Artemis leaves his mansion to go to office.

"Good Morning, Mr. Vanderbilt" John greets Artemis at the Vanderbilt's office.

"Good Morning, John" He greets him back.

They both enter into the elevator.

"I would like to say you are an absolute masterpiece sir"

"Is there any doubt?" He chuckles.

"Of course not, you dealt with our clients and managed all the related work by staying at home, After being CEO also" John praises him.

"If you have a commitment towards your work, you are good to go" He says.

They reached the 18th floor.

"Good morning sir" Employees and other board members greeted him.

"Good morning, Everyone" He greets them back with a smile.

"Is everything okay here?" Artemis sits on the chair in his cabin.

"Absolutely sir, since you gave me the opportunity to handle the work while your absence here. I took this opportunity to handle things perfectly" John nods his head.

"That's good to hear, I have trust in you. So this is the reason I kept you as my PA" Artemis sees his desktop.

John smiles with pride.

When he is about to click the icon on the desktop, he suddenly remembers Rose takes out the phone from his pocket and contacts her.

"The number you have dialed, is currently busy" It is getting.

"Hello, Rose! All safe? Did you reach your home?" He messages her.

Jana is walking here and there in her bedroom and thinks about the future course of action.

"Has he agreed to our marriage?" She asks to herself and becomes tense.

"Miss Florence, Is anything bothering you?" Mrs. Bunman comes to her.

"Why do you care?" She yells in frustration.

Mrs. Bunman is shocked after hearing her response.

"Get out of here. I don't want to talk to anyone right now!" She yells again.

Mrs. Bunman leaves without any reply.

Her phone rings, it is an incoming call from Artemis.

"Hello, Mr. Vanderbilt?" Mrs. Bunman speaks.

"Hello, Mrs. Bunman. I've been trying to contact Jana. Is she okay? She is not picking my calls. Where is she?"

"Miss Florence is walking here and there in her bedroom, when I asked she yelled at me"

"Did she yell at you?" 

"Umm, Yes Mr. Vanderbilt"

"What did she say?"

"Get out of here. I don't want to talk to anyone right now!"

"Okay, leave her alone. I know how to handle it. Please focus on your work Mrs. Bunman"

"Okay, Mr. Vanderbilt" She cuts the call.

4.00 PM

Still, there is no response from Rose.

He called her again, it said Switched off.

He groans and leaves for his mansion.

"Are you out of your senses or what?" Artemis barges into Jana's bedroom.

"First of all, Don't yell at me!" Jana says.

"Oh, are you boss for me?" He keeps his hands on his hips to show his authority.

"I am really bored, Artemis. I have been staying here and doing nothing except eating and sleeping"

"Then you are taking out the frustration on others?" He raises his eyes.

"Pregnancy hormones, Artemis" She tries to cover herself.

He leaves her room.

"I hope the results will come soon, then I will take the necessary action" He enters his room and sits on the single sofa.

He opens his phone to see any notifications from Rose. Unfortunately, there is nothing except junk mail.

He calls his friend Dr. Reeves.

"Hello, Artemis!" She responds.

"Hey, Dr. Reeves. I called you to know about the status of the test"

"Yes, Just now we are heading to examine it. I will let you know as soon as the results are out"

"Thank you" He cuts the call.

"Who is on the phone?" Jana enters his room.

"How many times have I told you to knock before barging into my room?" He warns her.

"Am I a stranger to you or what?"

"We are not yet married" He reminds her.

She groans.

"When will the results be out?" She asks him.

"Maybe after 3-5 days" He gets up from the chair and goes to the whiteboard area.

And starts marking the days, which are important to him.

"Okay, I hope everything is alright" She says in a concerned tone.

He closes his eyes with anger and tries to remain composed.

"Okay, can we go out ?" 

He turns around to see her.

"Not this time, you will catch a cold. So I suggest you take a morning walk from tomorrow  with me"

"I can wear a sweater, though!" She says.

"Have you seen the climate outside? It is snowing!"

She nods in understanding and leaves.

He frequently checks his phone notifications. Still, there is no response from her. 

He decides to call Teena, her colleague.

"Hello, Teena?"

"Good evening, Mr. Vanderbilt" She responds back.

"Has Rose come to the office today?"

"No, sir. Is there any problem?"

"She left early morning today, I told her to inform me when she reached the destination. But I didn't get any response from her. I've called her multiple times, sometimes it is switched off and out of the network area. I am worried, right now"

"Yes sir, She informed me yesterday night that she would be coming this morning. But today she didn't come to the office, I thought that she wanted to take a rest. So I didn't call her"

"Okay, thank you" he cuts the call.

He closes his eyes and thinks about what could have happened and the reason behind her not responding behavior.

His phone starts ringing.

He opens his eyes and sees 'ROSE' on the incoming call ID.

"Hello? Rose?" 

"Hello, Artemis?"

"I have been trying to contact you, where have you been? Teena also said that you didn't come to the office today. The driver said that you insisted him stop at the supermarket which is near to your house. Why?"

"Yeah, I needed to buy some groceries. So I told him to drop me at the supermarket and I told him to leave. He said that he would drop me off after buying the groceries. Then I said there is a 5 minutes distance from the supermarket to my home, So I begged him to leave"

"Okay, where are you now?"

"At my home"

"Why didn't you answer my calls before?"

"I drifted off to sleep when I entered my bedroom and my phone battery was a little low. I kept charging and I got an incoming call from my childhood friend so I spoke to her."

"Anyhow, Take care Rose" He says.

"Yeah, Take care you too" She responds back.

Days have passed with silly fights between Jana and Artemis. Artemis tries to make the time to speak to her and get to know her health condition.

The Test result is out after 3 days, it's been mailed to Artemis.

The test result is 'POSITIVE'

Artemis is the father of the unborn baby.

After reading the test results, He is literally shocked.

He was hundred percent sure that, he was not the father of the unborn baby. After the results not only Artemis but his friend Dr. Reeves also shocked.

As usual, he gets ready for the office and has breakfast with Jana.

"Did the results come out?" Jana asks while he is tieing shoe lays.

"Yeah, I forgot to say that. Yes results are out and the baby is absolutely fine" He says forcing a smile on his face.

"That sounds good" She smiles.

Mrs. Bunman listens to their words and understands the situation. Artemis tries to keep his personal life away from the maids, bodyguards, and personal assistant. He knew that they will take a chance to stab him back at any time even though they were very good at heart. 

But he took help from Mrs. Bunman to keep Jana away from him when Dr. Reeves was taking blood sample from him for the test.

He just told her to inform him when Jana completes the call and approaches him. The phone call which she got at the time was made by his friend Gabriel. Their mutual friend. Mrs. Bunman didn't know that this test was done to find out who the biological father was.

Before the day, Artemis told Gabriel to call her at a specific time in order to distract her.

After finding out he is the biological father of the unborn baby, Artemis couldn't stop thinking about Rose. After all, he loved her. Previously, he loved Jana. But things were not correct at that time and he learned that Jana used him. After knowing that, He removes her from his heart and then falls in love after seeing Rose.

At first, he thought that it was a physical attraction. But after meeting her, he is drawn to her kindness and caring attitude. Ultimately, making her print on his heart.

 He is still confused about the results and calls Dr. Reeves again and confirms that the test result is positive.

It took several days for him to accept the truth. In the meanwhile, he never tried to contact Rose again. He was in a dilemma about the test results.

It's been two weeks since Rose and Artemis spoke to each other.

 Neither did he try to contact her nor she.

Now, Artemis is confused about his personal life. He spent so many years with the girlfriends, but none of them were fit for him until Jana came into his life. They dated for a while, attending parties and balls. Inviting each other's houses and trips.

They had the best life before they broke up. After spending time with her, Artemis thinks that she is the one who fits him and proposes to her in front of the Eiffel Tower. She said Yes.

They spend the night together in a luxury mansion. After a few days, Jana and her current boyfriend cheated on Artemis. 

Now, the woman who cheated on him again came back into his life with a precious gift.

On one side, he didn't want to lose his baby and other side he didn't want to lose his love on Rose.

Now Jana Is 10 weeks pregnant. She tries her level best to be close with Artemis all the time when he gets home. Artemis doesn't give importance to her but the baby. 

After knowing that he is the father, he becomes very protective of the unborn baby and Informs Mrs. Bunman to make different kinds of healthy foods to feed Jana. He and Jana go for a little morning walk. He doesn't have feelings for her, except for the baby.

After having dinner, Artemis silently goes back to the upstairs.

Jana observes his silence and completes her dinner.

"Are you alright?" Jana stands at the doorstep of his bedroom.

"Yes, I am" He responds without seeing her.

"You have been making faces for two weeks, what's happening?" She says in a concerned tone.

"It's nothing, I have been busy with the office work and client's stuff. Go and sleep" He sees her.

She hums and leaves the room.

He closes the laptop and goes to the bed and falls on it.

Suddenly, there is a call from Dr. Reeves At midnight.

"Hello, Samantha? Are you alright?" He picks up the call.

"I am so sorry Artemis. We did a blunder mistake" She started to apologize.

"What is it?" He turns on the bed lamp and sits on the bed.

"Results have been switched" she says in a low voice.

"What?" His deep sleep has gone after listening to this masterpiece.

"Yes, We have taken utmost care but the results were switched due to this damn system"

"How is it possible?"

"Actually after the test, results are stored in the computer"

"Then?"

"We designed the system in such a way that results will be delivered to the user id's automatically by the system using code"

"Is there any problem in your code?"

"The problem is not in the code, it's in the system. It is affected by the virus and the system is malfunctioning resulting in false reports"

"When did you find this?"

"Before five minutes, Artemis"

"Oh, Jesus! Then what is the actual result, now?"

"We have a copy of the actual results,  we will send them to you as soon as possible"

"Fine, send it asap"

"Will you send to me by tomorrow morning?"

"Yes"

Artemis feels some kind of discomfort after knowing the test results are false reports.

He gets up and goes to the balcony and sees the moon in the sky. Suddenly Rose appears on the moon where she is smiling. It's his imagination.

"I hope this test results will be delivered as soon as possible" He sits on the chair in the balcony and waits for the results to be delivered.

Suddenly, he wakes from sleep and realizes that he has gone to sleep while watching the stars.

He switches on his phone to see the time. It's 4.00 AM but there is no single message or mail of the test.

He goes inside and sleeps on the bed.

"Mr. Vanderbilt" Mrs. Bunman tries to wake him up in the morning.

No response from him.

"Mr. Vanderbilt?" She gently shakes his shoulder to wake him up,

"I will wake him up, Mrs.Bunman. Please take care of the kitchen" Jana comes closer to him.

Mrs. Bunman nods and leaves.

"Artemis?" She wakes him up.

He opens his eyes slowly and reads the time is 10.05 AM.

"Oh my god! It's 10.05 AM. Why you didn't wake me up before?" He sits on the bed.

"It's a Sunday" She smiles.

Artemis thinks for a moment and realizes that it is Sunday.

"Yeah, I forgot it" 

"Are you okay? you look so tired" She caress his hair.

"I am fine, where is my phone?" He looks at the surroundings.

"Your phone charging is low, so I kept charging in the early morning" She gives his phone.

He switches on the phone and sees the all unread messages and emails. All are related to the company. He checks again to make sure that he is seeing correct or not.

"Get ready, Artemis and come down. Have breakfast" Jana gets up and leaves the door.

After she leaves, he immediately locks his door.

He angrily calls to Dr. Reeves.

"Hey, Artemis" She responds.

"Where are the results? Still, you got a problem with that?" He yells at her.

"Artemis, cool down. I decided to make the call for you personally and say the result. Instead, you called me"

He groans.

"The result is..."
