Os - An overwhelming surprise !

After her morale went down by a harsh conversation with mother-in-law, she sat on the bed folding her clothes lost in another world. A knock on the door brought back her senses. She saw Arpita didi standing with a huge bag at her doorstep.

I : " didi.... Please come "

Ar : " got something for you ....."

I : " for me ?"

Ar : " yes .... Someone left this at our entrance for you "

I : " really ? Who is that ?"

Ar : " I don't know.... Seems something big is wrapped in for you .... I have to go with sunder ji to his work place today so got to rush .... Bye imlie "

Saying so she left the place in hurry.

I : " bye didi "

She opened to see a beautiful saree, bangles, earrings and a ring for her. Her face changed it's expressions on looking at them. She had got a note with it and when she read it, she kind of blushed looking at it.

It read,

" Care to spare an hour for your husband ?"

If yes, please honour us with your presence at your doorstep at 5 30 pm.

An absolutely instant smile crept on her lips

She looked at the note twice to check if it true. She was surprised, not because he sent it to her but because she never believed her fate to bring in a small piece of happiness too, for it had been always cruel.

She looked at the idol saying,

" Sita maiyya, sapne toh nai dikha rahe ho na ..... Kahe ki sapne tutne ki dard bohot seh chuke hein toh humka yakeen nai howat hein..... Sach maan le ya nai....."

[ Aren't you showing a dream again? Coz I ain't believing it as it is a ritual for me to see the crushing of dreams.... Hard to believe it]

" Par agar ye sach hein toh ..... Humein jeene do iss pal mein ..... Rehna hein .... Mehsoos karna hein ki khushi hoti kya hein ?"

[ If it is true .... Please let me live in this moment ... Stay in this ..... Feel it the way how a happiness is felt ]

Arpita gulped a soft cry looking at imlie talking to her sita maiyya..... She couldn't stop herself from recording the reaction of imlie after opening the gift wrap sent by her UNB to his wifey.

Her hands still on the phone recording it, were slightly shaking in fear, looking at the small girl who faced all troubles thrown to her by life with courage.

Like her, Imlie deserved happiness, care, support and most importantly an unwavering love of a partner which her UNB was ready to provide. She couldn't stop her tears from rolling down looking at how vulnerable imlie was infront of her sita maiyya. How broken she was, begging her sita maiyya to let her be in this moment.

She even thought of her baby brother, who feared to accept his feelings, for he might loose her or worse,be snatched away by life if he accepts his love for his wife.

She still remembers, how aryan was shaking when she made him realise that he loved his jungli. Arpita saw her baby brother's eyes tear up for the first time in all these 5 years, after arvind's death.

When he collapsed to ground thinking of the situation of imlie being lifeless infront of him, just like his jeeju..... She couldn't see her baby brother looking so helpless

She grabbed his arm and said,

" Not all the times the history repeats aru ! "

And when her baby brother asked her with a cracking voice, arpita felt a churn in her stomach of how helpless her UNB was looking when he asked the question.

" What if my fate is dampened with bad luck didi ? ...... I can't..... I definitely can't afford to see her breathless infront of me ..... Definitely not ..... I am not ready to loose her to anybody, to any reason in this world didi..... Any damn reason....."

How cruel life has been with all 3 of them.

One had lost the partner; while one lost his friend, father figure, his jeeju, his best friend ; and one lost love which means everything in this world.

Aru being so emotional about imlie and not ready to accept his feelings was a sight arpita dreaded to look at......

She composed herself and said,

" If life had snatched someone, it also has rewarded us with someone else. Not to fill up the place previous one had, but to carve a new place which gives you enough strength to face the world together....... Give a chance to love and life aru!"

She made her brother think and what she saw the next day was her UNB being aru for the first time in 5 years.

She had tears in her eyes looking at him smile. She was even happy when he shared that he had planned to go on a date with imlie and confess his feelings to her.

She was more than happy to go with him to shop for imlie's date night. She was surprised how cutely he asked her to accompany him. Both brother and sister had gone out for shopping, for the first time in 5 years, after arvind's death.

She was only watching him keenly, when he was buying things for his wifey. She suggested him to choose on how those things would look on her and told him that she will stand beside him just for moral support, nothing else.

He shopped for 4 hours to buy them all.

He was so choosy person, arpita realised.

She suggested him to go and give them all by himself but aryan shied off saying he won't and can't. She laughed how aryan felt nervous, so she told him to leave a note.

When her baby brother made efforts to make everything possible, she so wanted to see and record how imlie reacts. So she went out of the room, hid behind the large window and secretly managed to record.

But imlie stunned her with her words.

All the while she was recording, she noticed imlie's prayers were answered as a strong wind blew from another window throwing the loose flowers on the deck of idol, straight into imlie's lap.

Her smile was all worth it when she found a flower in her lap.

Her prayer was answered.

Imlie squeeled in happiness.

Arpita smiled looking her so happy.

Imlie took the saree, went inside, changed herself and did all sorts of crazy things to get herself ready for the date.

Arpita sent the clipping to her UNB.

Even she prayed to sita maiyya to keep her UNB and his jungli happy like this.

Imlie was ready before time ( 5 pm )  and was strolling across the hall in utter restlessness.

Ar : " what happened imlie ?"

I : " didi look na .... Your brother is such a UNB.... He's so late ..."

Arpita looked at the clock and chuckled. It was just 5 pm and aryan said imlie to get ready by 5 30.

Ar : " yeah ! Such a UNB..... It's 5 now not 5 30 to make such a delay .... Right imlie ?".

Imlie realised what arpita said.

She stopped in her tracks and looked at the clock and then at arpita with a sheepish smile on her face.

Ar : " He'll be on time ... Don't worry !" She said cupping her face on it.

I : " didi ...."

Ar : " no problem ..... It happens,..... The butterflies before something first is always a good thing to feel about "

I : ".....uj....ammm..... Didi.... "

Ar : " hmmmm ....???"

I : " how am i looking ?"

Ar : " absolutely pretty just like a queen "

I : " queen ....? Isn't that too much?"

Ar : " why not ? Afterall, you are my brother's one and only queen of life "

Imlie blushed.

She didn't knew what to say.

Before, anyone could speak ..... They heard a familiar horn at mansion gate.

And a sudden storm of wind was felt by arpita beside her. She turned to her left to see that imlie wasn't there ...... She looked forward again and saw imlie sprinting her way to the gate ...... She chuckled at her restlessness. She stopped midway and waved back to arpita mouthing a bye.

Arpita waved back and turned around to see the clock .... It was 5 10 pm.

She laughed loud realising how impatient her brother was.

20 mins before !

God ! Both are such cuties ! She said nodding her head to and fro walking into the kitchen to grab a coffee for the evening.

The ride was silent as none spoke a word.

She was stealing glances from her corner of an eye and he felt her secret gazes.

His orange overcoat, his checkered tuxedo and his perfect fitting shirt was a sight for her to look at !

He had gelled up his hair to a side looking so different from his routine.

Damn ! He was hot ! 

His strong perfume lingering her senses to dive into a quick pleasure.

A slow yet soothing music was running since she entered the car and it was grabbing her attention in between when the music was at it peaks.

Even he was intimidated by her look when she stepped into the car. She looked breathtaking in that transparent designer red saree. He was proud that it actually looked beautiful more than what he imagined her to be.

Her bangles were dangling at times when she moved her hands in nervousness.

Her jasmine scented loose hair adorning her back and covering a part of the ear occassionally showing her earings was a sight for him to watch. He did it through his corner of eyes. Her side view often kept him distracted from his driving. He controlled.

Her perfume was thing to drown in for !

Aryan had hard time controlling his senses.

Man ! She was a beautiful distraction!

The car halted at a place and she was surprised to see a deserted forest area of the city outskirts.

They got down and looked at each other

A & I : " you looking beautiful/ handsome "

They looked in astonishment as they said it together.

A & I : " thank you ! "

A & I : " shall we ?"

A & I : " after you "

Now someone has to stop.

I : " where are we ?"

A : " on a date ! "

I : " i know but here ....? " She said looking around her surroundings.

A : " it's a surprise imlie "

Without giving a chance, he closed her eyes and whispered in her ears

A : " do you trust me ?"

His hot breaths halted her breath for a sec

I : " yes ... "

A : " then step forward "

And she did.

He was leading her by whispering instructions in her ears how to keep moving forward. She was walking confidently listening to him speak.

It was beautiful how a mere walk was justifying the word ' trust ' and ' belief ' just by the action of them moving in the jungle.

I - I trust him as he won't make me step in wrong place or direction

And

A- I lead her as i won't let her fall anywhere

The way they were moving, was a proof that they will be together in whatever place it may be - doesn't matter even if it is a forest!

Also the symbolic representation of a dried tree imlie was, to be now filled with greenary of his love, like the tree behind aryan made it a sight of true love.

They reached and the hapiness on her face lit up his heart

She had her brightest smile showing him how much she liked his surprise.

She squeeled and ran around looking at all the decorations. She climbed upstairs even before him saying anything.

Aryan was stunned but chuckled how jungli of a person she was!

An absolute child wrapped in an adult saree

Damn ! She is adorable

He kept looking at her and she after nice 10 mins realised he was still on the ground

I : " ABP! Why are you still there ? "

A : " so finally you realised you are here with someone "

I : " I'm sorry ! Please come up "

He climbed up and she halted him at the edge of the step.

I : " this .... This .... This is...... So....."

Imlie fell short of words.

Her eyes brimmed up with happy tears.

She was constantly looking into his eyes wanting very badly to thank him in words

But Alas! Her eyes betrayed her !

The tears were let down and they fell on his palms.... He frowned on feeling the tear drop and cupped her face immediately.

A : " why are you crying? You didn't like it ?

We can fix this ... I'll take you some where else ..... "

She nodded in no and immediately hugged him in a swift motion.

He had to step back due to her sudden move and held the edge of the wooden rod near the steps. She leaned into him crying, burying her face into his chest, wrapping her arms around him. He tried to balance himself and her on the edge of the step.

I : " I love you ABP..... I love you I love you I love you so much ..... You don't know how much this means to me .... No one has ever done this to me and made me feel so special about my existence.... You are all love man !"

Imlie didn't realise what she confessed.

But Aryan was stunned....

He didn't know what to say !

He was here to say the same thing but she said it before.....

Should he feel happy that she had feelings ?

Or

Should he feel sad that she told it first ?

Damn! Imlie always confused him !

Chuck this down !

He let himself feel happy and enjoy the moment where she was in his arms.

When he found out they were stable standing, he wrapped his hands around her and pressed herself closer to him feeling contended. He slowly lifted her up an inch from the ground, put her feet on his feet and moved away from the edge, walking small steps while she was still in his embrace.

When she calmed down, she felt his strong arms around her. She left him immediately and said sorry. She was moving to the table when she felt his hands on her belly

Her breath hitched on feeling his warmth of palm on her direct skin. He pulled her back into his chest and held his palm of another hand around her neck to reach her ears.

He held her from behind with his two arms

A : " why were you being sorry ?" He whispered in her ear

I : " I ... I..... I .... Was bit emotional on seeing this surprise.... So ... I overreacted..... "

A : " I guess that was a normal reaction"

I : " really ?"

A : " of course ! Infact there is something I need to answer to what you said "

I : " answer me !?"

A : " yeah ..... That I....."

I : " yeah you...?"

A : " I...."

I : " what?"

A : " I love you too jungli " he said kissing her other cheek which was near his lips.

Imlie was shocked to her him. Then she recalled him saying that this was an answer to what she said..... That means she confessed ?

Oh god ! She confessed and he confessed too

She felt like she was part of a dream

She, ain't no believing it to be real until his warm lips touched her cheek and the warmth of his hands on her other side of neck, belly increased a bit mimicking his intensity of love.

Feeling her not reacting he left her thinking he made her feel awkward. When she lost his warmth, she turned around to face him.

I : " you ain't joking about this one, right ?"

A : " why will I?"

I : " I feel I'm in a dream ABP "

Aryan then recalled arpita's words when she called him to watch the video she sent. After watching it, he called her back and she advised him with few words.

' she needs you aru ..... Just give her love and make her believe that life can be given a second chance to bloom ourselves up'

' You have shown her how a man can support, care for a woman now it's time you show how a man can love his woman '

' a woman loves to be heard when her man expresses but imlie is a woman who needs to be shown how a man loves his woman '

' show her how much you love her '

Aryan was looking at her eyes which were screaming him to show them the proof of his love ..... Asking him that it isn't just mere words but he means it, right ?

He took her hand placed on his shoulder, put his hand around her waist and pulled her closer to him.

A : " you are not in a dream .... This is reality..... Look at me imlie.... Look into my eyes ... Can you see any kind of truth in it?"

She looked up to see his eyes and face. She found him turning vulnerable.

I : " yes I can !"

A : " can you hear my heart beats ? Can you feel them beating faster under you skin ?"

I : " yes I can !"

A : " can you feel the warmth from my hands on your skin ?"

I : " yes I can ! "

A : " that's all I have to offer to you as my proof to the confession I made minutes ago "

Imlie was in tears.

I : " I believe you & trust you akkad bagge..."

Aryan took her face closer to him and asked

A : " may I?"

Imlie nodded and felt his lips on forehead.

While she felt his lips on her skin, her soul was washed with pure love of aryan.

She felt greedy

Before he could part away from her, she grabbed his neck with her tiny hands and sealed her lips with aryan's.

Aryan didn't expect it but he would lie if he say he wasn't tempted to kiss her on lips.

He thought he would take it slow.... Step by step ..... One step at a time.... But......

Who was he joking with ?

His jungli ?

Ah ! Definitely not !

She is one hell of a  crazy woman who drives him crazy every single time.

It is stupidity to not give in !

And they sealed the deal of being together for a lifetime !

Imlie : Qatron ki pyaas thi, saagar mujhe mil gaya .....

( I was thirsty for shreds , i found ocean )

She was thirsty for a little love and she found an ocean full of love from aryan .....

A : sooraj ke parten khuli, andhera chann gaayaaa.....

( the layers of sunlight opened diminishing the dark .....)

He was fighting with his inner darkness and she came into his life as sunshine to remove him from darkness.....
