The life of Rose Amatore has been pretty simple. Working her ass off from morning 10 am to evening 6.00 PM. Living inside a flat, on the 15th floor. Two years back, Her mother died due to Cancer. Her name is Lily Amatore, worked as a Math Professor in a reputed college and raised her daughter well until she died. Her father name is Jin Amatore, was a Chemical Engineer who died due to excessive alcohol.

Rose is single and has no boyfriend, and she is strictly bound to her office work and principles which her mother taught to her when she was a child. She can get as many as boyfriends if she intends to. Because she is an absolute diva.

Rose morning routine starts with a yoga, some exercises and one cup of honey-lemon water. Rose believes that beauty comes from the inner self, positivity and kindness at heart. She doesn't apply makeup to her face, even at parties except SPF tinted lip-balm.

"Good Evening, Mr. Vanderbilt. Just now I got a call from Mr. Raymond that they are inviting you to attend the Event success party. Which is happening around 10 PM today" John, Personal assistant of Artemis says to him.

"what you said to him?" Artemis chuckles while typing something on his keyboard.

"I said you will be busy regarding paperwork. But they are still insisting you to attend sir, So I leave it up to you sir" John politely responds.

"Okay. If he wants me to attend that party surely then I must be there" Artemis huffs.

"Okay sir, I will inform Mr. Raymond" John leaves.

TRING TRING TRING...

Someone calls  Artemis's number.

He sees the ID of that call it's his ex Alanna.

"Why is she calling me?" He slides the green accept button.

"Hello? Artemis?" Alanna speaks in worry.

"Yes, it's me. What do you want?" Artemis speaks bluntly.

"Please don't talk to me like that darling" She starts to cry.

"Stop it Alanna" He gets up from the chair angrily.

"Please, Artemis. I didn't mean to hurt you in any way. I am coming to New york next week to meet you"

"Please don't come here to destroy me once more" He pleases her.

"There is an important thing I should tell you" she says in a concerned tone.

"What is it?" 

"I will say in person, Until then have a good day darling" She cuts off the call.

"What should I do? I am very tired Suzan!" Rose answers to her friend/ colleague on phone.

"Rose, you have to! Life not only works in the Office babe. You are earning a pretty good salary and where does your money go to? Ultimately to you only. So buy some hot dresses and impress boys and have a good intimate life darling" Suzan replies.

"It's a party. I know when it is going to end. I will be reaching my flat in the early morning 3 or 4 am."

"You are a complain box, do you know that?"

Rose groans.

"I know Rose, you are far away from parties but they have invited you to attend. Then think about, how they are giving much importance to you. Because their company details such as analytics and much more will be done by our company. I am suffering from heavy cramps so that is the reason I am unable to attend that party. Otherwise, I would."

"Okay, I will attend"

"Love you, My boyfriend came just now" Suzan cuts off the call.

"Of course you do" Rose groans and continues her dashboard preparing.

"Hey, Rosie... What's up?" Alex, her teammate interrupts her.

"How many times should I tell you to not call me by that name? I am not your girlfriend okay?" She glares at him.

"Hey, I thought we were more than friends?" He frowns.

"No, we are not! we are just colleagues that's it" She goes back to typing something.

"Okay then, your wish" Alex leaves.

Rose sighs and goes to the washroom. When she is washing her hands, she felt something unusual and when she saw the mirror in front of her. It is Alex.

"Alex?" she turns towards him

"You filthy bitch! Let me show you how much I love you" He immediately shuts her mouth by his strong and big hand palm.

Rose is unable to scream because his palm is very much big in size, it not only covers her mouth but her entire face also.

"Help!! Help!!!" She tries to yell.

"Don't ever try bitch! Because you are not gonna be saved by anyone except me" He whispers into her ear dragging her forcefully into the washroom cabinet.

He locks it.

"If you scream, You will see another side of me" He whispers in her ear.

She nods with fear.

He takes the long white cloth from his pocket and covers her mouth tightly to prevent her from screaming. 

Poor Rose who is standing like a doll with fear and anxiety.

"Well well well, I think I am having my meal right now" He grins like a devil and opens his pant zip.

Rose gasps when she wakes up from the sleep.

It was a dream or she could call it the worse.

"When did I go to sleep?" She asks her friend Teena.

"After having a call with Suzan" Teena replies.

"Oh my god" She closes her eyes and tries to focus on her breath.

"What happened? All you alright?" Teena asks.

"Yes, I am alright," she says to her and sees Alex speaking to their project team leader.

"Are you really alright?" Teena asks again moving closer to her.

"No, Teena" Rose sighs.

"Why?" Teena started to seem concerned.

"It's been a few days since I have started experiencing panic attacks or maybe anxiety attacks" Rose sighs.

"Why is that so?"

"After seeing that incident, I am experiencing this kind of event" She whispers.

"I know you are very much sensitive to those issues but trust me, this happens in every corner of the world. In this era, we are meant to be software engineers not the detectives or belonging to some designation in the police department. We should take care of ourselves and others who are around us, that's all we can do"

"Yes, you are right" Rose nods.

"Hey guys, What's the latest gossip you are talking about?" Another teammate Rinky Walia interrupts their discussion.

"There is nothing gossip here baby, except for the mental health issues" Teena groans.

"What? Mental health issues?" Rinky gasps.

"Yes, I am having some issues like panic attacks and much more kind of it" Rose answers Rinky's question.

"Why? Are you thinking about something for a long time or what is it?" Rinky grabs one of the nearby chairs and sits down to have a conversation with them.

"You know right how sensitive I am when it comes to the assaults or related to that?" Rose expects an answer from Rinky.

"Yes, wait.. are you talking about the incident which happened two weeks back?" Rinky asks.

"Yes" Rose and Teena both say in Unison.

Flashback

A few weeks back, Alex Gartner one of the teammates of Rose's group had a girlfriend named Jana. Jana is simply attractive and rich. She works as a lawyer and had an affair with Alex. One day, Jana invites Alex to introduce him to her family. Her family liked Alex so much and they approved of their marriage. After their Engagement, They moved in together in New York. The day after their wedding, Alex maritally raped Jana. After the rape, Alex's true colors are shown especially to Jana. Jana is a very good friend of Teena in her high school days. When Teena suddenly visits Jana's and Alex's home, she sees the bruise marks on her neck and entire body. Jana speaks about it and makes a promise not to tell anyone. But things changed when Alex tried to flirt with his new teammate Rose Amatore. Initially she thoughts that he is just kidding and being jovial. But after so many tries, He tried to kiss Rose without her consent which is caught by Teena. Teena warned him several times but he still ignored and continued his flirting nature.

When Rose is saved by Teena, Teena also says to Rose that she should be careful with Alex. When she asks why, then Teena breaks the promise for the safety of Rose's future.

"Hey, it's okay! We are there for you. Don't think about him" Rinky assures Rose.

The party is already in full swing mood when Rose arrives.

"Thank you, beautiful" The Cab driver takes the amount from Rose and winks at her.

Rose smiles at him.

"Hey, Rose!" Mrs Raymond welcomes her.

"Good evening, Mrs. Raymond" Rose greets her.

"You are breathtaking, darling!" She hugs Rose.

"Thank you, Mrs. Raymond"

"Well, what about Suzan? Is she coming late? I thought you two guys were coming together?"

"Her health is not fine. So she is taking rest"

"Oh, I see. No problem! Come on let's have some wine and then we can celebrate it as much as we want" Mrs. Raymond chuckles and grabs Rose's hand.

"Well, okay! Mrs. Raymond" Rose says.

Important guests, VIPs and Raymond's family are sitting on the large sofa and they are talking about business matters and how they are dealing with it. Artemis belongs to one of the most Important in the Raymond company.

Artemis and Mr. Raymond are discussing on their business agreement while holding a glass of red wine and sipping them frequently.

"Excuse me, Mr. Vanderbilt" Mr. Raymond excused himself to answer a phone call.

"Sure" Artemis responds.

Even though, the party is in full swing where couples are enjoying their wine and lovely talks. And some young important guests were dancing like there is no tomorrow. Artemis felt alone.

He has everything, Money, Mansion, Charm except one thing partner. Not a business partner or something. A Life partner, all he wants is a life partner.

Then, Mrs. Raymond comes to Artemis's side and takes him to the dining area which is in an open area on the terrace.

Artemis giggles and simply nods at Mr. Raymond's words.

Dinner with Important guests, VIPs, and Raymond's family are seated around the dining table. In total, 15-16 people are there and Artemis belongs to the Important VIP list.

And all the people such as Employees who are partnered with Raymond are enjoying their wine and dance.

Artemis slowly sips the Fruits-infused water and glances at a girl who is enjoying her wine alone.

Artemis signals to his assistant John to come over.

"John, I need her information on my desk ASAP!" Artemis commands his trusty assistant, John. His gaze lingered on the captivating figure across the dining room. With her doe eyes, rosy lips and delicate features, she ignites an irresistible desire within him. Compelling Artemis to yearn for her presence more than ever.

"Yes, sir" John sees the girl and leaves.

The moment when Artemis laid eyes on her, he couldn't stop thinking about her. Her beauty and laugh captivated him.

"Sir, I fetched all the details about her. All the details will be in this file" John, says to Artemis while going in a car, after the party.

"Thank you, John" Artemis takes the file.

Artemis takes a quick cold shower and opens the file on his study desk.

"Rose Amatore" Artemis pronounces her name romantically.

Everything including her details is there in that covered file. Her studies, body measurements, job description, and family whereabouts.

He reads every detail about her and sees the time on his desk. It's 3.00 AM.
