I've been watching to much of Kingdom hearts lately cause it gave me an idea of how the Unicron Heralds  would appear when they want to do surprise attacks and quickly disappear

Like that and good freaking primus it took forever to find one but that is their transportation despite them being lazy not using their alt modes if they don't have one like UT Necro

And Shadow states since he lives up to his name that going through the shadows is a lot faster than using your alt mode to get somewhere

Now headcannon {Maybe}

Despite being a former follower and still Unicron's daughter Amphorae still has the ability to walk in the shadows and she cant really get rid of it since she and Shadow are Unicron's offsprings but Amp does not use her shadow walk ability she prefers to use her alt mode but if she's in tight spot she will use her shadow walking ability even if she doesn't want to since she doesn't have a choice but she still hides her ability showing she doesn't follow the path of Unicron anymore

She may have tease Morphus with it while she still was on their side and probably when they first meet ^.^'
