Fuckn before yall say "bro its just water they can breathe" im gonna fuckn recite what i learned in bio so whatever.

Fish rely on dissolved oxygen content in the water to survive, thats why they have gills n shit. Anyways, this dissolved oxygen saturation is super fucking high in shallow water, theyr fine. However as u get deeper and deeper it starts to thin out.

So its kinda like the reverse of our atmosphere. U know, how mountain climbers need the breathing shit if they wanna climb mount everest or somethin, bc if they ascend too fast the altitude sickness can legit kill them bc they havent had the time to adjust. So yah, swim too deep too fast u can get hurt
