Happy With You. 4
Olivia pressed her lips one last time, the final touch for settling her lipstick. Ready in her white sheath dress with a matching set of jewelry, her hair styled in a side bun, for another hectic day.
Only today, she had another task to handle. The task of talking to her son, who, to her, no surprise has stopped talking with her and her husband. If not for them to initiate the talk that is.
Olivia knows she has not been the mother, that Arthit expected her to be. While her son was waiting at home, she was busy parenting the business with her husband.
What she didn't know was Arthit wanted little of her attention. A little presence of her in his everyday life. Enough for Arthit to share how good his day was.
A year after Arthit's birth, the death of her father-in-law caused a large drop in the company status. Some of the committee members protested against the idea of Jared handling the company henceforth, wherein Jared is the perfect choice for this position.
With their decision of collaborating her father's company with the Rojnapat's, the load that came along was not what they had anticipated at that time. Causing them to fall apart from their only son.
It took them years to stand back firmly, not to go bankrupt. And by the time they had everything in their hands, Arthit had learned to live without them.
They don't blame Arthit for anything.
Olivia jerked in her place when she heard the commotion from the cabin, attached to her room. A sound of loud muffled words beating against the walls. Oh, she knew, what was happening.
Olivia scrunched her eyes tight shut, when she entered the room, walking to her husband, behind the desk. Passing through a furious Arthit, pacing back and forth, throwing his hands in the air, shouting and glaring at Jared, who had his hands on his ears.
Olivia slapped Jared's shoulder. "I told you to wait for me..."
"I wanted to see his reaction." Jared smiled sheepishly.
"Have you at least did the honor of telling him the reason?" She asked, watching her son, spitting words after words of accusations at them.
"No." Jared looked up at his wife.
"You love to rile him..." Olivia groaned, shaking her head.
Jared took her hand between his, squeezing it gently, He kissed the back of her palm.
"Oli..." Jared says, his eyes glistening with love. "It has been so long since our Oon showed us any emotion..."
Olivia ran her thumb, at the corner of Jared's eyes. She bent down, kissing the top of his head.
"It's been very long, Dear." She agreed.
"I am not going to listen to your orders..." Arthit pointed an angry finger at the couple, his eyes burning red. "I love him... and will never stop..."
They chuckled, as they walked around the desk, to their son.
"Don't you dare laugh..." Arthit took a step back. "I'm very much serious about him."
"I don't care if you are homophobic..." Arthit continued, shaking his head. "I don't care what people think about us..."
Arthit felt his nerves might blast inside him, with how much anger coursed through them. Throbbing blue lines decorating his temple, others tightened around his neck.
Jared approached him, making him sit on the couch against the wall. Passing a glass of water, from the table aside.
"Listen... Arth" Jared tried to intervene.
"Why can't you see me happy?"
"Art..."
Arthit shakes his head, cutting Jared again. "I'm not going to..."
"But, Arthit..."
Arthit snarled. "I love him... I won't leave him... I..."
"ARTHIT."
"WHAT?"
"JARED."
"What?" Jared pouts slumping his shoulders, facing his wife. "He is not listening to me..."
Olivia looks at her husband and her son. She won't even remember the time they were together like this.
Arthit hung his head, clutching the glass with both hands. He feels ashamed for raising his voice on his Dad. He bit his lip, in an attempt to compose himself.
"Oon" Jared whispers, patting Arthit's shoulder.
Arthit snaps his head up, to face his father. Then drops back again. Felt his eyes water with the endearment, which he had not heard in years. Which he thought he might not listen to again.
His heart feels dangerously heavy as he breathes deep, making him want to cry loud and clear. Wishing for his parents to hold him and pamper him like a child.
He does. Starting with soft sobs leaving his parted lips. As his shoulders start to shake. He keeps the glass aside, raising his hands to cover his face. Making sniffling amidst.
Jared panics, lifting his hand, as Olivia approaches them. "I didn't do anything..."
Olivia gestures with her hand for Jared to get up. She sits next to Arthit, gathering him in her arms. Gathering her little Oon, delicately. Making him lay his head against her bosom. The precious baby of her.
Jared opens the center button of his suit. Kneeling in front of Arthit. Rubbing soothing circles on his knees. "Our baby Oon."
Arthit shakes his head, wailing uncontrollably. He missed them so badly. Feeling bad for avoiding them. When they willingly came to talk to him.
"I am sorry..." Arthit mumbles, between his tears. His words muffling against his mother's chest. "So sorry."
Olivia smiles, patting Arthit's back. She cradles his face, rubbing away the tears. She sets his hair, kissing his pale smooth forehead.
"You did nothing... We are sorry, Baby. For not being there when you needed us the most..." She smiles, smudging his cheeks.
Arthit looks at them both. "No... I purposely made plans to ignore you... So many of times..." He hanged his head, guiltily. "I was angry."
"No, Baby..."
"Yes, Mom." Arthit insists, sighing.
"I have a better idea..." She chuckles, rubbing her own eyes. "Let us put this blame on Jared."
Jared glares. "I am listening to this conversation."
Jared lifts on his knees, cupping Arthit's cheek. "You grew up so quickly..."
"Yeah... He won't even fit in my arms." Olivia pokes his dimple.
The action made Arthit remember about someone.
"Please accept us..." Arthit pleads instantly, pouting his lips, like his father. "I love him... Dad, please..."
"We do." They utter in unison, with a smile.
"You do?" Arthit gapes, blinking his teary eyes. "Then why did..."
"Mom..." Jared sighs. "Your granny will be back from her Taiwan trip, the day after tomorrow..."
"And for I know..." Olivia hisses. Glaring at her husband, as if he were her mother-in-law. "She won't understand this relation..."
"We have to hide from her?" Arthit questions.
Jared nods, caressing Olivia's hand on her lap. "Only till her birthday, which is in next week... After that, we can tell her..."
"I can't do that..." Arthit said, shaking his head. "I have to show... That I love him..."
"Only till next week, Oon." Jared raises, sitting next to Arthit.
"No, Dad. You don't understand..." Arthit abruptly stands in front of them. "He'll feel abandoned, and no matter what I can't let that happen.
"And if I tell him the reason, it'll look like I don't want to show him to the world... Where in fact I want to scream and declare him as mine, in front of all.
"He'll understand the situation if we explain it... But I also know that later he'll drown himself in his insecurities... Mom, Dad... Please help me... He's very important to me."
Olivia pushed closer, resting her head on Jared's shoulder. Gripping his hand on his lap. "When did our Arthit start caring about others?"
"Not about others..." Jared smirked at Arthit. "Only about Kongpob, I guess."
"Dad..." He whines.
"Okay. Okay... My dear son, we'll help... You continue showing your love to him... We'll take care of the rest..."
"Thank you..." Arthit smiles warmly. Contented with their acceptance. "I shall take my leave now..."
Arthit blushes, glancing away when the couple gave a teasing grin.
"Someone's waiting for you?" Olivia quirks her brow.
"Yeah." Arthit scratches his nape. Rushing out before they decide to make fun of his red face. Practically running towards his room.
"I'm so happy, Oli." Jared hugs around her shoulder. "He is talking to us. Right?"
Olivia crushes her man. "Yes, he is, Honey."
"We'll protect them." Jared stares right into her eyes.
Olivia nods. Placing a soft kiss on his lips.
Jared chuckled. As he went back to hug her. "I love you."
"Love you too."
"Welcome back, Granny..." Arthit hugs Radiya, dressed in a V-neck maroon dress. "I missed you."
Radiya looks younger than her age. Carrying on with the modern trends. Although no one wishes to converse with her. Too egoistic. Her opinion, that's what matters to Radiya the most.
"You didn't even call me..." Radiya retorted, with her slight creaky voice.
He smiles sheepishly. Arthit was busy calling someone else.
"How was your trip?" Arthit enquires.
"Pleasant." She smiles, while Arthit starts the engine. "Where's Jared?"
"Out of town for a meeting..." Arthit informs, turning the steering wheel. "Will be back tomorrow."
"And how's your Mom?" She asks. Arthit knows this is just for the formality.
"Fit and Happy."
"Of course, she'll be happy since I wasn't there to piss her off." Radiya stares out of the window.
Arthit laughs. What else could he do? He is not interested in their typical unnecessary fights.
Arthit does love his granny. Although this time he is not happy about her return. He has started loving someone more than anything he ever loved.
He groaned internally, tightening his grip on the steering. If not picking up his granny, he would have gone straight home, where his Kongpob would be waiting for him.
Now it seems impossible, cause it's late and Kongpob would have already left to return.
Kongpob hastily sprints down the stairs. Rushing out onto the road. Halting, only after coming in front of a figure leaning against the expensive car.
Kong sucked in a long breath. Smiling fresh, exposing his sparkling teeth.
"I take that you missed me..." Arthit chuckles, pulling him closer.
Kong nods, throwing his arms around Arthit's shoulder. "Very much."
"Aw... I missed you too, Bubble." Arthit clutches Kong tightly. "So badly."
"I thought we won't be meeting today." He mumbles, sniffling Arthit's cologne.
"Hmm... I could not control myself anymore..." Arthit parts, cupping Kong's face. "So here I am."
Kongpob grins closing his eyes when Arthit peppers kiss on his face.
Arthit gazes at Kong from head to toe. His smooth legs are visible because of the shorts. Arthit can't wait to mark the beautiful skin.
Arthit holds his waist. He leans down, kissing Kong's collarbone. "You're looking sexy, Baby." Arthit dips his tongue in the center.
"Phi..." Kong whimpers delicately, not wanting to keel over.
"Don't moan Kong... We are on a street." Arthit chuckles, making his way to Kong's ear. "You'll make the pedestrians horny."
Kongpob pushed Arthit, heat traveling on his face. Can't believe he moaned.
"Let us go..." Arthit takes Kong's hand, entangling their fingers. "Take a walk around the block?"
"Now?"
"Yes... I didn't get to spend time with you today..."
"Okay." Kongpob nods, more than happy.
Kongpob fidgets on his place, holding a tray, carrying plates of chocolate-filled croissants and jazzy macarons, with two cups of ginger tea.
Why out of all other workers, he has to be the one to serve Arthit's parents. He has not met them before. And is nervous as hell. Not knowing what he is anxious about.
But they are Arthit's parents and anything concerned with Arthit causes various flips in his stomach.
Kongpob walks in, not daring to raise his head. Quietly placing the croissants on their plates.
"You are Kongpob, right?" Olivia says with a smile, leaning back on her chair. She watched as Kongpob stopped his action.
He meets her eyes, swallowing. He bows down. "Yes ma'am."
"You've been working here for long... And this is the first time we meet."
Kongpob stares at Jared, then back at Olivia, before nodding.
"Why don't you join us?"
Kongpob gapes. What is happening?
"Uh. No. Thank you, Ma'am." He rejects, gesturing with his hand.
Jared was itching to tease, observing Kong's nervous expression.
Kongpob is the first person that Arthit had set his eyes on. They want to be the supporting parents at least in this case.
"Where is Arthit, Kongpob?" He smirked when Kong abruptly snapped his head at him.
"I mean is he back yet?"
He'll be back soon. Kongpob wanted to reply. He knows Arthit's schedule. His whereabouts. Arthit like a lineal husband notifies Kong of every detail.
Kongpob shook his head. The heaviness in the air is too much. Arthit's parents talking to him, merrily is beyond his imagination.
He wanted to rush out of here. Then, he felt a slide down his waist. His skin prickled when the hand pinched his skin more than quickly, for the other eyes to notice.
"Someone was waiting for you..." Jared peered at Kong, who was looking gobsmacked.
Arthit held Kong's hand, pulling him to take a seat in front of Jared and Olivia.
"P'Arthit..." Kongpob panics.
"They wanted to meet you, Kongpob."
Kongpob looked at them, with fear. As he broke in a mild sweat.
"W-Why?" Kong whispered.
"We wanted to meet the person, whom our son has fallen for."
Kongpob snapped his head at Arthit. Did he tell his parents everything?
"No need to worry, Kongpob." Jared leaned forward, placing an ocean blue-colored macaron on the plate, offering to Kong.
Arthit put his hand on Kong's on the table, giving an assuring squeeze.
"We know everything about you two..." Olivia sipped on her cup of ginger tea. Take a moment. "And we very happily approve of this..."
Kongpob kept gaping. Unable to believe anything that happened right now. They are accepting him? Without caring about their reputation? Without caring about what people will talk about?
At the same time, glad, to meet Arthit's parents. Who did not criticize him, which he thought they might do. Knowing the wealthy people's ego.
"Won't you say anything?" Jared snapped his fingers.
"Thank you?" Kongpob said, swallowing deep. He looked over, to find Arthit carelessly munching on his croissants.
Jared laughed, facepalming. "You are indeed cute."
Kongpob looked at Arthit. Did he embarrass himself? While Arthit held his dimpled smile, focusing on Kong.
Olivia stood. Kongpob followed her gesture, quickly. He watched as she walked over to him. And pulled him in a hug.
Kongpob was too frozen to react. His heart mellowed with the motherly vibe that coursed through Olivia.
"I'm glad to meet you, Dear," Olivia whispered. "Welcome to the family."
Family. The word itched his lonely soul. As he broke in tearful eyes. Every sense overpowering his other.
Olivia tried parting, but Kong had the little of her dress pinched in his fingers. Not wanting to let her go.
"Aww... You want to hug me more..." She laughed ruffling his hair when he nodded on her shoulder. "Then I'll give you a bone-crushing hug, okay?"
Jared has a lingering smile, watching the interaction.
Jared walked to his son. Dropping his hand on Arthit's shoulder, pulling him sideways. "You must not let go of cute beings... I held onto my Oli, you do the same for Kongpob. Hmm?"
"I will." Arthit laughed, hanging his head. "Thanks, Dad."
"For being your shipper?" Jared tilted his head.
"For being my Dad," Arthit told him, a matter of factly.
Jared looked at Arthit, his eyes pooling with. He knows he is an unaccomplished father. Failed to do every duty that a father should have done.
"No. No. I was never..."
"You were Dad." Arthit looked at Jared, square in his eyes. "You were bound with your work... I should have had talked with you instead of pushing you away."
"I love you, Daddy." Arthit turned, hugging him.
"I love you too, Oon."
What good did Arthit do? His life seems so much more beautiful than it was before. Delightful with the way things took place. He realized, he needed to take a step, and all would have happened just fine.
It was so easy to talk with your parents. He realized, they did not hold the grudge against him as he did, and now is ashamed of it. Ashamed of putting that distance between them.
Scolded himself for behaving like an idiot. Also melting in the comforting warmth of his father.
"Dad..." Arthit giggled, wriggling. "Let go."
"No."
"Let go of him..." Olivia laughed pushing Kongpob to his lover. "Kongpob wants him too..."
Kongpob pressed his lips, holding back his smile. Felt his ears heated, with the teasing.
"Kongpob..." Jared said, with a serious face. "I don't like people who are too careful, around me..."
"So you are not supposed to hesitate... And feel free here... Consider this as your home..." Jared patted Kong's head. "And this is not soon... Trust me." He winked.
Kong nodded, blushing. Peering at Jared. Who winked at him.
"We will take our leave now..." Olivia looped her arm around Jared's. "Have some pending work."
"We'll arrange a dinner date, soon." Jared waved. "For the four of us."
"Thank you, Mr. Rojnapat." Kong smiled, bowing."
"It's Dad for you," Jared said, making his way out.
Kongpob sighed for the first time, he entered here. He leaned his hips, against the dining table. Gripping over the surface.
He gasped when Arthit made him sit on the table. Standing between his parted legs which dangled down.
"You could have informed me..." Kong glared. Faltering his eyes on Arthit's face.
"I had no idea about this..."
"Do you wish me to believe you?" Kong squinted his eyes, pushing Arthit's approaching hand on his waist.
"Up to you..." Arthit moved closer. When Kong leaned back. "Whatever the case... I did want them to meet you... And praise me for, how sexily cute my choice is..."
"This is not a time to flirt..." Kong looked away, angry but falling more for Arthit.
"Time with you is always to flirt, Baby..." Arthit kissed his cheeks, deep. "To kiss... To cuddle... To make you shy..."
Kongpob looked over, as their noses brushed. Loving the endlessly mesmerizing hazel eyes staring back at Kong.
"I don't..."
Arthit pecked his lips. "You speak too much..."
"Says the one who doesn't know to shut his mouth..." Kong returned his peck, trying to be cutely bold.
"Says the one, who is the reason why this person talks..." Arthit kissed, a little tighter this time.
"Oh... You love that person." Kong draped his hands around Arthit's neck, pulling him closer. He kissed on the dimpled cheek.
"That I most certainly do..." Arthit caressed his lips on the smiling pair of Kong.
Kongpob melted under the alluring taste of the pink lips, mixed with the chocolate filling of the croissants. He tilted his head, now nibbling Arthit's lower lip.
Kongpob doesn't know what he felt at this moment. The words would fall short to express the love, that was gathering in his heart. The... The... He doesn't know what he names this overly excited feeling.
They parted, carrying their wet lips apart. Staring for a moment before diving in a kiss again. Giggling as their lips flowed rhythmically.
"P'Arthit..." Kong whispered, after pulling away. Gathering the courage to say the words he is dying for. "I love you."
Arthit tugged his waist.
"Pardon?" Arthit leaned his ear forward. "Say it again."
Kongpob pushed him, rolling his eyes. "No."
"Just once." Arthit booped Kong's nose with his. "Please..."
Kongpob can say it millions of times. Loving Arthit is the most astonishing thing that has happened in his life.
Kong gazed right into the caramel pair. "I love you, P'Arthit."
Arthit rubbed his cheek on Kong's, squishing the man in his arms.
"I love you too, so very much."
"You have a cute nickname," Kongpob said, as they softly pulled each other's cheeks. "Oon."
"You can call me that if you want."
"No," Kong smirked, traveling his finger down Arthit's neck. "How about I call you Young Master?"
Kongpob pulled Arthit close, brushing his lips over Arthit's sensitive ear. "Or just Master?"
Arthit fisted Kong's hair softly, yanking his head back. "Don't make me lose my control..." He gave a slight lick on Kong's Adam's apple.
"Master..." Kong purred seductively, wrapping Arthit's hands on his waist. As their chests collided.
"Once this Master rightfully has his hands on you..." Arthit kissed Kong's jaw. "He'll bend you on every fucking surface in this house."
"I can't wait," Kongpob whispered.
God. I'm loving this brassy version of yours." Arthit sniffed over Kong's chest, making his way up to the thin lips.
"Kongpob..." Arthit groaned, pressing his lips strongly on Kong's. "I fucking love you, Bubble."
Kong's eyes twinkled with joy, as he smiled beautifully. Making Arthit dive onto this innocent feast of allurement.
The boring old eyes glared at them. Peeking through the door. The eyes that should have not been seen. The scenes unfolding before them, made the person want to puke.
Radiya could not believe the confession that fell on her ears, that her dear dear grandson was in love with a boy. On top of that, with a mere lowborn servant.
The relation would annihilate her esteemed reputation. Disgrace the whole of ever-so-virile Rojnapat's notoriety.
They are young and they are wrong. Going against the law of nature. She will have to make them realize that what they have is nothing but affection, which is gross in the name of love.
Kongpob, whom she thought a good kid before, now bringing the vile out of her. Radiya will have to wake him from his fantasy. Make him understand, he is not even a match to stand next to them. Their relationship is only of a master and a servant.
Kongpob peered at the collection of novels on the shelf of Arthit's comic books. All of Kong's favorite and on the to-be-read's list.
Kongpob blushed. Arthit never asked him what were his favorite books. Of course, Kong sighed, Arthit must have had eaten Tew's head off, for this.
Kongpob smiles, working his eyes on the book covers. Arthit is taking care of each of Kongpob's likes. Holy, just thinking about Arthit makes him so vibrant.
He pulled out a book from the shelf, opening and sniffling the addictive aura which emits from new books.
"For a servant, you look more than comfortable." Radiya glares at Kongpob, as she walks in.
Kongpob quickly settles the book back on the shelf.
"I'm sorry, Ma'am." Kong swallows, hanging his head.
"No need of your sorry..." Radiya walks over, sitting at the edge of the bed, straight. "I'm here to show you, your place."
Kongpob instantly hears the queue of fears settling in his mind.
"Behaving all good in front of me?" She tilts her head, her loud croaky voice, trembling Kong. "You wished I will be approving you, for my only grandson?"
She knew? From what Kong remembers, they were very well behaved in front of her, if they were with her that is. Yet sure enough to not let her know.
"Kongpob." She gave him a pitiful look, shaking her head. "I thought you were smart... Smart enough to know that you don't belong here.
"With the Rojnapat's... Do you know?... All these fantasies are good only in movies... We have our power... Our reputation... Our family."
Family. Where Arthit's parents welcomed him too. And Arthit's grandmother destroying his only chance of having one.
Radiya was the eldest... Her choice will be respected the most. He will be kicked out of this family. Soon or maybe right after this.
He could feel the terrible tightening in his chest. Terrified with the thought of separating from Arthit.
P'Arthit. He prayed, to the god who he believed had helped him, survive this long. P'Arthit.
Kongpob chewed on his lips, holding his sobs. The tears dutifully rolled down his cheeks. Uncontrollably.
That's it. He has to wake up from this dream. Dream where Arthit is just a charming character who does not belong to Kongpob.
"Did you never thought, that Arthit might need to marry a girl? For, we need an heir for our company... To continue our genes..." Radiya made a face, staring at a shakingly crying Kongpob. "And poor you certainly won't be able to give us that... You aren't capable of giving Arthit anything... Aren't you ashamed?"
Kongpob looked at her with tears in his eyes. Granny. Which he thought he found.
Kongpob broke, as he palmed his chest. The burn ripping his soul. Shredding him completely. Kongpob stumbled, his body giving upon him.
Deep down he knew this, always... The sole reason why he can't be with Arthit. The heir, the most important factor.
He closed his eyes, the years of loneliness crashing down his memories. He wanted to beg, beg Radiya, to let him be with Arthit. But the painfully aching throat made it hard, even for a whisper to escape his mouth.
He almost readily dropped on his knees... When the two soft hands prevented him. If not for the other person Kongpob would have knelt in front of a furious Radiya.
"Rojnapat's don't kneel in front of anyone..." Kong heard the soothingly soft whisper, while his body was cradled against the warm chest. "I told you that you are a part of my family, why listen to anyone else?"
"Olivia..." Radiya got on her feet. Too quickly for her age. "I won't allow this... I will not tolerate such gross behavior." She spatted. "We are renowned in this country, I won't accept a poor orphan kid in my family, not to forget a boy at that, utterly useless."
"Oh, Mother. Don't say that, your grandson will hate you." Olivia sighed, cupping Kong's trembling face, without sparing a glance at Radiya. "And don't you know that I will go against exactly what you want?" Olivia smirked.
Radiya was beyond furious, ready to burst any moment. Her little wrinkled red face might be looking funny to Olivia. But she knows this is not a time to have fun.
"This is what happens when you don't have a Mother, to teach you some manners." With that Radiya stomped out.
Olivia forced a smile, when Kongpob stiffened in her hold, gaping at her, concerned. "Don't worry about that."
The words she has been listening to from time to time. After her every disagreement with Radiya
Olivia made a loud sobbing Kongpob seat on the bed. She made herself comfortable next to him, pulling him in a bear hug. Softly swaying themselves, to soothe Kong.
"Don't cry, Kongpob..." She says, making him face her. Rubbing his cheeks. He tried pushing away. "Now sit still, it's an order."
Kong pouted, still letting the tears fall. Instantly feeling protected and safe with Olivia's presence.
"I'm not melting for your pout," Olivia stated. "Stop doing that... You're not my husband."
Kongpob sighed, with a smile. "I'm sorry." He whispered.
"For loving my son?" Olivia snapped.
"No. No. For what happened..."
"The only thing you did is loving my son. And I want you to continue doing that." She ruffled his hair. "We'll take care of the rest."
Kong shook his head, biting his lip. "Because of me, she said mean things to you."
"Oh. Never." Olivia facepalmed. "I am familiar with them. This is not the first time she said that to me."
Kongpob blinked.
"You see. I lost my mom when I was six..." Olivia draped her hand around Kong's shoulder. "Wait don't cry... At least let me complete my story..."
Kong chuckled, nodding.
"She had a brain tumor... After her, Dad was the only one for me... He raised me more than perfectly, even without my mom... He always taught me not to listen to anything against yourself, if you know that you are not wrong." She smiled. "And the reason why Radiya picks at me... She thinks I'm mannerless..."
Kongpob looked at her questionably.
"You think I'm?"
Kongpob nods, now that he is much more comfortable. "You called her with her name."
"Fine... I am a bit... But only to her." She observes as Kong still looks unconvinced. "What? I promise this... Kongpob, believe me, okay."
Kongpob laughs as she slaps his arm softly.
"You are lucky, you know?" She says, standing and walking to the balcony.
"For finding P'Arthit?" Kongpob follows her. Standing next to her, leaning. "Yes, I am."
"Please..." She scoffed, raising her hand. "For finding a mother-in-law like me." She winks.
Kongpob looks away. Obviously blushing. Still nods.
"Blushy-blushy. My son-in-law is cute." She said, nudging her arm on Kong's.
Kongpob laughs, not able to hold anymore. Not remembering he cried a minute ago.
"But no. We are lucky to have you Kongpob." Olivia turns, facing Kong. Who held a blank face. "Of course... Oon found his first-ever love... And we got our son back...
"He had stopped talking to us, as you already know... And when we raised a word against you... He erupted like a volcano, ready to melt us in his anger... Blowing out the words he had stored for us, all these years... We don't mind any of them though..."
She holds his hand. "You are a sweet adult Kongpob, even if you act like a child, but still... We love you now, not because you are Arthit's boyfriend... Or work for us... But because you are you... The hard-working angel who came into our life, who without his knowledge, happened to fix our family issues... Know that you have parents now, come to us if you have any problem or want to share anything... We will be there for you, Sweetheart."
Kongpob shakes his head, unable to believe a word. Happily crying, loud and clear, like a toddler, covering his face with his palms. "He's not my boyfriend."
"What?" She pats his shoulder. "He said you are his boyfriend... Oon didn't propose you?"
Kong shakes his head.
"Is that why you are crying?" Olivia blinks when he shakes his head again.
"I'm overwhelmed..." He croaks, sniffling. "Why are you so good and accepting me?"
"Because I wanted another child, and Jared did not work hard, I guess?" She laughs.
Kongpob gapes in disbelief, ceasing his cries. "Now I know, where P'Arthit's perverted genes came from..."
"If you understand the meaning behind it, you are a pervert as well." She rubs his back. "Wipe your tears before he comes back and thinks I am behind this."
She stares at him fondly. A smile graced her face. Watching the kid who turned out like an angel.
"After you are guys are married, you shall settle at a place which suffers from the scarcity of water... You could fulfill their need more easily... Since you seem to carry an abundance of it."
Kongpob glares, rubbing his cheek. "I'm telling him, you made me cry..."
Olivia cradles his face, smudging the skin under his eyes. "I'll destroy the evidence."
"He'll believe me even without any evidence," Kongpob says, with a smirk.
"I don't like to say this... But I can't agree more with you."
Olivia points over her shoulder next. "When was this installed?"
"It was a surprise for me too... It's beautiful, don't you think?"
"It is... I'm asking Jared to make one in our balcony as well."
"It's my P'Arthit's idea, don't steal it." Kongpob whines, slapping on the handrail.
"Who's stealing my idea?" Kong snaps his head, as the familiar voice echos in his ear.
"She is." Kong gestures, jerking his chin. While Arthit slides behind him, getting Kong in a back hug. Kissing his head.
"You won't like it?"
Kong shakes his head, glaring at Olivia who is sending betrayed glares at him.
"Okay... I won't let it happen then."
"FYI..." Olivia says, clicking her tongue. "I have a husband who'll fulfill my wish."
"Who is practically running down the house searching for you." Arthit cackled with Kongpob.
"This man..." She groaned, rubbing her temple.
"Oli..."
All the three heads looked down on the lawn. Jared glanced around ready to shout again.
"I'm up here, Jared." She waved her hand. "What are you doing in your tennis suit?"
Jared raised his head, squinting his eyes. "Michelle and Drake challenged to defeat us this time... We have to go... Move your soft ass quickly."
"Jared..." She scolded.
"I love you, Baby." Jared throws a flying kiss. He faces Kongpob. "Hey Kongpob, you wanna join?"
Kongpob just shakes his head. Sending a polite apologetic smile.
"You don't want our offers... Only our son is enough?" Jared smirks.
"Dad... Stop teasing him." Arthit laughs, caressing Kong's belly.
Jared laughs, walking away after ordering Olivia to join him.
Olivia turned, facing the couple. She bent forward kissing their foreheads. "Be together, always."
They nodded, in sync. And watched as Olivia left.
Kongpob swirled in Arthit's embrace. Wrapping his hand around Arthit's back. He lifted his head, staring at the hazel eyes, focused on him. He smiled vibrantly.
"She asked me to consider them as my parents, P'Arthit... Can you believe this? They accepted me. Pinch me... Tell me this is not my dream." Kongpob took hold of Arthit's hand. "Pinch me."
Arthit cupped his face, kissing him deep and hard. Biting his bottom lip passionately, instead of a painful pinch. Kong whimpered, fisting the side of Arthit's shirt.
Arthit dipped in, tasting the addictive intoxicating flavor.
"This is not a dream, Kongpob... You have me, you have Tew, you have mom and dad as well... Stop doubting... And just swoon over with me."
"Okay?" Arthit tucked Kong's hair strand behind his ear.
"Okay." Kongpob nodded.
Kongpob smiled, for many different reasons. The terrible interaction with Radiya settled at the far corner of his brain.
"Are you done with your duties?"
"Yes. Why?"
Arthit pecked on his lips, fusing their hand. "Let's go."
Kongpob gasped, putting his hand over his mouth. When Arthit stopped his car in front of the gate, next to his orphanage. Where he used to spend most of his evenings.
He made his way inside, sprinting. He smiled through the emotional eyes, as the little kittens and pups that he used to play with, rushed to him. Now grown up healthy. Wobbling around his legs. He missed their soft mewls and barks, so much.
The place was away from the city, and with a busy schedule, Kongpob didn't have time to visit his little friends.
"Everyone is fond of you." Kongpob heard Arthit's whisper, right behind him.
He carefully turned to hug Arthit. "Thank you P'Arthit."
"Don't..." Arthit put his finger on Kong's lips. "They must have missed you... Enjoy your time."
Kongpob nods cheerfully before sitting down on the grassy ground. Squealing with a laugh, when two furry brown cats jumped on his lap. The other gathered around him.
Arthit followed, sitting in front of Kong. Picking a naughty puppy in his arms, who was scratching Kong's jeans.
"Hey there..." Arthit tapped the pup's nose. "Say hi, to me."
He barked, licking Arthit's finger. "You're so small, Buddy." Arthit cooed.
"She wants to come to you." Kongpob points at the cat, standing on her two. Attempting to grab Arthit.
Arthit looks to his side, as the grey cat meows at him. He puts the puppy down. Then picks the cat. He places her on his lap, tickling her tummy.
Kongpob could not wish for anything more. He had Arthit with him. And he knows, Arthit will do anything for him. Even though what Kong wants is only Arthit himself.
He laughs as the cat expects more kisses from Arthit.
Arthit pecks the top of her head. He looks at another cat in front of him, practically glaring at Arthit.
"Baby... Why does it look angry to me?" Arthit asks Kongpob who is laughing, covering his mouth.
"Cause the one in your hand is Rose..." Kong bits his lips. "And that's her boyfriend Jack."
"Holy..." Arthit grins, placing Rose next to her Jack.
"Stop licking my lover." Arthit picks the white dog, who was sloppily kissing Kong's hand.
Kongpob massaged the cat, that snuggled cozily between his folded legs. Trying to pay attention to every grabby gesture addressed to him. He admired the pups sitting in a queue in front of him. The innocent eyes expectantly look at him. Barking in seldom intervals. Some fusing over Arthit, to tickle them.
He blinked feeling a tight kiss on his forehead. "You missed them?"
Kongpob nods. Grinning brightly. He blushed when Arthit pushed closer. Their faces were inches apart.
"Thank you."
"I told you not to say that..." Arthit purposely brushes his lips against Kong's.
"But I am thankful... For everything."
"And I love you... So just love me back."
"I do." Kongpob licks his lips, unconsciously.
"I know... Continue doing that, that's enough." Arthit pecks Kong's lip.
"It's late..." Arthit checked his watch. "We must head back now, shall we?"
"Okay."
"Kongpob, is that you?" Kong halts on his steps while making their way back to the car. Listening to the familiar voice
He turns back. And smiles, before hopping to that person.
Arthit frowns but follows Kong. He seethes when the other person hugs his Kongpob. He rushes to them, pulling them apart. Glaring at the other male.
"P'Arthit." Kong smiles, taking Arthit's hand. "This is P'Sarawat. Grandson of our orphanage home's director."
Arthit does not budge. Sending warnings with his eyes.
"And phi, this is P'Arthit."
Sarawat extends his hand for Arthit. And withdraws back when Arthit does not acknowledge it.
"Kongpob," Sarawat speaks, with a grin. "Is this your new crush?"
Kongpob blinks when Arthit snaps at him. Asking for an answer.
"What do you mean?" Arthit gritted his teeth, meeting Sarawat's eyes.
"I was his first ever crush." Sarawat states. "Didn't he tell you?"
Kongpob stiffens. Caught in the moment. What in the actual hell was happening with him in a day? Out of all the things in the world, Sarawat had to tease this one? In front of Arthit?
He felt Arthit's more than tight hold on his hand. He looks down, noticing their hands went pale with the strength of Arthit's grip.
"We are leaving." Arthit doesn't leave any room for further arguments. Tugging Kong with him.
Kongpob looks back, giving an apologetic smile to Sarawat.
Arthit opens the passenger door. "Get in."
Kongpob follows quietly. Scared to speak any word. He watches as Arthit gets back to his seat, dropping his head on the steering. Take deep breaths.
Arthit closed his eyes, trying to stop his thoughts. He felt the terrible fear of losing Kongpob. Seeing the other man hugging Kong, and Kongpob more than willingly allowing him stirred Arthit's emotions. Forcing him to see unexpected things.
He breathes in through his mouth, feeling his eyes prickle with tears. The pain in his chest slowly accelerated.
He feels a small tap on his shoulder.
He looks over, coming face to face with Kong. Who had a concerned look decorating his smooth features.
Arthit at the moment could not see anything apart from Kong. Feel anything apart from Kong. Only Kongpob that fills his mind.
Arthit abruptly grabs Kong's nape, crashing their lips in a hurry. Closing his eyes, letting the fearful tears fall. Arthit adjusts Kong's head up to his will, while Kong lets him.
Kongpob obliges whatever Arthit does. He could feel the water touching his cheeks, is Arthit crying? He opens his eyes, to find that he indeed is. But why? What made Arthit cry?
Arthit puts pressure on the kiss, evoking a sinful moan from Kong. Which made Arthit slow down, yet caress their lips together.
Arthit parts, still holding Kong's nape, resting their foreheads together.
"P'Arthit?"
"Don't leave me, Kong." Arthit looks at him, pleading. "I can't stand to lose you."
Kongpob feels extremely special. Arthit was crying for him. Someone was scared to lose him. Arthit was scared to lose him, which made it more meaningful. The thought that he means so much Arthit, makes him giddy.
Kong cups Arthit's face, kissing Arthit's eyes and cheeks. "I love you, P'Arthit. Only you. And you know that."
Arthit nods, gripping Kong's wrist as if he'll disappear otherwise.
"He means nothing to me... While..." Kong moves forward, hugging around Arthit's neck. "You are my everything... Master."
Arthit chuckles, kissing Kong's neck. "I love you, so much."
"I love you too." Kong pulls away, grinning as Arthit whines for losing his warmth.
"Let's go back." Kong rubs the side of his palm on Arthit's cheek. "Okay?"
"Come with me tonight?" Arthit pouts.
"Okay. My love." Kongpob grins when Arthit blushes with the endearment.
He entangles his hand with Arthit, who gazes at it fondly, then focuses on the straight road ahead. Calmed down completely. As he opens his mouth, indicating it is Kong's turn to remain quiet.
Kongpob will stay quiet and will listen to Arthit for as long as Arthit is willing to speak. Obediently sitting like a kitten, who is in love with his dear Master.
