Soon after Hermione came back "We're almost at Hogwarts so I recommend changing into the school robes" She made a motion for Holly to follow before she left. Holly shared a glance with Artemis before she got her robes and left to go follow Holly.

Soon after everyone was changed. When everyone was situated Ron asked the question that Artemis has been waiting for. "Which house do you guys think you'll be in?" Ron seemed excited to know if his friends might be in the same house as him.

Holly seemed to think. "Probably Hufflepuff or Gryffindor" She turned towards Artemis to-

"Slytherin" Artemis was reading a new book. Holly really couldn't be bothered to read the title.

"Why would you want to be a slimey snake?!" Ron questioned as if it was even absurd to think about.

"What are the houses?" Harry chimed up when Artemis didn't answer Ron.

"Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. These four houses have traits assigned to them. Gryffindor is for the brave and chivalrous, although I question how that works considering chivalry is dead. Hufflepuff is for the loyal and hardworking. Ravenclaw is for the wise and Slytherin is for the cunning. " Artemis said as Holly snorted at cunning. Oh course Artemis wanted to go there.

Harry's eyes widened. "Hufflepuff doesn't sound too bad" He muttered as he seemed to think.

"You forgot to mention on how everyone in Slytherin is evil" Ron hissed.

Artemis tsked. "You shouldn't just assume things about people based on something they can't control," He looked at Holly who raised an eyebrow. "sometimes they can surprise you"

Ron huffed. "Still, a lot of Death Eaters are from Slytherin"

Artemis started to read the book again. "A true waste of talent" When the train stopped he was the first one ready to go. Holly followed soon after while dragging the other two boys.

"FIRST YEARS OVER HERE" (I can't do Hagrid's accent ;-;) A giant man called out. Holly and Artemis shared a glance, he obviously wasn't completely human.

"Hagrid!" Hardy called out as he dragged the rest of the group towards the giant man. Hagrid smiled widely.

"HELLO THERE HARRY! HOPE THE TRAIN RIDE WASN'T TOO BAD. NOW HEAD TO THE BOATS. I NEED TO HURRY I'M RUNNIN A BIT BEHIND SCHEDULE"  Hagrid held up a pocket watch from one of his pockets. Harry nodded before he dragged everyone down to the boats where they got separated.

Artemis got in a boat and looked into the lake when he felt the boat sway with someone getting on. He glanced at the newcomer and raised an eyebrow. It was the Malfoy kid. "I suppose no one is sitting here?" The kid asked although it sounded a bit like a demand. Artemis couldn't help but roll his eyes.

"Considering you took the seat... there'll probably be no one else sitting here" Artemis smirked slightly as Malfoy glared slightly.

"Draco Malfoy" Malfoy held out his hand as if Artemis should start quivering.

Artemis leveled his eyes with Malfoy. "Artemis Fowl" The boats jerked into motion as the boys held on glancing at the dark waters. "You'll suppose at a school rated very high they could find an easier way to get this boat moving"

Draco nodded slightly. Artemis' eyes scanned the nearby boats looking for Holly. He frowned slightly when he couldn't find her. When he focused back at Draco he realized that he was staring. Artemis raised an eyebrow. "What's up with your eyes?" The smugness of Draco's tone was gone and was replaced with genuine curiosity.

Artemis glanced at his eyes in the water. "An accident happened with magic and me and my friend got our eyes switched. We should have been more careful, but it was the only way we could do it" Draco's eyes widened at the thought of that being the consequence of magic. He had always been told about this type of stuff but never thought he'll meet someone who had that happen to them.

"Sorry" he muttered which then turned into a gasp as he looked at Hogwarts. Artemis glanced at him before his eyes settled on Hogwarts. The gigantic castle stood magnificently, shining against the stars.

They soon reached the school and everyone was excited. They managed to get into a hall with the least amount of difficulties. A stern woman was talking, but all Artemis could think of was finding Holly. He noticed her speaking to Harry, Ron, a blond kid, and Hermione. Artemis grabbed Draco's wrist which caused Draco to squeak before he dragged them over to the four.

"-and then mum yelled at me for hours" Ron was telling a story, but as soon as his eyes landed on Draco he hissed. Draco sneered. Artemis signed.

"Can you two not fight?" Artemis questioned as Ron scoffed.

"He's a Slimey Snake!"

"And your a Dirty Weasel"

Artemis sighed. "First off snakes aren't slimey. Second you shouldn't judge people based on their upbringing. How do you think your family got rich? Someone had to do some dirty work." Draco looked a bit offended that Artemis was against him.

Holly chuckled "Artemis, I thought all you were good for was causing and solving troubles that a genius causes. I had no idea you could be a peacemaker" Artemis didn't even bother to raise an eyebrow. Just then the stern woman came back and told them to get in a line and the sorting will begin.

When they entered Artemis couldn't help, but smile.  Magic was truly splendid. A old stool and hat was put out. It started singing and Artemis took note of what it was saying. All to soon the stern teacher was calling "Fowl, Artemis". He gracefully walked over there and the hat was over his head.

"I must say you are quite perfect for Slytherin, but theirs another part of you that'll fit in Gryffindor"

"Please ignore Orion, he is not me and will never be"

"Hmmmm You shall be in SLYTHERIN"  The green and silver table cheered while a few in the yellow and black table joined. Artemis quickly took a seat to watch the rest get sorted. Soon Draco joined him and Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Holly were in Gryffindor. "Interesting" Artemis mumbled as he looked at an old wizard stand up.

Kinda sad the only reason I finished this is a) Christmas and b) my Wifi isn't working on my computer so I can't read Homestuck.
