He needed a job soon,

His money started getting over.

He went to a restaurant,

But when he saw a crowd,

He started to pant.

He couldn't handle crowds,

He couldn't meet their eyes.

He wanted to run, crawl to someplace and just hide.

The plates shook in his hands,

His legs started getting wobbly.

They all noticed something

They knew he was wrong,

And it didn't take them long.

To figure he was different,

Knew he had so many dents.

Knew he wasn't meant to be here.

The plates fell,

Shattered into a few pieces,

Each cracked piece echoing around the silent halls,

Heads turned,

Eyes wide, he ran out,

Blue eyes searching frantically for somewhere to run.

They fired him. But he didn't listen.

All he wanted to do was get away.

He came the next day,

They shook their head no.

He tried again and again.

Told them he was lost.

They responded no and kicked him out.

He saw people other than him get more than one chance.

And he wondered why he was born.
