"What the heck!?"
Robin watched with amusement as Ronnie let out a small cry of terror, trying desperately to tug the small fairy out of his hair. A small 'ouch!' could be heard as he did so, his face turning into that of relief as the tiny creature separated from his head.
"What was that-" the fairy stopped speaking at once, looking around at the humans before him. Robin witnessed the brown haired male's eyes widened and his eyebrows furrow. He looked at Ronnie, and furrowed his brows. "You're not Kima."
Ronnie took in a breath, looking bewildered at the sight of a creature that was supposed to be mythical. "Alright, listen here, you little twit. I have no idea who this Kima character is, but I really don't appreciate you pulling on my hair like that. So next time, if there even is one, I'd like to ask that you would refrain from doing it again."
Robin let out a snort of laughter at his words, along with Eriol whom was silently giggling. Ronnie had crossed his arms during his little 'speech,' and was looking the slightest bit furious. The fairy had backed up as it was happening, soon holding his hands up in front of his tiny body.
"Mister, I'm really sorry," he squeaked out, wings fluttering faster than before.
"I wou-" Ronnie was abruptly cut off from responding to the boy by the sound of deep pounding footsteps. All the males looked towards the direction in the forest from which it was coming from, all waiting in anticipation.
Eriol had scooted closer to Robin, lightly attempting to hold his hand. Robin had taken it in his, narrowing his eyes at the source. The sound stopped for a short while, soon starting up again as the bushes in front of them rustled.
Out came a rather tall female with long golden tresses and heavy looking metal armor with a dragon-like insignia over the heart. A belt of weapons adorned her hips, as well as a pair of long brown leather boots. Her face was contorted into that of anger as she spotted the small fairy near the three humans.
"YOSHII!" she called out, heading straight for the fairy. He let out a small squeak fluttering around behind Ronnie. Said male scooted to the side, letting the boy become visible once again.
"I'msorryKimaIreallydidn'tmeantotouchherhornsIknowshedoesn'tlikeititwasanaccidentIswear!" he rushed, clenching his small fists as his eyes shut tightly.
The female, whom Robin deduced was called Kima (like it wasn't obvious), stopped at the words, letting out a sigh of annoyance. She pinched the bridge of her nose slightly, allowing her hair to fall over her eyes. Robin's mouth gaped open at the sight of the seemingly normal female's ears. They looked as if they were webbed, yet not like one would imagine a fish. They twitched as she made different faces, which left Robin feeling completely bewildered.
"It's fine Yoshii, just make sure it doesn't happen again. You have no idea how hard it was to get her to calm down. She nearly trampled the Fey-Nest."
The fairy, Yoshii, nodded rapidly, pressing his hands together as he bowed continuously. "Tell Anumik that I'm really sorry."
"Why can't you do it yourself?" the female asked, ignoring the three humans around her small friend.
"Um, well, my Momma - I mean, Mother, sort of wanted me home for supper tonight and I don't wanna let her down."
"What happened to 'not being a Momma's boy'?" The blonde smirked, finally looking around at the three humans before her.
"Th-that's not wh-"
"You three, you are humans, am I correct?" she interrupted, giving the three males a hard stare.
"Um, y-yes," Ronnie answered for the three of them, involuntarily stuttering at her sudden change of attitude.
"Why are you here? How did you get here?" Kima asked, placing her hands on the hilt of her sword.
"We don't know!" Eriol cried, throwing his hands up into the air in a frustrated manner.
Kima didn't seem to believe the sixth grader's words, beckoning the three of them forward skeptically. "I'll not trust your word."
Robin's stared at the female before him, processing what she had just said. 'Did she just quote a Shakespeare line, or is this just a coincidence?'
Ronnie was the first to comply with the female's wishes, stepping up slowly towards her. "What do you want from us?" he asked quietly.
"I don't believe that you do not know why you are here," she muttered, quickly tying a rope around the unsuspecting Ronnie's wrists, "I'm going to take you up to Hippolyta. She'll know what to do with you three pieces of scum."
Robin began to protest as she tied the ropes around his and Eriol's wrists at an almost inhuman speed. He looked at the shocked Yoshii, who was just fluttering around behind them.
"Um, Kima, I really don't think that this is all-"
"Close your mouth, Yoshii. Don't you have a dinner to be getting to?"
