The Chaotix were having a peaceful day at the office while they waited for another case. Hoping it would be just enough for rent and groceries. At first they thought that their lastest client was just an innocent Orochid Mantis mobian that needed help with a few ruffians that were lurking around her beauty shop. Oh...Oh how wrong they were...A trap. They were ambushed by their client who happened to be a dangerous underworld leader. Khalida had just returned from a mission with Team Teras. Only to find the new home where her new family welcomed her has been trashed. Her face darkens when her nose picked up the smell of Charmy blood. Espio kunais and ninja stars were scattered around the walks, some appeared to thrown only a few inches off targets. Signs of Vector fighting back on whoever got the jump on them.  Her Chaos were being look after by Cream the Rabbit while she was on missions.  THEY WOULD PAY FOR HURTING HER FAMILY! They would learn her sword is as sharp as her vampiric fangs.

In the "Bewitched Orchids" Hideout, the gang are beating up Espio and Charmy as their boss handles the chameleon ninja. Two strong jackal mobians who look like they could crush steel with their bare hands are making Vector look more black and blue than green. Nearby a red fox mobian has Charmy tied to a chair. Forcing him to watch his boss/ father figure getting beaten to death as all he can do is hopelessly watch. Muffled cries and pleads are all that are heard from his gagged mouth.

Vector:*panting to get as much air as possible. He never though that there was anyone whose punch matched his own. These jackals may actually have a stronger punch than him* Lok....*part of his right jaw feels broken which is making it hard to speak* Yu can hav me....jus let my friens go.....*If he could save them then that would be enough to put his heart at ease*

Jackal #1: *thinks then slugs him hide in the left side of his jaw* You three got one of the bosses best suppliers behind bars when you took that last casw. You honestly thought you wouldn't get repercussions for that? Some detective! More like my new pair of leather boots!

Jackal #2: You said it! *already wants his turn to beat up the crocodile who was talking smack beforehand* That supplier happened to be our cousin! We don't take kindly to those who hurt our family.

Fox: You both are having a dandy good time huh? *shoots an annoyed look at Chatmy* Meanwhile I have to babysit the crybaby bee boy here. What type of detective agency has a six year old anyways? *she wants to rip off his wings and shove them down his throat till he shuts up permanently* Remind me again. why I am babysitting when I HATE kids?

Both Jackals: Cuz Boss says so Newbie! Just shut it and do what you are told! *both crack their knuckles that are soaked red with Vector's blood* Otherwise you can be the next mobian punching bag we have! *They knew that this new hire would be a whiner! Though at least she knows when to shut*

It was then that the lights go out yet this is unlike any ordinary blackout. It was as if the moon had mimic the solar eclipse and completely vanish. The jackals and fox are confused as they go to put the lights back on, unaware that a new shadow has joined the cavas of darkness that it caused. Vector and Charmy still scared of their situation could only pray that this darkness would last forever if it meant that they could stay alive. A hand appeared on Vector shoulder who feared that the beating would start again. Heavens answered his mental prayers when it was a friendly voice.

Khalida:Oh Vector....*even in the dark, she can see the extent of the injuries that he had been suffering:a black eye. Bruises focused soley on the ribs themselves that could have cracked or broken a couple. Broken jaw along with a LOT of broken teeth* Let's get you out of here. *uses her blood Sword to cut his chains off before helping him get up*

Vector:*relieved that Khalida found him and the boys* Ho yu fin us?

Khalida:Whoever attacked you at home gave Charmy an injury that allowed me to follow the blood trail *she would make them ALL pay for what they did to her family*

Vector:*grunts in pain when Khalida sets him down next to Charmy who instantly hugs him when he is freed. Despite the pain, Vector returns the hug to sooth the child*

Khalida:*texts Krios and Tomas to come get them to safety. Right now she has to find Espio*  Stay here. *insists since either are in any condition to fight physical or emotional*

Vector:*grabs her arm while holding a sobbing Charmy in the other* Wai! It too danros...

Khalida:*Smiles softly* I'll be fine.*Carefully she escapes his grip* I'll be back , I promise!  *goes to find Espio*

Khalida uses the darkness to her advantage as she takes out one of the jackal brothers with a quick tackle hard from behind the wooden boxes that were near him. The other brother is kicked hard in the chin before headbutting him into a wall. The fox manages to get the jump on her. Putting her in a choking neckhold that make the undead struggle for air. Just as her vision starts to fade away, Khalida bites her arm so hard that it gushes out blood. Taking that distraction, Khalida summons her blood Sword and turns the blood into a whip like form to bind her in place.

Fox:*has a severe fear of blood. Screams and yells to the top of her lungs as she rolls around to try to break free*

Khalida:*takes a moment catch her breathe. It was only a moment when she freezes. In the air is Espio blood. There is a danger amount of it too.Her eyes go black with narrow red pupil while her anger skyrockets like a dragon taking flight. She looks ready to rip the throat of that mantis boss that dares hurt her chameleon ninja!*

Krios arrives a few minutes after Khalida texted him. Tomas had already done three all nighters and desperately needed sleep.  Being the eldest and the leader of Team Teras, it was his duty to help out his fellow teammate and friend. The aroma of blood in the air is a bit alarming given how dense it has become. Khalida can normal keep her vampiric side at bay since she follows a strict knight code. However in these circumstances.....even the most disciplined soldiers snap.

Krios:*says to himself* Come on Khalida, do not make me have to do something we BOTH will regret.....*readies his Wispon Sword as he cautiously enters the base. He manages to find Vector and Charmy who are in pretty bad shape*

Charmy:*turns his head to met Krios. His eyes are still sobbing tears, he then hugs Krios before explaining what happened in a fast and scared voice*

Krios:*holds back the urge to growl at how any mobian could scary a kid like Charmy. Right now he needs to heal them up before going for Khalida. Nora the White Wisp powers up his sword before he uses Healing boost on them*

Vector:*fully recovered as if this event had not happened at all* Woah! That's some handy power! Thanks for com- *he freezes when he remembers that Espio is still in danger* Crud! We gonna get Espio!

Krios is about to agree with him when they hear a scream echoing throughout the entire hideout. One filled with pain and how close it sounds to dying. Vector and Charmy know that scream was not from the ninja of their team but it sounds familiar. Krios feels his blood go ice cold when he rushes towards the source of it. Mentally praying that he was still able to do something before it is too late.

Krios:Don't do it Khalida....*desperately begs as he runs at full speed* Do not give into the monster half  and lose yourself entirely....there is no coming back after that....

He arrives in the room to see Khalida on top of the Orochid Mantis who is now holding what is left of her arm. Espio has been cut up all over that his magenta hue is drenched in blood, how breathing is shallow but still alive. Krios uses Nora Healing Boost on him though the blood loss has left him unconscious.  Krios then turn to the scene he dreaded to witness. His hands trembled for the very first since he got the Wispon sword.

Orochid Mantis Mobian:*coughs as fear is clear in his eyes. Tries to stagger back but Khalida pins her hard to the ground* Please....please stop it....I...I don't want to di-AUGHH!!!!

Khalida:*eyes are dangerly narrow slits as her fangs are shown. Inching closer and closer to the  green blood oozing from her ripped of limb that is only a bleeding nub now* You SHOULD HAVE thought about that when you target my familiy and boyfriend! *ready to kill her and drink the emerald O positive*

Krios:Khalida stop right there! *has Cael the Angel Wisp powering up his Wispon Sword, an inch to the vampiric red panda* Listen...You won! The Chaotix are safe and we will lock them away for a long time. Khalida....*tears start to form in his eyes* Just please...Back away. As my friend and teammate please.....do NOT make me do this....

Khalida:*hisses as if she was the vampiric half is completely taken her over. She shifts her attention on Krios. Lunges towards him*

Krios:I'm sorry....*uses the Purifying Light to incapacitate her. Catching the unconscious Khalida in her arms* At least you were still in there.

Khalida could have went for the blood but instead she knew he had the means to take her out if she lost control. Krios knew this as well but it still hurt him that he had to use Cael on her. Angel Wisps are made out of holy light energy and have the amazing ability to purify anyone plagued with evil or dark forces. It is the best way for him to handle a vampire who could be overwhelmed by bloodlust in any situation.

Later on, Krios and Tomas make the decision to hold Khalida at the hideout despite the Chaotix insisting that she can come back home. Tomas is angered by Krios decision to not wake him up when Khalida texted them. Krios fully understands since both care deeply for the girl, but Khalida is priority one right now.

Tomas:*Watches Khalida from the containment cell they put her in* Hey...*notices she has not said a single word or eaten* You can talk to me or *has an annoyed look on his face* Scaled face.....We are here for you....

Krios takes the evening shift, Tomas is greatly angered by this yet he eventually goes to bed. The two of them will talk about this! THEY ARE GOING TO TALK !!!  He goes to check on Khalida with Cael just in case.

Krios:*about to say something when he notice that their is someone else in her containment cell. He slowly approaches it to get a better look at who it is* Hmmmm *pauses when golden yellow eyes look back at him* .....I see. *smiles before heading to the security room. Cael happily follows*

Espio had managed to sneak into Team Teras base,  worried about Khalida once Vector informed him of what happened a few days ago. How seeing them in a dangerous situation that may have let them to dead. Seeing them beaten to an inch to their lives made her give in to the vampire queen haunting  persuasions taint her mind into abandoning her self. Erasing the last remains of her self so that all that is left would be a blood sucker. They all were very close to losing Khalida forever. Espio plans to stay by her side till her containment is over. To reassure her that he would not abandon her in her most desperate time of need. She rescued him in her time of need, now it was his turn to return the favor.
