They returned to her flat.

After measuring the flour quantities, she mixes it with water to make dough. Slicing the tomatoes, Bell peppers and all required food items on pizza.

Rose decided to make Pizza, chocolate-filled croissants and noodles.

After preparing all of it. She decided to call Artemis but before that, she wanted to know what he was doing since she had started making food.

Slowly she starts searching for him in every room until she finds him in the balcony area.

"Hello Ryan, I am fine here and having a good time. What about you?" Artemis says to the person on the call.

"Yes, Don't worry about me and there is something I want to tell you regarding my love.." Artemis stops talking when he sees Rose's shadow behind him.

"My love?" Rose stands like a doll, thinking about what he is pointing at.

"My love regarding Gardening, Ryan. I am talking about gardening" He continues to talk on the phone so that Rose can't misunderstand him.

She feels that listening to someone's private conversation is not considered a disciplined nature so she goes back to the kitchen and starts setting the dining table.

When she is setting the plates and glasses, Artemis approaches her and says "Hello Miss Amatore! Do you need any help?"

"Nothing except eating and giving company to me" She winks at him.

"Oh I see" He chuckles and drags the chair to sit.

They both sat against each other and she starts to serve the pizza first.

"It's yummy!" He claims after having a large bite.

"Thank you! I am very good at cooking and I can cook different cuisines also" She says proudly.

"Is it?" He asks with an adorable grin.

She starts eating like a child and he chuckles looking at it.

"What's so funny?" She stops chewing.

"You are completely different"

"I know" She playfully winks.

After having a long chat with delicious food, Rose kept all the plates in the dishwasher.

"Food is amazing, Miss Amatore" He concludes.

"Thank you! I am glad you liked it" She cleans the table.

"Time flew away... Isn't it?" he also starts to clean the table.

"Yes, Artemis. But you don't need to do that" She motions him to stop.

"Why?" He stops cleaning.

"You are my guest. How can I let you do all the chores?"

"It's okay and I am enjoying this" he again starts cleaning.

"But you are a CEO of a big company. You shouldn't be doing all of this" She places the cleaning cloth on the hanger,

"Rose?"

"Yes?" She turns back

"Don't worry about it, okay?"

"Okay" She thinks for a moment and nods.

"It's going to be very late if you are continuously watching the series instead of taking a good sleep at your home" Rose sits beside Artemis on the Sofa.

"I don't want to go home"

"Why so?"

"Because..." He stops

"Because?" She urges him to complete the sentence.

Artemis thinks for a moment and says "I like here because I can have a partner to accompany me. I meant there is no one at my home. All I can do is review my employee's work and manage the clients, Discussions and meetings with the officials and all BLAH BLAH.."

"Fair point"

"Yeah?"

She hums.

"hmm?" Artemis is still watching the TV show.

"But it's illegal to have a man in a girl's flat? Don't you think it's quite an unappropriate?"

He pauses the TV show and looks at her.

"Yeah, I know. That's why My driver is waiting outside for me" He pulls her cheeks softly.

"Yup! Time to leave my beautiful friend's house" He frowns and hugs her.

"Wait, you live in Manhattan right?" She breaks the hug and looks at him.

"Yes, are you willing to come with me?" He excites like a child.

He frowns.

"I meant, when did your driver come and he is waiting down all the time?"

"He came 30 minutes before and his brother family is living nearby. So I said him to spend time with him"

"Oh okay!"

"Yup and once again thank you so much for having me and I do apologize if I had made any mistakes earlier" He hugs her tightly.

"Oh my god" She hugs him back.

"I must leave or else I could fall asleep anywhere in your house" He laughs and opens the entrance door.

"Wait..." She follows him.

"Are you following me?" He imitates like Rose.

"Not yet. I am just giving send off to you" She says with a frown.

Both will enter into the lift.

For some seconds there is an awkward silence between the two of them.

Artemis looks at Rose and Rose looks at Artemis.

Artemis's strong desire is to give her a passionate kiss but he can't because of Rose's terms and happiness.

"Actually, I want to give you my phone number" Artemis breaks the silence.

"Oh, yeah. I totally forgot to ask you" She takes the phone from her baggy jeans and gives it to him.

He saved his phone number in her phone and handed it over to her.

The elevator reached the ground floor.

"There he is" Artemis waves at John and his driver who are standing afar from them with the Mercedes Benz.

"Bye, Artemis" She started to feel sad.

"Bye, Miss Amatore" He hugs her again.

"Call me whenever you need help" she hugs him back.

"Well, I should be the one saying that" He breaks the hug.

He slowly walks away from Rose.

Rose stares continuously at him.

"I wish time had stopped when I was with Rose" Artemis feels when he comes closer to his car.

"I wish he stayed for a while!" Rose claims.

He turns back and waves Bye at her.

She returns the same gesture.

Driver opens the car door, and Artemis enters into the car.

He opens his phone and sees the Rose's wallpaper on his lock screen.

It was captured an hour back when she kneads a dough with a little hair funk. Artemis saw this and thought that it would be the perfect moment to capture her presence and he did that by clicking the photos without making a camera-clicking sound.

He opens the gallery app and sees all the photos that he had captured a while ago.

He indulges in her photos and doesn't see the notification from the housemaid.

Again a notification from Maid.

"The way she cares for the people and her intelligence makes me want her as soon as possible," Artemis thinks while looking at the outside of the car window.

"Are you alright, Mr. Vanderbilt?" John asks.

"Yes, I am alright" He nods and again looks outside of the window.

John nods and opens the tab to search for any unread notifications.

After a few hours of traveling from Queens to New York, they finally reached Artemis Mansion.

He removes the suit and throws it on his bed.

The way that cool water just hit his body makes him energized after all running and spending time with his love.

Rose wanted only friendship with him not more than that. But Artemis took this opportunity to get closer to her.

He had accepted to be friends with her but in reality, he craves more than friendship with her. Right now all he can do is no matter what he has to get close to Rose as soon as possible and tell her that he loves her in a perfect moment.

Artemis has been very sharp since his childhood and pretty straightforward. He never steps back for anyone. But this was the first time he had to think logically to get her.

Rose changed her outfit into a white tank top and black shorts. When she jumps into her bed, she suddenly remembers the entire day moments with Artemis.

She smiles and hugs the pillow tightly.

Her colleague Alex flashes in her mind when she closes her eyes.

"Argh!" She suddenly wakes up from the bed and checks if all the windows and doors are closed or not.

"This can't be happening" She wears a long shrug which covers her body from neck to toe and searches for the pills.

"Where have I kept?" She remembers the last time.

She goes to the kitchen and opens the lower cupboards to take pills.

She takes 2 pills out of the box and takes the glass from the rack.

After filling the lukewarm water, she takes the two pills at a time.

Illusions and Panic attacks have become common for her for a few weeks, So she thinks for a moment grabs the pill box, and goes to the bedroom.

"I will not stay here" Rose packs her necessary things like a purse, phone, scarf and two-three pairs of dresses in a bag and leaves her flat.

"Come on Jesus, send me a cab" Rose tries to book a cab. Due to the weekend, she is unable to locate the cab quickly.

After struggling for 1 hour, she finally gets a cab.

"Hello madam, are you Miss Amatore?" The cab driver appears in front of Rose.

"Yes" She gets into the car.

Rose is getting too much sweat due to the panic attack which she experienced earlier at her flat. She doesn't have a water bottle or anything right now to calm her down.

After a few hours, she reaches her destination.

"Take this money" She handed over the money to the cab driver.

"Ma'am, but I don't have change for it" the Cab driver replies to her.

"No need, keep it" She runs into the mansion.

It is Vanderbilt Mansion.

"Ma'am! Who are you?" One of the bodyguards asks her.

"I am Rose, I am Rose Amatore! Friend of Mr. Vanderbilt" She says confidently.

"Do you have appointment?"

"What? Does a friend need an appointment to talk with a friend?" She yells.

"Ma'am, these are the normal protocols to follow. If you are a friend of Mr. Vanderbilt, then you must know that he is a very secure person and we don't allow anyone unless we have confirmation from him"

"Fine! Let me call him!" She takes the phone from her bag and dials his number.

"Hello?"

"Hello? Rose?" Artemis answers back.

"Could you come to your Mansion entrance please!" she begs.

Both the bodyguards look at each other in silence.

"What? Why?" He still sounds sleepy.

"For god's sake! Please!"

"Mr. Vanderbilt? Mr. Vanderbilt?" Rose starts shouting when he is approaching the main gate.

"Sir, Do you know Rose Amatore?" One of the bodyguards asks him.

"Yes, she is my close friend. Allow her"

"All clear, Allow her," the Bodyguard tells the guard to open the mansion gate in a walkie-talkie.

"Okay" One of the security guards responds and presses the button to open the gate.

She goes inside.

He holds her hand and goes inside.

Rose observes his outfit, he is still in his nightwear.

He opens the door.

"Artemis" She hugs him when they enter the mansion.

"Rose?" He hugs her back.

"I am very tired" She says.

"Yeah, I know" He takes her to the hall.

She looks at the surroundings inside the mansion. It was large with expensive furniture everywhere.

"Please be seated!" He signals her to sit on the sofa.

She sits like a child, keeping his legs towards her chest.

"Rose? Are you okay? do you know what time it is?" He sits beside her.

"What time is it?" she looks at him.

"It's 4.45 am"

No response from Rose.

"Rose?"

No response

"Rose?"

Again No response.

"Rose?" He gently shakes her shoulders.

"Argh!" She comes out of the trauma and again hugs Artemis tightly.

"I don't want to live! I don't want to live" She cries out loudly.

"Rose? What happened? Tell me what happened" He assures her.

"Alex.. Alex.. Alex.." She stutters.

"Rose?" He breaks the hug.

Rose became unconscious.

"Rose?" He tries to wake her.

She faints on the sofa.

"Oh my god! The maid is also not there to help her! and John was in his home. What should I do now?"

Then he gets the idea and opens his phone to call his one and only guardian angel.

After few rings, His guardian angel responds.
