blaise and Theo that they would be working together with Draco, and had asked Hermione to give them the protean charmed galleons, during which, the Nott and Zabini Heirs had smirked suggestively at the Malfoy Heir.
Just when Draco had thought that all awkward meetings had been done for the day, it seemed as if his stars were too stubborn to listen to him, and had asked Hermione Jean Granger to slither her way into his life.
The Gryffindor Princess was slithering her way into the Slytherin Prince's life.
Too. Much. Fun.
For everyone except Draco, that is.
The blond wizard had been about to head back to his Manor along side his best friends, when Hermione had grabbed his hand, and dragged him to the kitchen.
All the while ignoring a smirking Ginny.
Whatever Draco had expected to see in the kitchen, it was certainly not a dark haired witch walking slowly here and there, muttering something which he did not understand, with a blue coloured baby resting in her arms.
He gasped when the woman turned towards him, and immediately took his wand out, but not before swiftly pushing Hermione behind him, an action which tried to protect her.
For that woman was none other than Bellatrix.
Only, the woman couldn't be that deranged aunt of his in any way, for Draco had himself seen Molly Weasley kill her at the Battle of Hogwarts.
Hermione sighed and pushed Draco's arm from around her despite his protests.
Thank Godric Ginny was in the living room right now, lest the red headed witch tried to tease the muggle born witch later on.
"I think it is high time that you reunite with your estranged family members, Malfoy." She told him. "It was not your fault that the ties had been severed between your family and hers. You deserve to get to know them."
Taking a deep breath, she walked forwards until she reached that woman, and beckoned Draco to step closer towards them.
Which he did, albeit hesitantly.
"Malfoy," Hermione said, "Meet your aunt Andromeda Tonks, and your cousin Tonks' son, Teddy Lupin."
Draco almost fainted.
Luckily for him, Occlumency came as his knight in a shining armour to protect him, or more like not letting others see the expression of shock on his face.
And then came the awkwardness.
Feeling the hesitation from both sides, Hermione took one look at them and then made some rubbish excuse about checking something and left the kitchen.
Draco could have hexed her because of that.
Just then, the little baby in his aunt's hands, Teddy, let out a loud wail and the witch got busy in shushing him.
Suddenly, he was hit by a memory of the Battle, when he had seen his cousin Tonks and her husband lying side by side on the ground.
No, Draco stopped himself, he did not want to go there.
He wasn't ready to talk about the Battle with anyone.
So he said the next best thing that came to his mind.
"So you are my Aunt Andromeda." The blond wizard said as his aunt looked at him with a 'what's wrong with him' expression.
Draco could have killed himself right then and there instead of having this conversation.
--------
Fortunately or unfortunately, Draco didn't know, his parents arrived a few minutes later to save him from the awkwardness.
Though he guessed it had to be none other than Hermione 'oh I can't keep my nose out of other people's business and can't help but being nosey all the time' Granger, who had called his parents there.
As he had suspected, he heard a conversation between the Boy Who Could Get Away With Everything Including Almost Killing Draco and the Brightest Witch of Her Age.
"Harry, be quiet. Someone will hear us!"
Now, the Malfoy Heir doesn't support eavesdropping at all, but he couldn't help but hear this conversation.
No, he wasn't nosey.
He was just curious.
And his curiosity increased by a long mile when he heard his name being spoken by none other than his arch nemesis.
Yes, they were still enemies.
Just because Draco was a part of the Order of the Phoenix now, almost that is, it didn't mean he would end his seven years long rivalry with Harry.
"I don't care about that, Hermione. You shouldn't have done that. Asking Andromeda to bring Teddy here? That too when Malfoy is here-"
"They are his family, Harry!" The muggle born witch shouted. "Malfoy deserves to get to know them. He never got to meet Sirius because of something that had happened when he wasn't even born. How is that his fault? For Godric's sake, Harry, you got to meet Sirius and Tonks when he is never going to get the chance to do that. You are closer to Andromeda and Teddy than he is. You are literally Teddy's godfather. Don't you think if anyone deserved to get that position, it is Malfoy? He's Tonks' cousin, he deserved to play that role more than you. But he didn't even get to spent a second with his cousin because of something that was done years ago. This war destroyed many things, Harry, and I won't let it destroy something more. Something that Malfoy deserved because in case you hadn't noticed, he was as much a victim as we were! Be grateful that at least you don't have to live in a house full of Death Eaters and eat meals with You-Know-Who."
Not giving her best friend to say anything, Hermione huffed and turned around. Before she could walk away, she took one last look at him, and said, "And that is why I called Malfoy's parents here. Everyone deserves a second chance, but not everyone gets it. And I am going to do as much as it is there in my power to make sure that the deserving people get their chance."
Lifting her chin up, Hermione marched out of the room, not noticing a certain blond Slytherin standing close to the room, hiding in the shadows.
Inside the room, Harry shook his head and grumbled, "So now Malfoy has trapped my best friend in some spell. What was Hermione actually thinking? Calling his parents here? This is not a soap opera or something."
Draco frowned and headed towards the living room, all the while thinking that why would an opera be related to soaps.
Or perhaps why the Chosen One thought that people here were watching soaps.
Didn't people have anything interesting to do?
Stupid muggles and their stupid things.
Anyways, when he entered the living room, he had to stand next to Hermione because the Weasleys were standing in the free space and he had no desire to be next to them.
In the center of the room, Lucius Malfoy stood a few feet away from his wife, who was standing in front of Andromeda, their bodies tense and stiff.
Slowly, Narcissa stepped forwards and muttered, "Andy."
Her sister let out a sniff and after quickly handing over Teddy to Hermione, stepped towards Narcissa and wrapped her arms around the witch.
Draco felt unrecognised emotions rise in his body as he watched his mother cry loudly while hugging her sister tightly, who was doing the same.
He gulped and looked at his father, who was pointedly staring at his feet, as if they were the most fascinating thing in this world.
Maybe Lucius was feeling guilty for not allowing his wife and son to reconnect with their estranged family members.
Hearing a sniff next to him, Draco frowned and turned his head to see Hermione crying softly at the sight in front of her.
"Granger." He sighed. "No need to be so dramatic-"
"Shut up." She grumbled, but for some unknown reason he found no malice in her voice. "While the sisters are having their reunion, I think you should also properly meet your first cousin once removed, Malfoy."
"Granger, I-"
"Here, take him." After telling him how to position his hands, Hermione carefully leaned forwards and placed a sleeping Teddy in his arms.
All the while Hermione adjusted the baby's clothes, Draco stood stiff as a statue.
Why was no one stopping Hermione from doing this?
Slowly, Teddy opened his brown eyes to look at the blond wizard. "Malfoy, meet Edward Lupin-"
"I thought his name was Teddy-"
"That is what we all call him. His actual name is Edward."
As if sensing the connection he had with Draco, Teddy blinked and his hair turned platinum blond, the exact shade of his cousin.
"What the heck, Granger?"
"Hey careful." She warned him and stepped closer towards him as she placed a hand under Teddy's head. "You will drop him. No need to look so shocked, Malfoy, he is just a metamorphmagus like his mother."
"A metamorphmagus?" Draco whispered and lightly touched his baby cousin's hair. "But why did he turn his hair the exact same shade as mine?"
"Maybe he likes you." Hermione offered.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
It was becoming too awkward for Draco. "Well why wouldn't he? Everyone likes me."
Hermione shook her head but allowed a small smile to make its way to her face. "I think Tonks would have liked you."
"It would have been mutual then, if what I have heard from some other people. But I absolutely hate Hufflepuffs." The blond wizard rolled his eyes. "They are the worst."
The Gryffindor Princess opened her mouth to retort but stopped as she looked at the wizard who was still looking at Teddy, subconsciously muttering something Hermione didn't understand.
Maybe some wonders would come out of this war.
--------
A few hours later....
"Did you say something?" Hermione frowned at Draco.
He mumbled something again.
"Excuse me?"
He said something a little louder.
"Can't you say whatever the hell you are saying in a normal voice-"
"Freaking hell, Granger." Draco snapped at her. "I was thanking you. Learn to accept someone's thanks at once instead of asking them to repeat it again and again."
"Then you should learn to speak thanks clearly instead of making the other person ask so many times." She retorted.
"Then the other person should have common sense and good hearing."
"Common sense? Really? Then the person thanking should not have been a prat for seven years straight that whenever he says or tries to say something nice, people get shocked."
"Then the people should learn that people tend to change." Draco argued. "And thanking someone should not come as a shock to other people-"
Hermione cut him off. "It will come as a shock when prats like you do that-"
"Well then people like you, beaver, should believe in everyone and instead of continuously calling the person thanking them 'prat', they should learn to say welcome-"
"HELLO LOVEBIRDS!" Blaise and Theo interrupted them as they entered the kitchen. "So anything new other than you two flirting all the time going on here?"
"The heck you two idiots are talking about?" Draco snarled them and took some step forwards towards them.
It was then he noticed that he had subconsciously moved towards Hermione while arguing with her.
Perhaps it was good that his two best friends had interrupted their conversation.
Not that Draco thought anything would happen, but still.
He needed to keep reminding himself to stay away from her again and again.
"Oh we are just stating the obvious, you know?" Blaise shrugged. "But then of course, you two are as oblivious and clueless about these things as they come."
"Also why are you two in the kitchen?" Theo inquired. "The rest of the Order is in the living room, except you two."
"Isn't it obvious, Theo?" Blaise said. "They needed to get away from everyone else to have a full on snogging session. Privacy, you know?"
Hermione rolled her eyes. "Listen, I don't know what the hell is going on in your mind, Zabini, but-"
"It is Blaise for you, Hermione."
"Need I remind you that you have a girlfriend, Zabini?" Draco narrowed his eyes at him. "You can stop flirting with her."
"Need I remind you that I have a girlfriend that I love very much, dear dragon-"
Draco glared at him.
"-Draco, I mean Draco. Yeah so, need I remind you that I have a girlfriend that I love very much, Draco? I would of course never flirt with any other girl, let alone your girl."
"Shut the heck up, Zabini." Hermione and Draco yelled together.
"You know what they say about people in love, right Blaise?" Theo asked him. "They tend to say and agree on the same things. Great minds think alike after all. And these two great minds are in love as well."
After exchanging a look with each other, Hermione and Draco pointed their wands in front of them and simultaneously hit the other two wizards standing in front of them with Opugno, and smirked as yellow canary birds appeared out of nowhere and started hitting them again and again.
"STOP IT, YOU TWO!" Blaise and Theo screamed as they tried to save themselves from the birds but to no avail.
Hermione and Draco simply shook their heads and shared a knowing look.
"They are quite useful, aren't they? The birds, I mean." The Brightest Witch of Her Age whispered to the wizard standing next to her.
"Oh definitely." The blond Slytherin Prince whispered back. "Besides, the spell is a good one to use on people who are disturbing or annoying you. Like you had done two years back."
Hermione frowned. When had she used Opugno in front of Draco?
As far as she could recall, the last time she had cast this spell in her sixth year had been when Ron had kissed Lavender in front of the Gryffindors in their common room, and when she had seen them later on, she hadn't been able to control her and had cast the spell.
But the only person present in that area besides her and the couple had been Harry, and he sure as hell had not told Draco anything.
So when had Draco seen her performing the spell?
Draco, who had not yet noticed his slip up, was laughing at his best friends. It was only when he turned to Hermione and saw her stiff posture did he realise what he had said.
But thanks to his two best friends, he was saved from answering any questions she might have had.
"Remember what I said about great minds in love, Blaise?" Theo managed to speak between his hisses of pain.
"Think they just proved you right, Theo." The Italian wizard answered. "They really do think similar, which is a given after all."
With that, two ran away from there, all the while yelling at the birds to stop hitting them.
Neither of them thought to take their own wands out to vanish the birds.
"So," Draco cleared his throat, "What I was trying to say before those two idiots interrupted us and the argument, well, I wanted to thank you. For allowing me to meet my aunt and cousin and also for calling my parents here. I-it means a lot to them, honestly."
And it means a lot to me too, he left unsaid.
"You are welcome, Malfoy, but you don't have to thank me." Hermione shrugged. "I did what I felt was right."
Though Draco wanted to say more, to talk with her about the conversation she had had with Harry, he simply nodded and turned back to the counter.
A few minutes later, Hermione picked up the bowl of pasta sauce and as she was trying to move it, she unintentionally tripped and the bowl fell on Draco, covering his shirt in sauce.
"Oh Godric, I am so sorry, Malfoy!" She shrieked. "Here let me clean it-"
"Wait, Granger." He stopped her. "Don't clean this directly with your wand. It will ruin my shirt. Do you know how expensive it is? Let me first lighten the stain with water."
Without bothering to wait for her reply, Draco placed the bowl back on the counter and removed his shirt.
He did not notice Hermione staring at his bare chest and torso.
A/N: That's it for this chapter. It was 5200+ words. Hope you guys liked it. As I had mentioned, it was a fluffy chapter, and the Black sisters had a reunion. I always found it unfair that Draco had to be away from his family members because of a feud, so I had to add something here. Random question: What's your opinion on Andromeda Tonks? Answer in the comments below. Vote, comment and please share my story. Reviews are always appreciated. Thank you!
Next chapter on 6/8/21(Saturday).
Until next time.
