"SHUT. UP."
Robin shot up as a bang echoed from the bottom floor, followed by a few extra crashes and something that sounded a bit like a wailing rodent - whatever that sounded like.
A few mumbles emitted from around the room as the brunette stood up. He let out a loud yawn as he attempted to roll out the kinks in his shoulders. The whole place shook as the noises from below continued, and out of pure curiosity Robin made his way down the stairs.
"YOU TAKE THAT BACK, YOU DIRTY-" The screaming was interrupted by a shriek of pain, but continued every the same. "YOU'RE HEARTLESS, YOU KNOW THAT!? HEARTLESS."
Needless to say, Robin was awake now - and so was the rest of the house. When he reached the last step, he finally realized what was happening.
Sinda had her large hands wrapped around Ronan's neck and she was pressing him up against the wall. The light haired male's face was bright red, and yet he had a nasty smirk plastered across it. His glasses sat next to Sinda's feet with frames that were bent out of shape and lenses that were in pieces.
"I do- n't see wh- at the big deal is," Ronan managed to wheeze out. "H- he was just a fair-"
Robin heard something crack, and to say he was scared would be an understatement. He merely watched as Ronan's face turned into that of pain and he clawed at Sinda's hand for breath.
"YOU'RE A PITIFUL MAN, INSULTING THE DEAD. YOU CALL YOURSELF MIGHTY?" Her expression was contorted into an ugly rage. The scales strewn across her body glistened with a reflection of supernatural anger. "WHY DID THEY EVER LET YOU LIVE!?'
Ronan's eyes widened even further than they already had. His hand reached for Sinda's arm and he grasped it tightly. In a fit of fury, Ronan pressed his palm as a soft blue color flickered at his fingertips. He kept forcing his hand into the flesh of her arm until there was a crackle and yet another, shrill screech of pain.
Sinda was thrown back, clutching her arm, but before Ronan could advance further, Kima and Lamia were there there to restrain him.
Robin didn't notice at first, but Nikolai and Yoshii had joined him in watching the event play out. He looked over at the two and they looked back with an over abundance of wariness.
"He must've been talking about..." Yoshii trailed off, rubbing at the nape of his neck as he sent a quick gaze over to his pink-haired friend. Robin nodded in agreement without saying a word and turned back to Ronan and the Dragon Riders.
Kima's foot was pressed down on Ronan's back, whom was sprawled out on the floor with the same exact colored light flickering violently around his hands. Lamia, on the other hand, had Sinda in a rather violent-looking headlock. The red-head was flailing around, indignantly assuring them that 'The imbecile deserved what he got!'
Robin strained to hear what Lamia was partially-whispering into Sinda's ears, but he only caught bits and pieces.
"We owe him our lives," she spoke with a soft tone that the human boy didn't even think she knew how to use. "Please just calm down."
"Adelram owed him nothing!" Sinda wailed loudly, wrapping her hands around Lamia's arm. "And he still has the audacity to insult him!"
Ronan retorted with something most likely witty, but it was muffled by the wooden floor of his home.
Robin finally shifted his vision back over to Yoshii and Nikolai, who were silently speaking of something that Robin didn't have the heart to make out. He saw a glimmer of tears in the smaller fairy's eyes, but decided that Yoshii had a better handle on it than he would.
Hearing the footsteps of what would definitely be Ronnie, Robin once again turned his body to face the male. He sent him a small smile, and silently agreed to himself not to bring up anything about the night before last unless his friend confronted him first.
"What's all the noise abou- oh." Ronnie raised an eyebrow at the sight before him and opened his mouth to question, yet shook his head instead. "I don't necessarily think I really want to know. It's too early for all this."
Robin was glad to see his friend back to - what seemed to be - normal. The entire day yesterday, he had refused to make conversation with any of the others.
"Some insults were thrown and some...people aren't the happiest campers," Robin told him with an awkward shrug.
"Right..."
Robin heard Kima let out a loud 'woah' and then another resounding bang. Practically flying around, he saw Kima sprawled out on the floor and a more than furious Ronan standing there.
"I am done with you all!" the magician yelled, stress lacing his words. "I welcome you into my home, I feed you, and this is what you have to repay me with!" His neck was a crimson red, little places here and there blackened with bruises. "Take your things and leave - I was wrong about you! So wrong!" He stalked over to Sinda, who was still in Lamia's hold. "And you," he seethed, pointing a shaking finger at her, "you will never speak of my trials as you did. You know very well that this country would be gone without me!"
Sinda snapped her teeth at him, a rather feral action for even her. "Keep telling yourself that, you inconsiderate barbarian!"
"GET OUT! ALL OF YOU - AND DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT COMING BACK! I'VE DONE MY PART."
And with that, he slipped away into the cover of his workshop.

Dear Adelram,
It's only been a few days - maybe a week, I'm not really sure anymore.
Sinda cries. You'd never be able to tell because she hides it so well. I'm not surprised.
I'm not the best at writing and you know that all too well. Remember when we were young and I tried to write a story about humans? The teacher just laughed. I cried for hours and you just sat with me until I was done. I think that was the moment when I realized I was in love with you - or something along those lines.
I vividly remember the next day when I told you. You just laughed and told me I was too emotional.
And do you remember when you met Sinda for the first time? I was so jealous. You were really devoted. I thought you'd replace me with her, but you didn't. You told me you were just doing your job.
And then you kissed me.
Thinking back on it, the situation was super funny - the way you told me you accepted my feelings and yet never spoke a word.
I try not to cry sometimes. I've been doing alright...as alright as I can when they love of my life is dead.
You always hated when I said that...when I called you the love of my life. To this day I don't know whether you were embarrassed or had some weirdly biased feeling about love.
I don't think it was the latter. It was always easy to embarrass you, anyway.
We're still searching for the human boy. I know, it's been a long time, but there's so many placed he could be. If you were here, you'd probably say something about how we were procrastinating too much and we should just get on with it.
The oldest human boy lost his arm. I think he's okay...he seems like it. His emotions are all over the place but I guess that happens when your little brother is taken by a great evil...
We're heading off now. We got kicked out...
Surprising, I know.
I love you.
