Luckie

Toya and I were currently chilling in the house watching tv with Rel in between us. Things between us have been pretty good and I prayed it stayed that way. Since we were good I wanted to gauge how she felt about me starting back with my music. I haven't been in the studio in months, let alone on tour.

Not that we need the money but I needed to get back out there to make more of it so that we can continue to live the lifestyle that we do. "Baby can I ask you something?" I asked her.

"Mhm, What is it bae?"

"How would you feel if I started back going to the studio and out on tour?" I asked hesitantly.

"Nah I don't mind" she shrugged. "I trust you"

"Seriously?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yes Isaiah. You've proven to me over the months that this" she pointed to her and Israel; "is what you want. I trust that you won't jeopardize our family"

I exhaled; "I'm so happy to hear that. You're right, I'll never put myself in the position to lose my family again." I leaned over to kiss her.

"Aahhh" Rel yelled as he tried to hit my face. 

"Boy hush, this my girl" I chuckled.

Toya picked him up and sat him in her lap. I snapped a quick picture of them. "Y'all so good looking, God blessed me with a sexy ass family"

"When do you plan on going back on the road?" She asked as she kissed his cheeks. 

"Not anytime soon because Tango finna have the twins, ion wanna take him away from his family. I just need to get back in the studio to make more music."

She nodded;  "Yes I'm cool with you getting back in the studio. I know you wanna make your money."

"Thank you for being understanding baby"

"No problem, what you wanna eat for dinner?"

"Surprise me" I shrugged.

She handed me Rel and made her way downstairs. I followed and decided to chill in the living room while she cooked dinner.

45 minutes later dinner was done and Toya was bringing me my plate. I sat Israel in his bouncer and went to wash my hands as she sat my plate on the coffee table for me. Once I got back into the living room I noticed that she made my favorite.

Fried Fish, Potato Salad, Collard Greens, and Corn Muffins. It didn't match but they were all my favorite foods so I loved that she took that into consideration. "I knew you loved me" I spoke.

She giggled; "Yes I do love you daddy"

"I love you more"

"Forever and ever?"

"Forever and ever!" I replied.

"Good" she smirked.

We ate and made conversation. After finishing eating I cleaned the kitchen while she fed the baby. Once I was done I stood to the side and watched her interact with him. I stared in admiration as I silently thanked God for placing her in my life.

I wouldn't want any other woman to birth my child. I know I messed up in the past, seeming as if I didn't appreciate what I had at home. That's far from the truth, I was more in love with her than words could describe. I'm young so I make mistakes, I was thinking with my dick instead of my head and heart.

Never again though, like I said before I had a son to be an example for. I had to show him what a man was, I didn't have that growing up so I was going to do the best I could.

Tango

I was currently in the grocery store getting groceries for the house. I was checking out when the lady started flirting with me; "I like your hair" she smiled

"Thanks" I nodded.

"You're really cute"

"Mhm, what's my total?" I asked as I started to get irritated.

"Your total is $150.75" she replied

I swiped my card and waited on my receipt. Once she handed it to me I grabbed the shopping cart and headed to my car. I pulled up to our home and pulled into the garage.

After I put the groceries up I headed upstairs to check on Juri. She was on bed rest ordered by the OB.

Currently she is 35 weeks, meaning she was due to be induced next week. At her last appointment the babies had grown pretty big causing the Dr Shaw to schedule her to go into labor early.

To say I was nervous was an understatement, one baby was one thing but two? Two was a plethora of things. God didn't make mistakes so I didn't question his motives.

I watched as Juri slept peacefully as she lightly snored. It was going on 8pm so I went into the bathroom to run her a bath. I turned the water on and let it start to fill, I added lavender bath salt, bubble bath, candles, and roses to the water.

Walking back into the room I went into the drawer and grabbed some multicolored leggings and a navy blue shirt for her to lounge around the house in. Placing the items in the bathroom I went to wake her.

"Baby" I spoke softly. She didn't move a bit.

"Baby get up, it's time for your bath and about time for you to eat."

"Hhmmm" she hummed.

"Come on mama."

"Okay Tayshaun" she groaned.

Once she opened her eyes I helped her sit up and get out of bed. We walked into the bathroom so that I could assist her with undressing then helped her step into the awaiting bath water.

"I'm gonna get dinner started, I'll be back to check on you" I stated as I kissed her forehead.

"Thank you baby"  she smiled.

"You're welcome" I nodded.

I headed downstairs to the kitchen to get started on dinner. I knew she been craving chicken lately so I took out the chicken breast and seasoned it. I cut up the potatoes and placed them into a bowl and tossed them in olive oil. Grabbing a roasting pan I evenly spread them out and seasoned them with salt, pepper, and rosemary.

I preheated the oven for 450F and set the timer for it to heat up. I finished prepping the spinach and broccoli into pots and cut the food on low. I walked back upstairs to check on Juri. "How you feeling?"

"I'm fine, I'm ready to shower and get dressed."

I nodded and helped her out and into the shower. I was back and forth between checking the food and checking on her until she was completely finished.

I oiled her skin for her and helped her into her clothes. Afterwards we went downstairs, she sat down and breathed deeply. I stood behind her and captured a picture of her belly.

About 30 minutes later I was completely done with dinner so I made her plate. I walked over to her and handed to her; I made spinach stuffed chicken breast, roasted potatoes, and steamed broccoli.

"Baby you made this?" She asked in admiration

"Yes I know you been craving chicken lately so I figured I'd make you some" I shrugged.

"Thank you, you're the best"

"Anything for you"

We sat and ate dinner, once we finished I cleaned the kitchen as she propped her feet up on the couch. Once I was done I joined her on the couch as we watched "The Wood"

This was our favorite movie to watch on chill days. Before long she was sound asleep as she laid in between my legs. I grabbed a blanket and covered our bodies. After a while I started to nod off as sleep overcame me.
