A Game of Night and Day
The golden sun mocks me,
In all its painful bright beams.
The fair sun haunts me,
And it's everything it seems.
For they all love you,
Adoration and smiles;
Oh why, dear sister,
Must you keep up this guile?
I do not mock you,
Or your pale silver gaze.
I do not haunt you,
Lost in your daze.
For while, dear sister,
It seems like a dream,
Remember, sweet sister,
Not everything's as it seems.
But to you, all the glory,
All the attention and cheer,
While, for me, they sleep,
And beneath me they fear.
For you bring them joy
While I make them flee.
Now to this, my sister,
Wouldn't you agree?
To me goes no glory,
So quit this whining.
For you, them sleeping
Is just unfortunate timing.
I bring no joy,
This you can see.
So please, little sister,
Don't argue with me.
See, there it is!
You're doing it now!
Acting so superior,
As if I should bow.
And there you go,
Yelling at me.
Is this really
How it always has to be?
Just know, mighty sister,
No matter what I see,
Your old, grand title
Holds no importance to me.
Even though we are different,
You there and me here,
Just know, dear sister,
I will always be near.
And know, tiny sister,
Though you haven't a clue,
No matter what happens
I'll always love you.
A/N: I know, I've already used a similar title, but I'm really bad with naming things...
