Parker was soon on his way.

I just sat on the steps of my door staring at the floor. Something was wrong. Something was seriously wrong. I held the cracked glasses in my hands. Subconsciously I was gently tracing the rim of the glasses with my finger.

Suddenly I heard Parker shout, "Selena!" And I jerked out of my thoughts looking up to see Parker in my driveway on his bike. 

He ran over to me and hugged me, making me bury my head into his hands.

"What happened?" He asked.

"He's g-gone."

"Who?"

"Dad. H-he left a note, but I know something is w-wrong. Look." I shoved the cracked glasses into his hands.

"These are cracked."

"Yeah, I had no idea, Sherlock."

He stared at me. "What do you think..." He didn't finish that sentence on purpose.

"HE'S BEEN KIDNAPPED! FREAKING KIDNAPPED PARKER! WHY AREN'T YOU TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY?! HE'S MY DAD, AND, and..."

Before I knew it tears started forming in my eyes and Parker hugged me again. We stayed like that for a couple of minutes.

I wiped my tears away. "I have to find him."

Parker stared at me. "What do you mean? We have to call the police-"

"NO." I interrupted. I took a deep breath. "We have to find him. I know we can."

"Wait," Parker held up his hands. "what do you mean, we?"

"You're coming with me."

"Nooooo wayyyy I am no-"

"THIS IS MY DAD ARNOLDS. WE ARE FINDING HIM. PERIOD!"

After I let go of his collar he nodded vigorously. "I understand. I'll just tell my Mom it's a school trip or whatever." I nodded, staring at the sunset.

"Perfect."

A/N: So usually I would leave it like that- make it all mysterious, but I added an author's note. Lol. I RUINED IT! AHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!

Parker: Nothing, NOTHING!
