CHAPTER ONE-HUNDRED-FIVE: RED LIGHT !

12x22

━━━━━━

CASEY WILLOWS WATCHED AS HER HUSBAND GLARED AT THE WOMAN RESPONSIBLE FOR PUTTING HIM IN PRISON. Never once did Casey ever consider this woman to pull these strings and be the reason her husband was in prison in the first place. She would've thought she was done with the bitch.

All Cat could do was smile devilishly at Spencer. "Spencie." She smirked. "Where's my mother and where's my son?" Spencer questioned, showing no emotion at all. "I missed you." Cat ignored.

"What did you and Lindsey do to them? How did you—?" Before Spencer could approach further, Cat pointed a threatening finger at him. "No. Stop. You don't get to walk in here and hiss at me like I'm the criminal. Now, we do this my way."

Cat kicks the chair towards Spencer and Spencer sits down in it, in no mood for any of Cat's games. "Have a seat." Casey stood in the corner, watching the woman as she spoke to her husband. "How was prison? Did you like it?" Cat asked.

"No." Spencer answered. "It's not fun, is it?" Cat questioned. "Unlike you, I didn't deserve to be there." Spencer told. "How did you stay sane? A brain like yours needs stimulation in such a gray place." Cat stated, leaning forward.

"I worked in the laundry room and I played chess." Spencer told. "That's three, maybe four hours, tops. What about the other 20?" Cat asked. "I read." Spencer told. "That's still not enough." Cat said. "You have to... go someplace." She looked towards Casey as she points to her head. Casey knew not to let this woman intimidate her but this woman took everything from her. She wanted to make her pay internally. "Up here. Or else you go crazy. Do you want to see where I go?" Cat asks Spencer.

"I'll show you. Come here." Cat gets Spencer to sit forward in front of her and as Cat goes to touch Spencer's face, Casey speaks up. "No touching." She ordered. Spencer turns over to the stern face of his wife and Cat just stares at the woman. She smirks to herself and then goes to touch Spencer's eyelids. "Close your eyes. Good. Now keep them shut. Sit back and relax." Spencer sits back in the chair.

"Now, when you open your eyes, I want you to look at me like I'm the first woman you've seen after being in prison for 3 months." Casey scoffed as Cat spoke to him, knowing that this woman meant nothing to him and her words meant nothing to Casey. She wasn't gonna let the bitch push her down when she'd already been knocked too far down.

Casey watched as they interact, like they're in a different setting. Casey knows Spencer has to do what he has to do in order to save his mother and son. "Hello, Cat." Spencer said, pulling together a content face despite all of the pain written in it.

"You're here!" Cat giggles. "You're really here." "There's nowhere else I would rather be." Spencer says convincingly. "You're good at this. You're so good at this, I almost believe you don't want to kill me." Cat tells. "I don't want to kill you." Spencer says, calm.

"No?" Cat asks. Spencer shakes his head, "No." Cat thinks to herself. "What if I let your mother die? Or your son? Then would you kill me? Better yet, would Wifey kill me? Or would you just.. hurt me? Would you pin me down and leave bruises that don't go away?" Spencer leans forward. "Is that what you want?" He asks. "I guess I just want to know if you would. If you could." Cat tells. "No." Spencer answers. "No?" Cat asks. Spencer shakes his head. "It's not the kind of man I am." That was true.

Cat takes a look towards the woman in the corner. "Do me a favor and tell Wifey over there to step aside, because we're gonna play another game. And this time, we're going to find out exactly what kind of man you are."

Spencer turns over to his wife and nods to her assuring that it's okay. Casey shows one last glare to Cat before walking out of the room and joining JJ, watching them through the glass.

"You alright?" JJ asks. "The stench of a bitch can stay on you." Casey comments as she stands next to JJ, watching them behind the double-glass.

"Let's play." Spencer tells Cat and she smirks, "Let's!"

So, Cat's game was simple. Instead of Cat asking questions, Spencer would now be asking questions. Cat had a secret and if Spencer figured out the secret via questions and could only guess the secret once, Cat would call Lindsey on Spencer's phone and tell her to release Diana and Chris unharmed. If he didn't, something bad would happen. Cat had used Spencer's watch to keep track of the time. He only had four hours to figure it out.

And they only had gotten through one. He'd asked a few questions but Spencer hadn't gotten through to her yet. "I know what the secret is." He finally spoke after what seemed like ever. "You do?" Cat asks. "Why else would you put me through all this?" Spencer questions.

"Ooh, phrasing it in the form of a question. That way it doesn't count as a guess. Very smart, doctor." Cat told and Spencer leaned forward. "I'm gonna walk you through a scenario and your face is gonna tell me how close I am."

"From the moment I arrested you, you watched and waited for the right time to take your revenge. When you learned I was going to Mexico, you took it. You and Lindsey framed me for murder so I'd be put in prison and treated like a criminal, and then you kidnapped my mother so I would know how it feels to have a parent manipulated and my son to affect me even more so, maybe affect my wife as well, because you want to prove that you and I are the same." Spencer explained as Cat grew bored and fake yawned. "Am I right?"

"Sorry, I couldn't hold that in any longer." Cat tells as she finished her fake yawn. "What were you saying?"

"Psychopaths get bored easily." Spencer says. "You're right. Let's speed this up. Shall we?" Cat stands up and goes to sit on Spencer's lap. Casey knew that Cat knew she was outside of the glass and watching and this was her way of trying to get to her. She thrived off of this.

"Why don't you think about all the pain you've suffered in your life? What would I capitalize on, do you think? Is it the death of your mentor, SSA Jason Gideon?" Casey scoffed at the mention of her uncle's name. "No. Because we caught the man who killed him." Spencer answered.

"What about Agent Morgan? And your guilt over not visiting his little boy." Cat tells. "I was in prison." Spencer told. "Yeah, but you had time before that. Why didn't you go?" Cat questioned as she got closer to Spencer's face.

"Truthfully, I got distracted. I was trying to figure out a way to help my mom. She didn't have time. Morgan, Savannah, and little Bobby did." As Spencer stated that, JJ and Casey exchange a look at the name misused. "So there's absolutely no shame in admitting that. Morgan would understand." "I agree," Cat said. "That's why that's not the secret."

Cat got off of Spencer's lap and went back to her seat as JJ pulled out her phone. "Good job, babe." Casey says to herself as JJ goes to call the team. She has it on speakerphone so Casey can hear what they're saying.

"Go ahead, JJ." Rossi speaks. "Hey, you got me and Casey. So, Cat has deep background on Spence. She knew about Gideon's death and Morgan leaving the team for his family."

"She's throwing him off-balance." Rossi guessed. "Yeah, but Spence also purposely gave the wrong name of Morgan's son, and she didn't correct him." JJ told. "She must have gotten her hands on Reid's confidential FBI file," Emily said. "It would mention relevant team information but wouldn't name Morgan's baby because of confidentiality reasons."

"We were thinking she's been getting help from someone inside the prison. This goes deeper than that." Rossi tells.

"Well, let's just hope Spence can get through to her with this. He can, he always has." Casey stated, crossing her arms as she watched them interact.

Spencer had wanted to guess this correctly and he began to decipher away in his head. Cat continued to play around with his watch to keep track of the time. Spencer finally spoke again. "Working deductively, the secret wouldn't be any of the topics you've already volunteered, because you wouldn't want to make it that easy on me."

"Genius, truly." Cat commented. "So what is left that I wouldn't want to admit?" Spencer asks but he quickly begins to figure it out piece by piece. "Love." He said. Cat stopped playing with the watch and Casey noticed it. "Is that what this is all about, love?" Spencer leans forward. "For my mother? For my son? My wife?" He tries to figure it out, reading into Cat's expressions. "No." He says to himself. "For you."

"You want me to admit that I am actually in love with you." Spencer tells. Cat scoffs, "Don't get me wrong, I love my fairy tales, clearly, as much as the next girl, but I'm not delusional." She said. "Are you sure about that?" Spencer asks.

"Very sure. So sure, in fact, that I had Lindsey leave a clue for you in your little scrapbook in your house." The XX•XY. "I couldn't have you come all the way down here and make a guess until I was positive. That is... until I tested positive."

As Cat says those words, Casey immediately watches as Cat drags a hand to her stomach and her eyebrows furrow and she realizes what Cat's talking about. "What, you're pregnant?" Spencer questioned.

"We're pregnant." Cat corrects and Casey's eyes widen and her heart drops to her stomach. She shakes her head and gasps. "No." Spencer denies. "Oh, yes. Mazel tov." Cat tells.

Casey can't move, she can't even breathe. She continues staring Cat down through the wall. She feels someone approach her. "Casey..." JJ starts. "Get her medical records and see if she's telling the truth." Casey chose to deny this. This was completely ridiculous. She didn't believe it for a second. This was just another one of Cat's games. And Spencer seemed just as clueless about the whole thing.

"Casey—" JJ tries.
"Now." Casey ordered.
JJ walked off, going to ask for what she needed.

━━━━━━

JJ immediately came back with the file that basically told them that Cat was indeed pregnant. Casey shook her head, not wanting this to be true. "It's not possible," Spencer told Cat. "Even if you are pregnant, the baby's not mine."

"Except for the part where it is." Cat said. "That's completely preposterous. You've been in prison." Spencer stated. "So have you." Cat pointed out.

"And we've never..."
"I know. We've never..." Cat smirks at Spencer and leans forward. "Ask me how I did it. Come on, ask me."

Spencer sighs, giving in. "How did you do it?" He asks. "I had Lindsey dose you in Mexico. You lost time. And I gave her very specific instructions to get you in the mood." Cat told.

"What, did she pretend to be you?" Spencer asked.
"Why, would that have worked?" Cat asks, intrigued.
"No." Spencer stated, matter-of-factly and Cat nodded, "Yeah, I know, I know. Believe me, I know exactly where I stand on the Spencer Reid hot or not list."

With a small smirk, she said, "I told her to pretend to be Casey." Casey's heart instantly dropped at the mention of her name and she clasped a hand over her mouth in shock. "Your wife. The love of your life. So dark... yet so useful. Who knew you'd be so responsive to her?"

Spencer's jaw clenched at the mention of his wife. "You're lying." He told.

"'Spencer, it's Casey. It's okay. Spencer, Spencer... Spencer, it's Casey. It's okay. You want this. It's okay. You want this.'"

Casey chokes back a sob and she feels bile making its' way to the back of her throat. She closes her mouth and feels like she's about to get sick. She heads towards one of the trash cans nearby and puked inside of it. How dare this woman use her to get to her husband in such a way that was cruel? A way he didn't even remember or know what was going on? Cat was sick and twisted.

"It didn't happen." She heard Spencer deny as she stands and wipes her mouth. "Hey, I was thinking, if it's a boy, we should definitely call him Spencie Junior." Spencer stands up from the seat, heading towards the door. "But if it's a girl, I think we should call her Casey. I mean, after all, she played such a huge role in her own conception!" She shouts as Spencer walks towards JJ and Casey.

"Spence, we might have something." JJ tells as Spencer practically snatched the file away from her. "She's three months. The timeline matches, but that doesn't necessarily mean—" He then throws the file towards the glass in anger, causing Casey to flinch as he does so. She doesn't move an inch as this happens and Spencer immediately apologizes for it. "I'm sorry, it's not you." He runs a hand through his face. "I just need a minute." He says as he faces towards the wall.

JJ walks off and before Casey goes to follow her, she lingers and tries to comfort Spencer in a way she knew how. She hovered her hand over his shoulder but stopped herself when she realized that maybe her touch wouldn't be the best thing to soothe him right now after finding out what her found. Hell, he probably won't ever touch her again. Casey sighed, following JJ and thinking to herself only one thing.

How can God give a baby to a woman like Cat but make a woman like Casey lose one?

━━━━━━

Spencer had eventually gone back in to talk to Cat after taking a break from doing so. JJ had come back after calling Emily and Casey had come back from taking a bathroom break. She popped a mint in her mouth before getting ready to go back in.

"Let's pretend you're telling the truth. That means I guessed it, right? The secret, the one I don't want to admit to? It's my child?" Spencer asks. "Is that your guess?" Cat asks. "You only get one, remember?"

"No," Spencer mutters to himself. "It's too easy." Cat looks down, bored. "Believe me, getting pregnant with your baby was not easy."

"You misunderstand. It's too easy emotionally. Because I can take your child from you. The child I had absolutely no role in creating, but a child that I would care for better than you." Spencer explained, sitting down in front of her.

Cat shakes her head. "That's rude." She tells.
"It's true," Spencer admits. "You can't be a mother, Cat. I'm not trying to insult you. It's your psychological makeup. You literally do not have the emotional skills to care for another human being. You'd lose interest in your own baby the way a six-year-old loses interest in a pet hamster. This baby is simply a means to an end, which is to keep me here playing your game, guessing like a fool, assuming something I never should have assumed in the first place."

"And what would that be?" Cat asks.

"My mother and my son are already dead." Spencer told. "They were dead before I walked in here." He sounded convincingly upset.

"They're not dead." Cat told.
"Yes, they are." Spencer stood up from the seat, heading to the door. "No, because that would be cheating and I don't cheat. You cheat."
"I'm done playing." Spencer has his hand on the door handle.
"Get back here." Cat ordered.
"Goodbye, Cat." Spencer opens the door and begins to leave.

Cat slams a hand against the table. "I'll let you talk to them!"

Casey turns her head to her husband in the doorway and her face is filled with hope and that they were getting somewhere. Spencer turns to his wife with a certain look on his face that told Casey and JJ that he had Cat right where he wanted her.

Looking back to Cat, he turns to Casey and JJ and JJ already has dialed in Garcia's number. "Yes, I'm here." She spoke. "Garcia, get ready to trace a call on Spence's phone." JJ tells and Garcia speaks, "Fired up, plugged in. Ready to go."

Spencer hands Cat his phone and leaves the door open as Casey peeks in to see what's going on. Cat dials in the number and holds it up for Spencer to hear through the speaker. Soon enough, Lindsey's voice picks up. "You're early." She spoke. "Yeah, I know." Cat said.

"Did he guess?" Lindsey asks. "No, not yet. We need proof of life." Cat tells. "All right. Hold on."

"Spencer!"
"Daddy!"
Spencer heard from the other side and immediately grabbed the phone from Cat's hand.

"Mom, Chris, are you okay?" Spencer asks and Casey walks into the room as she hears her son's name come out of her husband's lips. "I don't... know." Diana spoke. "Daddy! Mommy! Help!" Spencer heard from his son and before he can speak to his son, a loud explosion is heard and Casey flinches as she hears it. "Chris! Mom!" Spencer yelled. "Gotta go." Lindsey says before she hangs up.

JJ enters the room as she hears Spencer calling for Chris and his mother. Spencer hangs up the phone, haphazardly placing it on the table as he faces towards Cat with a look on his face. A look Casey swore she's never seen. "What the hell was that?" He questioned Cat.

"I don't know." Cat told. "Lindsey said you were early. Was that a signal?" Spencer questioned as both Casey and JJ try to get him to calm down but he ignored them and slammed his hand on the table. "Was that a prearranged signal to kill my mother and child?!" Spencer interrogated, anger building up in his voice. "Tell me the truth!"
"I am!" Cat shouted.
Spencer hits his hand across the table again as he yells violently. "Tell me the truth!"

"I am!" Cat yelled. "You want to know the truth? Your mother is an Alzheimer's-ridden moron who's getting dumber day by day, your son prone to illness - mental and physical - thanks to you both," She noted to Casey standing right there. "is earning lost hope and if they're dead, it's your fault." Cat jabbed right at Spencer.

Spencer had reacted by grabbing the table and launching it across the table and pushing Cat up against the wall and began to choke her with both hands. Casey and JJ reacted along with him, trying to pull him off of Cat.

"Spence!" JJ yelled.
"Spencer, stop it!" Casey shouted.

"I'm going to kill you." Spencer growled at Cat, cutting off her circulation, repeating those words to himself. "Spence." JJ tried. "Spencer, get off of her!" Casey yelled.
"Spence, she's pregnant. Spence, she's pregnant!" JJ reminded him. "Stop it!" Casey and JJ pulled Spencer away from Cat together.

JJ held Spencer back as Casey inserted herself in between Cat and Spencer. Casey knew Spencer couldn't hurt Cat without hurting her in the process. Cat gained access to breathe again and Casey looked at her husband as he took a breath.

Spencer looked at Cat's reaction and then over to Casey's reaction and could see that Casey's face was written in fear. He's never done that before. Nor did he ever think he was capable of doing that ever. Spencer's face faltered as he looked at his wife, who looked like she didn't even recognize him anymore. Her reaction broke him the most and it caused him to exit the room with his 'what have I done?' expression.

━━━━━━

Of course, after that, Spencer took a break from had just occurred, rightfully so. Casey paced outside of the interrogation room and debated on what to do. The officers had fixed up the room after Spencer had trashed it by knocking over the chairs and tossing the table across the room out of anger. Casey finally had decided what to do and approached the door, hesitating for a moment before JJ spoke up. "What are you doing?" She wondered.

"I'm gonna talk to her," Casey said. There was slight hesitation there, considering what occurred with Spencer and JJ was worried that maybe it would happen to Casey as well. It wasn't until Casey said, "Trust me on this." That she was completely assured.

JJ nodded and Casey looked through the screen before heading into the room. This was the first she'd be having a full sit-down with Cat Adams. "Oh, hi, Casey. Didn't expect to see you." Cat said. Casey could tell she was trying to play off her not being choked a minute ago, rather joking about it. "That husband of yours, yikes. He that aggressive in bed?"

"Funny," Casey said with no emotion. She took a seat at the chair her husband was sitting at before, in front of Cat. "You and I are gonna have a little chat while he gets his head on straight."

"About what?" Cat wondered.
"Your little fascination with my husband," Casey spoke. "I know you say that this baby is his, but I just think you're lying."

"What makes you say that?" Cat questions. "I just know," Casey shrugged. "Call it intuition." She sits back in the chair and then studies Cat's face to the best of her ability. "Where are they, Cat?"

Little did Casey know, her husband had made an appearance on the opposite side of the wall, watching as his wife interrogated the woman.

"Oh, please, Diana and Christopher are just fine. They're not dead. If your husband had just let me talk, he could've figured that out himself. Lindsey's taking good care of them." Cat told.

"If something happens to either one of them, if something happens to my son or my mother-in-law, I will kill you and trust that everybody else is gonna have to hold me back from doing that." Casey threatened.

Cat scoffed, "Oh, don't get all Mama Bear on me now. I could never hurt a kid, you of all people know that. I told Lindsey not to do anything to him."
"Then, why did you take him?" Casey wondered.
"Victim of opportunity," Cat said and then looked at Casey, wondering what was so special about Little Miss Wifey. "You know, maybe I can just have Lindsey raise him on her own. God knows she needs a kid to look after. And we'll look after this one and him together. I mean, they are half-siblings, they should know where they come from."

Casey shook her head. "I know you're trying to get me to launch at you like my husband did but it's not gonna work on me."

Cat saw no way of getting to Casey and that began to infuriate her. Casey could see it from a mile away. Cat had tried everything to get her to react harshly to Spencer around Cat, getting on her nerves, sitting on his lap every chance she'd get. But what Cat didn't know was that Casey compartmentalized well and she wasn't about to have this woman take her down with just a blink of an eye.

Casey began to laugh as she sat back in the chair and scoffed. "I see what this is." She said as she crossed her arms.

Cat furrowed her brows. "What?"

"You know, I have come across a ton of mean girls in my life. I know jealousy when I see it." Casey told and for a moment, Cat let her face fall before she began to chuckle. "Jealousy?" She said almost shockingly as she sat back in her chair. "Please."

Casey tsked and shook her head. "Oh, I think you are. You're jealous of what me and Spencer have. Because you can't have him for yourself and you think that if you keep making little comments about him, touching him, kidnapping our son, I'll snap."

Casey sat forward in front of Cat and shook her head again. "You think I'm jealous of you?" Casey scoffed. "You are the last person I would ever be jealous of. I mean, sweetie, you're just a pawn in a chess game."

Cat clenched her jaw and Casey saw that she did and chuckled, "Oh, is that... envy on your face? Are you angry at the fact that you don't get to take him home? That-That I can?" Casey wonders aloud in a feigned shock.

"That I can just take what's mine? Because he practically does belong to me. In fact, I told him every night before he got arrested." Casey told. "He does whatever I tell him to. Because he's mine. And that makes you angry." Cat's face was filled with rage but the woman tried her best not to show it.

"Because while he's on my skin and giving me what I want, you're rotting in here." Cat didn't say a word as Casey finished. "What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" Casey scoffed and stood up from the chair, going to walk out but before she could, she faced back to Cat. "Oh and Cat, I really do feel for you. But... frankly, I just don't care."

With that, Casey walked out, leaving Cat to bottle up her anger. To Cat, this wasn't over. The Cat VS. Casey brawl. Oh, she'd get back to her eventually. Right now, it was about getting at Spencer and but later on down the road, that Casey Willows would never see it coming.

━━━━━━

After that, Casey had decided to go and check on Spencer. JJ had told her the news regarding Lindsey and the fact that they were still assuming Diana and Chris were alive.

Casey had walked towards the building and found Spencer on the ground, his knees pulled up to his chest and looking like he was thinking to himself. "Hey," Casey spoke. "JJ told me that the Richmond County police just reported a gas station explosion. One victim, a male. Whatever Lindsey did, we have to assume your mom and Chris are still alive." Casey told and Spencer nodded, still looking down in his lap.

Casey had seated herself next to Spencer, pulling her own knees up to her chest. Spencer doesn't look at his wife, he's more focused on his hands in his lap. "I'm really scared this is who I am now." He admits.

"Spencer, don't say that." Casey told.
"Casey, you don't know—"
"I do know," Casey interrupted him. "I know two inmates, killed your friend, Delgado in front of you. And I know they wanted you to move their heroin, and I also know that if you didn't, you would have been next, right?"

Spencer stiffens in his spot. "Spence, anyone in your spot would have done the same thing."
"You wouldn't have." Spencer told.
"Well, then, you would've been wrong. Because I would have, Spencer. If someone was threatening my life, in prison, you bet your ass I would. It doesn't make you a bad person." Casey admitted.

"'Cause you know who does think like that, that... that what you had to do to survive somehow makes you a psychopath? That being in prison is all games and fun? She does." Casey looks towards the interrogation room and then comes to the realization and once she looks at her husband, she realizes that he has, too.

"She does," Casey repeats. "She does because she... she knows." She tells. "That's the secret." Spencer stated, standing up and Casey followed behind him. "What I don't want to admit about myself."

"Hold on. Let's just play this out, retrack. Because she will not lose to you twice. She already said that this wasn't about the two of you being the same. Then she's all about the game." Casey explains.

"She thinks that I cheated last time because I lied about her dad, so it's integral to her that she beats me by following the rules." Spencer tells. "Yeah, but, Spence, she controls the rules, and she will change them to ensure that she wins." Casey told.

"Which means that I'm locked in. Like she is. And she needs me locked in, playing by her rules a game I can't win, so she..." Spencer stops himself and that's when Casey realizes he has an idea. "I got it."

━━━━━━

After that, Spencer decided to go in the interrogation room and Casey rejoined JJ and quickly debriefed what she and Spencer discovered together. As soon as he entered the room, Cat spoke. "Guess that's one way to get you to put your hands on me. And another thing, you'd ought to get a muzzle on that wife of yours. Then again, I can see why you went for her. Total opposite of yourself, right?"

"Dance with me." Spencer said and Cat looked up at him, wondering if this was a trap. "Why?"
"Because I don't want the people watching us to hear what I'm going to say next." Spencer tells and Casey watches as Spencer holds a hand out to Cat.

JJ had called the team and looked at the screen next to her and kept it on speakerphone so Casey could hear. "You guys got this up?" JJ asked. "Streaming now." Garcia told.

"Okay, uh, listen, you're gonna hear a lot of weird stuff, like Spence saying he is the father of Cat's baby. Don't let that distract you." JJ said.
"Uh, I'm sorry. Full stop. Why would Spence say he's the father of—?" Garcia questioned, to which Emily responded with, "Quiet."

"You had eyes on me while I was in prison, didn't you?" Spencer wondered. "Spencie, don't ruin the moment." Cat said. "I don't want to, but I'm on the clock. Answer my question. Am I right?" Cat buried her head in between Spencer's head and shoulder. "Yes, you're right. I wanted to make sure things were just as uncomfortable for you as they were for me."

"That's what we missed, the inside man that's been helping them." Luke spoke. "He didn't just work at Cat's prison, he worked at hers and Reid's." Rossi concluded. "Garcia, look for any overlap." Emily told. "Compiling now." Garcia says. "Here's something. Lionel Wilkins. He worked at both Mount Pleasant and the Millburn Correctional Facility."

"Okay, look, this guy could have gotten her pregnant, but there's no way he could have gotten his hand on Reid's file." Tara tells. "Well, not directly," Stephen said. "He could have called in a favor from a friend at the Bureau."

"So someone must have wanted to screw us this whole time." Luke told. "Someone who's not gonna work for the Bureau much longer." Emily added.

"That's how you timed everything so perfectly." Spencer continued his conversation with Cat. "Like sending my mom and Lindsey to visit me when I thought I was at my lowest."
"Thought?" Cat asked. "You sure you weren't?"
"No, I wasn't. Because I didn't feel bad. I felt scared. At how much I enjoyed poisoning the other prisoners. I had a hundred ways of getting myself out of that situation, and I picked the one that would cause them the most pain." Spencer told. In all honesty, Casey thought it sounded very convincingly. Too convincing for her liking. That scared her.

"Well, look at that." Cat smirked. "You might end up saving your mother's life after all."

Garcia had found a cabin for a location where Lindsey may have been keeping Diana and Chris and JJ had decided to join them but not before asking Casey if she was fine with it. Casey assured to her that they were and she continued to watch as Spencer continued his conversation with Cat. They had stopped dancing at this point and Cat had told Spencer the team was walking into a trap, which they'd already gathered that much. Cat told Spencer that the only way out of the trap is if he gave her his phone and guess.

"When we first down, you said you were gonna show me what kind of man I am. And you have." Cat touched the buttons on his cell. "Every time I touch this, you're getting warmer." Cat stated. "At first I was furious, because the secret had to be the baby inside you. How could it be anything else? But then I realized that somehow, you knew I liked hurting those men. Now I know it's both things."

"So which is it, Spence? Come on. Don't fumble it now. You're at the one-yard line." Cat told.

"You're not pregnant with my child," Spencer stated. "You got pregnant with Wilkins to put me in as compromised a position as possible. But it should be mine. I wish it were mine. Because you and I... we deserve each other." Casey hears as the words sound like bile to Spencer. "That is the real secret."

Cat presses the final button as tears fill her eyes and she speaks, "Kill them." There's a long pause and Cat stands up. "Lindsey, I said..."

"You bitch." Is heard on the other side of the line. "You're pregnant?"

Cat looks towards the cameras and Casey smirks once she makes eye contact with the glass, unbeknownst to Casey whispering to herself, "Gotcha." on the other side.

"Lindsey, sweetheart, it's complicated, okay?" Lindsey speaks up, "No, it's not." Emily's voice is heard on the other side. "Playing the game with Reid was more important than being faithful to you. And if you do this, she wins. Don't let her win."

Casey heard as Lindsey gives up and Emily informs Casey that they've arrested her. Casey walks into the interrogation room. "We're clear." Spencer takes the cell phone out of Cat's hand before approaching his wife. "Are my mom and Chris okay?" Spencer asks. "Yeah, they're both okay." Casey nods.

"We do deserve each other, by the way." Cat told as she sat down. "You guessed right. No matter what that wife of yours says to you, we do."
"You lied, by the way." Spencer told, choosing to ignore the comment about his wife. "You were going to kill my mother and son regardless."

"Yeah, I think you really liked hurting those men." Cat told. "And once you cross that line, you can't ever go back." Spencer kneels in front of Cat, retrieving his watch from her hands and he looks up at her and whispers, "Watch me."

Before they can walk out of the room, Casey stops both her and Spencer and places a hand on his chest and reaches on her tippy-toes to kiss him on the lips. It was the first time she had since he'd been locked up. And she'd done so in front of Cat.

Cat watched the two in disgust and clenched her jaw and Casey pulled back from the kiss. "Yeah. Still mine." Casey comments, mostly targeting that to Cat and they both walk out of the room, leaving Cat behind for good and hopefully, forever.

━━━━━━

Spencer and Casey landed back at Quantico and were currently in the elevator, waiting to reunite with their loved ones. As they waited for the elevator to get to their floor, Casey looked over at her husband and grabbed his hand.

The two smiled contently at one another, happy it was all finally over. They had one another again. And even as they'd smiled to one another on the outside, there was still a lot they needed to talk about. But that could wait, right now, each other was what they needed.

Casey leaned a bit closer to her husband and took a deep breath of his scent and cologne on his clothes. The elevator doors finally opened and the first people they had seen had been their team - minus Tara and JJ with Spencer's mother standing with them.

Spencer and Casey exited the elevator as Spencer looked at his mother carefully. Emily leans towards Diana and tells her, "Spencer's here."

Diana looks carefully at her son and then approaches his, clasping her hands over her face before reaching to him for a large hug. Casey smiles and her eyes fill with tears at the scene between her husband and mother-in-law, between mother and son. "Hi, Mom." Spencer tells, not wanting to let his mother go at all.

Diana then pulls away and cups her son's face and looks at him carefully again. "Don't leave me, ever again." Spencer nods to his mother, "I won't." Diana grabs her son in a hug again and Casey looks at Emily. "Where's Chris?" She asks, not wanting to interrupt the interaction.

"He's with Tara and JJ. They took him over to your desk." Casey nods, heading inside the bullpen and to her relief, Chris is over at Casey's desk, drawing on some scratch paper, explaining the solar system to Tara, his knees on Casey's twirly chair, spinning it around carefully.

Tara and JJ had been entertaining Chris and JJ looked up and saw Casey standing there, waiting to see her son. JJ leans down towards Chris and looks at Casey. "Look who's here to see you." JJ tells.

As soon as Chris spots his mother, his eyes light up like stars. "Mom!" He jumps out of the chair and rushes over to his mother and hugs her. "Hey!" Casey holds onto her son for dear life and smiles to herself in relief as she has finally gotten her son back. Casey caressed his chocolate locks and covered his temple with kisses. "Are you okay?" She whispered in his ear.

"Yeah," Chris said and pulled away from his mom and looked at her in the eye. "I knew you'd get her, Mom. I knew you would." Casey pulls him back in for a hug and JJ and Tara watch as mother and son reunite.

Casey looks at Chris. "I have a surprise for you." She lifts him up in her arms and JJ and Tara decided to join as Casey walked out of the the bullpen. Everyone had separated away, letting Spencer be the object that would attract Chris's attention. And as soon as he saw his father, his eyes lit up just as they had for Casey.

Chris looked at his mother and he practically jumped out of her arms to run over to his dad. "Dad!" Spencer knelt to his level as he saw him run over to him and Spencer had held onto his son for dear life. Casey swore she had seen happy tears form in his eyes because waterworks were coming from hers.

Spencer had done like Casey did and kissed his son's temples over and over. Spencer stood up with his son in his arms and Casey rejoined her family, looking at her two boys with doting love as well as her mother-in-law. All thankful to have gotten Spencer back.

"Let's go home." Casey tells as the Reid-Willows family head into the elevator.
