So I know all of you wonder how I'm able to shade my hair so here is a tutorial to do it. Lemme warn you now this shading technique won't work right off the back it will take days of practice but if you wanna challenge yourself then go ahead.

I will be using two prisma colored pencils. White and black. ( This also works for colored pencil. Not crayons sadly if any of you use any) btw you may need a sharpener as well XD

First of you need a sketch emndem02 let me draw her Oc William so the finished product is a little present for her.

Now we are gonna outline the hair black since his hair color is black. try to stay in-between the lines please!

Now we are going to lightly shade it. This doesn't require alot of pressure

Now that its lightly shaded we are gonna start outlining where the dark shading will be and seperate where highlights will be which is the light grey. Highlights can be placed where ever you want them to.

Now we are gonna darken it to give it a effect please start on one side instead of allat once By doing all at once one side may look darker than the other

Now as you can see the bangs are shaded dark leaving white specks above see? Color around the highlighted white- like grey DONT color in the highlights

Now you can color in the highlights. I mixed my white and black together to add its shiny like color on the highlight. See where it's lighter? Its suppose to look like that nice and mixed

Now pay attention where I mixed the qhite see how it's mixed in above the highlights? Yet slowly is getting darker that adds depth so pay close attention to it.

You don't have to add the white, but this is what it looks like without the white mixed with the black. It's up to you which you like better
