Sumaan os - Are we done ?

This was 5th time director has caught them not moving away from each other after him shouting a 'cut'.

" Aryan , imlie .... It's a cut "

They snapped out of the intense shot and left each other's arms to move away to their respective places.

They were behaving weirdly since many days and now a days the scenes between them written by the makers of the show started affecting them after the night shoot scenes.

At first, the director thought it was due to no proper sleep and food as they were shooting for hours at day and night shifts , but even after 2 weeks of shooting confession scenes they seem to be off while shooting scenes.

The khan duo, who switched between action and cut with a buttery ease were now being lost somewhere during the scenes.

None could actually find them being off except the director. The conviction with which they perform was missing and only the director could see it, as he knew that there was something going on between them which was bothering them as individuals. The ever fighting, ever cheerful, joyful and easy going individuals were ignoring each other for 2 weeks now

Fammy seemed to be lost, more than sumbul so the director decided to talk to him first.

The director took him away to a side where no one was present. He asked no one to follow him and fammy, as they are out for a casual walk

He put his hand around fammy's shoulder and walked alongside him.

Atif sir : " fahmaan .... What's wrong with you and sumbul ? "

F : " kuch nai sir, aap aise kyun puch rahe hein ?"

A : " sachhi !?"

F : " haan sir!"

A : " toh fir tumhara on and off button ka switch kharab ho gaya kya? Ya fir short circuit ho gaya ?"

F : " huh !?"

A : " toh fir cut bolne ke baad bhi tum dono khoye khoye kyun lag rahe ho ? Kya tum donon ko cut sunayi nai de raha hein ? "

Fahmmy was shocked that they were being noticed by the captain himself.

F : " aisa ... kuch nai .. hein sir .... Bas vo intense scenes .... Hein .. na ... toh "

A : " achha .... isse pehle toh aur bhi zyada intense scenes theiy tumhare ... shaadi ke track ke pehle ke.... tab kuch nai hua kya ?"

F : " woh mein.... I mean hum....."

A : " kya baat hein fahmaan ...? Kya chal raha hei tumhare dil mein ?"
Fammy looked at him shocked again as this time captain asked him what's going on in his heart not brain as he would always ask what's on your mind

Atif sir understood fammy's shocked behaviour

A : " don't worry .... Set par kisi ko abhi tak tum dono ki weird behaviour ka bhanak nai hua hein so chill .... Aur vaise bhi mein ne sirf tumhe pucha hein pehle .... Sumbul ko pucha nai hein....."

F : " bilkul nai ...." he almost spoke in a loud shout scaring atif sir for a second.

I'm sorry "

A : " kyun ? "

F : " wo aapki baat katne ke liye...."

A : " mein ne pucha kyun na baat karun mein sumbul se ? Not that ki tumne sorry kyun bola?"

F : " sir, uss jungli se puchoge toh mera sar kha jayegi fir se .... Ab uss dinn hi bohot suna diya tha mujhe ki mujhe vaise nai karna chahiye tha ...."

A : " kya kiya ? Kis din ? Aur kya sunaya ?"

Fammy bit his tongue
Shit ! He shouldn't have let things out

F : " jaane do sir .... Hum aise hi ladte rehte hein ... aapko patah hein na ...." He tried to reason
A : " patah hein isi liye puch raha hun ki yum dono ki ladai aise achanak shaant kaise ho gayi ...."

F : " nai toh... "

A : " aaj kitne baar lade tum log ?"

F : " vo shoot tha na toh mauka nai mila ?"
A : " seriously fahmaan ? Mein jaanta hu ki tum dono ek dusre ko avoid kar rahe ho... so please "

Fammy knew he can't budge this forward.

F : " sir, avoid nai kar rahe hein .... Bas thake hue hein hectic schedule ke vaje se .... Aur aaj kal ke scenes bohot hi exhausting hein uske liye so usko pester karke aur tangg karna achha nai lagta sir.... She needs rest .... That's only reason "

A : " tum sumbul ko leke itna over protective kyun ban rahe ho ? Vo uska kaam hein, vo already kar chuki hein ye sab , and she knows what it takes to be an actor that too a lead of a show .... So ye bahane tum na do toh hi achha hein ...."

Fammy was silent.

A : " sumbul tumhare liye important ho gayi hein na fahmaan ?"

He just looked away.

" Bolo!"

F : " vo sir .... Aisa kuch nai hein.... "

A : " jhoot mat bolo fahmaan .... Tum dono ki aankhon mein aryan aur imlie ke emotion ke alawa bhi bohot kuch dikhne laga hein mujhe .... zyada toh nai par ye bata sakta hun ki tum dono ek dusre se affect hone lag gaye ho ... "

Fammy was silent again.

Atif sir was right. He was being effected by their closeness and scenes. After the scene where he, as aryan, will almost loose her to death, was the phase he actually did not just acted the scene. That day when he realised, he lived it not just acted he reasoned saying he was too much involved into the character. He ignored the feeling in coming scenes too but it didn't go away.

The day he dropped her home after all the kichad scenes, she served him coffee and he left to home. He went home, bathed, and slept off. When the call sheets were ready and set people called him to update about the shoot, he agreed to come back. The set people asked him to inform sumbul if possible as she wasn't lifting the call. He tried calling her but she didn't lift up. He decided to check on her once he is ready to leave for shoot. After an hour, he reached her place and asked watchman if she left. He was informed that she hadn't even called him to bring milk packets for her. Fammy was worried. He rushed to her apartment and found the door knob wasn't locked from inside. He turned open and went inside, only to be shocked to see her on the ground.

F : " sumbul .... Sumbul..... omg ! What happened to you ?"

He realised she had high fever and was unconscious due to fever.

He lift her up in his arms just as he would do when he is acting like aryan and placed her on the bed. He checked the temperature and was shocked to see 103 °F. He immediately called his family doctor and asked what to do. He did all the necessary things to make her temperature go down. He made her eat tablets, drink water, give sponge baths and took proper care of her.
He didn't lift up his phone calls as he was busy taking care of her. Also the set people didn't bother him much when he didn't lift call as they knew they both were very tired by the back to back day and night shoots.

F : " eyyy gadhi.... Uth ja ... bas hoagaya tera sona ... ab khana bhi toh hein....chal tu uth ja abhi...."

Sumbul opened her eyes with great difficulty and the first word she said was

S : " ABP?"
She was dazed due to temp but she was somehow in imlie's character coz she was been shooting since 2 days in a row.

F : " jungli .... Utho ...."

S : " please na ABP.... Sone do humka..."

F : " zyada so jayogi toh bukhaar kam nai hoga "

S : " hume bukhaar howi gawa ?"

F : " ha.... Now get up ...."

S : " uthao mujhe .... Nai ho pa raha ..."

Fammy literally lifted her up by pulling her arms and shoulders up. He made her rest on the bedrest behind while he made her drink the soup.

S : " bas na.... Aur na kha sakte hum.... Kitni kadwi hein..."

F : " natak band karo aur sirf thoda hi khao .... Bimaari mein muh kadwa hota hi hein ...."

S : " naiiiii naiiii naiii...."

F : " sumbul ...." He sounded strict

S : " nai "

F : " achha last two spoons "

S : " nai ..."

F : " mere liye .... Please "

S : " tum bohot bure ho akkad bagge"

F : " ik ik .... Chalo ab khao ..."

He made her drink the last two spoons of soup and gave her medicines. When he was about to leave, she held his had, pulled him on the bed, made him sit beside her.

S : " baitho"..

F : " arey mujhe ye rakh ke aana tha ..."

S : " baad mein...."

F : " par...."

S : " mein ne bola na baad mein ...."

F : " achha baba ab bol kya hua ?"

She slipped down onto the bed and put her head on his lap. He was shocked but was aware of this gesture as she likes to be pampered especially from him. She didn't speak a word but he kept caressing her hair and even he fell asleep.

The day just passed away with him taking care of her. When she was fine and doing well, they fought again. They kept their banters alive until the terrace shoot has come. When they were acted to entact the night scene on terrace, sumbul went into another zone while delivering the dialogues and while pulling his arms around her body.

She was in another zone and he liked enacting the scene with her as he was feeling so good about the scene and them.

When they hugged each other, they took a minute longer than actual written scene and immersed themselves in the hug.

That's when director had to say cut for 3 times to bring them back into reality.

Since then, he had been controlling not to fall out of focus from aryan but their hugs made him give into the feeling.

Fammy would often squeeze her into himself while she would get inside the hug like a kitten.

Fans would often comment a lot about their hugs and he would like them all.

Fammy knew he couldn't win this man in such things and decided to put it out.

F : " affect ho raha hun sir .... Jo ki achhi baat nai hein isi liye door rehne ki koshish kar raha hun aur uski stories ya fir posts pe bhi kuch nai kar raha hun taaki fans ko aur kuch na lage.... Bas thoda time deejiye I'll be out of it soon.... May be a holiday would bring me out of this.... "

Atif sir laughed out loud and fammy looked at him with a frown
A : " seriously fahman ? Tum kab se logon ke baare mein sochne lage ho yaar...."

F : " sir ?"

A : " achha ye bata tu kyun avoid kar raha hein usse ...? Kis baat ka darr hein ?"

F : " darr ? Arey sir mujhe koi dar nai hei ..... logon ka nai fans ka .... Yaar vo kisi ne fandom mein sumaan karke charche shuru kiya hein isi liye thoda gap diya hein mein ne .... Par vo dalti jaari hein bas...."

A : " kya tum iss baat se pareshaan ho ki log kya kahenge ki tum apne se 12 saal choti bachhi se pyaar karne lag gaye ho ....?"

Now this was the biggest bomb atif sir had ever blown on ground.

Fammy was shocked.

A : " bolo fahmaan "

F : " sir aap kuch zyada misunderstand kar gaye iss topic ko...."

A : " nai mein sahi bol raha hun .... Tum ispe parda daalne ki koshish kar rahe ho ...."

F : " sir mein ne kaha effect ho raha hun bas ..... thoda ignore karunga toh I'll be back ...that's it "

A : " tum kya khud ko teenager samjte ho ki ab infatuation hua toh divert karenge toh ho jayega ? You are 30 plus fahmaan .... Iss umar mein sachha pyaar milta hein.... Infatuation ya fir attraction nai .... Samjhe?"

F : " sir ?"

A : " bas kar .... Tumse toh sumbul hazaar guna better hein, tumse choti hein par samajdaar toh hein.... Kitni achhe se accept kar liya usne ... ek tum ho .... Budhhu kahinke ..."

Now atif sir bit his tongue on revealing sumbul's secret. She has sent him to know why was fammy avoiding her and in which state of mind was he in.

A : " kuch nai .."

F : " sir .... Sach sach batayiye.... "

A : " mein ne bola ki sumbul tumse better hein aise cheezon mein...."

F : " nai sir apne acceptance ki baat kahi hein...."

A : " yes she accepted that she loves you idiot and she is not guilty about it. You know what, she also said that you might be somewhere thinking about the age gap as it is not good for you to accept the feeling of himself towards a young girl like her..... you might be in a guilt to love such a young girl who just began her career as a lead."

Fammy was in deep thought when atif sir spoke

" Fahmaan .... Don't stress or suppress this feeling .... Let it go with the flow ...pehle date karo fir aage badho... if it is good continue if not you will continue as friends .... What's wrong ? Many celebrities in this itv does it....."

F : " sir .... That's the problem.... I don't want her to get hopes, get high on this bond and then we break coz not all can take seperation.... She is a fighter i know but she is too young for such things sir and also she needs to focus on career more. Her father had struggled a lot to get her on the platform where she is now blooming so let her be. This will only disturb her nothing more she will gain.... And what's wrong in continuing as friends... we still care for ecah other .... That's important. I don't want to ruin the bond by naming the relationship. So let's end this here "

He said looking at him.

Atif sir looked at him with pride in his eyes. He patted his shoulder and saw a figure behind his back standing rooted at a place

A : " ek baat bolun?"

F : " haan sir "

A : " sumbul bohot lucky hein "

F : " sir mein lucky hun ki vo meri dost hein aur costar bhi hein.... I'm lucky to have admired her, liked her, adored her or may be loved her too ..."

A : " so you admit it "

F : " sir i said may be "

A : " you never change " he said nodding

" Chalien ....? "

F : " sir aap chaliye mein thodi der mein aata hun"

A : " teekh hein "

Saying so he left the place walking away from his back whereas fammy was watching the lake area at which the current shooting was going on.

As atif sir walked away from him, he went near to that person and stroked the hair gently

A : " vo bohot pyaar karta hein tumse aur usse bhi zyaada tumhari kaam ki bohot izzat karta hei..... don't miss him sumbul "

Yes it was sumbul who heard him say things about them and was almost in tears.

S : " kaise kar leta hein ye .... Itna pyar ?"

A : " shayad aryan ki atma ghus gayi ho ?"

S : " shayad " and they both chuckled looking at his back which was facing them.

A : " par tumhare ABP ko abhi bhi doubt hein apne pyaar pe "

S : " uski jungli hein na teekh karne ko .... kya mujhe das minute akele uske saath time milega bhau ?"

A : " ja simran ja ... jee le apni zindagi...." He said winking at her and left the place.

S : " mein aa rahi hun raj "

And she ran towards him only to crash him into a tight hug from behind.

Fammy had a little heart attack from her gesture but later relaxed in her touch

F : " ye kya junglipan hein sumbul.... Darate kyun ho yaar tum aise ..."

She kissed his back and said,

S : " i love you fammy ....."

He froze

And she kissed him on his back again

S : " aur tum mujhe poore zindagi ke liye chahiye .... Mein wait kar lungi jab tak tum khud nai maan lete ki tum bhi mujhse pyaar karte ho ..... I'll wait for you ... will always do....."

She left him and started walking away when he held her wrist, grabbed her arm and engulfed her into a hug. She knew he was happy as he kissed her hair at the top. He didn't speak a word but sumbul understood everything.

He loved her, is in love with her and will always love her for whatever reason it may be.

They were called back for the scene to shoot and it was orphanage scene.

They were still in the costumes of aryan and imlie but in this particular scene, fammy gave her the warmest hug ever promising her, his love and sumbul smiled into the hug as she felt his warmth of love through that hug

They decided to live their love lives in the form of aryan and imlie...... sumaan as arylie 😍❤️
