Narrators Pov

It was 6:23 pm. The greatest performer of all time, Michael Jackson had just finished a concert and retired to his hotel room in Washington DC. He was tired, yes, but he couldn't sleep.

He heard the endless chanting from the outside of his hotel, cheering his name.

"Michael! I love you Michael!" He looked to his fans down below.

Michael had a deep love for his fans, but he never understood one thing.

"How can all these people love me, yet I feel like the loneliest person in the world?"

He sighed. He waved towards his fans and drew the curtains towards each other.

He slowly walked towards his closet, looking for his infamous fedora, as well as his jacket.

"I need some fresh air." He muttered. "And maybe some coffee."

With his bodyguards outside, Randell and Ernesto. They walked through the back of the hotel and went in the limo.

-

While driving, they saw a little coffee shop called "Rene's cup o' joe" and pulled over.

Michael had been in many instances like this, although he feared getting discovered and bombarded with fans, he didn't care at this particular moment.

Both Randell and Ernesto escorted Michael inside the coffee shop to see there were only 5 customers in the whole shop.

As Michael stood in line, while his bodyguards stood to the side, he heard the door chime indicating someone had just walked in.

He looked to his left, over the shoulder. He immediately took a double-take of the view in front of his eyes.

At the door stood a brown skin beauty, with shoulder length hair. She was in a black pencil skirt along with a gray blouse, with black high heels.

Michael admired her.. deeply.

Mostly, he saw girls that had no respect for themselves, they would dress loosely and that made him feel sad that they couldn't see their worth.

Her potent red lipstick adorned her perfectly crafted lips, made by God himself.

"My god." He whispered.

She walked over in line, right behind him.

At this point, Michael couldn't breathe.

She had this effect on him and they haven't even exchanged any words.

"Cmon Michael." He thought. "Make a move. Make. A. Move."

He turned around slowly to the side and acted as if he was peering out the window.

When he finally mustered up the courage, he turned towards her, looked her straight in the eye and asked her a question.

"Excuse me miss, would you happen to have the time."

She looked at him back and nodded

"Yeah uhm.. its... 6:49, at this time, I'll be up all night." She joked.

He smiled big.

He had never come across a person who didn't fangirl over him.

He liked it. He liked it a lot.

"My name is Michael, Jackson ." He blurted. He extended his hand for her to shake.

She smiled. "I know who you are. My name is Amiyah, Amiyah Argento."

"Amiyah Argento" he thought. "What a beautiful name to go along with that beautiful face."

"So uhh, what are you doing at a coffee shop so late?" He asked.

As the line got smaller, both moved up.

"Well, I'm a secretary at a law firm, and my boss wants me to cross reference some files so.. guess I'm pulling an all nighter tonight!"

He couldn't stop smiling.

He couldn't stop smiling due to that he was having a normal conversation with a normal lady.

It was finally his turn at the cashier.

"May I have a large cup of coffee, no milk, no sugar." The man behind the counter took his order and started fanning over Michael. He took a picture with the young man, before the young man placed in his order, he stopped him.

"This will cover the order of the lady behind me." He handed the cashier a $50 dollar bill and moved to the side.

2 minutes later, Michael got his coffee and waited outside on the far left of the restaurant.

He wanted to see Amiyah again.

5 minutes later, Amiyah practically jogged out the shop, looking both ways before laying her eyes on Michael.

She sprinted quickly in her heels towards him. She stood in front of him, as she was catching his breath.

"Thank you." She breathed out. Michael smiled at her so dearly. The way she seemed to put her self together amazed him.

"It's no problem, really." He assured. There was a small moment of silence but Michael soon broke it.

"So are you going home now?"

She nodded. "The sooner I'm done, the better."

Michael dreaded the moment he would part with her. For a moment, he wasn't so lonely.

She waved. "Thank you Michael." As she was walking off, hair blowing in the wind, Michael called her.

"Wait!" She turned back around and stood still.

He walked over to her quite nervously, he was trembling.

"Is it possible that we can stay in touch? I would really hate to lose contact with you." He whispered.

She giggled lightly and nodded. She took his phone and typed her phone number as well as her email into his phone.

She pecked his cheek lightly and smiled, leaving him there on cloud 9.
