Memories

The girl in front of Mini looked familiar.

Her dark hair was braided down her back. Her eyes were a chocolate brown and her skin was the colour of chestnuts. Her hands fiddled nervously with a lightning bolt bracelet but her facial expression was full of determination.

They locked eyes and a memory surged into Mini's head. It was her and the same girl, but they were both younger, about twelve, and the other girl was smiling at her.

"So, you're a protector, not a tattletale. Your... your like a knight!" The girl exclaimed. She was wearing some worn out spider man PJs and her face was covered in ash (un-hiengenic if you asked her), but she still seemed brave and strong and her words had an effect. Memory-Mini sat a little straighter.

"You... really think so?" She asked nervously, the ghost of a smile on her face.

"Of course, Sir Mini," the girl replied, grinning. Memory-Mini smile properly.

"Thanks, Aru," she said happily and bumped elbows with her.

...Aru... Mini thought, ... I know that name...

A thousand memories flashed through Mini's mind, each of them there, each of them belonging, but none of them accessible.
Mini opened her eyes. The girl - Aru - was watching her intently, brow furrowed.

"Mini?" Aru asked cautiously. She took a small step forward.

"Aru," she replied. Saying aloud seemed to make the other girl more - real. More solid. Aru's eyes lit up and she stepped forward again. Mini noticed she was standing in a puddle. She was about to warn her about water bourne diseases...

Then everything went black.

A/N Hello again! This is today's chapter, hope you liked it! Mini is probably the potato that I relate to the most so it's fun to write about her. Should I do a part 2?

Have a good day, byeee!
